0monnak0da:I dont have an English comprehension problem. I was simply asking you the simple question that would be asked in court to rubbish the so callled nysc act before the case would be thrown out. |
0monnak0da: 0monnak0da:So what if I dont graduate? So every non graduate in Nigeria is a criminal because they havent served? |
dustmalik:For elective positions like president, gobernors, senators, reps, and even non elective ministerial positions, minimum requirement in terms of qualification is SSCE. |
seunmsg: agabusta:Being a graduate does not automatically make one a criminal simply because they don't have NYSC. I believe that is only necessary if you are vying for a position that requires your degree certificate (e.g. head of parastatals, public enterprises, civil service positions). If I dump my degree certificates and tender only my SSCE result as my highest qualification, I have no case to answer to anyone. This would be a very simple issue for the court to clarify if any so called political opponent decides to raise dust; this is very simple logic and the case would be thrown out sane day. Kemi's case was different, she had a problem because she tendered a degree certificate and then submitted a fake NYSC document. She was simply bullied out of power. If she decided to fight it, she could have found a way out; just that the fake certificate made things a bit messy for her. |
alezzy13:The minimum requirement to contest for elective positions or to be appointed a minister in Nigeria is WAEC result. If lack of NYSC certificate becomes an issue for those you listed above, all they need do is just present their WAEC results. |
EmekaMD:Too many kindergarten election analysts parading themselves all over the place. In 2015, despite not being in power, Buhari had 15m votes; in 2019, the most he will lose from that figure is 3-5 million, and most of the lost supporters would never vote for PDP, let alone Atiku. Something else you fail to realise is the fact that APC didnt exist in the SS and SE in 2015; but it now has an established presence. If the total numbers pulled by APC in the SS and SE in 2015 was 300k, with APC's current structure and presence in these zones, that number will grow to over a million in 2019. For the SW, they always sit on the fence; results from the SW would be 50-50, or if anyone wins, the margin would be very insignificant (Osun election result will be the template). Despite whatever performance of apc, the SW understands that even if Atiku may make a better president, it wouldn't be to their political advantage to abandon their beloved APC and be subject to PDP. The SW also understands that if they are patient with PMB and wait it out till 2023, the presidency would most certainly return to them. So if you think the SW where apc holds strong in all 6 states will turn around and vote PDP enmass, you are certainly a naive analyst. As far as 2019 is concerned, due to the penetration of APc into the ss/se, and the fact that pdp is still fielding another aboki, pdp may not even get up to the number of votes it gathered in 2015 due to voter apathy (many wouldn't bother themselves to come out and vote since its aboki vs aboki). Ipob effects again might force certain numbers to boycott elections. And finally, the votes in the south would be seriously shared; at least 500k potential Pdp votes would be lost to SDP (donald duke), YPP (Muoghalu), AAC (Sowore) and ANN (Durotoye). For the core north (Ne/nw), Apc may not get the same number of votes it got in 2015 too, but the difference would likely be insignificant. For the SW and north central, the results would still be 50-50; things may slightly tilt in favour of pdp in the middle belt but that would only be in benue and plateau and maybe taraba. All in all, I woukd like to see an Atiku presidency, but you just cant get too excited after the kindergarten analysis you gave above bro; it's still a very tight election but when you then factor in the power of incumbency by apc, you might just have to stop being too excited for now ro avoid high BP in 2019. Atiku has one hell of work to do if he must dislodge an incumbent. |
shizzleStar:May it depart when yours is exorcised. Can I get an Men? |
Peter Obi! If Atiku picks his vice from the SW, that would be automatic victory for Buhari. Today the SE stands as the greatest opposition to Buhari and APC. Disregarding the SE and picking a running mate from the SW would be a very distasteful insult to the SE which would consequently result in widespread voter apathy. |
oluwaseyi000:You've said it all, Buhari's leadership has been disappointing to say the least; so I guess the next way forward is to Atikulate something new. It would however be painful seeing PDP take over at the centre again. So I guess one would have to just abstain from this election. |
Interesting!... Now the 2019 election will be interesting. Atiku has struggled for this consistently for 15 years and now he's finally come close to his dreams For some reason, he seems to be the best candidate out of the others presented by PDP. Although it's acknowledged he's just another crook, but amongst all the crooks (and lifeless folks) across political parties, he seems to be someone I feel may be able to make a difference as president. It's just sad that he's the candidate of the killer party PDP; kaii! How can I possibly support PDp? ![]() |
rickyrex:I gave an exhaustive answer to your question, explaining to you how you would have failed if it were an exam question you were answering. Topic dey talk of ABC, you dey ask question of 123; i.e. your question was off point. My advice to you was simple from the start, stick to the topic of discussion. |
mr1759:You really think pastor Chris is the one that drove her out?... I can bet my last dime, she was begged severely to attend the wedding bit she bluntly refused because this particular daughter is closer to her dad. Do you want the man to kill himself? |
GoTV:From all indications, it appears the woman is the one having a grudge against the rest of the family. It seems this particular daughter is closer to the dad, and the mum must have been begged to attend the wedding but she refused. You can't crucify the man for that. |
CodeTemplar:But that isn't what we were talking about... |
rickyrex:Some people find it very difficult to stay focused on the topic. In such circumstances, it becomes necessary to give them an epistle in hope that it might get them to comprehend. I doubt this approach even works for you still. |
Almost all Nigerian politicians are corrupt thieves; so may the best win. Me thinks Atiku would be a better competition for Buhari. |
madridsta007:Your point is duly noted. But I hope you got my own point?... the narrative should be better articulated next time; the narrative repeated on this thread by several persons makes it seem as though we had anything close to a democracy before now. That is obviously not the case. |
madridsta007:Haha... the all too typical response one gets whenever the deliberate deceit is busted; "where is the change?" The point I was trying to make was simple, is it too difficult for people to do the honourable thing by speaking the truth? If you acknowledge that Mr A was filthy before Mr B, why then do you keep twisting the narrative by claiming Mr B is the inventor of this filth?.... If you acknowledge that the exact undemocratic events we see today also happened under GEJ, why then do you keep peddling the lie that we had a democracy yesterday but the democract is being killed by buhari today?.... How exactly do you feel when you knowingly tell that lie with a straight face? |
www.nairaland.com/attachments/7908124_img20181006wa0005_jpegb8219ac96be65afd85e4b3c49721340e Why do the other 2 men in this picture look gay?.. or is it just me? |
madridsta007:The same GEJ that teargased Tambuwal and prevented him from entering the NASS complex?... The same GEJ that teargased Amaechu and prevented him from entering Rivers government house?... The same GEJ that told the world that 16 was greater than 19 and prevented Amaechi from being pronounced winner of the NGF elections?.... The same GEJ that used the military to violently rig Ekiti state elections in 2014, locked the sitting governor inside govt house and fed him with cocktails of teargas till PDP took over the election?.... Self inflicted amnesia! |
rickyrex:Lol... diversion as usual... That's always what happens whenever fake assertions like those on this thread are busted... I was even expecting you to use the other very common response in situations like this "so where is the change?".... Oga learn to stick to the subject of the thread. That's how people fail exams. They ask 'A', you're answering 'B' A lot of people on this thread kept ranting about how democracy has been killed by Buhari. I simply corrected that flawed notion that democracy was never alive; and something which was never alive can't be killed. If you want to get answers on whatever this regime has done right, go open another thread and try to contact members of APc for your answers. |
LuciferKristi:Lol... One thing is acknowledged here; that the protest rally was orderly and calm, and there was no attempt by thugs like Dino to push down a police barrier. The difference between the protest in 2014 and the one of yesterday is crystal clear. Meanwhile for those shouting about "Buhari killing democracy", a lot of these folk are suffering from self inflicted amnesia because there's nothing happening today which didnt happen under GEJ and OBJ. So in reality, Nigeria has NEVER had a real democracy. One person I feel sorry for in yesterdays events is Tambuwal though, oga was teargased under GEJ's so called democracy while he was speaker, now he's being teargased under Buhari's democracy as a governor. ![]() |
Very good idea!... The government should NEVER be allowed to run/operate anything in this country if it must work efficiently and profitably. |
Nothing to celebrate still; the amount generated is still too meagre and wouldnt cover the operational costs, let alone make profits enough to pay back the loans. How I wish these rails and trains would just be concessioned/privatised upon completion to ensure efficiency and profitability in it's operations; else the trains would just remain another government liability for which funds would still have to be pumped in from government coffers every year to ensure its survival. |
dbos11:An airbus A380 owned by Emirate airlines lands in Ghana, how exactly does this make anyone better than anyone?... Could this just be a case of inferiority complex? |
Agritech:Tambuwal winning that ticket would be automatic victory for Buhari. |
moderatedguy:Yeah unfortunately, Otega was the founder and sustainer of APC in Delta till 2015. But the likes of Omoagege and Ogboru came in and hijacked the machinery of the party. |
samuelchimmy:Yeah but I hope you get my point though?... The reason things dont work in Nigeria is because we've got bad bad leaders from top till bottom and even in the coming years and decades, there's still no hope of having truly competent people smell positions of power due to the kind of crude politics we practice in this side of the world. This leadership disaster affects every zone across the length and breadth of Nigeria; it isn't affecting the SE zone alone and it isnt a conspiracy by anyone to deliberately punish any particular zone as is very often peddled. |
Ikiri is back from the forest ![]() |
Lol.. so many ignorant comments on this thread; see people spewing trash about Omoagege being used and dumped. Used by who I wonder. A senator who couldn't be suspended by the entire NASS apparatus is the one some folks here actually think an unknown weightless faction of Delta state APC chapter suspend?... lol |
Edge1:Since you're reasoning with ur brain, can you kindly provide any examples please?... Provide any examples (true or even fake) of companies or individuals who wanted to go into commercial coal mining in Enugu and were denied license. We cant keep living on unverifiable concocted propaganda alone. |

As a born again Christian, I'm ashamed people still attend this man's church or seek marital counselling in his church despite his failed marriage. The bible says in the book of Psalms that a man shall leave his parents and stick to any amount of women he desires. Yet this man heads a church and he couldn't resolve his marital crisis to the extent that his Ex wife doesn't deem it fit to attend their daughters marriage yet this unforgiving pretenders sold millions of copies of Rhapsody of realities to millions of gullible Christians. Even if he was a chronic womanizer as alleged by the bitter wife, they couldn't shield their swords for their daughter's sake
I'm sometimes ashamed to be a Christian. Hate them or not Muslims are better than we Christians cos they practice what they preach
