I honestly do not mistake you for an atheist, I just think you might be a lil off the line and likely to fall if you don’t put your self back in the faith. God didn’t make us to be our own gods. Being gods is the decision mankind made in the inception. Everyone must be tested to reveal their true nature just as job was tested to reveal his true nature. Don’t think bc you’re getting the result means you’re on the right path. Not every result is positive, the evil minded person sees a negative result as positive too. Now before you’ll question why you think God hasn’t answered your prayers, you must first ask yourself what kinda leaguers have you been praying? Do you pray realistically or do you pray unrealistically? Some pray for money, others pray for car while others pray for even more ephemeral things, do you understand those are man made things and only man can give himself that? God gives you something more precious than that. God cares more about your soul than he cares about your body so you have to factor that every time you await your answers. Are those things going to lead you away from the path of life? If yes, why then should God give you? Just imagine now, you’ve been stepping away and falling away from reality bc you think you’ve been getting answers, what if this is why God didn’t answer in the first place bc you’ll fall away? Still you thought God didn’t do right by you and became your own god, creating a subjective reality where you can do no wrong so now you’re bending the rules to suit this subjective reality by stating that God made you to be god. This is not so bro. Find your path back to life, start seeing life more holistically and not target reality on your limited perception. We all have limited perception of the reality so we must always factor that into our existence.

Your answers is no difference from what every pastor, preacher, evangelist gave. The idea of me asking unrealistic things is laughable, I'm not a baby to asked for irrelevance things. If I do a legit work and not an illegal work and get results there's nothing EVIL ABOUT.
what are the things that will lead me away from the path of righteousness? You have no idea of what I asked for, things don't take away my conscience, so the excuse of "If given I might be lead away" is baseless.

I didn't declare myself a God, I simply work towards my needs instead of asking for it.
If you asked your father as a wealthy man for your first semester school fees and he refused, you failed your exams due to your inability to pay your fee. The same thing happens 2nd semester, his excuses are "it's not the right time to pay your school fee"... you decide not to ask him anymore, you hustle for your own money and pay your fee.... What crime have you committed against him?

There categories of lustful men, kindly state the category you want us to discuss.

Are we to discuss the ones their wives actions pushed them into lust?

Are we to discuss those influenced by bad friends?

Are we to discuss those influenced by their job nature?

Are we to discuss the irredeemable ones?

Are we to discuss the addicts with high uncontrollable libido?

The category they fall in will determine solution and contribution I can give.

Praying for a cheat to change is like giving him/her a FULL license to go on cheating spree.

According to the teachings of Jesus Christ, work refers to the individual acts of accepting(trusting) and obeying(action) the commandments/teachings of Jesus Christ, the New Covenant.
Faith is a collection of the works done by you following the lead by the Spirit of God i.e. the Will of God.

Who does your explanation of WORK correlate with my work I'm referring here? I'm talking about work known by every human, that little you do to get a reward afterwards....that's the work I'm referring to do. What does trusting, accepting and obeying have to do with physical work?

I never brought in the idea that prayer is not answered as a result of sins. In fact, I don't buy that reasoning because it is not based on what Jesus Christ Himself, the one who defines what sin is, taught His disciples.

Excuse me for thinking out loud for a moment....

* When we ask for forgiveness, God does not forgive us some of our sins, but all of them. So when God has forgiven me all of my sins, why then would God immediately penalize me(refuse to answer my requests) because of Sins He has already forgiven me for?

* Yeah, there is more to it than the claim that it is because of sin. And if sin, should I know which sin it is? I mean there are only about 46 commandments in total in the New Covenant, the Law as far as the Kingdom of Heaven is concerned, so it doesn't help to arbitrarily claim that my requests were denied because of sin?

* If I accept(trust) and obey the teachings of Jesus Christ yet I continue to wonder why God has yet to give me the ice-cream I asked Him for 2 weeks ago, it makes no sense to conclude that sin is the reason for the delay given I already obey His teachings and according to Him, that means I am free from sin.

Sin is disobedience of the commandments/teachings of Jesus Christ- He is the New Covenant that defines what is sin as far as the Kingdom of Heaven is concerned. And according to Jesus Christ, those who are sinners are slaves to sin but those who choose to accept(trust) and obey His teachings are those who are declared Sons of God for they are made free from sin as a result of their Obedience. John 8

Now, according to the same Jesus Christ, it is those who are Sons of God that abide in Him(they obey His commandments) and He and His Father will abide in. John 15

So what does it profit a one who claims to believe in Jesus Christ that he chooses to continue to live in sin by hi refusal to accept(trust) and obey the teachings/commandments of Jesus Christ.

The Topic discussed was on prayer and faith, in the cause of discussion you brought in the lines of prayers not being answered because of sins (as expected) you have no idea why and what the reason for unanswered prayer was.

I don't wanna drag on as long as you're too afraid to answer my questions.

now i see your angle. You are a Christian as i can see my sympathy for your lost.its well.in deed God is faithful. Let me start by hailing you for praying for 10years without working. You tried but after 10years you stoped praying and got to work. Boom result start coming. Now what it means is that God have answered your prayers the first day you seek his face in praying but since you are ignorant of the fact that you have to do something you didnt see the result.i told you any prayer that leaves 100% responsibility is wrong. Now after praying for 10 years on a this particular issue you now start working and result start coming. Thank God you worked God is not going to come down to earth and work the work you are meant to do.so seeing that you prayed and now work is still God because the bible said He is the one that giveth us power to make wealth. You went through a wilderness experience but you didnt learn anything. His God his ways are not our ways after praying to him for 10 years you now give up on him.prayer is a communication between you and God when you pray listen to hear his voice for direction. Let me give you a more "relevant" scenario.

As a person you loss your parents at your teenage when you were preparing for your higher institution, their death halted that ambition because they were to be your sponsor.
You prayed for a miracle, for a sponsor to show up. You've been dedicated and fervent in your prayers for 10 years and nothing happens. You woke up to reality that prayers aren't making no difference, you quit praying and start working towards sponsoring yourself, you did all kinds of hard labours, saved to achieve your ambitions, after 2 years of rigorous hard labours and saving... You take on your ambition and got your ambition... Can you you attribute this success to prayers or to your hard works? Please be honest and sincere.

I agree with everything except that your last paragraph isn't the whole truth. Enjoyment is as real as suffering... In the moment. If enjoyment is an illusion, then suffering (including delayed gratification) is also an illusion.

It then follows that in this grand, meaningless, illusory existence of ours, it only makes sense to choose the most pleasurable illusion available to you.... Which is enjoyment!

The scriptures said Watch and.pray that's the instructions...

Prayers works....and it has worked for me and still working...

You won't get answers if you're sinning

You won't get answers if you don't BELIEVE....you must believe and you must be a believer.....


Having said that let me give you few instances...

I resigned from my previous work place at the thick of Covid19 ...

Then had many interviews got to the final stages for 95% of those yet offers weren't coming...I had near offer issues .

I got tired, ingore some invite and then went to God I prayers ..

In fact I joined a deliverance session and within the same week I had two offers

By the end of that month, I had more offers

Offers with good pay and flexible working conditions that I was able to combine two of those....

And more kept coming that I have to turn them down

God answers prayers ...pray right and HE WILL ANSWER

I know I'll get the usual lines "my prayers wasn't answered because of sins" but if I ask what was that sins I won't get an answer.


Why should you pray and work? Where is the God factor in that if your work for it?
