iambic:Very silly question... my papa na train driver? |
Pavarottii:That Nigeria's rice production is increasing does not mean that Nigeria has yet attained rice sufficiency. Nigeria still imports large part of the rice it consumes till date.. It takes forex to import rice and you know the price of the dollar today due to the oil saga. A smart person should be able to connect the dots and understand why the price of rice is higher today owing to the price of forex. Back to our original discussion before you deviated to price of rice, we were talking of local rice production and you accused the present govt of not sustaining the gains of Adesina. Kindly throw more light into that allegation... |
The last comment there is the most valid. A man is not a toy pony that a girl snatches from another, the man walked with both legs to this gurl, zipped down, inserted his sim card and downloaded vital life data. The man is to blame. |
Pavarottii:You claimed the present govt couldnt at least sustain the gains of Adesina, I asked you to give me evidence of a decrease in rice production for example to back your allegation, now you are returning my question to me. Fact is that more investors have recently come into the rice production business, anambra rice is expanding, ebonyi rice is expanding, the recent Lagos+Kebbi joint venture signed early this year has given a mega boost to rice production and the government recently bragged that Nigeria would comfortably meet its rice demand and stop all importation by early 2018. That doesnt seem to me like a situation which is on a decline. |
bayelsaowei:Okay.. 2019 is around the corner, I'm sure Nigerians will do the needful. |
bayelsaowei:Go back and read your previous comment, you are the one who tried to compare the woman with Buhari. But now you know she wasnt the president. You started by insulting the president that he cant think beyond oil, I only reminded you that it was too early to pass such judgement. After only 1 year, if you think buhari is so useless in terms of thinking only about oil, then the past regime was 5 times more useless for also also thinking about only oil and putting the nation in its present predicaments. |
Pavarottii:Show me one evidence that Adesina s policies have been abandoned? The last time I checked, even local rice and wheat production is on the increase. |
IstandWitBuhari:Another highly pained jonathanian who still hasnt recovered more than a year later. Let Wike try to also move around without security so we can know how loved he is. |
bayelsaowei:You just accused the mallam of not diversifying after spending only 1 year in a famine. But you praise and worship the ones who spent 16 years (of which the last 7 years was characterised with plenty), but they kept depending solely on 1 product (oil) and couldnt do anything to diversify. They couldnt even build a single modular refinery or at least repair the old ones. They also spent 16 years without doing anything to restructure; meanwhile out of these 16 years, NOI was minister for up to 12 years; and some smart ass now thinks the mallam is bad for not diversifying in 1 year, even though NOI has just pointed out that it took Dubai 30 years to diversify and get to where it is today. With the above, do you still think that thing you wrote up there makes any bit of sense?... It might probably make enough sense for people within your level of reasoning, enough sense for you to get some like minds toss a few 'likes' at you. |
Haryohdeji:What hardship? The one created by the same pdp? Your pdp couldnt diversify the economy or save in 16 years of plenty. Now the prophesied years of famine has come, and you want to throw the blame on the new pharaoh for lack of food in the barns, you want an instant miracle in one year....... Go and ask your pdp who kept pocketing billions of dollars through their fuel import cronies but refused to build even if its a single modular refinery in 16 years, they should be able to spare u some cups of kero. |

@Op you have absolutely no point; you dont have to be ashamed of saying the truth, the only reason you and others hate Rochas with a passion is because he joined APC which booted your GEJ out, be vold and say the truth. No 1, you claim he isnt paying workers: we all know the reason why there are hitches in paying workers. Its the same reason why 27 states cannot pay workers, but you dont show even a tenth of this hatred to the other pdp governors. No 2, You claim he isnt fixing roads?... But the fact is that he has fixed more roads in 5 years than udenwa and ohakim did in 12 years combined; yet you show no hatred to those men but hate rochas. You just posted the picture of a bad looking Nekede-Ihiagwa FEDERAL ROAD as your reason for hating Rochas, meanwhile you love GEJ sooo much even though you cant point out a single road which GEJ built in Imo state or anywhere in the SE. Lest I forget, you also do not share the same animosity towards ohakim or udenwa for not fixing the same ihiagwa-nekede road. See confusion! No 3, you show a dirty picture of Douglas road; since after the reign of Sam Mbakwe in 1983, can you please show us a single clean picture of the market at douglass?.... You do not share this same animosity towards udenwa or ohakim, you do not even have a tenth of the animosity you have for rochas towards TA Orji, yet you say cleanliness of owerri is your reason for hating rochas. Seriously confused haters living in massive self denial! ![]() |

omenka:Vast experience and a field Marshal in bullet/ missile taking ![]() Barca had to surrender and apologise after he stepped on the nerves of the ferocious ipob ewarriors. Little miss Adaure4ever has just retraced her steps barely 24 hours after her attempt to battle the tigers ![]() Only God knows what she's been through in the past 24hrs for her to hurriedly come up with this solidarity thread ![]() |
Adaure4ever:You guys are just so damn naive kids, you just swallowed every loaf of bread nnamdi threw out... You really think those big countries that supported Nigeria against biafra in 1967 are now in support of biafra seceeding?... You really believe that nnamdi has been able to secure international allies for ipob as he mentioned in those his broadcasts? Or you really think Ijaw militants are willing to fight alongside ipob against the rest of Nigeria?... Have you even bothered to ask typical Niger deltans what they feel or what they want before you just assumed that Niger deltan militant will just pick their arms and start fighting Nigeria in a meaningless war? |
Ugomba:Nobody is dividing Nigeria, it is not going to happen no matter how much you wish for it. Just like Nnamdi kanu mentioned once, no nation divides without war, and nobody is ready to fight any war for some silly reasons. Keep dreaming of secession. |
malcomvee:Oh so the plan is to force Buhari to resign?... something you know he will never do. Or probably the plan is to make 180 million Nigerians suffer so badly through hellish conditions for the next 3 years so they can vote Buhari out by 2019?... meanwhile these 180 million people include your family, friends and yourself... You must be a very wise son of your father and community. |
Adaure4ever:Restructuring Nigeria is the way forward to knock all the other 5 parasitic zones to wake up from their decades long slumber. However, do not let any of the deceiving charlatans get you deceived. The problem of Nigeria is a problem of the rich elite rulers vs the rest; the problem isn't an issue of any particular tribe or ethnicity or region oppressing anyone else. If you take a trip around Nigeria, you would realise all regions of Nigeria are equally victims of this mess. The last time I checked, every state gets its allocations as at when due and oil producing states get marginally more than others in the form of 13% derivation, Niger Delta ministry funds, NDDC funds etc. The only reason there is still massive poverty in these areas is because of rogue useless leadership, not because of some northerners like has been peddled in several quarters lately. Forget the stories you hear of northerners owning oil blocks, these are just individuals and guess what? true ownership of oil blocks actually spreads across the major tribes in Nigeria. The problem has always been rich elite rulers (from all zones) against the poor. |
Okikiki:Just so you know, I wasn't attempting to answer your question and I wasn't trying to glorify electoral malpractices. I was only just expressing my amusement at the irony of PDP youths lamenting the negative effects of their own creation. |
temptnow:You mean by the time you deal with Nigerians?..... If the government keeps losing money in this manner, it would end up paying only salaries by the time the year ends, no capital projects would be executed, construction and other workers will keep losing jobs, businesses will continue to die, the economy will continue to sink. How could any human be this dull to think that by sabotaging the lives of 180million people, they are punishing Buhari who sits comfortable in his house? |
Okikiki:If you ask me na who I go ask?... KArma is a biatch, the message below will give you an insight to your concerns. kahal29: |
Davvymavvy:The silence may be loud, but what you see is purely a case of people just minding their businesses, living their lives and not bothering themselves with what goes on in government. Empty vessels usually make the loudest noise; the people you mostly see rejoicing over the blowing of pipelines and sabotaging of the nation's economy are just empty vessels whose loud voices drown every other voice around making it seem like that is the opinion of the majority. These people are not anywhere close to the majority, they are mostly not even Niger Deltans but just a few daft ones amongst the secessionists who keep praying for evil to befall Nigeria. If you follow their comments very well you will realise it is just the same set of few individual making those comments on this forum, they dont represent the majority. |
For 16 years PDP punished Nigerians with this very mess; so I find this very very amusing seeing PDP weep and gnash their teeth as they are being paid back in their own coin. Lest I forget, the usual statement of PDP is "go to court if you are aggrieved" ![]() |
Davvymavvy:I dont think I've come across any single Akwa-Ibomite who is cheering the blowing up of pipelines. |
NwaNimo1:This was the way they also sang that Buhari can never be president in Nigeria. |
Chaii... some guys are way too soft and calm... Dude is way way too gentle ![]() |
This is happening after some have already killed themselves for these parties. The time has come when blood oath has to be taken to join political parties; at least it would make some people look less stuupid when they kill themselves for politicians and parties. |
RareDiamonds:Go impeach am make we see.. ![]() |
AustineE1:The amiable GEJ did worse to Amaechi, to Adm. Nyako of Adamawa and almost did the same to Oshiomole and even Speaker Tambuwal when he decamped to APC. - 16>19 is still fresh in our minds. - Save for APC Reps who had to ridicule themselves by defying tear-gas and scaling the complex fence, Tambuwal would have been booted out as speaker by the amiable and NON-VINDICTIVE GEJ through some of the most despicable manner. Even the speaker himself wasn't spared from the teargas, he cried like a baby, but to some, GEJ was an amiable gentle man then but Buhari is now 'MOST VINDICTIVE' - We wouldnt forget in a hurry how 5 members of the Rivers state HOA led by Evans Bipi storming the complex with cultists, beating up and chasing away 27 pro-amaechi lawmakers, impeaching the speaker while he was locked outside and having the grand plan to impeach amaechi. If not for the timely intervention of Amaechi who stormed the complex with his security, and the severe beating which some of the 5 honorable holigans received from the likes of Chidi Lloyd, Amaechi would have been impeached in the most disgraceful show of shame orchestrated by GEJ. We have not forgotten that madness. Similar thing happened to Adm. Nyako, his personal accounts were frozen even whilst he was still governor under immunity, in fact the entire state funds were frozen, Adamawa lawmakers were blackmailed to impeach both the governor and his deputy; I guess GEJ was being non-vindictive in some people's dictionary. Then we had exactly the same scenario in edo state but lawmakers loyal to Oshio took off their shirts and fought it to a standstill. |
Judging by Dankwambo's 'reported' stellar achievements in Gombe state, if there's the remotest chance that PDP can unseat APC in 2019, then Dankwambo is their only chance. |

What's the man saying about the restructuring of the country
