medpren: So in one sentence, We should allow Oba claim 'he is Igbo who believes Igbos must live with fulani marauders breathing down their necks at all cost so that oil can flow to daura unhindered?'.
You are simply required to mind your goddamn business and understand that everyone mustn't buy into your opinions on national issues. You are also required to quit whining and winding like a fish brought out of water, or like child deprived of akara balls all because your candidate lost an election. Go back to your business if you have one, it's been over a year now.
medpren: Mr Oba-whatever, now that we've helped you confirm your TRUE ORIGINS which is directly related to the political sentiments you propagate here as yoruba muslim. Why are you still antagonizing us? Shouldn't you be thankful.
You came here thinking you were 'Igbo' we helped you dissect and discover your true identity as a yoruba muslim, you should be thankful. Do you know how much it costs to trace ancestry in the US? Be grateful fam!
I am indeed very grateful for your magnanimous unsolicited free assistance. May the good Lord reward you abundantly.
But I kindly implore you to allow me have my own personal position on national issues without you involving tribes, ethnic group and religion etc. It's quite myopic and a pure case of simple-mindedness for you to assume a person's tribe/religion/ethnicity/race must align with his political views; not everyone's thinking must align with the crowd around him.
Like I said before, carry your sorry ipob ass away from my mentions. And yeah sorry, i am a yoloba muslim, a lot of lovely imbeciles I've come across on this forum have told me more about my origins than I ever knew. So yeah, I think I should really start giving a damn about the opinions of these piglets. Do I assume you share similar opinion with these lovely plebs I refer to?
If it pains you so much that there are igbos who dont support ur deluded secessionist pipe dream, especially as led by the psychopathic ipob zombies, you can do urself a favour by smashing your head against some nearby bricks.. be gone!
Kenai: Says the dumb buffoon who jumped on a conversation between me and Goke7. A conversation that didn't even involve him in the first place. Now that you've been taken to the cleaners, it's "Be gone"?
Wake up and smell the coffee. It is you who should get going, loser. And I hope this experience has helped teach you a lesson on the importance of READING and COMPREHENDING a post before jumping in to type garbage.
Kindly take the nearest exit and get lost forever.
comrChris: may be you didn't see where I said all thanks to buhari n gej or you just chose to ignore that part anyway you have the right to choose anything you want to see n believe.
and for your ranting of "are you aware of this n that" pls I refuse to be aware of anything until I see them on ground, we are talking about projects one can see either ongoing or completed and not projects n figure on paper(budget),2016 budget they have claimed it will not be 100% implemented, who knows whether its all these ones you listed they will not implement.
pls before you allow this govt to fool you further this 2016 you are talking about is almost gone and very soon they will start talkin about 2017 budget
The simple point I tried to clarify was where you implied that buhari has no intentions to continue the rail projects, you claimed he only completed this one because it was almost complete. That doesnt appear to be the case judging by events since 2016 regarding these railways.
Kenai: You overestimated my brain capacity? Awww... So touching, I think I'm tearing up. *sniff-sniff*
Unfortunately, I can't say the same for you. I never 'overestimated' your brain capacity. I knew right from the onset you were a dullard because your pitiful history of obtuse, hair-brained and intellectually vapid babbles is well documented across these boards.
Knowing your knack for bare-faced lies and fact-twisting, what I seek to do is not to educate you, but to prevent you and your pack of liars from misinforming and deceiving the innocent silent readers who might be going through these threads.
Like they say, when a lie goes unchallenged for a while, it becomes gospel. This is more evident in the "Jonathan Ruled For 6 Years" lie which many people ended up chanting because it went unchallenged, never minding that he served from 2010 to 2015. Knowing how morally wretched Buhari and the depraved subhumans supporting him are, it was only a question of time before they tried to award the accolade to him. Remember the "BUHARI BUILT 3 REFINERIES" scam? Remember the "BUHARI CUT DOWN INFLATION" scam?
We're on ground now, and your lies will never be allowed to take off anymore.
Better adjust to that new reality, loser.
Until the one week period i gave your brain to assimilate info expires, i would bother reading beyond the first sentence of your repeated, pointless, off-the-topic wailing verses you keep vomiting. Be gone!
comrChris: the way some people reason in this country baffles me so much, thanks to Gej n buhari but Jonathan has to take the greater glory here
some people here can never ever see the truth n recognize it again all because of hate, tell me why will some people with a conscious mind be giving buhari all the glory leaving behind the initiator of the project all because buhari did the finishing touch, the truth is that no govt will meet a gigantic project of that nature with 90% completion and will not first n foremost jump into its completion to have his name registered on it,they easily abandon projects that are still far from completion no matter how important it will serve to the masses, politicians care about their names written on a projects more than they care about its importance to the masses n I can tell you that is why buhari jumped into all these almost completed projects of Jonathan, that laugh on his face is not because of the importance of this project to the populace but because his name is going to be on it
the question now is,is there any law that stops a govt from initiating a new project(s) while they are completing the projects of the previous govt because since buhari took over nothing new has been initiated except recycling on the things the person they love to insult with different names started ranging from electricity ( which later crumbled after their body language propaganda),TSA,refinery n now this rail...anybody that still denies that Jonathan tried very well on these below listed ministries will for ever be a liar n his or her zombiesm has no cure Education Transport Health Economy Agriculture Sports The only problem he had was in the area of Security
You confidently allege that buhari completed this project cos it was almost complete, and you are also sure that buhari would not have touched the project if it was far from complete? Wow!
Are you aware the that for the total rail modernisation plan, the abuja to kaduna route is less than 10% of the entire proposed rail routes yet you think buhari is doing this because it is almost complete?... does less than 10% sound like something which is almost complete?
Are you also aware or have you forgotten so soon that buhari fought the national assembly to ensure the Lagos-calabar and lagos-kano standard rail lines were included in the 2016 budget?
Are you also aware that up to N100bn was budgeted in 2016 for the Lagos-calabar and lagos-kano standard rail lines by buhari, an amount which is already larger than the total spent by GEJ (less than N60bn) for the abuja to kaduna rail?... may I also remind you that Buhari's govt even paid up the balance of that N60bn (up to N18bn) for the abuja to kaduna rail to be completed and commisioned today.
With the above, do you still think buhari is doing this only because it is almost complete?... or do you still really think buhari deserves zero commendation for progressing a good project which has been in the books since 2006?
Kenai: This thicko is still out here deceiving himself. Such a shame.
I have already referred you to the thread you should go read to witness your zombies attacking EVERY, and I mean EVERY rail project started by Jonathan. I've also given you the video that chronicles the progress of the rail system, showing that your inept illiterate idol played absolutely no role in the train he's trying to claim today. If you choose to still remain here telling empty lies, that's your cross to carry. Rest assured that I'll always be around to help you dig your own hole and bring further huimiliation to you. That choice is yours, loser.
I'm sorry I must have overestimated your brain capacity, probably because of your good use of grammar, I assumed I was conversing with a sound person who should know the difference between 5 and 6. But now I know better; some brains are unfortunately not as fast as a standard brain ought to be, so I would leave you some time, say a week, for your brain to assimilate and grasp the simple message on the difference between high speed trains and scraps.
Kenai: "Nobody ever badmouthed the standard guage project".
Just listen to yourself and how miserably pathetic you sound. Lying may be in your DNA; but it's sometimes wiser to simply keep shut if you know you're going to do nothing but disgrace yourself.
Was it not on this forum that EVERY rail project of GEJ was attacked as scrap? Why are you so desperate in your quest to rewrite the disgraceful past of your co-travellers?
Was it not on LRNZH's thread where he tried to draw up numerous comparisons between Jonathan's trains and the trains in other countries in a bid to attack GEJ?
When your fellow numbskulls came in here branding ALL of Jonathan's railway revitalisation projects, was there any mention of "Err, no, I'm actually not attacking standard guage ooh!"? Did any of you praise-singers even attempt to specify if it was Standard Guage they were attacking or not?
You forget that the 5 years worth of hateful junk from your fellow zombies is littered all over the forum, and can always be pulled up to shame you and your lies. Their history of irrational hate for GEJ is well documented on these boards, so it would do you a world of good if you refrained from retroactively contextualizing your numerous episodes of unbriddled tomfoolery.
I posted a video that showed that THIS VERY SAME Abuja-Kaduna rail project you're trying to distinguish from GEJ's earlier works, was STILL built and finished by GEJ. You should get your dull brain up and working and watch the freaking documentary instead of messing yourself up here.
Boy, you have lost.
Take the L like a man and stop further digging your hole!
Apparently I've been talking to a mannerless kid who's just out to win an argument for some imaginary price, hence all the pointless blabbing; a person who doesn't know the difference between narrow and standard gauge coming here to insult people.
The first standard gauge train in Nigeria is being commissioned today, yet in your infinite wisdom, you claim to have seen where someone at some point in the past was insulting a train that was only commissioned today... Oh I forgot, your brain still hasn't assimilated that there's a difference between those former train systems and the one just being commissioned today, my bad!
Kenai: With each successive post, you continue toi show me how dull you are as an individial and a poster. Please look below for a quick summary on the chronicle of the discussion and where you started shooting yourself, numbskull:
Goke7: "What is all the fuss about if Buhari commissions a Jonathan project? He commissioned his predecessors' projects too."
Kenai: "The fuss here is that Buhari and his camp are the only ones to criticize and badmouth a project while out of power only to try to steal the glory for the same project while in power."
*Obailala jumps in with his trademark tomfoolery*
Obailala: "Jonathan commissioned deathtraps! Jonathan commissioned scrap! The insults were well in order because Jonathan commissioned these repainted junk locomotives!"
(You still don't see how you foolishly veered off from the main issue? Read on, still)
Kenai: "Errr... No, dull citizen. We're talking about these modern trains. "
*Obailala comes in again with his low IQ and lack of basic comprehension*
Obailala: "Obasanjo commissioned the first this-and-that guage. Lugard commissioned this guage. Arnold Schwarzenegger commissioned that guage"
(How the hell does that really have ANYTHING to do with the MAIN issue which is TAKING CREDIT FOR SOMETHING YOU CRITICIZED IN THE PAST AND HAD NO ROLE IN ITS ACTUALISATION?)
If after all this and your dull brain still can't show you how you played yourself here, then there's really no helping you. It simply means you are perpetually locked in your own vortex of iddiocy, and you genuinely have my pity.
What a dullard!
My main point I have been trying to pass across is regarding the bolded part of your message above. Nobody ever badmouthed the standard gauge rail project which is being commissioned today; the badmouthed projects are the refurbished/exhumed pre-1960 rail track system which can't support a decent fast moving train. Narrow and standard gauge rails are not the same thing as you've been ignorantly vomiting repeatedly all evening. That is the simple message I've been trying to impress into your skull all evening, even a primary school pupil or a person with a pentium 1 brain should have grabbed this message ages ago.
Meanwhile every other thing I said was in response to the extra bits of garbage you kept shooting out.
Kenai: You ended up disgracing no-one but yourself with your hopelessly barren attempt at coming off as sensible. My first post highlighted the hypocrisy of the ruling party and its penchant for turning and trying to steal credit for projects and policies it hitherto denigrated. You, on the other hand, foolishly just jumped right in on an endless hair-brained rant about Jonathan commissioning those old trains, despite the fact that they long predated his administration. To show you just how stuppid you are, I posted pictures of the modern passenger trains Jonathan brought on stream, which you and your pack of hungry sycophants had tried long and hard to denigrate. Sensing that your folly had been laid bare, you went on a lengthy, baseless lecture about Standard Guage rails like they are the crux of the matter or the issue under review. How you could so aimlessly veer off from the main line of discussion (About taking credit for projects you badmouthed) to start lecturing like a m0ron on an incongruent topic, clearly exposes your bewildering iddiocy. Still think you're disgracing anyone but yourself, boy? Please stay on the freaking topic and stop veering off. You're not fooling anybody.
He keeps going around in circles, throwing insults like he's got some wisdom in his head. FYI, if only you could reason normally without the inordinate urge to abuse your father and entire family like a frustrated person, you should have since gotten the simple message I've been trying to pass which is that contrary to your assertions, the narrow gauge train systems being used before today (which were badmouthed) are different from the standard gauge train system being commissioned today.
I never veered off from any discussion, it's only your brain and comprehension that veered off due to your urge to respond with insults even before reading. I am not responsible for your frustration boy...
Kenai: Your imbecilllity doesn't surprise me one bit, and I anticipated you would go down this lane of iddiocy by choosing to regale me with inanities. The fact of the matter remains that Goodluck Jonathan built those rail lines as well as the new train system you and your motley crew of sycophants are so desperately trying to corner and attribute to your illiterate idol. The very same train system you blasted as locomotives, you're trying to claim today. Thank God there's already a documentary video detailing the revitalisation of the railway which everyone can see. Your attempt at revisionism has FAILED!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKQguakSbQE Watch that video, fast-forwarding all the way to 24:50. It was published on March 20, 2015, and you can see those recent trains as well as the Abuja-Kaduna one your hero wants to claim. You and your fellow sycophants are so pathetic. You are so desperate in your glory hunt to accord your hero with works he had no role in, just to make him look less worthless than he already is. It was this SAME desperation that had his zombies lying and claiming he built 3 REFINERIES! How far naa? Are you still spinning that refinery lie? Bubari's fake glory hunt didn't start today. Boy, kindly look for a quiet corner and sit down. Your revisionist expedition has failed woefully.
Like I have been saying, your lack of knowledge seems self inflicted and you enjoy the bliss of it because that is the only way you can have what to say.
You initially claimed some people who blasted the old death trap trains placed by GEJ on the tracks are now turning around to hail the same trains today. I pointed out to you the difference between standard gauge rails and narrow gauge rails; your brain is still incapable of comprehending the difference.
Then I proceeded to show you an example of the haunted looking archaic trains that were badmouthed as locomotives, you jumped out in shameless denial claiming the picture I posted was a freight train. I proceeded to disgrace you on your lies by proving the trains were indeed passenger trains, then you have now reverted to showing us air-conditioned beautiful looking trains, claiming they are the same thing as those being commissioned today.
The simple question for you is this, the video you posted from 2015, on what kind of tracks do those trains run on?..... modern standard gauge or pre-1960 narrow gauge death traps?.... Also, what is the speed of those 'beautiful trains' you posted?... Trains which take upwards of 35 hours to travel from Lagos to Kano is what someone who claims to be 'smart' wants to compare with standard gauge trains?
Kenai: You and your pack of wretched, penniless lowlives are destined for fates worse than torture and death with the devilish and demonic lies you peddle in public with such sickening glee. You can only fool your fellow praise-singers and mercenaries, but not us. Those trains you posted above long preceded Jonathan, and are known to be used for freight haulage by private construction companies. You are a SHAMELESS nincompoop!
Please, look below for some of the trains brought on board by Jonathsn. Take correction and stop acting a fool.
Sorry boy, you can keep using all the abusive words you know in your dictionary, I would just take it that you are insulting your father... but then, that does not change a fact from being a fact. The first STANDARD GAUGE rail built in Nigeria is the Ajaokuta to warri rail built by OBJ to connect Delta Steel Company Warri and Ajaokuta Steel Company; that line isn't functional yet because the steel companies are still dead.
The second STANDARD GAUGE rail built in Nigeria is this Abuja-Kaduna rail which is being commissioned today as the FIRST commercial use standard rail in Nigeria. All the other trains you have seen (including the one I posted and those 'fine' pictures you posted above) all run on refurbished pre-1960 narrow gauge rails; hence they are pathetically slow (travel time from Lagos to Kano is 2 days) and the trains keep derailing like no man's business.
Like I mentioned earlier, you unfortunately are still ignorant of the difference between the new standard gauge rails and narrow gauge rails; to you, train na train..
Kenai: The 'fuss' about it is that the same monkeys and repulsive savages who were badmouthing the project during GEJ's time (calling the trains rotten locomotives and deathtraps) are the SAME iddiots coming today to praise Buhari for commissioning it. Overnight, the trains have ceased being 'locomotives' and have become 'high-speed trains' simply because their god and saviour Buhari is commissioning it. Boy, do you think we are fools? Do you take the public for gullible puppets?
Who can forget the other day when a rabid Buharist by the name 'LRNZH' created a thread comparing GEJ's trains with the other trains Johannesburg, London and New York, as a way of mocking 'Retardeeen Locomotive'?
Who can forget the week after Buhari was sworn in, when he posed for a photo with some Chinese guy, holding a hi-speed train toy? Remember how his zombies congregated on that thread to denigrate GEJ's "locomotives"?
Guy, we're not foolish around here. Past episodes of imbecilllity from Buhari and his zombies shall be rewarded accordingly in due time.
Boy, stop dancing naked in public. The picture below is a sample of the refurbished pre-1960 narrow gauge trains which were badmouthed as archaic locomotive scraps. In this 21st century, how could anyone be celebrating such refurbished pre-1960 narrow gauge trains?
How dare you try to equate the haunted house above to the latest standard gauge speed trains?.... Sorry boy, Buhari is not commissioning the same nonsense that was badmouthed... Obviously you do not even have a clue on the difference between these new high speed trains and the archaic narrow gauge trains which take 35 hours to crawl from Lagos to Kano.
YouthsPC0: We hope that there will be something done and something to complete when. General Buhari complete his 4 year tenure as President. May God continue to Bless Nigeria!!!!
Kudos to GEJ for building the Kaduna-Abuja rail. Glory must be given to the regime that financed the bulk of the project. But you would be living in unnecessary self denial if you claim OBJ's regime did not initiate the Nigerian Rail Modernisation Projects. At least I remember the original contracts with CCECC were signed as far back as 2006, even though we all know the job was cancelled for review after Yaradua took over.
Kudos also to PMB for seeing that the project was accomplished, and for vehemently insisting against all odds that the other phases of the railway modernisation plan (i.e. Calabar-Lagos-Kano) shall proceed
alade112: I was bashed earlier for commending GEJ They said the Kaduna
Railway project was awarded by President Olusegun Obasanjo,
consolidated by Yar adua, they skipped Gej who completed almost 80% of the project then jumped to buhari who is just fortunate to commission the project
To them buhari start and finish the project within 16months I'm not a fan of Gej nor buhari but acknowledgment should be to the person who deserves it .
The Money used on the project is not their money anyway What we need is an improvement that will add values and benefit to the Society
Kindly point out the person who skipped Jonathan so we can knock the person's head?... If you can't point out anyone, na your head dem go knock tonight.
ezugegere: You god, the El' Dullardeen of Daura budgeted N100b for rail projects in 2016 budget? I hope work has already on those projects because the year is already far spent!
Na siddon look we dey... They've got 3 more years to prove or disprove.
joeyfire: GEJ cancelled Obasanjo's initial plans for a narrow gauge railway line, renegotiated with ccecc and voila the construction of the Abuja-Kaduna line commenced in 2011. Kudos to GEJ mehn. #leavetrashforlawma
Where did you get this ridiculous idea from that the original plan was a narrow gauge?... Who builds a narrow gauge in the 21st century and calls it "Railway Modernisation Plan"?... Why would a standard gauge rail be built from Ajaokuta to Warri as part of the modernisation plan, and then you claim a narrow gauge was planned for Abuja-Kaduna?
adconline: Only if you held your governors accountable because they collected N48 out of every N100 shared with FG. How come Anambra state can pay salaries, but EDO and Osu cant pay without bailout?? Common sense doesn't reside in our realm of thought!!
Thank God you referred to yourself, cos I dont remember ever exonerating any governor from the criticism on bad leadership.
Meanwhile, governors have their responsibilities while the FG has its. In my previous comment I was referring to the FG meeting up with its own responsibilities.
CSTR12: Isn't it a shame that GEJ keep creeping up after 2 years . That is because your old president has not even began to work yet with two years to go. In the US, the only time bush is mentioned is when the iraqi war is being discussed. Obama has out-performed him in a million fold and made a legacy. With 2 years to go, and with the level of mental epilepsy and confusion at the highest level of Nigeria's federal government, i am certain buhari would do nothing or at best little for the reminder of his 2 years, and GEJ's name would keep cropping up.
Government is about continuity. I challenge you to name 10 things which GEJ commissioned during his reign, and I will point out 9 out of the 10 which were started by OBJ or Yaradua. Some people need to just learn to do away with this childish impulsive behaviour of screaming "it is GEJ's project" at the slightest opportunity as if GEJ built it with his personal salary.
Meanwhile just FYI, OBJ initiated this project by signing the contract for it and arranging the loan deal with the Chinese. GEJ eventually released the FG's part of the funds for the project to commence. Total project was valued at about $874m, the Chinese brought $500m, while the FG paid the remaining $374m (roughly N60bn).
May I remind you that out of that ~N60bn which was the FG's share, the old president (who you claim did nothing) had to also pay off a balance of about N18bn in the 2016 budget before the project could be finalised and commissioned today. May I also remind you that that the old president who you claim is doing absolutely nothing is the one who gets to service the Chinese loan which represents almost 60% of the entire project cost. Finally may i also remind you that the old president who you claim is doing nothing has just budgeted over N100bn for the Lagos-Kano and Lagos-Calabar rails in 2016 alone, this amount alone already trumps what GEJ paid for these rails.
Pavarottii: They are not following any policy. Am sure u did basic enough. The higher the demand, the higher the price. And the higher the supply, the lesser the price. So put that equation into the reason why the rice is expensive, then u see that u av been saying rubbish.
It is pointless arguing with someone who lacks basic understanding of anything but only just churns out words emotionally out of the abundance of his prejudiced heart. Apparently in your head, the demand for rice suddenly doubled or tripled overnight as soon as Buhari became president; or sorry, maybe you assume local rice production was totally stopped as soon as Buhari became president, hence the maintained high demand but low supply. Your peculiar wisdom does not think a more than 100% devaluation in the Naira has anything to do with inflation in price of rice (a commodity which Nigeria still imports massively). Mr Man, Kindly wallow in your ignorance... A further response wouldn't be necessary, you win!
Pope22: I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC, I hate APC,
Long overdue.... Peaceful ND states need more of this. I'm yet to understand why Akwa-ibom state doesn't yet have a refinery; if an individual can build a refinery, I wonder why a state like Akwa-Ibom for instance cant secure loans to build a state owned refinery to boost its revenue.
He used this silly approach as GEJ's re-election campaign manager during 2015 election and the approach failed him woefully. He obviously hasn't learnt any lessons.
