I have nothing against proposing with a ring and making a girl's fantasy come true, but if her acceptance rigidly depends on the presence of a ring, she better reject fast. Much ado about rings. A girl who would say no because there's no ring can go ahead and marry a ring for all I care. The engagement ring is just a symbol to fulfill all righteousness, and not nearly as important as the proposal itself. People are just so interested in putting up appearances.
