Is possible to get job outside Germany but the guy narrative is very strange since one need health insurance to get a German work visa in the first place, so what is he looking for another health insurance for and Germans don’t easily allow remote work outside Germany because of issue of tax meaning one can hardly get paid remote work if living outside Germany as OP said he did. The old midwest is complicated, they are basically minorities of the old Western Region who were given their own Region in 1963 so as to make Western Region a 'Yoruba only' area.

Midwest today are more aligned with Eastern Nigeria due to proximity and politically however some parts of Edo and Delta will like to have their own country Niger Delta Republic.
