Shey my eye dey pain me? Na this car person call neatly baked with the broken rear light come add am 1.5m? ![]() |
Drop out rate will not increase. What will increase is crime rate, yahoo rate, hookup rate, ritual rate and APC supporters rate. |
post=126011970:Will you keep quiet there!!!! Look at the heap of refuse in front of that market.... If Lawma provided appropriate waste receptacles would people dump refuse anyhow? Why has Lawma not evacuated that rubbish heap? Pot calling kettle black!!!! People are willing to pay reasonable fees for functional public services not task force here and there when Una never do your primary responsibility as government agencies!!! |
accordadoga30:I am sure na night school you bin go because your brain dey only think jatijati. |
johnpalmer774:Are you privy to what NNPP's counter position was? Or do you think that in the tribunal it is just the argument of the plaintiff that is entertained? |
Ikaeniyan0:Don't say what you can't defend. How many APC votes in Kano were invalidated due to INEC errors? Or was it coincidence that INEC failed to get it right only in 165k votes of NNPP alone? No be JuJu be that? |
We've been hearing about the 4th mainland bridge for some time now. Unfortunately after many years it still remains in conception stage. There are lessons to be learnt from the third mainland bridge story Viz nothing is too big to achieve if the government of the day sets it's mind to it. We need to expand boat transport along the waterways of Lagos significantly for one and two we need to take this 4th mainland serious. |
Rayban25:You're looking at the scenario idealistically if every one was to conduct themselves as expected but you know in real life things never go exactly to plan. I'm viewing it humanistically. When people are gathered in solidarity or in protest there will definitely be different kinds of people and different ideas being exchanged so you shouldn't be surprised if discussions move towards the current economic realities people face on a daily basis. As for the police, you can only expect them to perform when it involves government or HNIs. |
Rayban25:Let's be honest. How many of the people who joined the procession were informed of the modalities of the procession? You can expect the frustration of the people with the handling of the Mohbad issue to overflow and merge with the overall dissatisfaction of the current economic realities of the common man which only seem to be getting worse and with no signs of any solution in sight. |
Dididrumz:With the way the country is and the hunger in the land, are citizens not right to protest? Let's stop with all this hypocrisy abeg! |
Goodman2023:All criminals believe they are smart until they are caught. |
loosecanon50:Talk is cheap. Until we start seeing the projects completed and done to the highest standards before we will believe. |
Just imagine if Nigerians dedicated this energy into investigating why their refineries have refused to work.... |
TruthsFM:Typical Nigerian youth with mentality of expo. Which one come be Covey? You seem am for the original post come copy am follow post! |
Fizalis:If your house is on fire and instead of looking for how to put off the fire, you're waiting first for someone to come and assist you then you are indeed a lazy youth. |
When Buhari called Nigerian youths lazy People were complaining. See the daylight robbery that was taking place under APC in the last 8 years and they were rewarded by another 4 years. Today dollar is N1000 but people who should be concerned about their stomachs are organising protests seeking justice for Mohbad and watching big brother. |
socialmediaman:Bros.... Off your Mic ooooo. Make some owomida bingos for nairaland no come chop you o!! |
So Una know say problem dey the oil and gas sector wey Una never solve na im Una first of all remove subsidy make the people suffer why Una dey find solution. Come devalue dollar on top make our national debt double overnight and make inflation and unemployment skyrocket. No be JuJu be that? |
DeLaRue:Please explain why the government then decided to devalue the naira when they have not started exporting anything of value to improve our balance of payments position and make imported diesel cheaper? |
Subsidy must go..... Oya una Don comot subsidy..... So what's the plan now awon Renewed Hope? I'm sure seunmsg and helinues will avoid this topic like the plague |
This is the same APC that called PDP corrupt. See how our commonwealth was just being plundered shamelessly and people like helinues will come out to defend the indefensible. Birds of the same feather. |
HBB1:Drugs are meant to cure sickness but similarly drugs can kill if prescribed wrongly or taken in the wrong dosage. Obi wanted to fix the refineries before removing subsidies. That way we would not have been at the mercy of the international market unlike what we see today. Obi was also interested in blocking all the loopholes in the system that encouraged stealing and corruption unlike what we have today. |
accordadoga29:What exactly do you know about Yoruba culture except to feel among on social media? |
25% is just the official rate. In reality inflation is closer to 50% . Very soon NBS will recalibrate the definition of inflation as they did for unemployment because the rate of inflation is fast becoming a national embarrassment. |
Raskimonojendor:Let me educate you. We own crude oil and do swap deals for refined fuel so by right the fluctuations in the price of Brent crude should not affect the price of imported fuel as what we pay for is just the production cost margin. If Brent crude was $50 and we were getting refined fuel of $40 by swap. Even if crude rises to $60 production costs are not expected to sky rocket. The margin is supposed to remain the same or marginally higher. |
So instead of addressing the issue of herders encroaching on farm lands, you're asking the farmers to harvest whatever they can because there's nothing that can be done about the encroachment. Hmmmm safeguarding of lives and property in the mud. |
Acekidc4:Even in front of Ikeja Bus terminal, there are huge potholes. In which area of can the government beat it's chest that it has fixed 90% of the major roads except Lekki which is a no go area whenever rains fall? |
ShoeWorld1:But no be una reward APC by voting them in for another term? |
AllenSpencer:What if your loved one was wrongly arrested and while in captivity, the police decided to poison him? How would you feel? That's why all are presumed innocent until proven guilty and appropriately sentenced. |
AllenSpencer:That's why we have laws and the judiciary. If they are tried and found guilty then they should be prosecuted according to the law. This is supposed to be a democracy. Even in Sharia, police don't kill prisoners in captivity. Let the law take its full course. |
AllenSpencer:How can you write something like this? What if this happens to one of your loved ones? |
PHAYOL81:I have tried to overlook your intellectual shortcomings and tried to have a matured discourse with you but it seems that you are hellbent on exchanging insults which I am not going to besmirch myself by engaging you along those lines. If government ostensibly is out to save lives there are far more important things that can have the greater good than rendering people homeless without compensation. Governments from time immemorial have demolished structures to build roads and paid appropriate compensation. So if the government wants to engage on demolition exercises, by all means let them proceed but they should pay compensation to all affected! Not only will this generate goodwill for the government, but it would also help avoid potential crime and environmental issues from the displaced persons. However it makes no sense to save one life from demolished buildings while you ignore ailing hospitals and bad roads that kill 100 more people per 1 person killed in collapsed buildings. The stats are there. Google it and compare the death stats over the last 5 years from road accidents and hospitals to collapsed buildings for yourself. A father who needs to pay for his child's school fees would not be looking for how to pay new sandal for his child who shoe is worn out but wearable until he has been able to hustle and pay school fees. Similarly it would be stupid of a woman to go and make her hair when her children are hungry in the house. Understand what scale of preference is and what should be the priority and vice versa. |
