rien05: U may decide to leave one parish for anoda. D truth be told, d catholic church lacks spirituality. Its all based on routine. U bow down at every statue and say u don't worship it but honour d being it represents. Stay there. Am a Catholic or was,but am out.safe journey, dont let the door hit ya on ur way further out |
dridowu: not surprised cos hardly can u find and govt website functioning 24/7 with uptodate infoyou are going too far , very few Nigerian websites function maximally, Nairaland is really one of the very few |
tnktosin: Sad news everyday. I was bent on raising my kids here but its not getting any better. Na to port be the matterrun as fast as your legs can carry you , if you can afford it , run i say |
Tolexander: there are some things you don't know about the first lady, that is why you are talking like that.how is it down there at A$$ville? |
Gosh....the pic looks old!
DAFT |
na wa so they are about to find a vaccine for HIV and malaria and they are working and spending tirelessly on other ground breaking researches around the globe and Nigeria is still trying to figure out how to give 24hr electricity after how many decades |
repete-blackmagic |
goldfish80: Since she doesn't have kids, why shouldn't she have 6packs?na true ,the woman is taking care of her body,i'm sure she will have this same body regardless of having kids |
deb: OK we have heard. So, who is going to jail now?ACCOUNTABILITY IS VIRTUALLY NON EXISTENT IN NIGERIA |
Rossikk: Were you there?i was there, now what? |
Scun: Sometimes I feel our leaders are trolls who deliberately set out to annoy us. He is yet to give any sppech or press release on the 26 who were killed in Abuja last week, nothing on the 142 and counting killed in Borno, but he has time to send condolence message to and pledge support for Kenya. Very annoyingannoying is an understatement, there isn't a word in the English dictionary that can explain my feeling towards our leaders |
awwwwwwwwwwwww, how cute |
ajasa4link: the lady must marry this great manlol , can you imagine her deciding to hyphenate her last name with her husband's last name |
moshino: I'm sorry to tell you this; By the standard of Universities in North America, Europe and Asia, there is NO university in Nigeria! You will NOT understand this until you actually attend a university for just one semester in these places I referenced. But, it is also very sad and unfortunate for Nigeria I must say. Nigeria had excellent universities until the eighties, beyond that, what you call university in Nigeria will not qualify as a high school in the places I mentioned, both in content and context.one semester is even too generous ,just attend their open day , where they give a tour and presentation on what the school has to offer and you will weep for Nigeria and her one million universities |
jst replyin a comment bro...drs can help educate em, thy can encorage thr community of origin to vaccinate thr children......these communities nid d words of a person thy can trust .and not sm southerners/oyibos who cannt speak d language of d people........thy nid enlitenemnt!!
these people will not respond well to doctors , instead they will respond to members of their own community who will act as champions of this cause who will work with the health workers who are from Niger and have already been trained by doctors and various agencies, their job is just to administer it and keep records and report back , i'm sure they have targets |
its not deadly sista, its a morbidity problm not a mortality problm!
okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk not a mortality problem , that's fine then.Phew!! |
thoth: Whatever is there reason is no concern of yours or mine, what is most important is that they expressed their right and they said NO, forcing vaccination on them when they have clearly voiced their stand on it is dehumanizing. There reason is not to be judged they have right to cite religious reasons, cultural beliefs or simply arbitrary volition to reject it with no reason other than that they don’t want it in their body.are you aware that others are exposed to reinfection because of these people |
Davo93: Chai! I am surprised people like you with this kind of reasoning still exist in our modern age. SMHhonestly, it just shows you that there is really no hope, in fact that light that we have been claiming that is at the end of the tunnel is virtually non existent with such reasoning |
A GOOD POINT BUT, most communities dnt hv indigenous doctors in d north.....and these are d people dt wud hv helpd alot in d campaign, u can count d numba of drs in a state(majority are even of southern origin).unlike in d south whr evry hse hv a dr
you dont need doctors to give polio vaccination |
Onyegecha: Why? This is injustice. They should stop forcing people to accept vaccination especially when there is a strong indication that there's more than meets the eye with these 'free, by force' gifts.this is the type of comment that warrants a reply, the vaccine should in fact be forced on them, they are opening the world in general to re infection of this near eradicated disease , we cannot be held to ransom by just a few daft people , i want my children's children to not even know the word polio. Please watch this doc that aired on channel 4 about Ade Adepitan who also suffers from Polio , he came to Nigeria some months back to shoot this interesting documentary on polio and its myths http://adeadepitan.com/2013/08/ade-adepitan-journey-of-my-lifetime/ |
well i guess he will be forced to do what he and other politicians should have done ages ago , RETIRE QUIETLY, he will face his retirement squarely now, but lucky him , he has the resources to manage the condition |
ketoprofen: we are together.Abi? whether in the dead of the night when we were sleeping, a new Nigeria was formed and God created new set of Nigerian men |
Jman06: These are south African girls talking good of Nigerian men,no wonder the saying that a prophet is not honoured in his own hood.yes its the same thing when they say Nigerian police is the best in the universe and we Nigerians are wondering if the person that compiled the data for the ranking was drunk. |
Built2last: and how many people can afford that in Africa.erm is that the issue ? of course many people can afford that in Africa, no be jet they flow like water so |
Giddyprance: and in ur stupid shortsightedness u av 4gotten dat there are many catholic priests going about buying houses and cars 4 their family members.Go to the east u'd c dat almost every family wants tew av at least one of their sons as a rev fr cos its a sure way out of poverty....open ur eyes bigotthose are Nigerian priests , most priests abroad die paupers unless they themselves come from rich backgrounds but if they have to survive on their paltry allowance given to them by their parish then they are poor and from what i've heard that allowance is very small but truth be said what are they doing with the money , if they get accommodation within the parish and are fed, wetin again remain .There is absolutely no chance for excesses like we see in Nigeria |
Built2last: I need to state clearly that using a Limo or 1960 Datsun does not guaranty going to heaven after life. also avoiding judging others with what they use. when we show before our maker we shall answer individually. poor or rich alike.calm down on the exaggeration, At 2011 prices, the pope mobile cost approximately £345,000. which is like N89,049,675 |
Use a wider pot to steam the tomatoes. It should not take more than 45 minutes to dry. I agree that the nutrients are non existent by the time you are done but you can always throw kale in at the last minute. I love my kale almost raw and they pack more nutrients than any raw tomato can. So cook your stew the Nigerian way but add vegetables and don't cook it for long after you add veggies.
i only use kale in my smoothies , this kale in stew is new to me , quick question soul _glo, when you add the kale to your stew at the last minute that makes it vegetable stew abi? please how long after you add the kale do you turn off the burner? |
