Pk001: No winner yet. It is a Hung. The winner has to have 326 seats in the house. So far both labour and conservative have not gotten that. The king maker is Nick Clegg (Lib Dem). He has to choose which party he will form government with , and he is showing interest towards the conservative. But that isnt enough, because according to the constitution the serving prime minister has to make the move of forming a government first or if he resigns, any other party can form government. So far he trying to get the support of the Scotland and wales. So if that happens, even if Nick Clegg throws his support to David Cameron(conservative), Gondon Brown (labour) will be the winner, because he is the Prime Minister and has the advantage of forming Government first. And if neither of the two happens, the election will be conducted again. Also there is a possibility that Nick Clegg might still give his support to Labour. True, except that Scotland and wales you refer to do not have enough members to turn the tides. Nick Clegg party remains the only king-maker, and they are considering the conservatives 1st because they won the highest number of seats, if they are unable to reach an agreement with conservatives, they will then consider labour. |

You know she finds powerful men attractive whether they can perform in bed or brain dead, it doesn't matter. Or may be she will start dating Aondokaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and eventually move in with him.
No. She will be better with IBB.
Anyway she should have packed her belongings out of Aso Rock by now. She no longer has any business there. |

Walert: @Pennywise -Why did Ribadu flee Nigeria? Why didn't he declare his asset? Why is he afraid of prosecution if indeed he is transparent? Let us be objective and throw away sentiments. What You didnt follow the case at all, that case was no case. The man declared his assets. he ran out cos the cabal - Aondokia, Ibori et al were after his life. |

I will rather have El-Rufai I think the guy is more matured now after all he went through recently, sure he now knows better. Nigeria needs someone of his passion and courage. Abagworo: IBB is a joker –Groups From PETRUS OBI, Enugu Thursday, May 06, 2010
•IBB Photo: Sun News Publishing More Stories on This Section More than six major Igbo groups rose from a meeting in Enugu on Tuesday and condemned the recent decision by former military head of state, General Ibrahim Babangida (rtd) to run for presidency in 2011, an ambition, which they described as the biggest joke of the year.
In a resolution read at the end of the meeting by the convener and President of Igbo Youth Movement, Evangelist Elliot Uko, the groups declared that “Ndigbo were frightened by the mere thought of former military president, Gen Ibrahim Babangida coming back to hold Nigeria by the jugular.”
“We think that is the biggest joke of the year. It is not only bad dreams but a frightful nightmare. When did satisfying the economic needs of one’s cronies who have been out of power for a while become the criteria of occupying Aso Rock? We heard that some of them are owing banks and believe the only way to settle their debts is when their master returns to power and the partying of the mid 80’s takes off again.
“Nigeria has not recovered from the jamborees of the mid 80’s and early 90’s. We advise Gen Babangida to have a rethink, go back home and enjoy his retirement. He should fight boredom by watching Nollywood and EUEFA champions’ league. Ndigbo will resist him with all the energy that we can muster.” “His antecedents and pedigree are uninspiring, his style is completely out of fashion and counterproductive. We believe it is a joke. Gen IBB cannot be serious because we will oppose him.
The Igbo groups, which include Igbo Students Association, Igbo Traders Union, Umuada Alaigbo, World Igbo Congress and Otu Umuigbo Lagos, said they came about the resolution after painstaking research and consultations all over Igbo land.
“We sent out 6,000 questionnaires in March and we just collated them last week and they are verifiable for anybody who would want to see them. We sampled opinions of traders at Aba, Onitsha, Nnewi, Enugu, Abakaliki, Owerri and Umuahia.
“We also talked with civil servants, school teachers, students, traditional rulers, religious leaders and we can authoritatively say that we have aggregated the opinions of Ndigbo within the last eight weeks and the verdict is that, Ndigbo are totally disenchanted with the Federal Republic of Nigeria the way it is run presently.
“They are bitter with the failure of authorities to restore energy to at least 10 megawatts, they are also frustrated with the electoral process and do not think there is any need to vote in next year’s election if the brazen malpractices which has become the culture is not checked.
“Ndigbo are devastated with the seeming lukewarmness in the fight against corruption and have resolved not to be interested in Nigeria until corruption is genuinely attacked and mindless looters of our common wealth are not only brought to justice but also made to return their undeserving mind-boggling loot.
“Finally, the pace of work on federal roads in the south-east is embarrassing. Is the snail speed deliberate or is it the same war of attrition and scotched-earth policy against Ndigbo? We still await true federalism and a restructured Nigeria,” the group declared. lol @ bold. Can now also marry Turai to arrest his loneliness since they are both in same position and status now. |

Interim statement from Prof. Wole Soyinka What passes for the Nigerian nation is nothing more than a tragic arena, and Yar‘Adua is only the latest tragic figure. The vampires, including those within his own family, turned him into a mere inert resource for their diabolical schemes. They have a reckoning with their conscience, assuming they know what the word means. One can only hope that, while mouthing sanctimonious platitudes such as ”Power belongs to God,” they have now learnt that the politics of Do-or-Die cannot guarantee who does and who dies. They must stop playing God. I pray for the repose of the soul of their latest, much abused innocent victim. - Professor Wole Soyinka http://h2.punchng.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art20100506246746 The oracle has spoken! |

You children and your mum made a terrible mistake of allowing this to linger until now. This should have been stopped long time ago.
But better late than never, you got to do everything possible to let your dad realize you are not taking it any longer.
Take your mum away if possible and find out other things you can deny your father that will make him reason well.
The earlier you all put a stop to it and tell him enough is enough, the better. |
