Some people think Women should be financially independent her husband should not provide for her... Feminism will create more marriages and liberate men from financial pressures of 'being a man' |

Who are men to think they have a right to discriminate against women on the basis of age? If men do not want women above a certain then women also do not want men over a certain age! Tit for tat. The problem though is marriage is no longer an institution suited to modern times in my opinion. With feminism came female financial independence which a good thing and I support that. What works today that offers both men and women good deals is have a girlfriend or boyfriend then when old marry...at least uv had ur fun... though not a biblical model but it is what it is. 7 Likes 1 Share |

CANADA has harsh winters. Most jobs don't pay as high as US. The key with Canada is finding a good job. If you find a good job in Canada stay there, nigeria stay there. if in UK or germany stay there. Ontario for the most part is a no go area in terms of good jobs unless maybe Ottawa - forget Toronto... too expensive. 2 Likes |

Abroad/ USA/ UK/ Canada is good if you have a good stable job. The advantage Lagos/ Nigeria has is lower rents. Abroad has too much financial pressure - high rent, high taxes. But these do not affect high earners much... |

Travel / Re: Nigerians In The UK, How Do You Socialise by Obalende: 9:00am On Apr 12, 2017 |
Mcowubaba: its not excessive friendship.... london is quite isolating for someone without a family. even platonic acquaintance could help a guys hustle. tbh i think church is not good advise. I would recommend retaining ur friends in nigeria thru social media eg whatsapp. they will be more reliable as london is a transitionary town for hustlers which i think is a bad culture. Moreover its best to move to these western countries as a couple... as a singleton is a bad idea as the loneliness can even adversely affect ur career. 1 Like |

chiraqDemon: not necessarily. take just Chicago, it has more shootings per day than the entire federation of Nigeria combined. Nigeria's own is general insecurity and robberies. Add Missouri, Atlanta and you have a living warzone/hell. 1 Like |

Per my last post, the stats I posted basically makes Abuja and Lagos mainland and Island, Ibadan, Ado Ekiti, Awka and Onitsha safer than most US cities. Similar crime rates in Atlanta, St Louis, Missourri and indeed indeed most US cities 2 Likes |

In the first two months of 2017, there had been over 450 shootings and many homicides in just Chicago alone! • About 1:20 p.m. on the West Side, a 21-year-old man was shot in the 5800 block of West North Avenue in the Austin neighborhood. The man was walking on the street when he was shot in the lower leg by someone in a brown Impala. He was taken in good condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said. • About 6:50 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot in the 2200 block of South Central Park Avenue in the Little Village neighborhood. The boy suffered a graze wound to the head and was treated at the scene, police said. • Just before 9:10 p.m. on the Far South Side, a 25-year-old man was shot in Calumet Heights. He was riding in a vehicle in the 9100 block of South Oglesby Avenue when someone shot him in the back. He got to Advocate Trinity Hospital and was listed in serious condition. • About 9:20 p.m. on the West Side, a 29-year-old man was shot in the leg in the 5200 block of West Ferdinand Street in the South Austin neighborhood, police said. He got to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park where his condition was stabilized. • On the South Side about 10 p.m., a 39-year-old man got himself to Advocate Trinity Hospital with gunshot wounds to the right thigh and left foot after a shooting in the 9000 block of South Greenwood Avenue. His condition was stabilized. On the Far South Side about 8:50 p.m., 24-year-old Devell Coleman was killed in the Brainerd neighborhood. He was on the sidewalk in the 9100 block of South Emerald Avenue when someone in a dark-colored sedan opened fire and hit him in the head and back. He went to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, and he was pronounced dead. The medical examiner said Coleman lived on the block where he was shot. About 8:35 p.m., a 31-year-old man was shot in the head and back in the 11400 block of South Ada Street in the West Pullman neighborhood, police said. The man was pronounced dead on the scene. Police released no details about the shooting but said a person of interest was being questioned. He was later identified as Jon Shupe, of Lansing, Illinois. Lawrence-Harrington, 27, was shot to death in the 800 block of East 132nd Street, at the north end of Carver Park, authorities said. enshy: Girls of today marry 28+ definitely not youth. Guys are subconsciously attracted to youth and fertility. To keep the biblical injunction women must therefore marry younger.. |

The 25+ marriage regime for girls should come to an end. the 35+ marriage regime for guys as well should end. I believe marriage was designed to be done young not something u do after being with multile partners. no one is a fool.Contrary to popular belief marriage & school are not incompatible. i believe my wife should be younger than me by 4-10 years. |

i asked GTBank, it is true. max rate for 1 million - 10 million is about 5%. What CBN is doing is aligning Nigeria with the global economy. Nothing more nothing less. They have set rates similar to USA, Canada and UK so that Nigeria will not be out of line with these countries. CBN is being controlled by the west and all of their policies reflect this. Did you know that all Nigerian banks are also now required to report to IRS (Internal Revenue Service) of the USA? Its called FATCA. Anyway this development is good; I was thinking of investing in Nigeria but the country doesnt want to help itself, so im gonna keep my money where I am :-) 2 Likes |
