Can someone tell me the cheapest means of sending goods from Europe to Nigeria.
Specifically from Holland to Nigeria, apart from sending through friends.

200 nautical miles is measured perpendicular to the shore, that's 90 degree to the shoreline. So Nigeria 1, measure your 200 miles at right angles to the shores of ondo and tell us how you arrive in delta and bayelsa shores

I am questioning the statistics that says the North comprises of half of the nation's populace.

Maybe we should ask the Aboki that was in charge of the last census. he might be able to give the population figures before it was inflated and deflated

85% of the nations revenue comes form oil. The north does not provide more than 7% of the remaining 15% or you think they provide 10% of the nations income?
The question is what % of the nation revenue do the north consume? even if you say they provide all the non oil revenue.

This can not continue. What i purpose is a constitution amendment to allow other state, mostly the northern state  to balance up the financial gap created by derivation. By changing the constitution to allow state to collect taxes ,  the follow taxes directly not through the federal inland board(NOWAY), but through their own state tax board system.  

1 personnal  taxes,
2 Education Tax,
3 . companies income tax,
4 . Value Added Tax,
5 import and excise fees
6  Customs Special levies
7  the FIRS PAYE
8. PTF


This way the north and other state can make up for the wide disparity in revenue. If not in 4 or  5 years the 19 northern state would go into bankruptcy.

If the the north want to get money, they have to sit up and earn it.

The north has always been bankrupt. so don't talk of being bankrupt in 4 yrs time. where a region with about 50% of the population generate less than 7% of the nation revenue, how do you call that.

I`m a top technician fixing German cars. I work in USA and have 12 years experience with latest German cars like BMW, MB, Audi, Porsche.
I have state of the art factory diagnostic equipment and all necessary tools and knowledge to work on those cars. A lot of my costumers is from Nigeria. they all say I should go to Nigeria and open the shop fixing German cars because there is not much mechanics who can fix latest MB or BMW. I thing that`s a good idea to do it and planning visit Lagos in September to get more detailed info and see the country.

Coming to invest in Nigeria is challenging, for one, most westerners who have not been to Nigeria will discourage you from going there. Both those who have been lived there hardly want to leave Nigeria.

In the line of business you have identified, you could easily get great patronage in any state capital in Nigeria, but i would advice you to start either in Lagos or Abuja.

With respect to security as a westerner, don't worry about that, as long as you are not going to the Niger Delta, which is 600KM away from lagos and you do not intend to go to the oil industry, you have no problem.

Lagos is like any other world city, even in the US, you wouldn't walk in many cities by 2 AM in the morning.
1 thing you have to arrange before setting up is having reliable spares supply channel.

If you can get OEM spares for the cars you are dealing with, then you will make alot of money in Nigeria.

where do you hope to get money at 5% per annum. even world bank interest rate will be higher than that.
