the woman is a beast and there is no justification for what she has done. The man has every right to sue her to court and make sure she does not see her children ever gain

I would have began my analysis with 'What did he do to provoke her'

Well, this scenario isn't new (whether or not this particular tale is true), I've witnessed some myself. If ever the man retaliates, you'd hear someone say something _stupid like: "you no know say na woman?"

I don't care what was done to you and I don't want to know. But my question is this; how does the followers you have on Nairaland become a factor in this whole problematic equation?

Let me suggest a scenerio. Let's say someone told someone close that you engaged in something odd or bad here on Nairaland and this somehow had something to do with the people that were following you. This kind of accusation or whatever doesn't hold any ground because you are the only person who has the list of people following you, which can only be accessed through your profile, or if someone starts checking every Nairalanders profile to know who is following you, which in my opinion is crazy and time exhausting.

The list that is available for everyone to see is the list of people that you are following, which you could make empty by unfollowing every single person you were previously following.

Okay let's say you think someone following you is the cause of your problem. Even if the person unfollows you, it won't solve anything. Cause, if someone wants to trail or stalk you on Nairaland, it's as easy as typing your moniker on the search box on the home page.

So I am still trying to understand how the people following you is a problem.

Em... Here's what I think.

Ladies are better pretenders, and male cheats get caught more often. So it's somewhat seen as a norm for guys, and less so for ladies. Things like that have a cumulative effect on societal norms over generations.

With the way ladies act like cheating is a strictly male thing, why should anyone overlook it when a lady does a 'male thing'?
