wip2, i just hope you are real and not trying some tricks to scam people. I wonder why you are not given people link to these schools to get the information themselves. It would also add to your credibility if you can provide this forum with link to those fees you quoted. There is nothing wrong in giving information or assisting others, but i believe in a transparency. So can you be a little bit more transparent with your information? - give us the links.

TravelRe: The Desperation To Travel Out Of Nigeria by OAM4J: 12:18am On Dec 08, 2009
hadexman:
I can't give answer to your question. Reason because, it depends on what the applicant is applying for, some student or work permit and others might be medical, visit or holiday visa.

It's just that some Nigerians are getting it all wrong by applying for a visiting visa and hoping to find job and live permanently abroad.

I notice this visa stress happen mostly in Nigeria, i was lucky to accompany a friend of mine (He is a Nigerian) to Polish Embassy here, you wouldn't believe that there was few numbers of guys which i can count there.

His documents wasn't enough to prove that he will come back to SA and they still give him the opportunity to go bring more documents, at the end of the day, he was issued 1 month business visa.

So i will blame it on the Nigerian government.
I agree with some of your points there. If only the government can create a better environment for businesses to thrive, there would be jobs and so many people will not be leaving Nigeria to go and do odd jobs. in-fact if the climate is favorable I know a lot of Nigerians outside here who wouldn't mind returning home to start a bizness. But How can a serious minded person return to Nigeria, with the power situation, bad roads, lack of adequate securities. Where will he start from?

Honestly, if government get their act right, people would be pleading to come to Nigeria and not the way it is.
TravelRe: Abeg, Read This, Its Urgent! by OAM4J: 12:01am On Dec 08, 2009
Najayi has given you the best advice there, but I doubt you would take it. But think about it, if you dont mind doing anything abroad which include farming and i guess watching toilets too, why not use the money to farm in Nigeria?

Please, be very careful of agents, I know your sister is a policewoman, but still be very careful.

If you lie about your age, it will be difficult for you to change it with the new passport. So think seriously about that.

Finally, if you must travel, i will advice you travel as a student. It is much better. Don't be lazy. Find many schools in those countries, apply to them, hopefully one of them will give you an admission, if you get admission, you can come here and get information on how to apply for your visa. You can achieve all these within 3 moths if you are not lazy.

All the best.

@freshmoney,
had it been that you were not a fool, u will still be a fool as i see foolishness as a thing of joy in your life.
what on earth did u find annoying or decieving in the statement of bakare?
is it wrong for someone to advice a sick president to resign and take care of his health? is it unconstitutional for the vice president to take over in the absence of the president? is it a right thing to do killing jonathan to stop him from taking over?
why on earth is it that nigeria has been floaded with idiots of unquantifiable degrees?
outside been a man of God, Tunde bakare is a learned man. he is well read and can stand the taste of time. since u know this man, how many times have u seen him partying with our corrupt leaders or even preaching support for our politicians? he is never been a made in aso rock pastor. this is a man who we all know even in the days of the millitary, have been saying it out no minding the consequences.
the normal thing to do whenever u see a topic on any thread, attack the topic or the poster with your points and not posting unrelated issues.

The man is a serial cheater so he deserves to be out something. The both planned to be together forever. Her life took a different course because he asked her to marry him and she agreed. If he then says he will not keep his end of the bargain and forces her to leave then he should pay for her to start another life and also pay for the effects of what came with her marriage to him
Well said. Any evidence of him being a serial cheater? And have you found out the reason why he is asking for a divorce? or that doesnt matter?

Beloved, the 40% she knows nothing about how u spend raises questions. For you to succeed in your marriage transparency and openness must be total. U should let your wife have intimate understanding of how you run your finances fully. Note also that your body is more valuable than your money. If you give your body completely to your wife what then is money?Don't let something as fickle as money destroy your precious marriage.
I beg no to flow with you. Who wants a police as a wife. The wife should get real and give the guy some space. She is just being funny because she is not used to the man's financial independence. She should learn to trust the husband, and if she cant, there is nothing anybody can do about that.

Love is never enough
I think staying for pity sake is more like it. But I can bet my last cent that 99% of these women will have a guy somewhere doing the thing.

I know it wont happen to me, cheesy I will advice any man in that situation to let the woman go except he likes to be pitied.

Why? Thinking of dating one?

Well yoruba men do practice polygamist a lot. Its that trait. But do they all cheat? no
The hausas are more polygamous. many muslim yorubas are polygamous. But cheating does not belong to any particular tribe. A cheat is a cheat & has no tribal mark.

My peep in naija know I love garri, so they always send it to me. what is wrong with that? Who told you only the poor drink garri? I enjoy drinking garri with some fried meat/chicken than drinking oats or flakes cos I am a Nigerian.

Since the death of Gani, does anybody notice that this chap has upped his antics and attack on the establishment. I beleive he is one of the true crusaders for the down and trodden. Keep it up Bakare.

We all know the roles rable rousing preachers play in changing societies, Martin Luther King's " I have a dream cannot be further from the truth " nor Desmond Tutu's " Rainbow Ntion" be ignored, the more sincere and fearless men of God we have the better it will be for society at large.

Thumbs up for Bakare.

I don’t know the in’s and out’s of this saga but if the women feels that this amount is a fair divorce settlement, then good on her & I wish her good luck.
Are you sure it's the man's fault or you just want to support your own, kind of women solidarity? undecided
