You probably only know Linda on Nairaland. If you follow her well, you will know that one thing still endears her to the hearts of a lot of people despite any negative news surrounding her and that thing is Family Values - Love and respect for family. She even publicly frowns at cases that involves not showing respect to people no matter what. From how she respects her father and seeks his permission before doing anything, does she look like someone who won't pass those same good nurturing her parents passed unto her to her child?

With how closely knitted her family is, does she cut across to you like someone who will raise an irresponsible child? Wish her luck and let it end there.

In as much as I empathize with the family of the deceased, I beg to opine that his murder may be very unconnected to the flaunting of cash. It may just be a coincidence.

While typing this, something else struck me, what if he was owing someone and kept posting the person on the grounds that he has no money, the the person saw the wife's post and arranged for him to be murdered?

Or

What if someone asked him for money favours and he told the person he didn't have money, then the wife's post irked the person?

In spite of these assumptions though, his death may be very unconnected to the money his wife posted on SM. That the sister of the deceased said it doesn't make it the fact. It is obvious they haven't been best of in-laws.

May the man's soul rest in perfect peace.

Celine is 50? I didn't know. But then, Celine lost her husband after a long illness...the STRESS of the cancer and that of his death is enough to make her age thrice...there lies the difference.

reminds me of toyin Aimaku Abdullahi the lady with cancer...toyin and the lady's family knew the lady had few days to live,they asked Nigerians to raise 10m and naija raised whooping sum of 100m.the lady died days later and toyin and her family started fighting over the money until olive intervened.

I scanned through the comments on the front page and it is funny not a single person mentioned that she should go back to School. At this stage, she still needs more education. Her parents probably married her off because of the burden of her baby but did they also think about how she will be able to take care of a special needs man and also take care of her baby at such a tender age?

Who even impregnated her? Why wasn't that mentioned? It is good she would be handed over to the government, she is still too young to bear the burden of marriage coupled with having a little baby to cater for.

The man isn't an old man as the initial story claimed. His medical condition made him appear old...

Did you have the experience before setting up a supermarket? Guess what? People actually learn 'provision' - this is how they call it. Like, you will actually pay someone to learn in their shop/outfit how to sell 'provisions'.

On the outside, it looks easy but until you put in your legs, you won't know that there are some trade secrets only people in the know are exposed to.

The advice I was given constantly when my business kept failing is this: re-strategize. So I will advice you do same. Do a lot of research, this also has helped me in a whole lot of ways. God help you!

I have a very funny and annoying case I'm dealing with right about now.

A company contacted me to design calendars for 2019 for them. After 2weeks of designing and countless tweaking plus product photo sessions, it got to the print stage and I suddenly the company said they can't pay the amount I requested for the print job.

I said OK fine, this is the soft copy of the job, get a printer to do the printing for less than what I offered, they went ahead and printed elsewhere even though the manager later confirmed they paid more for the printing compared with what I offered.

Now, the issue is this, I need my money for my intellectual property and time put into the design for calendar that they have already shared to their customers. To my greatest shock, I was told I won't be paid a dime.

What is their reason for not paying me? That I wasn't the one that printed the job, hence I won't be paid for the design. Like wtf are they talking about.

I'm already getting legal advice on how to recover my money from them.

Starting up a business ain't child's play people. Perseverance will surely pay in the long run. Stay focused, don't give up.

They are wrong for not paying you. But I suggest you apply caution in the matter. I hate when things turn out this way. I hope you get your payment from them.

My heart goes out to the family of the Late Mrs Olusola. I just feel sad that this Country is the way it is. Imagine someone who employed you so you can put food on your table...the workers are demons in human skin. Such an unfair world!

You are actually correct to an extent. Until I started living in Mushin, I didn't believe there were actually husbands who rely on their wives 100% for the upkeep of the home financially.

I see a lot of this in Mushin. Personally, I have nothing against it but as someone who studies issues like this thoroughly, I have come to realize that it is influenced more by nurture as a result of the environment. Some men would rather hang around drinking early in the morning instead of going to do petty jobs pending the time that they get more meaningful jobs while the women who are saddled with the responsibility of taking care of the kids have no other option than to work extra and hard.

Like I wrote above, this is greatly influenced by the environment. You will hardly see such in other environment.

There is nothing wrong if the man can not genuinely fend for the family due to circumstances beyond his control but it is wrong if he just lazes around without giving a push.

The same week for the embryo transfer was the same week she conceived naturally so it wouldn't have been possible to detect any pregnancy. At just the first week of pregnancy, pregnancy tests will still come out negative. They know it happened same week because the babies arrived same time.

Lol...there are different types of sand. This particular type is found inside rivers. They do it in Nigeria too. I am very sure of this. In Ogun river, that flows past a part close to Lagos, you will find Hausa men doing this business. Like, it is a normal business for them. Anywhere you see tippers close to a river, observe them more, they are going to get this type of sand from the men that sell them.

Honorary doctorate degree is conferred on anyone worthy of it just the same way chieftaincy title is conferred on whoever deserves it as per the person's contribution to the society.

She has made a remarkable contribution to the society through something if you ask me and that is through Blogging. It won't be out of place too to award Seun this same honorarium if he accepts because he has also contributed remarkably to online information management. It depends on your field. There is nothing wrong in awarding her the honorarium. She has put in the work.

Marriage is about sacrifice and compromise most times. Keep white wedding aside, by the laws of the land, she is legally married.

Now, she is married to her husband, not her ex. If the husband doesn't want her to go and she goes, it may bring up issues later on. Moreover, if the Poland is sure, why not be patient with her husband for them to go there later. A marriage of one week old is a very young one, does she want to just end it without giving it proper thought?

If she feels taking the scholarship is best for her, let her sit with her husband and see if they can work up a plan that will benefit the marriage.

Whatever decision she takes, she should put her marriage into consideration. She is very married, put aside white wedding talks. Traditional marriage is not engagement party.

Hi, you probably uploaded just one of your three BN forms. Scan them into one batch, the BN forms that is and upload them. Also, make sure to upload the payment receipt you downloaded from your page on their site. Those are the two documents that bring problems most times.

Or they are probably caught in the festive season, give them some time, that is if you are sure you uploaded the right documents.

To avoid this confusion, just go to the hospital. You have an infection obviously but go to the hospital so you can get sensible treatment...Don't scratch it so you don't spread it. When you go to the hospital, the doctor will direct you on the necessary test to run and treat you accordingly or you may not even need any test if your history is well taken and understood especially as you revealed you had a hair cut recently... Good luck...
