I'm beginning to have a rethink after going through this thread. Maybe I can relocate to Gambia as well and continue my bakery business. What do you think
If you can make modern bread , it can sell but Gambians may not afford it because they are use to this kind cheap long bread.

Ive been craving for this Gambia for a long time because it's a small country and I like peace and tranquility. I want to ask:

1: is it a Christian or a Muslim country?
2: Which areas or states can you find lots of Nigerians?
3: Can our Nigerian food business thrive there?
1. Muslim country but liberal, not strong like Northern Nigeria own. A lot of Christian churches is available.
2. Capital Banjul and Serekunda
3. yes I think that area may have been saturated.

I mean the richest Nigerian, the person you mentioned is a Gambian. If you google it and get the name that shows you that the pharmacy is big. I left Gambia many years ago, atleast I got the name right whether is step or stop come first. No one is lying here. Chill men.

Thanks bro.

I will settle for either Rwanda, Tanzania and now probably Gambia. I was hoping for Germany. I have the opportunity to go, but I don't want to mess up my core African values. Go abroad, make plenty money, marry either a white woman and all your life ends there. Come back and marry a local woman, she gets there and becomes a titan.

I just weak. I want to be closer to home. Enjoy Lagos, Abuja, Calabar(my home state) and shuttle between Nigeria and any of the aforementioned that I decide to settle. I like peace.
You make a good choice. People living in Europe have a problem of maintaining their heritage. Your children become Europeans and behave like them. If one marry white, the person future generation is lost entirely.

I've been here for almost 2yrs now. 4 months after my NYSC, I left Nigeria for internship in a research institute. I'm stoll working there anyway. My only regret is to have stayed in Nigeria 4months after service. Wasted 4 fucking months grin grin

Just stay focus with whatever you plan to achieve here, it might sound like a cliché, focus focus focus!!
But trust mw, that's the motto here for a serious minded Nigerian. You hustle like you know no one and trust me, it might be rough at first oo, but things will surely fall into right places for you.
Man how is Gambia now, I miss my Fula and Madinka babes, good old days grin grin

How power supply in Gambia?
I want to tour more than six African countries before this year ends. I have achieved three already. Working towards Senegal by August!
Power supply is 24hours most of the time with some interruptions in Gambia capital area Banjul and Serekunda. So power supply can be termed good.

I am trying to say that the stronger the currency the harder to get it. The richest man in Gambia is step stop pharmacy from Imo state. White people work for him in his biggest pharmacy shop in that country. No Nigerian living in Germany is richer than him. I am just comparing how I cannot afford a flat in Germany but can afford it comfortably in Gambia.

You can go through road, it will take you 6 days.
From Cotonu to Bamako, Mali 3 days from Bamako to Senegal-Gambia 3 days. It may reach 7 days.

I lived in Gambia between 2010 to 2013. The place is good place to stay however poverty rate is high. Note with about 700K you will be managing.

Banjul and Serekunda which is their capital and commercial area is not that underdeveloped as in you will find topclass shops in any business field. You will see more beautiful hotels in Kololi than the ones in Nigeria.

In all the reason I am saying this is for you to know that the place is not so backward like that unless if you go into the provinces like Birikama, Farafeni or Basse which is not advisable. So you should be prepared for challenges.

Resident permit is not a problem, with small money you get it and renew it every year.

If you see big aunt girls joke with them. Join your age mate in visiting events and shows.

Born again mean baptism.

If after your been born again you are still having sex and committing other sin, that will show you that born again issue is just striving to obey the word of God.

Church you belong to won’t take you to heaven rather your good work. Stop been deceived by denominational doctrine differences.

Catholic Church is good church, stop condemning Catholics that you are saved after leaving the church because your leaving the church have not make you to stop committing sin.

Even Nigeria itself is man made creation. Real definition of hypocrisy. You want your own country and forcing other people into your so called country just as Nigeria is forcing you to stay. Since you don't want to stay in Nigeria, let others who don't want to stay in your so called country be.
Have you conducted a referendum in those areas to know that they don’t align with Igbos or you are clinging to the voice of few Igbo haters. Tomorrow you will say that Yorubas in Kwara or Kogi are not Yorubas because they in the northern divide. Nzeogwu from the same Anioma in Delta State did a coup and you people call it Igbo coup.

They created everything they are against in Nigeria today.
* Aguıyı Ironsi abolished the same Regional Government that, Igbos are clamouring for today.
* Nnandi Azikiwe removed Referandum from the Constitution.
* An Igbo président created the Cattle routes across the Country in the 60's.
It shows that Igbos meant well for Nigeria and want Nigeria to be a progressive nation but you people hate them.

all what you just said that I highlighted are hearsays without proofs. If he wanted to die or came to die for your sin, why did he cry to God when he faced death on the cross?. Does this sound like someone trying to die for you? grin

Matthew 27:45-50

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

you better speak for yourself on this one because you guys have different doctrines. Someone already posted up there not point ago that Jesus is God and he created the world. And besides, since you believe he's not, how about this Bible verse that claimed Jesus is God?

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" - Isaiah 9:6
John 10:18, NIV:
Jesus said;
"No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father. ... I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again.

You have no choice now but to embrace Islam. What you just said go against many christian doctrines out there. Are you Yorùbá or do you understand Yorùbá?

If so, did you ever heard Christian sang these songs?

O se o Jesu a o ma yin o

O se o Jesu Olohun....

Another song

Leyin Jesu ko si enikan ooooo

Oba mimo ni oba ti mo n sin

Leyin Jesu ko si enikan ooooo

Alagbara ni oruko re

grin grin cheesy

In these songs and many more like them, they raised status of Jesus to Almighty God and Creator

Lo ba tan grin
Yes they are still correct because Jesus said I and my father is one. A glory to the father is to the son and vice verse. We have God the Father (Almighty God), Son and Holy Spirit. 3 person in one God but only one God.

Jesus Christ is a mighty God but not Almighty God. The Almighty God (Elohim, Jehovah etc ) is the greatest, the creator of everything knowingly and unknowingly of him there is no painting, picture, image etc

So you mean John 5:30, Act 2:22,

"And will make him ['Iesa (Jesus)] a Messenger to the Children of Israel (saying): "I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I design for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah's permission; and I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I bring the dead to life by Allah's permission. And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses. Surely, therein is a sign for you, if you believe." Q3:49

Deuteronomy 10 vs 21

He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.

You can see from those verses that Jesus did not perform any miracles. God did. As for John 11: 45 I don't need to explain that to you. It doesn't prove anything
Have Christians told you that Jesus Christ came to the this world by his own huh?. God Almighty send him to this world to become an everlasting sacrifice for remission sins by dying on the cross and to break the power death by his resurrection. Christians believe that all power belong to Almighty God which he gave Jesus Christ to do while on Earth.

So what is your argumenthuh?

1 Corinthians 15:14-19

If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.

And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith

More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised.

For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.
Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world.

Jesus was not ressurected. Your faith is in vain and those who have died believing in Christianity have perished. There is nothing like ressurection of Jesus. Jesus was either dead or was not killed. But both ways because according to the book of JOB 7:9 and Hebrew 9:27.

If Jesus was dead then you need to answer why he said these

“….Jesus himself stood in their midst, and said unto them, Salam Alaikum

“….But they were terrified, and supposing that they were seeing a spirit.

“And he said unto them,….

“Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me and see; for a spirit has no flesh and bones, as you see me have.

“And showed them his hands and feet.

“And while they yet believed not for joy and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?

“And they gave him a piece of broiled fish, and of a honeycomb.

“And he took it, and did eat before them.” Luke 24:36-43

Ressurection of Jesus was fraudulent by Bible writers
Keep on deceiving yourself by misinterpretating the Bible Muslim man.

John 20:24-29
Jesus Appears to Thomas

24 Now Thomas(A) (also known as Didymus[a]), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!”

But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side,(B) I will not believe.”(C)

26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace(D) be with you!”(E) 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”(F)

28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed;(G) blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
