madapcmod:The same diamond bank sacked 1000 under your lord and saviour early last year. I'm sure enough of those who lost their jobs last year also voted for transformation; cos their lives were transformed instantly. unngraduate:Lol... I would advise you to take down this thread quickly before more people come in here to witness what an olodo you are. . |
Apparently some people on this thread already think this is money which is remitted to the government. |

Kachikwu is not under investigation – Buhari decries blackmail of senior government officialshttp://dailypost.ng/2016/07/19/kachikwu-not-investigation-buhari-decries-blackmail-senior-government-officials/ Toxic politics is being played in Nigeria presently with the use of the media. Every 'fairy' today is now an independent news 'source' spreading fake news and propaganda to heat up an already heated polity. cc: agabaI23 Abi I no talk am... ![]() |
The unemployment in the land is serious. |
Nigerian media men and women need serious flogging. Unfortunately in this internet generation and with people like Linda Ikeji buying houses in the Banana republic, everybody now wants to be a blogger/newsman/independent reporter/saharareporter/premiumtimes, hence we have to keep putting up with fake news everyday. |
agabaI23:Lol... well, it's not true. |
A long trail of wailing and tantrum throwing will adorn this thread, but I'm sure there will be no evidence still. ![]() |

How many times would this old story be floated to the front page? |

Divisive news report... I can bet my last dime this is just fake news twisted by some divisive persons to suit propaganda purposes; meanwhile the plan is working already. But the real story will surface before the week runs out. |

The unemployment situation in Nigeria is really a time bomb. ![]() |
There's nothing strange about this development. Everything in Nigeria is tied to politics, even issues which ordinarily should have nothing to do with politics are usually influenced by partisan sentiments. The niger-delta activists all went dumb during the reign of GEJ, even though we all know GEJ did nothing for the region during his presidency. Similarly we had cases of policemen arresting, incarcerating and even killing massob members some years back under GEJ, but we never heard any uproar from anyone in the SE cos the politics in Abuja appeared to be favourable. Similarly there were countless number of fulani herdsmen strikes and clashes with communities in the middlebelt region and in some cases, in the upper parts of the SE; there was never an uproar against the government for the same obvious reasons not until May 29th 2015, and then we all remembered there was some menace in existence called fulani herdsmen. Furthermore, during the time of GEJ, northern youths raised a lot of dust over even the most meaningless things, today worse things are happening but they've all gone cold and dumb. Can someone please imagine what would have happened had it been that the zaria shiite massacre happened under GEJ?... Hell would have been let lose and the northerners who are mainly sunnis would have remembered that even the shiites are still their brothers and sisters. Now the SW which has always championed the cause of restructuring seems to have also gone mute, the reasons are obvious, its the abuja political sentiment. In summary, the fact is that when people make a loud uproar against a perceived injustice, the driving force most times is usually politics; when the politics in Abuja appears to favour a group, the group tends to sheath their swords. |

ShitHead:Wetin concern Oby Ezekwesili and this appointment? ... You guys should just put yourselves together and put this Jonathan's loss behind you already. |
Love Machine:This is not the first time we're hearing of hundreds of suspects being released after being cleared; this isn't also going to be the last. What this trend tells me is that a large number of people (much more innocent ones than the guilty) are held in military custody for months and years (without trial); this shouldn't be surprising for anyone who is truly a Nigerian. You are jumping the board by assuming the people being released are the guilty ones; with what the military has gone through in the hands of BH, I dont need a soothsayer to tell me our equally blood thirsty soldiers would happily slit the throats of the confirmed guilty ones before any form of trial or whatever. |
Love Machine:And how are you sure it is the ones who strapped explosives that have just been released?... Just the same way soldiers jumped into Oporoza and started arresting people indiscriminately in their search for Tompolo, does that make the people arrested guilty? |
Love Machine:Are you 100% sure these released guys are the murderers?... Are you new to Nigeria?... Are you new to the mode of operation of Nigeria's security operatives where they just drive into a community and arrest every living thing (including livestock)? Here is a thread which sprung up this morning about security operatives arresting a large number of male and female criminals in Calabar; can you stake even a measly N100 that up to 5% of these people in the photos are criminals? https://www.nairaland.com/3232096/photos-men-women-arrested-calabar |

uuceemillz:Can you kindly point out the verses where this was explained?.... from my own little understanding of the tithing law in Deutronomy, it says the tithes should be paid every 3rd year and it should be a tenth of the increase in that same year (i.e. the 3rd year) and it should be given to the levites, widows, orphans, stranger etc. I'm not sure I understand your own explanation of 'first year to priests, second year to widows' etc |
