PoliticsRe: Arms Scam: Probe Dambazau, Buratai, Ex-military Officers Tell Buhari by obailala(m): 9:25am On Jul 16, 2016
Dambazau specifically needs to be investigated, I never really liked that man. I remember back then when he was an integral member of the Turai kitchen cabinet that almost literally rubbed shit on the face Goodluck during the Yaradua sickness saga. It's a known fact that all top Nigerian military chiefs are stinkingly corrupt, but I can only imagine the fortunes people like Damborobber made within those few months when they kept playing Ludo on poor GEJ's head.

@Op..
I totally doubt a renown and respectable writer like Cyprain Ekwensi would just pick-up and copy a book 100% without some form of acknowledgement or proper agreement with the original author. Besides if Cyprain plagiarised the book, we wouldn't be hearing about this case for the first time in 2016, a dispute would have been raised decades ago.

lol u got jokes.....so the igbos would pledge support for any serious movement that gives them Biafra or the N'Deltans would wait and support any movement that gives them resource control BEFORE taking any steps themselves. So u ar saying MB wont do jack FOR THEMSELVES until others start doing it for them....dats interesting.

Again it appears u dont know them. Is it not joseph waku a prominent MB leader who derides d aspiration of the Niger delta and made disparaging remarks abt their quest for resource control. Waku is a founding member of arewa consultative forum. As a Benue indigene his reaction to fulani herdsmen attacks is perfunctory at best while he reserves his energy to attack N'Deltans and others whose aspirations dont align with dat of North.
Waku is one man.

These people u are defending at one time or another where championing interesets of d core north.
Naa.. you got it so wrong; the middlebelt championing the cause of the core north was donkey decades ago, they would pledge support to any 'serious' movement that can liberate them from the domination of the core north. Do I even need to remind you of the menace of the herdsmen in the middle-belt?... Do you know for how long they have endured the marauding herdsmen alone without the massacres getting any media attention till lately?... In terms of farming and food production, the MB is a leader; in terms of solid minerals, the MB is also over blessed. I have no doubt in my mind that should there be any serious movement pushing for regionalism, the MB would be fully in support.

Unfortunately we've never had any serious movement pushing for proper federalism except for some leaders paying lip service (to deceive the masses) and then the southern masses (especially the youths) fighting each other foolishly (e.g. SW vs SE online and offline battles).

How will you get true federalism in Nigeria? You need 2 thirds to pass a bill in the NASS on true federalism. The core North are totally against it and they have the largest voting block in Nigeria. Where will the 2 thirds come from? Even if all the southern reps at the NASS voted for true federalism, they won't get even up half the votes needed to push it through. As far as Nigeria is concerned, true federalism is a dead issue.
You keep lumping the geographical area called North Central into tour description of the north. But you need to understand that the typical man from Benue, Kogi, Kwara and Plateau would be very happy to break away from the domination of the core Hausa-Fulani north. The only reason why the north central hasnt declared this is because they are waiting for the politically naive and confused southern zones to get their acts together and speak with one voice on the issue of regional governments. The thing stopping Nigeria from returning to regional govts isnt the north as is always alleged; the only thing stopping the return of regionalism is the foolishness of the southern zones to speak with one voice on the issue.

I've personally noticed something peculiar to the Redeemed Christian church of God which I am not comfortable with. The Bible warns that we should not give chance for people to question our faith our unity in the body of Christ. In other churches, like deeper life, chosen, mountain on fire etc state and regional pastorship have always been of people of different tribes as the case may be,

But it's not so with in Redeemed Christian Church of God were MOST (not ALL about (86%)). of their regional / state pastors are most Yoruba's in almost every state in nigeria. Is it that the people mostly trusted to be Good pastors to handle that PARTICULAR POSITION are from one particular tribe? This is what is happening currently in our Government. Please, constructive criticism no tribalism.

you are making a huge mess of yourself! Who have been making the xenophobic and hate speech? What about Oba? Dr junaid? Ooh those people have immunity right? Coward!
As for those living outside southeast you mean the likes of joe igbokwe and you ofcourse? Or those that take humour in regarding south easterners "igbotic"? That will never invest in east but elsewhere? You mean people that will sing how things are cheap and life easy in the north? They are verily on their own! Fyi my dad is among them! So you know!!!
I never exonerated those you mentioned of making hate speeches against Igbos. But you and I know the basis of ipob's campaign is purely on hate and xenophobia, and it was/is on a major scale and that is totally senseless. And again like I said, knowing fully well that no tribe is as widely travelled as igbos, Igbos have always been the victims when things go sour.

By the way the bolded part of your comment, do I smell some form of inferiority complex?... What do you mean by "those that take humour in regarding south easterners igbotic"?... And you intend to do what about that?.. increase the number of killings?... Just like NK said and I quote "If 3 million Igbos died in the war of the 60's, Igbos should be ready to lose up to 7-8million in the coming war of freedom." Sorry boy, if you are willing to go sacrifice your family for a Cause which is totally not defined but which is purely driven by emotions of one flimsy election loss, then I'm sorry, no reasonable Igbo man will join you in that, but goodluck in your endeavours! I am only worried about the consequence of your indiscretions on millions of Igbos who are not given to your cause and who just want to live their lives peacefully.

They were defeated killed and vanished from the geographical location! that is what you are preaching to us to do! We should become cold so that we will be ambushed by fulanis! It won't work! We must have our country, where every soul must be protected from the blood tasty lanky baboons from sahara! I'm not going wait till it gets to my family member before I stand out!
Okay goodluck then. But as you continue in the gra-gra campaigns, kindly tone down on the abuses, hate, xenophobia, intolerance and tribalism and try to infuse some mature diplomacy because you know when others reciprocate against Igbos, peaceful Igbos are usually the highest victims especially as we have more Igbos living outside the SE zone than other tribes living in the SE.

So my friend, you asked me why people hate Igbos and why this has been the case for a long time and the answer to that question is above.

Actions are what determine attributes and not rhetoric. An enemy who abuses you and still feeds you with delicacy is not actually an enemy but an unwilling friend

Characters are manifestation of a people not words. Delaila killed Sampson after confessing so much love.

Tell us what actions we indulged to support your accusations.
Like I said earlier, the words brew unnecessary hatred and resentment against Igbos from other Nigerians thereby endangering the lives and businesses of millions of well meaning Igbos living and doing their businesses across Nigeria.

Words are like 2-edged swords, unguarded words are capable of attracting needless calamity. If I threaten you that I'm going to burn your house or kill your children, you wouldn't wait for me to carry out the threat physically before you mark me out as an enemy that has to be attacked. This is common sense, so your talk about 'actions and not rhetorics' is baseless.

You are as evil as Abagworo for the singular act of supporting savagery against a people who neither kill nor destroy public infrastructure in their quest for self determination.

Must Ndigbo support Northern Nigeria?

Previously before 2011, other ethnic/regional champions said the problem of the Igbos is disunity in politics hence should be marginalised but today their Unity is becoming a nightmare to Nigeria even without shedding of blood or vandalization of State infrastructure.

What do you want from Ndigbo? Our Freedom as free citizens is non negotiatiable and nobody or government can cow us into submission. We are free thinkers, self-made and not dependents or slaves like others who got no choice.
Get yourself out of your emotions, nobody says you have to like anybody. If you must campaign for self determination, it has to be civil, diplomatic, well-thought and totally not in the NK way which serves no other purpose than to brew more hatred toward Igbos and endanger the lives and businesses of Igbos living comfortably in different parts of Nigeria.

God forbid me being an evil man as you loosely choose to allege (purely out of uncontrollable emotions of anger); the last thing I would do in my life is wish evil upon anyone. I challenge you to point out where on this forum or anywhere else that I have wished evil on any one.

Igbos were not like this until Jonathan lost in 2015. In as much as there existed normal ethnic clashes it never got to this level of staking their lives and properties across Nigeria. As things stand now we are quite close to a repeat of 1967 where the rest of the country will once again unite against innocent Igbos brainwashed with propaganda and acting out of ignorance. And just like 1967 most of the anti-Nigerian Igbos still habour a false belief of oneness with SS and will once again believe it's betrayal when SS dissociates themselves.
Jonathan losing the election really shifted a major balance in the emotions and judgement of a lot of people; Nnamdi Kanu then stepped in just at the right time and consolidated the shift, thereby raking in a multitude of adherents from the teeming population of disgruntled ones. The barbaric Nigerian armed forces shooting innocent protesters tilted the scale further and attracted lots of sympathy pledges. But the fact remains that without proper diplomacy and a well thought plan for their cause, what these group of disgruntled people can only achieve is a large number of new enemies for peaceful Igbos living across Nigeria. No reasonable decision can ever be made in time of high emotions; most of the 'hardcore' agitators are either emotion-driven, youngsters who are still spoon fed, struggling people, or just people who don't live outside the east and who don't give a damn about the safety of millions of Igbos living outside the SE. *insults are welcome*
