Ojiofor:
can you explain how my motive is ethnic motivated since I am neither from Calabar nor from middle belt?
And can you keep ethnicity out of our discussion because what we are discussing here is national security not my ethnicity nor your ethnicity.
And lastly I believe that attacking miscreants as you called them with bomb is like killing mosquito with a sledge hammer.
Bombs are not cheap, if the military decides to use bombs to kill mosquitos, then they must have some very good reasons which are not known to you and I.

When it comes to national security, the miscreants in the south, the miscreants in the west and the terrorists in the north should all be a source of concern to any reasonable person or govt. No responsible govt should sit back and watch little miscreants grow into uncontrollable monsters. The govt of GEJ used kid gloves on the northern terrorists, that's why they grew into monsters. Now you advocate for the govt of PMB to leave pirates operating in Calabar waterways because you think Bokoharam should be a bigger priority?... Who told you the govt is presently not doing anything about BH?

Then again you try to deny the obvious ethnic sentiments in your arguments, but you should know you are not talking to a kid. Whether you know it or not (you may not know genuinely), your argument is fueled by ethnic sentiments. From the tone of your arguments, you are clearly outraged that the govt of an "Hausa man" is bombing criminals in the SS hence you asked the questions below:
Ojiofor:
When are they going to bomb fulani herdsmen who have been killing innocent farmers and their families in MB?
Fulani herdmen are the most dangerous sadistic terrorist group in Nigeria today after BH.
The question is,when is buhari going to bomb his kinsmen?.
You are clearly outraged that southern miscreants are bombed but wonder when northern miscreants would be bombed too. I do not need a sixth sense to sniff out the ethnic sentiments in your arguments, please stop denying the obvious.

There is no need going round in circle.I asked a simple question and you responded with another epistle.we can continue after you have answered my questions.
You asked when the military would start bombing the killer herdsmen in the north?.. I do not have an answer to your question but I was only responding to the obvious ethnic motive that motivated you to ask the question. But don't you think the people of the middle belt should worry more about that?

Ojiofor:
Mr Wisdom, what did you say when buhari called boko haram his brothers,? Between the miscreants in the creeks and the herdsmen who are gradually committing ethnic cleansing in middle belt who deserves the bombs more?btw,I don't support criminality in any form but I hate selective justice and as for where you come ftom, who cares?.
Ojiofor, I believe you are from the southeast from your name?.. I am also from the SE and I have refered to where you come from because your arguments are clearly skewed based on ethnicity.

Like I said earlier, I am more bothered about the peace and security in my domain and at this time, if any set of miscreants are to be eliminated, I would prefer the miscreants in my domain to be eliminated first.. Remove tribalism and the needless ethnic paranoia from your judgement and you would instantly understand what I am talking about. This is not wisdom, it is common sense.

knowledgeable:
coward, how about fulani herdsmen savagery killing spree?..
They would be bombed too in due course... but if they are left, that is none of my business.

I am from the SE, if the government can bomb and eliminate all the criminals, rapists, sea pirates, kidnappers and militants that unleashed terror on the peace loving people of the SE, I would be a very happy man when my zone becomes the safest and most peaceful.

Like I said earlier, if they choose to free the criminals in other zones for whatever reasons, that is their business. My greatest concern is about the safety and security in my domain.

I believe this should be common sense.

Ojiofor:
When are they going to bomb fulani herdsmen who have been killing innocent farmers and their families in MB?
Fulani herdmen are the most dangerous sadistic terrorist group in Nigeria today after BH.
The question is,when is buhari going to bomb his kinsmen?.
Are you suggesting that the miscreants unleashing terror on law abiding citizens in the SE and SS are your kinsmen?... So they should be left to keep wrecking havoc on your communities because they are your kinsmen?

The black man truly has an interesting way of reasoning.

Ikengawo:
Ok. He has bombed you. Mind you BH is yet to be bombed. Bombing sambisa is out of the question because "people live there". What next?
Buhari did not bomb me, Buhati did not bomb the people of the SS or SE... Rather he bombed criminals, rapists, sea pirates, kidnappers and militants that have unleashed terror on peace loving people of the area in recent times.

Be warned, if you fall into any one of the above groups of miscreants, you better repent else you will be bombed too wherever you are. This is not the same old docile government that sits back to blame invisible enemies while miscreants take over the nation.

I'm sure the innocent peace loving people of the areas being attacked are very happy about the long overdue military intervention in the security situation in their abode.

Meanwhile others who have no idea of what the innocent people of these areas go through in the hands of the pirates are busy speaking foolishly against the military intervention because they think this is about GEJ or tribalism. Foolishness stinks all over this thread. angry
Politics › Re: Photos Of Calabar Militants Bombing Are FAKE by obailala(m): 5:55pm On Jun 20, 2015
It kills me when I see Nigerians defending the existence of criminals all because of tribalism and ethnicity. Suddenly pirates robbing and raping innocent men women and children in the south should be allowed to go free cos any attempt to fight them is viewed as tribalism.

I pray God leads those pirates to visit the families and homes of the not-too-smart people defending them foolishly.

Op, read your post again and confirm you made any sense in it.
So NAF never bombed Boko Haram right?
Are you one of the sea pirates raping and robbing innocent women along that coast?
The most annoying things is that the innocent market women being robbed, raped, kidnapped and killed by these pirates are still people of the south south.. Yet some are sympathetic to the pirates because the C-in-C is from the north? undecided How can anyone possibly reason like this?
I seriously weep at the thought of the pathetic mentality of some Nigerians.

danny301:
Op, how is it a crime for Buhari to own such assets? Buhari didn't day 150 cows was the only thing he owns in life. He has buildings, orchards, shares etc. As for Buhari taking loan to buy nomination form I don't know how that is a problem. If Buhari, felt that the best thing to do at that moment was to take loan from bank instead of selling any of his properties or withdrawing money from his account (,that is if he had such amount there) and the bank agreed to grant him the loan because he proved to them that he was capable to pay back with interest, then transaction only took place, hence I don't know why you people are making it to look as if taking is one big deal or that loan is meant only for people that have no assets. Anybody can take any financial decision he thinks is good for him at any point provided he is not contravening any law. I think some you have not realized that campaign is already over and that the next election is almost 4years away.
Why do you bother responding to people who have deliberately switched off their brains?

First of all, the statement of 150 cows and 'at least' 1million Naira was never made by Buhari; that statement was casually made by Kayode Fayemi.

Secondly, any sane adult knows that having 1 billion naira worth of assets is not a guarantee that I have liquid cash of N27million in my wallet.

Pls my dear President, President Muhammadu Buhari, i want to use this medium to advice you not to sell the 9 presidential aircrafts as you planned, rather convert them to Nigerian Airways. It is a shame for NigerIan to be patronizing foreign airlines when they are traveling outside the country or within the country. This will create jobs opportunities, revenue for your government and also it will enhance our national image globally
Apart from NAF1 which is a Boeing 737, the planes in the PAF are all small business jets. How do you expect those planes to be converted to passenger planes for international travel?...

You call yourself a Professor but are you even aware of what you are talking about or are you just eager to be an anti-government agent?

If we go into Amaechi's housing projects or employment like his teachers training project or TIMARIV, many will praise him. What of Transformers he provided for communities like Mgbuoba, flyovers like agip junction. Roads like Wimpey road, NTA Road, Ada George (I watch them relay this road twice in two years). I shake my head when people talk bad of Amaechi.
The people who claim Amaechi did nothing in his state are just a bitter bunch filled with nothing but hate. Their reasoning and judgement has been totally eroded by political sentiments all because Amaechi did not support GEJ's re-election. Most of the trolls lambasting Amaechi here for doing nothing have never even stepped foot in Rivers State before.

I've always believed Amaechi's performance was really poor going by the comments I see about him here on this site. But I was in Port-Harcourt 3 weeks ago and was surprised at the quality and quantity of roads springing up everywhere. My first hand interaction with people of the state proved my point; many people I spoke with agreed Amaechi did pretty well, but he lost favour with people when he refused to support GEJ. Simple!

I hope you can & will answer them in due course.

Thanks.
Based on the culture of deceit from our politicians who just produce long lists of ghost achievements on paper, I am typically inclined to believe achievements only when I see either a picture or I see the project on ground personally. Take a drive into Port-Harcourt today for example and on every road, you will be see beautiful schools every 1km you drive past. From what I have personally seen on ground in PHC alone, I very well believe Amaechi deserves the bragging rights in terms of school construction.

- How many new schools did Amaechi build in eight years with almost N4 trillion budget?

- How many old schools did he refurbish & MAINTAIN?

- What was the ratio of students:classrooms/libraries/laboratories in 2007 compared to 2015?

-How many teachers, lab. attendants, librarians were RECRUITED annualy, trained & retrained while being paid their wages promptly during Amaechi's reign of eight years?

- What was the ratio of students:teachers/lab. attendants/librarians in 2007 compared to 2015?

I hope a 'mere' Alausa cameraman can provide these verifiable details to enable an objective assessment of Amaechi's performance [or NON-performance].
Amaechi built over 400 BRAND NEW schools accross Rivers state. I'm sure you've seen some pictures of the Amaechi schools posted on this thread. Simply put, no single governor in the entire Nigeria (past and present) has done up to 50% of what Amaechi did in terms of constructing schools. So I would advise you to kindly get your facts right before you disgrace yourself further.

Anybody trying to criticise or mock Amaechi in terms of construction and rehabilitation of schools is a certified clown.

why do people always argue out of context.. where did 90percent come from?... The whole election results are online for everyone to freely google and see, the number of registered voters and voters with PVCs per state is also online.

Why don't you go back, spend 2mins and do a little arithmetic with those figures before coming here to say 90percent?

Stop disgracing yourself because of sentiments by repeating hearsays. Those BH regions had very low voter turnout.

Jonathan has been relegated to Otuoke, what else do you expect SR to report?... This is exactly what they did during the time of OBJ, UMY and up till GEJ. Unfortunately many knew about them only recently in GEJ's time.

I remember during the Yaradua sickness saga, SR finished whatever was left of Yaradua's government and it appeared they were very sympathetic to Jonathan's struggle. Of course northerners were incensed and viewed SR as a southern tool for lies, propaganda and havoc. But as soon as GEJ took over, it took SR less than a month to start bombarding him.

Now GEJ has been booted out, why should anyone be surprised at the latest developments?
