“Excellence is a journey, it’s never a destination. The federal ministry of health is ready to face any outbreak. yes thank you sir, while you are facing outbreaks and conquering the world , help us upgrade the already ailing infrastructure, because there is still life after Ebola |
egopersonified: So this N1.9b is slowly entering voicemail.at least voice mail na say you fit even hear the msg later but this one go be missed call from private number |
shikshark: why cars. why not create more employment in the health sector, the Nigeria i see nowadays is the one at the grip of corrupt public office holdersfor goodness sake even settle the doctors VS govt battle |
Sunnybobo3: Dude that's one of the questions asked when one presents with certain symptoms.exactly, there are some symptoms one displays here in the UK and immediately they would ask you if you have been to so so so place within the past year , so that they can start the process of elimination of possible illnesses |
i wear my hair natural because it gives me my own "individual look" . Weaves are pretty but right now they tend to make everyone look the same so that individuality is lost, right now Nigerian girls have a stereotype look, same hair , same make up with that dreadful eyebrows that everyone seems to have , weaves just help you fit into that stereotype look. My natural hair doesn't age me, i can't spend all this money taking care of my skin and body and then go on to ruin my look with so much hair that makes me look at least 5-10years older than i really am. Weaves are pretty , but they are just not the look i'm going for. |
i can literally watch orange is the new black, big bang and modern family (especially for Phil dunphy), all day everyday |
but why didn't she stop him from travelling |
Mr. Sawyer’s action, he said, has placed unnecessary stress on Nigeria’s health system. unnecessary stress he says , a system that was crippled before now , this Ebola issue has further revealed how derelict the health system is . walk the walk oga minister , at some point you are expected to justify your hefty salary |
well these buildings are investments, they have not been built for one year use but a 100 years and when the need arises they can be sold, any improvements made to the building only increases its value. |
maybe this is the wake up call doctors need to get out of their comfort zone and seek the hustle elsewhere, all i know is that sacking 16,000 doctors will have its consequence. why weren't they sacked ages ago when they started the strike? so because the Ebola virus don tie wrapper the govt is trying to fire fight and sacking 16,000 doctors is the only solution a whole govt of the fed republic of Nigeria can come up with ? sack the doctors to replace them with what na? you owe them salaries for months and you expect them to survive on what ? air? sacking 16,000 doctors will never solve the problem with the health sector, common quarantine station you dont have, you build a pig sty and call it a quarantine station and you somehow expect doctors to rush in there as voltron to save the day? you expect them to perform miracles, how na? I think that for anyone to go through the stress of studying to be a doctor , they have the zeal and passion for it, but that passion can easily be quenched by the situation in Nigeria. When you have been a recipient of good health care provision you would see that for anyone to go into a Nigerian hospital and come out alive is nothing short of a miracle, the Nigerian health sector is in a state , no matter how much the govt wants to make it the fault of some group of people other than themselves, it is in a sorry state and maybe this Ebola virus is what is needed to further reveal just how shambolic a state it is in. |
chukwuma101: Our sportsmen, entertainers, writers, etc do us proud. It is politics, politics, that brings us low.honestly it is heartbreaking |
babyosisi: Which govtMay your way never be narrow, i think after this your comment the thread should be closed, even if the equivalent of Harrow was built in that community , how many will go?how many of them think a girl child needs to be educated? how many of them believe that a girl child has a brain and that maybe just maybe she can do more than just having kids endlessly for old toothless, useless, dirty, perverted, stinky old |
got my palms sweaty |
alaladakosta: They will send messages to them in the spirit world that things has changed from how they left itlolllllllllllllll, calling all mediums, do the needful please |
lekinz: If I have 25% of his money.....well when you are depressed, you sometimes dont have a choice |
macof: Then Bleep off this thread and leave ur opinion to urselfwow, macof ,try and not get your panties in a bunch , the oro ritual will go on as planned |
hensben: did ramadan not restrict people's movement few weeks ago, are everybody in nigeria moslem, you think people dont have something to do that week...smh.blackslavesyes and was there a curfew for the Ramadan? This is nothing against tradition, yoruba , ibo or whetever else , yes a ritual has been scheduled , we respect that, i mean if we have xmas, easter, ramadan etc,why shouldn't you have oro ritual but what happens to those who due to unforeseen circumstance cannot keep to the compulsory curfew, will they be killed and does the oro ritual make provision for that ? meanwhile what are you on about please black slaves![]() |
PAGAN9JA: This is not a culture for your entertainment ok? THis is the Real ritual. For the GODS.for goodness sake what are you on about, culture for entertainment how? professional entertainers how? This is nothing against tradition, yoruba , ibo or whetever else , yes a ritual has been scheduled , we respect that, i mean if we have xmas, easter, ramadan etc,why shouldn't you have oro ritual but what happens to those who due to unforeseen circumstance cannot keep to the compulsory curfew, will they be killed and does the oro ritual make provision for that ? |
macof: It's the culture. You shouldn't go out, stay home in honour of the king.you damn right i'm in England and loving it. Hypocrite how by the way ![]() |
Evergreeen123: Mr Obii dont have any emotions whatsoever about your culture , i'm just saying its unfair to restrict the movement of some people just because a king died , this is not a Yoruba thing or ibo thing, in general its just a common sense thing , by all means practice your culture but not at the expense of human beings. i think most people appreciate the beauty of culture and like the fact that it is still being practiced but come on a 6pm curfew ![]() |
while we are happy that in the 21st century some of our African culture is still practiced today , why though must people be made to feel threatened by it, why must i be held hostage in my own home because a king died? culture must be engaging to ensure its continuity and interest, why must movement be restricted because a king died? culture must be accommodating to others who are not part of it, hassle like this is what brings hostility towards certain practices and they are seen to be backward thus people turn their noses at it and refuse to understand it. |
jpphilips: Do you have epidemic for a curable disease? even if it runs amok, it will definitely be taken care ofwrong use of epidemic by me, TB is indeed curable |
question- so where have they moved those other patients who also have highly contagious diseases to ? answer- i guess somewhere inadequate where they can freely infect others and then we can start to deal with a TB epidemic |
fr3do: The economy go suffer small otrue talk i like your ideas because the economy go suffer either way its either we carry on with our daily affairs and risk infection because as it is now no hope for where govt dey as is usually the case. or like you said start to depopulate the city , take very serious overcrowding reduction measures , schools, market , church sef because , all we need na just one person wey get the virus to stroll by mushin market or one person wey get the virus to give peace of the lord for church and dats it. import only the best protective overall gears no be the type wey person they use fumigate house oh at least for people wey dey in direct contact with the victims |
fr3do: We need to think and think fast.think fastest sef my brother , this thing no be joke |
i just fear that if medics are taking extraordinary lengths to keep from getting the disease and they are still contracting it, what is the hope for Nigeria? is the answer for the common man to completely withdraw from the public ? Doctors are on strike No cure No quarantine stations No adequate protective gear who knows how they are disposing the bodies of the deceased eh? what of domestic animals like dogs ? can they be carriers? we need to shut down the borders too not just airports we need quarantine stations desperately like yesterday around the country , this one is really a case for prevention is better than cure , there is no cure so prevention is the only option right now. we need crematoriums to dispose of the bodies with dignity. Liberia itself should be sanctioned if those pics are actual Ebola victims , for not disposing of the bodies properly preferably by cremation , how can they just leave the bodies on the street like that to spread even further , isnt that when the virus is at its peak? meanwhile interesting article http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/25-critical-facts-about-this-ebola-outbreak-that-every-american-needs-to-know |
Princeadebayo1: Going for what u want ....yeah but it will be a shock to the Man if he is not yet ready and anything can follow,I guess her husband too had already made up his mind to propose to her so it wasnt dat sudden to him so it depends.....i will rather cope with rejection early than realize 5yrs down the line that this person never intended to marry me at all, at least if you ask and he says no , then you know on time . i feel that when a girl asks a man to marry her it is a very bold way of finding out what plans this guy has for you, many men will lead you on for 10years if they had their way, only a daft, weak ,ego drunk man would think it desperate, desperate is getting pregnant purposefully to rope a man into marriage, i think that rather than get pregnant and rope the guy into committing by force and then have him spite you for a long time because he knows the stunt you pulled to end up his wife , why not just ask him? if he says no, thank your lucky stars, dust your slippers on your way out and move on before you start spending your time and energy on someone who never had the intention of setting down in life with you .Humans are tougher than you think, time is a healer. WOMEN TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE PLEASE, DON'T ASSUME ANYTHING |
Princeadebayo1: Proposing to a man is not proper and shows how desperate the female is which can turn off any Man buh if u get d liver and kidney ,what are yhu waiting for,the best thing dat will happen is d guy will say "NO"it is not desperate , its about going for what you want, my friend proposed to her now husband of 7 years and he was stunned beyond words. the worst that will happen is dat the guy will say no, it is the same rejection a man will feel that the woman will feel if the answer is no, LIFE IS TOO SHORT AT TIMES TO KEEP WAITING |
Oahray: When we say feminism is anti-marriage and anti-family, you femi-nazis would cry foul. Here:A submissive woman helps build up her home and earns the admiration/respect of her husband (if he's reasonable). May God bless you for this statement, IF HE IS REASONABLE is the key statement here, Naturally women like power , they like when a man shows that he is in charge, submission is easy when the man is reasonable , if the man in question isn't ,then submission to a man who has a brain the size of a fruit fly could be perceived as being in bondage ,there is also the feeling of insecurity and oppression hence the woman feels the need to defend herself and will be reluctant to give herself freely to this To be fair some women have been through tough situations in their families which has forced them to be leaders from a very young age, these women will be strong , tough, resilient , independent, decisive, sometimes rigid and unless they meet their match they will not find it easy to submit , it will take a strong focused man to get them to submit . |
Sanchez01: Netherlands is still there ooo. Please, don't give it to Brazil just yet.exactly especially as i picked them in my department's sweepstakes |
xtervaganza: This weight loss has made this ice handsome man so ugly Shaat 53 , his body doesn't need unnecessary weight, he has done good to work on his weight , rather look anorexic with a healthy BMI than obese and handsome |
doctokwus: Don't evn bliv d part dat it worked on his friend, maybe just to embelish d story. These things don't work, yet foolish pple wud continually wasting their lives testing them.the thing tire me , heaven forbid one says the truth about some of these so called charms |
black slaves
and you will be left with how to handle the rejection.....pls never try it at home .
