MightyD:Leave youths to continue their daily feeding duty by using guns to rob people right?... Just like the myopic northerners supported BH until BH became out of control monsters and engulfed them. You say nothing happened to pipelines when youths were guiding them?... You never heard of the 400,000 barrels per day oil theft which happened in the last 5 years and which even forced Shell to close operations and leave Delta state completely?... 400,000barels/day is same as $40million/day and $1.2billion/month and $14.4billion per year. Multiply that by 5 and you get $72billion lost in 5 years under the brilliant youth/militant contract of pipeline protection and you think nothing was wrong with that? Or probably you assume the money lost were lost to Niger-Deltans (who own the oil) so therefore it is okay. But may I remind you that the biggest players in the oil bunkering game are mainly from the north and south-west and those Niger-delta youths/militants are only paid peanuts like slaves for polluting their own environment but of course, for some weird reason, you think this is okay. ..And finally, you call the arrest of criminals tribalism?.. No comments! ![]() |
wordcat:You speak as if you are certainly sympathetic to some of the criminals due to ethnic sentiments but I can assure you this is a very wrong application of ethnic sentiments or brotherhood. How can you possibly support and defend the miscreants who terrorise your own people all because they are from your region?... What you have just said sounds like, "why should the police only arrest the robbers operating in my neighbourhood?... what about the robbers operating in other neighbourhoods?" If I have armed robbers operating in my village, I would be happier if the police attends to the robbers operating in my village first before any others. I wonder why this simple logic doesn't apply in the bigger picture, or maybe we are all myopic and are incapable of seeing the big picture. If the militants in the creeks are allowed to grow into uncontrollable monsters (just like BH was allowed), who would suffer more from their menace?... Isn't it the same Niger-Deltans (the innocent ones of course)?... I remember early 2009 when militancy was at its peak. Travellers going along the east-west road from warri to PH were continuously harassed and robbed by militants in broad day light and nobody, not the police nor army could do anything about it. The question I ask is, "who uses the east-west road more?... Isn't it the southeasterners and innocent niger-deltans?" ...Just go to Warri today and ask Agofure bus drivers who ply that route most to explain to you their experiences in 2008/2009. Anyway, just for your information, the army has not pulled out of the NE. As a matter of fact, army HQ has only just been moved to the NE to boost the fight against the northern terrorists. You may have not heard of any military bombings of BH recently but that is because BH forces and camps have already been decimated by the military operations which took place prior to the elections. What is left in the fight in the NE is to fish out the remaining BH fighters carrying out isolated suicide bombings. |

All criminals should be brought to their knees. We cannot continue to live in a jungle nation where criminals reign supreme. North, east, west or south, criminals should never be celebrated or allowed to exist for any reason, be it political, ethnic or religious. A lot of misguided and myopic Nigerians are presently defending and glorifying miscreants all for the sake of ethnicity, I laugh at this pure case of foolishness and quick amnesia. Remember this was exactly how myopic and illiterate northerners were supporting Bokoharam because they believed BH was killing Christians and destabilising GEJ's government. Not until BH grew into an uncontrollable monster and started consuming their own people before the people realised their collective folly. Now I see the more educated and enlightened southerners about to repeat the same dumb cycle of the northerners by referring to sea pirates/kidnappers/robbers/bunkerers/rapist as 'innocent people' all because the president is from the north. Flets: barcanista: eagleeye2: omolami: atiakatata: TheFreeOne:If subsidy is removed today, there would be protests, but the protest wouldn't come anywhere close to the 2012 #OccupyNigeria protests for several reasons: 1. Fuel currently sells above 120 across the country and it's still scarce in certain locations. Even if subsidy removal pushes the price up to 130 or 140 (wouldn't be up to this amount due to low crude prices), the impact and shock wouldn't be felt as much as the N65 to N142 inflation. 2. In 2012, GEJ's government told Nigerians that a group of people were collecting subsidy but were not importing products. Since the government was too weak to arrest or punish or even check the excesses of these few people (friends of the government), they decided to remove subsidy which consequently pushed pump price from N65 to N142. That was a very silly reason by all standards, hence Nigerians rejected it in its entirety. If Nigerians had even just a little confidence in the government of GEJ to tackle the fraudulent cabal, half of the people who came out to protest wouldn't have hit the road. 3 years later, those same cabals are still free men living large and flying around in private jets. There goes the exact reason Nigerians never trusted the government. 3. In 2012, the government of GEJ appealed to Nigerians to tighten their belts and accept an over 105% increase in fuel prices. The government also promised to use the monies saved from removal of fuel subsidy to develop Nigeria. Nigerians simply did not trust the government to keep their words because the government then was known for unprecedented extravagance and corruption. This is not the case of the present government because apart from GEJ supporters, everyone else (Nigerian majority) knows the present leader is less extravagant, less corrupt and certainly more trustworthy. So this absolutely has nothing to do with hypocrisy. Nigerians did not protest in 2012 because they didnt like GEJ. Several other clear reasons fuelled the 2012 protests and it would certainly be a different ball game if the present government attempts the same subsidy removal stunt today. |
AgapeCharis:Did you say I am blinded by hatred?..lol For a second, put aside the Jonathanian sentiments blocking your judgement and listen to yourself. There's a saying that "when a man begins to think everyone else in the community has gone mad, he should check himself closely" Have you ever wondered why it is only die-hard Jonathan supporters that always see the "film trick" you keep alleging?... You sincerely believe the whole world is crazy and being deceived by APC with a staged war in the NE but only Jonathan supporters are wise enough to see the truth? Very soon you will also claim that all the people being killed by BH in the NE are also stage managed?... People are dying and going through hell everyday in the NE, men women and kids, yet your blind love for GEJ has twisted your mind to feel it's all a conspiracy theory. It's not your fault, humans are naturally evil hearted when it doesnt concern them. Maybe if you had a relative who's a victim of the terror in the NE, that sentimental log would fall off your eyes. |
AgapeCharis:Are you suggesting the Nigerian army that raided several bokoharam camps, freed the captives and showed the freed captives to the world are also a part of your alleged nollywood movie?... Remember the freeing of those 600+ captives was done by the NA under GEJ's regime. If you say the Nigerian army under GEJ staged those episodes for APC, I suppose the Nigerian Air force also staged the aerial videos of the bombardments of BH camps and those videos of fleeing BH fighters were also staged the same day those captives were released right? Well, I have no words for you and all your co-travellers. But just wait for the day your loved one would be kidnapped and then people come online and tell you it was staged. You will surely remember these your words. |
porka:I'm not saying they are chibok girls, I'm only just drawing attention to similar atrocities by the terrorists which have been confirmed. For example, if a confirmed serial rapist in Borno is accused of raping a girl in a Borno village called Chibok, can you give me one reason why I should doubt the story? |
Positiveminds:What about the over 600 women and teenage girls that the Nigerian army freed from captivity after they destroyed bokoharam camps in the weeks before the elections?... Are they also scam? |
kayode27:My apologies too |
kayode27:Original report has just been modified and corrected by the Op. The original post which had no source stated that the principal was a man. |
Utchgirl:Original report has now been modified and corrected by the Op. My post can now be ignored. Gracias! ![]() |
Utchgirl:Chibok principal was a woman?... "Na only u waka come" was a woman. It only takes a dumb person to be easily fooled by a dumb person. The Op is a dumb person, so what are you?... Dont let yourself to be fooled by agents of darkness Modified: Original report has now been modified and corrected. This post can be ignored. |
TANoids / Jonathanians have just turned the Chibok principal to a transgendered!!! The principal used to be a woman, now the person in the report is a man. I have always said it that Jonathan supporters are made up of the dumbest and silliest humans on the planet yet they keep arguing. Modified: Original report has now been modified and corrected. This post can be ignored. |
Idiotic jonathanians trying to incite trouble but they are too damn silly to know a sensible way to go about it. 350 killed indeed. Abeg who are those women? |
wirinet:I am not related to Bruce but of course I am very angry at the response he is getting from Nigerians for attempting to be on the side of the masses. This is a man who has a choice to simply join his fellow elites and bleed the nation but he is presently making attempts to challenge the conscience of his colleagues. Instead of being encouraged, he is being severely bashed from all sides with a barage of insults per second. This is the exact reason why good men never bother to join politics and even the few that join eventually join the diabolics after they are crucified by the same people they think they are trying to defend. Now I am not saying Ben is a good man but at least he is attempting to be one here and should be encouraged (not crucified) if he must succeed in his new found good cause. I hope you get my anger?... Nigerians need to identify who their real enemies are and stop attacking bystanders. As for your talk on ideas, 2 weeks is too early for him to start divulging his plans. You need to be patient. |
...and I keep wondering, what would have been the fate of Nigeria if GEJ was allowed to continue his transformtion till 2019? God truly loves us more than we love ourselves. |
wirinet:The NASS was inaugurated barely 2 weeks ago and there's been no sitting since the inauguration. Yet you are here judging a man for not introducing any bills in this 2 weeks old assembly that has not sat?.. Are you for real? You know when you begin to 'hate' on a person, you begin to make ridiculously irrational criticisms of the person's every move such as what you are doing presently. Hate just like anger are 2 sides of a coin; when you are angry with or when you hate a person, you can hardly make rational decisions or judgements. Promising to donate wardrobe allowance or never flying first class (even when he can afford it), I do not see anything wrong in both statements and they are even none of my business. However, these irrelevant things have sparked a sharp resentment in you towards the man. I'm sorry to say but that is called 'hating' because your reasons are irrational. FYI, no hater every agrees that they hate; as a matter of fact, 'haters' genuinely do not know when they start 'hating' and I believe that is your case presently. |
wirinet:The 24million I mentioned was the alleged wardrobe allowance. When he was told on twitter that they would recieve that amount (24m), he said he wasnt aware of such obscene payment but promised that if paid, he would donate the cash (24m) to the workers of Osun state as relief, just like some others have been donated food items. Donating the cash as relief is not the same as offsetting the wage bill of the state. He never said he was planning to pay off the salaries of all Osun workers and he was never referring to 500,000naira when he made the statement. I don't know where you are getting these weird ideas from. I do not know why you have decided to hate this man so much as if he is the worst leader ever in Nigeria. It's really pathetic that Nigerians do not know who their real enemies are. Okay, the man has said he doesnt fly first class, so what is the big deal if he flies business?... Did he tell you or anyone that he doesnt fly business class?... Are you even slightly aware of the massive difference between first class and businness? |
BMedia:It completely beats my imagination why these elements cannot see beyond their nose to realise that it is indeed a good thing if the criminals in thier domain are eliminated first. |
Lol.. ![]() Every state seems to be rejecting the siting of a nuclear plant in their domain. Isn't it supposse to bring jobs and revenue? ![]() Truth is, Nigeria has absolutely no business harnessing nuclear energy except we want to annihilate ourselves. We have several other viable options for power generation. |
NellyGhenghen:What did you find out?.... Did he say he doesn't fly business class?... Are you aware there's a huge difference between business and first class? Nigerians never know who our real enemies are. This is the exact reason why good men never bother to join politics in Nigeria because they would be ostracised, blackmailed and punished by their evil peers, then the masses whom they think they are trying to defend would crucify them. |
redsquare:Can you kindly shut up and point out to me where Bruce said he flies only economy?... How does "I dont fly first class" equate to "I fly only economy class"?... Aren't you aware there's something inbetween called business class? Why are we like this in Nigeria?... we never know who our real enemies are but we are always comfortable demonising the few who stand up for us. This is the exact reason why good men/women never bother to join politics in Nigeria because they would be ostracised, blackmailed and punished by their evil peers, then the masses whom they try to defend would crucify them. Did you say Bruce wrecked NTA when he was DG?... Are you for real or are you just trying hard to sound silly? ![]() |
The man said he doesn't fly first class. Now he is seen in business class. How is this supposed to be a lie?... What am I missing here? |
babajero:Which other freedom do we need to produce this?... Innoson is already doing something similar. Give us power supply, give us reasonable governors/leaders in the southeast and give us a functional sea-port and you will see things like this being actualised easily. |
shaddoww:So if he wanted to help the ordinary people, what should he have joined?... ogboni? or maybe open a church? |
wirinet:1. When he made the pledge to donate his allowance to Osun workers, he was referring to the originally alleged amount of 24million naira. 2. Donating allowance doesnt mean offsetting the allowance of all Osun workers. 3. Business class and first class are very different things (although I agree the brag about "not flying 1st class" was unnecessary) Cut the man some slack but if at least you want to criticise, do so with the right info. |
darmys:THis is business class, not first class. They are clearly not the same things, but obviously, a lot of people have no idea. |
