Naira20: Guy, it doesn't require great intelligence to get the basics in this issue.
One We won't want a Tinubu order us around as he has always dictated for Lagos. Two, We'll choose our own leader and not who a godfather like Oshiomole wants. Three, Obaseki may not be the best but we want freedom. Now concerning PO, When he visited Edo and Obaseki wanted to misbehave, they showed him in clear terms that we know what we are doing.
Summary, Edo people and most Nigerians want to take back governance. PO is the only person who will be responsible to Nigerians.
So forget all those gaslighting, Nigerians are smarter than you think. Some of you listen to fairy tales from propagandists, do you think you in Edo enjoy greater political freedom than those in Lagos? Tell me when last you genuinely elected a local govt chairman, your gov picks them and uses EDSIEC to validate them and you can do nothing. Tell me when a governor of Lagos has ever demolished the house or revoked C of O of a political opponent. Tell me when a Lagos governor ever refused to swear in duly elected members of house of Assembly cos they were from another faction. Many things political opponents do in Lagos u dare not do it in Edo under Obaseki, he would attack your business. You think the captains of industries that sites their business in Lagos feel harassment from Lagos govt? Interestingly it's the poor IPOB and misguided Edo boys that are claiming harassment, shouting Edo no be Lagos, before nko, them be mate? Lagos is a free land, it has its laws so obey it, it has its slums but also has by far the most beautiful settlements in Nigeria. You can never exercise the kind of political freedom u exercise in Lagos in Edo Obaseki would devour you. The two states are not mates, Edo is stuck in the stone age and I can understand why many of you would choose to remain in that age. Lagos has a Metro line, when would we have ours in Edo? Are we sons and daughters of a lesser god |

There's a huge difference. LOL now you are qualifying votes. All votes are equal and would be counted individually. In the end it's the number that would be tallied and they would bear not qualification. The handwriting is on the wall, Peter Obi will struggle with Kwankwaso for that all important position of distant third. In fact I see his supporters suing Kwankwaso over who actually came third. Nothing that Obidient mob cannot do!!! |

The "Edo no be Lagos" resonated across Nigeria.
I saw how boys dealt with compromised INEC staffs.
Osun state showed us another interesting angle.
It's now time for All of Nigeria to finish Tinubu's career.
It is POssible You got Obaseki with the Edo no be Lagos slogan, he has become the disaster before your very eyes. You still pride yourselves in commuting in ugly tuke-tuke buses while Lagos has moved on to electric speed trains. You may wish Obi for Edo but Nigerians will never wish Obi for Nigeria. Yes Edo can never be Lagos, 2.5m voters can never be 7m voters. You see the gap ? |

Anyway, I am from and based in Edo State. Organic or Inorganic, Peter Obi is the chosen one. Have you checked the national demographics? Nigeria is not same as our Benin City. Calm down, the whole of South South has 15m voters, a zone has 22m and another has 17m and they are not beating their chest like u. Obi wins Edo by small margin but loses Kano, Jigawa, Borno and Kwara Katsina by scandalous margins, what purpose is served? |

If elections are held today, Peter Obi of Labour Party will likely pull out about his best performance nationwide in Edo State. Benin City and Edo is about the epicenter of the Obi movement but it is not really because of the love of Peter Obi, it's more as a result of the loss of their first love. It's a product of high level frustration. Let me explain Obaseki by whatever means was able to use propaganda to discredit his predecessor, positioned himself as victim and our brothers from the east, fuelled by the IPOB sympathizing gang pushed the narrative of a heroic Obaseki and satanic Oshiomhole rooted APC from Edo (they all glossed over the injustice by Obaseki in refusing to inaugurate 14 (or 15) elected members of the House of Assembly, they glossed over his demolition of houses of political opponents). Unfortunately Obaseki became a disaster and turned against the same legacy PDP who have him shelter. He decimated the old PDP, their leader Dan Orbih virtually took flight to be staying with Wike in Port Harcourt. Their hope was that Wike would get the PDP presidential ticket so they can have their revenge on Obaseki but Wike lost it to Atiku and the moment he did, the legacy PDP and disillusioned former Obaseki crowd recoiled from PDP and found home with Peter Obi in Labour party. They became so fanatical in their support for Obi as an expression of their frustration with Obaseki and PDP. They could not go to APC for two reasons, firstly cos majority of them were never APC and secondly, the shame of swallowing their vomit after all their praise for Obaseki and insults to Oshiomhole was a pill too hard to swallow. If the legacy PDP faction in Edo did not fall out with Obaseki and the national, Obidients Movement in Edo won't be this strong. Benin City metropolis is fully Obidient, Edo Central, home of the Esans, perhaps only senatorial region in the whole of Nigeria that has never returned a single National Assembly seat for any party other than PDP since 1999, where PDP is a religion and they vote them by default even when they catch the aspirant raping their loved one has become Obidient and for the first time would deliver their votes against PDP for Labour Party. Only no-go area for Peter Obi is Edo North, home of Oshiomhole who is loved by his people for what he delivered as governor. So my permutation for Edo is that Labour wins, APC comes second cos of Edo North and PDP comes from the rear cos no segment of the state where they are popular right now. But know this and have peace of mind, the love for Obi in Edo is out of the pains of the loss of legacy PDP and disaster of Obaseki. And watch out, LP won't win any National Assembly seat in Edo, they won't win up to three house of Assembly seats, if they win any at all. This aggression for Peter Obi is very pointed, zero organic love for Labour Party. Ultimately Edo can never be Lagos or Kano. 2.5m voters can never be 7m voters or 5.9m voters. No matter how much you beat your chest, the minority can never torpedo the majority, votes would be counted and Obi will struggle with Kwankwaso for that covered position of distant third. Know this and have peace of mind |

They also released the pictures of the event and forgot to remove the two teleprompters stationed there for Tinubu to read from.
See the thread on front page here https://www.nairaland.com/7523532/tinubu-presents-economic-plan-nigerian and you will still see the teleprompters too
Also, curiously, the people at the even were mostly members of his team and so no external people were allowed into the hall to ask questions. See the teleprompters below... Some of you are really daft and you keep exposing and celebrating your daftness. Use of teleprompter is standard all over the world, every US president since Obama has used it regularly, when u see world leaders talking eloquently and starring at the tv, know it's a teleprompter so there was no need for Asiwaju team to crop it out as u suggested and your candidate would had done. Alesa3341: Hello Guys, please I need a sincere and matured advise on what to do. This will be long, please bare with me.
I'm 27, am a businessman, I have this girl I really love so much and intend to marry her this year December, but one thing about her is her bad character. She challenge me, talk back at me, shout at me, get angry with me for days, refuse to cook when she is angry, disrespect my family, most especially my mum, always trying to paint herself good and paint me bad in presence of people, these are just little of the things she has done to me.
When she lost her job, and had nowhere to go, I had to bring her to my house, and provide everything for her, food, I change her hair twice a month, subscribe unlimited for her, I just provided everything a woman need to be happy for her. Last year November, she told me she haven't seen her mum for 5years and wanted to travel to see her, I spent close to 200k to take her to and fro, including other things she needed. She insisted on collecting the bride price list for me when coming back, I spoke to her mum and they gave her to give me. I was planning to finalize all on the weeding this year.
Last year DECEMBER, I took her to my family to introduce her, but this was the biggest mistake of my life. She was completely disrespectful to my mum, talks to me anyhow in presence of anyone, even to the extent of refusing to cook for me anytime she is angry, I go to kitchen and prepare food myself.
I love this girl so much but I still thought of continuing, with all this attitudes, I advise her everyday, I also took her to my pastor who advise her too most of the times, but she never changes.
Fast forward to 2days ago, we had issues because she told me to join her in washing and I refused because I was working on a client project, she got angry, washed the clothes and when it was evening she brought the clothes inside, folded her own in the wardrobe and just threw mine into the wardrobe without folding or arranging them. I was angry about this, but I kept mute. The next day, she sent me "sorry" on WhatsApp, I told her to come to me physically and apologize but she told me she can never do that, and why was she even apologizing, that she did nothing wrong, we exchanged words and she left my house.
Today, she called me and told me she is pregnant, and that I should send her money to remove it. I was like "just like that"? We didn't discuss about it, how will you just tell me you want to terminate my pregnancy, I told her to go to hospital and confirm it and also get the test report, she did this and sent to me, it was true she is pregnant, but she insisted on removing it, I persuaded her and she still refused, claiming she can't be a single mother. I told her I will take responsibility, but she insisted on removing it, I told her to go home and think about it, and she told me she can't leave there without removing it. After so much persuading I decided to give her the money, and told her if she removed it, that it's on her, that I didn't consent to this.
I asked her why we can't keep it, and she said because my family is bad, we support evil, if the sky is blue, we say it's red, that my mother is a bad woman, and she doesn't want to come there. She said so many bad things about my family, I was shocked! I asked her, how are they bad, she said "how can my mother be telling her to wash my clothes" I was just confused, After all I have done for you, is it bad if you wash your husband to be clothes, I left her!
Later she told me the doctor referred her to another hospital, I still tried to persuade her and she said her decision is final. She asked me to give her money to go to the hospital she was referred to, I refused! I insisted that we keep the baby, she told me "I'm a nobody, that she will call now and she will get money to go" I angrily blocked her. Later, she called my other line and told me, she went to the other hospital and the doctor told her, the cost to remove the pregnancy is 125k, she told me and I insisted on keeping the baby.
Please guys help.me, I don't want to terminate my first child, the girl is too disrespectful and rude, I don't want to continue with such woman, but she is carrying my baby, what do I do? And if she later agree to keep it, how do I go about it?
You all are just saying "don't marry her" what about the baby? Should I agree to abort it and give her the money?
MODIFIED If this story is true then it means that you are a very bad man to have met, sustained and kept holding this kind of bad girl you have potrayed her to be. OP, you are a very bad man, stop disturbing our peace with this kinda rubbish |

Politics › Re: Atiku Sick, Flown To London From Dubai For Medical Treatment - Sahara Reporters by Odibembem: 5:20pm On Jan 08, 2023 |
trutharena: The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, is sick and has been flown to London, United Kingdom for treatment.
SaharaReporters exclusively learnt on Sunday that Atiku was flown from Dubai, United Arab Emirates to the UK.
This comes less than two months before the presidential election which is scheduled to hold on February 25, 2023.
“Atiku is not feeling fine; he is in the hospital receiving treatment,” a PDP Presidential Campaign Council source told SaharaReporters on Sunday.
We should be able to hear more about this from Reuben Abati and crew of Arise News tomorrow morning. Imagine if it was Asiwaju, imagine the excitement and pontification from the eunuch and traffic offender, Rufai Oseni, the most sanctimonious man on tv “That’s why he is not back in Nigeria for the presidential campaign. He was in Dubai but has now left Dubai for London for treatment. He has been flown to the UK for treatment. That is why he is still abroad.”
However, SaharaReporters could not confirm the nature of Atiku's ailment.
Last year, Atiku also visited Europe and at the conclusion of his European trip, the PDP presidential candidate visited Dubai.
The trip came about three weeks after Atiku met with Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike in London.
A statement issued by Paul Ibe, his media adviser said the trip was a continuation of an earlier business trip made three weeks earlier.
“He will be travelling immediately after his meeting on Friday in Lagos, with the leadership of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) alongside the PDP vice presidential candidate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta,” the statement reads.
“Today’s trip is in continuation of an earlier business trip of three weeks ago.
“At the conclusion of his European trip, the former Vice President will also use the opportunity to visit his family in Dubai.
“His trip is for business and family purposes and has nothing to do with medicals as being insinuated in some quarters.”
Atiku is known for spending most of his time in Dubai. For instance, he left for Dubai after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Muhammadu Buhari the winner of the 2019 presidential election.
The PDP presidential candidate was absent at the pre-Atiku Freedom March press conference held for him at the state Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Iyaganku, Ibadan, last Tuesday.

Very difficult to choose between them, Sheriff ordinarily should be a write off cos of the way Okowa railroaded him in without any antecedent of his own apart from that he is prepared to be Okowa's boy while Omo Agege carries the toga of someone that's very harsh without laying out what he would do differently to move Delta far beyond the Keke level it is presently. As for Labour Party, it's scandalous that despite the huge support Obi has in Delta, no one is even remotely projecting their gubernatorial candidate. Seems people are contented to only blame the FG and exonorate the State governors for the low quality of life of the people |

Felimax: You guys will just wake up, take some Igbo or kaikai and start posting trash.
Some of you youths in Delta State are the cause of the problem in Delta. Little did you guys know that for Lagos to work and grow in the projection it is now it was tough. With tough decisions taken everyday. Some of you youth in Delta most especially Delta South and central are really mad.
For Delta State to work in the manner Lagos is working the same or similar templates will be apply in the case of Delta.
Fashola will tell you if you are mad or you dey craze for your village don't come to Lagos to deface Lagos, this is written in almost every nook and cranny of Lagos. In Yoruba term they will say "Eko ni baje". When this slogan was addressed in Lagos alot of the miscreants defacing Lagos had no choice but to locate their village and some ran back to Delta as expected. Today we are glorifying Lagos forgetting how they were proactive to make Lagos the envy of other states.
That said:
The transport system in Delta State has always been a priority in the government architecture but the stupid people of Delta will always end up frustrating it.
From the Ibori regime to Uduaghan there has always been measures. Ibori brought in Toyota cars to help with transit but the good thieves of Delta collected them and took them as their personal properties. You will see it boldly written Delta Taxi well branded but Dem nor born you well make you stop am.
Uduaghan felt that project failed because it was solely managed by govt so he brought his own in large numbers and had it crisscrossing the length and width of Delta State. With AC tight you can get to the nearest or far LGA of your destination with small money but the same Deltans were the first to accuse him of stealing the funds to go and dump in foreign banks and when he was caught he changed his plans to buying buses and cars. Very foolish set of people.
The op must be a very ignorant fellow who probably was not born when this whole thing were happening.
In Delta State the people are the problem not the government.
The first Uduaghan empowerment program was to train and empower people and establish them. This project was equally frustrated like mad to the extent that most Deltans after they have been given their materials and financial resources they end up selling it off some use their own to travel abroad some went to get married.
The Op does not know that BOLT is fully functional in Warri and environs he is completely out of Delta State maybe he was writing from the desert of Libya. You obviously are a juvenile, a deliquent one for that matter hence you assume everyone is a "youth" whatever that means. After everything you have written insulting the people and completely exonorating the govt, you still came to same conclusion that there is a big challenge to the transport infrastructure in Delta. Govt has the instrument of coercion, that it's unable or unwilling to use that instrument is the biggest testament to it's failure. Bolt is in Warri I agree but is it in Asaba the state capital? Can u board a taxi within Asaba? Way back in 2003, taxis were playing Asaba but what happened to them? The regulation of mode of transportation is the exclusive reserve of govt, the govt speaks and enforces, the people toe the line or get punished. In Benin City, as ancient as they used to call it, you won't see Keke along Airport Road, GRA, Ring Road up to Akpakpava and New Benin, in fact in the entire central district, Keke are confined to the city outskirts. That's what govt do, they regulate, enact policies and enforce. Since you are a govt spokesman and apologist, whisper to them to enact decent regulations and enforce. |
Politics › Delta State And The Stigma Of Keke by Odibembem(op): 6:23am On Jan 07, 2023 |
Delta State for the past 20 years has always been among the top three in total revenue accruable from all sources in Nigeria. Yet the state has remained an embarrassment to itself and it's neighbors in terms of development. Take a look at it's transport infrastructure; the main means of transport in Asaba and Warri is Keke Napep. You cannot get a taxi or commercial bus plying the internal roads and streets of Asaba rather what you have are Keke which are even far more than the number of cars. Same applies to Warri; and the nuisance they cause is unbelievable, they cause uneccessary traffic cos of how they drive, they can hit you and tear your clothes and when they hit your car, they all gather to harass you and cause hold up. While Uber and Bolt are in nearby capitals like Benin City and Port Harcourt which makes commuting easy, Asaba still glories itself in d stone age of Keke. The govt has never deemed it fit to intervene directly like was done in Lagos state, get huge buses, perhaps double deckers, just ten of them is enough to serve the whole of Asaba and another ten for Warri to ease away these Keke. But the govt has enough money to buy so many buses for Atiku/Okowa campaign. For a rich state, it's a big shame. But the bigger tragedy is that even the residents of Delta don't seem to care, to them, Keke is a wonderful means of transportation and they have no idea others have moved far ahead of them. Delta should wake up, it's not a thing of pride that the third richest state in Nigeria is also the Keke capital of Nigeria. |

It happened that my wife was having emotional affairs with another man which i knew through her chat.
Though family and pastor were involved and have tried everything to resolve the issue between us. I have decided to forgive and forget and also give her a second chance even though it was a difficult situation for me, I decided to let go cos of my two daughters and don't want them to share from a broken home.
Now the issue am still having is that my wife has promise to change and be a better person and also promise to cut any emotional tile with the man. But I wasn't confident with that, so i told her to block this guy on all social media and also delete his number so there wont be any communication between them cos i sense if they both keep in touch, they might go back to what they were doing before. She got angry when i told her this and she said she can't block the guy cos they have been friends for many years even before she got married to me.
She started dating the guy last year under my roof and her reason was that i pushed her to do such act cos i wasn't giving her enough attention and love which is totally a lie.
So house, pls just let me know if i did wrong by telling her to block the guy or i over did it. I just felt blocking him will be best for us cos i noticed my wife is not fully detached from this guy emotionally.
Pls if you are in my shoes, what will you do house. If you want to get more insight about what transpired, you can go to my details nairaland.
Pls mod, help me by doing the needful. Most times I feel these kind of stories are not true, they are just created to generate traffic. How can a man, a real man stand a cheating wife and she would even have the guts to tell you she can't block the man she cheated with? Are u a man? You must be a very wicked person for a woman to do this to you honestly, you don't need any advice if this story is true (though I don't feel it is), you are a bad man for this kind of thing to happen to you. |
