I still don't understand why this two tribes called Yoruba and Igbo hate each other so much
Can someone enlighten me?
What's the cause of this hatred ?
Why do they hate each other so much? I do not really think that they hate each other.Igbos were late to civilization and it really pained them when they woke up to reality that only Yorubas are far ahead of them in Nigeria and the world in almost all facets of life. Development,Economy,Industries,Professors,Universities,Artists,Politicians,Infrastructures,Businesses,GDP,IGR etc....just name it,the Yorubas are leading. Go and read about the history of Nigeria and you will know that the Igbo leaders had always known that the only tribe to measure up to is the Yoruba tribe who had always had one over the Igbo. Go and read the story of Esau(had Igbo tendency)and Jacob(had Yoruba tendency) and you will understand. It is all about competition and bloated ego. |

RevenGeMission: Reserves / settlements won't cause trouble, the forest is there , they can graze it to desert all they want as long as they don't litter the roads with cows or go into people's farm
Subsidizing won't work either , several people i fought with on this forum will always say Buhari is favoring his northern brothers and bring up why Ibos don't get subsidy on their containers or their goods, they will turn it into propaganda and spite Buhari even more , besides that , if you had an idea how many cattle rearers are in the country , ranching wouldn't go around , at least not in the initial stage , so calculate how much money it would cost to bulldoze , provide ranch , provide feeds for the animals e.t.c
, I have been on this forum since 2010 , everything changed in 2014 , i have seen , conversed and met with lots of people , Ibo members on this forum are full of hate and resent , i know how they think and that's why i don't take it easy whenever i get insulted by one of them, they always oppose everything , throw away opportunities and turn around to blame everybody else for their own fuckups I think ranches will work better and it is going to be a gradual process which will satisfy everybody. The cows will always wander off and into private areas which would cause serious problems between the herders and the natives. Wait, why don't the governments do the yearnings(ranches) of the majority of Nigerians and see the blessings therein. Ranches will solve a lot of problems, sir. |

Ozibe: I have patiently studied the argument as to which zone should produce the Vice president and I noticed that while the igbos listed names which no one can doubt there profile and pedigree. Some name cropping out of the southeast include
Ngozi Okonjo Iweala
Peter Obi
Osita Chidoka
Prof Bart Nnaji
Prof chukwuma Soludo
Eyinnaya Abaribe
Arunma Oteh
Chike obi
Chidi Odika kalu
Oby Ezekwesili
Dr moghalu

Etc
For the south west, I only noticed the only name they could put forward was Akinwumi Adesina, which make me wonder if that is the only world class technocrat they can produce, knowing fully well how the Yoruba's brag as being educated and having quality education.
I was even expecting them to list kemi adeosun, Baba tunde fashola and Osinbajo but they seem to have accepted that big grammar doesn't translate into being a well grounded technocrat or intelligence, know fully well how much of a failure they are.
The Yoruba claims to be more and better educated than the igbos is a sham, big lie and an illusion.
In fact, I can remember when they always tell the Igbo don't have presidential materials that can lead the country and I begin to wonder if these guys truly know the array of brains and talents the igbos possess which will be a challenge for them if they were to chose one, and it is also on record that Akinwumi Adesina got to become the president of ADB through the influence of NOI. Please respect the igbos, they aren't your mates in any field, except skull mining. Ozibe: Remove Lagos which is 30-40% Igbo, the southwest is roughy 8 million, which is same with the five states in the southeast.
Abeg the south west voting strength is a myth.
Jonathan lost to Buhari not because of southwest voted for APC, but for the voter apathy in the southeast.
PDP must not make that mistake again. They must pick their vice president from south east and almost make effort to encourage them to vote. If igbos comeout to vote massively, they are the most influential voting block in the south because they can influence vote outside their region and they also give block vote which is very critical and absent in the south west.
Igbos are wiser now, nobody should take them for a ride this time again, especially this young generation that is still angry with the Nigerian federation. If not, they will boycott the elections and PDP loses and e no go concern them. Them go face their business and huslte Do you mean that Igbos electorates in Lagos....or is it SW....are up to 6 million and Yoruba electorates are only 8 million in the whole of their native SW? |

PrettyCrystal: A 25-year-old bricklayer from Ijebu-Igbo who was kidnapped in Ibadan, Oyo state, last month, has revealed how he was freed from the den of the men of the underworld.
Speaking with Omo Edema in an interview in Lagos after he was reportedly rejected by the arrowhead of the ritual killers because of a scar on his head, he said:
“I am a bricklayer. I went to work at Ojoo in Ibadan last week Monday(10/9/2018). And on Wednesday I was still on the work plastering an ark on the building. Then a man came around and told me he liked the way I was doing the work. He later introduced himself as a civil engineer and requested for my phone number with a promise to call and give me job to do on his building contracts.
“l live in Ijebu-igbo in Ogun state. And I returned home in the week. In the following Sunday (16/9/2018), the man called me; in fact I was in the church when his call came in, telling me to come to Ibadan immediately that there was a job for me there. I told him I had no transport fare. And he said I should send my account number to him to credit it with the fare. As I did, he sent ₦2,000 to me. Just as I withdrew the money, I headed for Ibadan.
“As I got to Ibadan, I called to inform him and he told me to wait for him at Iwo road. So, I waited for him at a restaurant there. He came shortly but with one other man. They both came in a Toyota Camry car. The other man drove while the engineer seated by him in the front. They asked me to come in to the back seat of the car. And I asked them of the location of our destination. They told me that the job was somewhere immediately after Ojoo.
“Like about 5 minutes or so after I have entered with them, the man driving the car was now asking from the engineer if he’s sure that I would be able to do the job they were about giving to me. And the engineer replied him that he had seen my work before. It was at this point that the man on the steering stretched his hand to me at the back to give me a handshake. As our palms touched each other, that was the last thing I knew.”
According to Osinlowo, he got hypnotised through the handshake and before he got back to his senses he was already in the bush.
“They took me into a thick bush where there were short rocks like stools. There was no building there. They sat me down on one of the rocky stools and very close to me was an elderly woman seated on the ground. I was hearing mixed noise of people on the other side of the bush but could not tell what was actually going on there.
“The first day I was not fed, but on the second day they came to feed me. When it was the third day, they came to shave off the natural dreadlocks on my head to the scalp with a razor.
“In the twilight of the third day, an elderly man came to the spot and asked that where is the person said to have been brought by ‘Foka’. They told him I was the person. The old man shouted on me ‘stand up’. As I did, I went closer to him and he asked them that where was the hair they shaved off from my head. They brought it to him. And he saw that it was deadlock.
"He now asked me that what happened to my head because there is a scar on my head. I told him I was still a little boy when I got wounded. Then he questioned further that the scar is how old and I told him that my younger brother they gave birth to when the incident happened is now 21 years of age".
"The man now faced the men and told them that he has been warning them not to bring people with scar to him anymore. He later told them that he would not be able to do anything with me because of the scar on my scalp. He then left us there and went his way.”
Osinlowo said in the night of the day the old man rejected him, 2 men came to tie his hands with rope and his face with wraps of cloth and was dragged into a vehicle.
“As they took me into the vehicle, I noticed the vehicle began to move. After driving for a while, they later untied my hands and face and shortly they dropped me down from the vehicle on a bridge with a warning that if I stand up from where they dumped me, they would come back to shoot me.
“Immediately their vehicle began to zoom I too began to shout ‘thief’, ‘thief’, but they have zoomed off . It was the RRS Police around the place that told me I was in Lagos. The policemen now contributed little money for me to enable me return home".

It was so obvious that the award was compromised, Igbos made nollywood. You asked if Igbos can beat you Yoruba in anything Yes of course, neutral competition Yorubas are no match to Igbos, for 17 years now Igbos has been beating you in education, entrepreneurship your people are no match to Igbos, the organizers are dumb to cover their tribalism nature, it was so obvious, starting from musicians that performed to the awards .
You asked Igbos best Yoruba in anything Below is picture of one out of many Anything shrouded in criminality like Miracle Centre infested WAEC is what you can beat Yoruba in but when it comes to a fair playing ground which does not allow Igbos to cheat, they are always mostly below Yorubas. Apart from your 1 award from technovation,Yorubas have been proven to be the best in technology, education and business not 2×2 shop trading which Igbos dominate all over. Typical Igbo inferiority complex, victim complex and generational lamentations is all I could comprehend.
The report did not also forget to blame the Yorubas for the parochial, clannish and rebellious image that Igbos themselves associated with what they celebrate as an Igbo beer, yet wonder why it does not have any appeal among Nigerian nationalists.
More like a Yoruba Fuji artiste wondering why he does not have appeal among Fulanis, Igbos and Ijaws, after deliberately striving to carve an ethnic and partisan niche for his musical talent.
I will urge the aggrieved party to petition the UN and ICC as they are wont to do, on this affront on an endangered specie.
