Bonapart: Malaysia don't want Nigerians in their country... it doesn't matter if you're clean or not.... all these muslims countries are animals.... i hate them with everything in my possession Malaysians are very nice and welcoming people, they never had a problem with Nigerians 10 years ago not until lots of dubious Nigerians started migrating there in drones to commit all sorts of fraud, flaunt illegal wealth in the faces of the timid Malaysians and even oppress them in their own land. The hate Malaysians have for Nigerians only started recently. Unfortunately, the law abiding and good Nigerians there now suffer for the crimes of the bad eggs. |

The Igbos screaming for secession with war war and war are definitely the never-do-wells and younger students who still swim in the delusion of their exuberance. I am still yet to understand how the tens of millions of smart, hard-working, financially balanced and comfortable Igbos owning several viable investments and the largest chunk of properties in cities like Abuja, Lagos Port-Harcourt etc would be convinced to suddenly close shops in a time of peace, run back home, pick up arms and start fighting constituted authority.
We have a lot of internal problems which we need to tackle first (such as leadership in the south-east) and these problems are far bigger than whatever issues we have with outsiders. If we have not solved the issue of leadership in the south-east where we still have people like TA Orji ruling and representing us, then I do not see how breaking away from Nigeria now is our biggest priority that would solve any of our problems. |

Okay Sahara Reporters belongs to Tinubu (if that makes you TANoids happier). But the fact remains that 90% of their stories turn out to be pure truths.
Prove them wrong with examples; it's not enough to just run into the market place and scream "they are liars" without pointing out what they have reported which is a lie. |
Politics › Re: Bukola Saraki Was Petty Thief As Of 1990 - Sahara Reporters(photos) by obailala(m): 10:40am On Jun 29, 2015 |
neocortex: 1. You drew the first blood by insulting everyone who was of a different opinion. 2. This is gross coming from an alleged barrister who doesn't understand connotation. 3. Same as 2 above, you will have gotten away with if Nairalanders are kids. 4. You were actually more interested in "bringing them down" through malicious publications, Is tha a blackmail or an investigation ? 5. How did you know that ? quit reading mind and do more reading. 6. You are being mischievous by using the word "every". Mind you saharareporter is not a law enforcement agency so they are not really " catching and investigating" anyone. They only published what the police charged him with, I don't the police need them to investigate anybody since they didn't provide additional evidence.
I will advice you throw away your mental yoke because it limits your ability to see things in perspective.
It is quite unfortunate that while you tout your "objectiveness" in your post , you actually don't have an iota of it. You accuse others of being bias but you appear to be a master in baseless dogmatism for the reasons best known to you.
From one of your previous post , your response to a poster who accused Buhari of being a fraud and lacking school cert was : "provide evidence ?"
What stops you from calling for investigation into that certificate scandal? I do know your type who subscribe to the cult of personality , your god can never be guilty because well he is a god , it must be his enemies framing him. What can be worse than absolving someone of his wrongdoing simply because you support him ?
Mind you in an organized society , being charged by police is not an evidence as you treated Saraki case.
And lastly , "barrister" is their any difference between premeditated murder and manslaughter since they both result in death ? That should answer all your questions as regards the importance of motive and intention. When I accused you of lacking the most basic comprehension skills, you instantly interpreted that as an insult, but here you are again proving the very point which I alleged. Can you kindly point out to the place where I claimed I was a barrister?.... If you can't, then you do not deserve a response for this your long epistle.Just to clarify for the benefit of any other person reading this, I never claimed anything published by SR was enough evidence to prosecute or imprison anybody. I am only of the opinion that such accusations should be investigated and not summarily dismissed like most people here are suggesting. As for providing evidence on Buhari stealing billions of dollars decades ago, I still insist on that. It is not enough to just make silly conjectures and then expect anything to come out of it. Why can't the accusers provide any form of evidence to start up an investigation? |

I guess you think "wisdom" is when you sell your conscience to the devil just because of crumbs and instant gratification. I am not against publishing such detail but I won't agree with anyone who try to tag Saraki as the only thief in Nigeria. Just so you know charging someone to court doesn't mean they ate guilty. This would have had much merit if he was convicted or evidence of his culpability were provided. But as usual you join the bandwagon to crucify Saraki just because you disagree with him politically.
Why not protest against the freeing of Timpre Silva by Buhari , the so called anti-corruption man, at least the case has more relevance for this period in time. Can you imagine your silliness in calling me a simpleton when you lack even the most basic comprehension skills. Point out where i referred to Saraki as the only thief in Nigeria? I simply called for him to be investigated in the basis of any evidence as against the silly outbursts of you and your co-travellers who are of the opinion that he should he shouldnt ever be investigated because "he's not the only thief." just as you accuse Saraki of fraud in Societe Generale Bank so you can accuse Buhari of funds traced to Midlands Banks in the UK
Just as you can accuse of Saraki of having dual citizenship, you can also accuse Buhari of misleading INEC about his WASC
either way if You want to clean Nigeria then lets start from the top. Buhari is as corrupt and any other Nigerian politican!

Weren't they masquerading themselves as corruption free. Now that he didn't follow the drug lord rules, that's when they remembered to air his dirty laundry. We already knew every APC politicians are corrupt so this didn't come as a surprise. The only reason others are defending saraki is because of we are tired of this pettiness tinubu and the rest of his minions are playing. He won one over them. They should get over it already. So whats your point exactly?... That a rogue caught in the act with live evidence should be let go because all other rogues have not been caught yet?.... Are you in governement and do you profit directly or indirectly from any of these players?.... If the answer to this question is NO and you are just an ordinary citizen, then your reasoning ability is pitiable. Are you aware that the only way people like Tinubu can be brought to book is if his old friends decide to expose him with evidence?.... Are you aware that if Saraki is brought down, he will surely fight back by exposing damning evidence against his former friends (Tinubu and co) who are presently exposing him?.... Are you aware that if both men go down, the nigerian masses would be the winners?... But right now all your wisdom tells you is that Saraki should be let off the hook until EVERY rogue in Nigeria is caught at the same time. |

why not start by bringing down Buhari? Why would some people not just sit back and put their God given brains to use for a second? So as no one has been able to bring any damning evidence against buhari, is that a reason why all other rogues that are exposed should be defended and eventually allowed to walk free? Okay, Buhari's camp has brought out evidence against Saraki, why dont you start by bringing up evidence against Buhari?.... instead you are of the opinion that a confirmed rogue should not be investigated. Maxymilliano: Sahara Reporters has turned itself into a blackmailing tool ...
Saraki is APC and APC is Saraki, meaning if Saraki is deemed to be corrupt, APC is as well corrupt.
Shameless rogues masquerading as agent of change. So because we all know the underlying reasons why his past is being exposed now, is that a reason why the allegations against him should be dismissed and forgiven? Why do Nigerians keep applying this 'wisdom' in a senseless way? Are you aware that if the man is brought down now, he would surely expose the rogues in the camp of his enemies who would also be brought down and overall, Nigerian masses would be the winners when several rogues (irrespective of their camp) are brought down?... Any sensible Nigerian with an iota of wisdom should encourage and not discourage this cycle of our collective oppressors exposing themselves. |

Okay the man has always been a thief but no one cared to do anything about it. Now someone who is in disagreement with him has decided to expose the man but Nigerians in their usual Nigerian manner have decided to attack the motive behind exposing him and then go ahead to defend the thief.
Nigerians are funny, we cry that our leaders are thieves when it suits us, but when it doesnt suit us politically, we willingly forgive the person, dismiss the case and then defend the thief with the last drop of our blood even if damning evidence is brought out against the person.
Nigerians truly deserve the kind of government and leadership it gets. |

My sincere apologies, but permit me to digress into politics a bit here. I thank God we have gone beyond the reign of GEJ and we are presently at a time when protests/petitions like this can actually be investigated if it gets to the ears of the president.
I can assure you that if this thread was opened 3 months ago, the Op would have been lambasted and insulted for being an APC supporter/propagandist trying to undermine the administration of GEJ. It was a terrible season indeed but once again, I thank God we have gone beyond that political era when objectivity and common sense was thrown to the dogs for the sake of political/ethnic/religious sentiments.
Now back to the main topic, from thousands of miles away, even a blind man could see that corruption in the military was what undermined the ability of the military to crush bokoharam. |
