No o. Only mum can not consent. U must get the consent from dad and at least one of dad’s documents.

Google guarantor’s form nigerian immigration portal.. it shud come up where u fill in ur app and reference id and then the form opens up

Na lie. My family members did it themselves there. They paid only 26k each online and scaled thru. As long as you have all your documentation and know ur rights noone can force ur money out of your pocket.

U must be sharp at all times, patient but firm.
U people should stop under estimating the customer service number, it has been dropped here several times, even on this page... use it and make ur complaints if anyone is makin u pass through difficulties!

Very possible. Although they will squeeze face tire and then try to frustrate u but diy is done there. As long as u can capture, passport will come out.

Everyone will pay standard fee, if u then need priority service, this is an extra fee that u will pay. So u must pay for ur visa fees first. When u get to tls platform then u can pay for priority or super priority

Anything more than this belongs to the officer.
I tell people this, because of the massive corruption goin on in immigration office, stop waiting till u need the passport next week before coming here to complain and complain of not gettin booklet.

U are trying to break through a system which encourages corruption big time and as such it won’t be easy.

If u want to do ur passport, DIY method... and say u need it in 3 months or so, start now.. do not wait because u see this road cud get lonely, but in the end when u do all urself without enriching one cow and triumph and save ur money, you will understand how good all of this feels.
I encourage everyone to do as much as u can and read as much as u can on this thread. Barely few pages and some of us dnt want to read. DIY works in every state, I noticed it’s more in the southern states our ppl treat us this way... has anyone from the North come to complain of how no booklet or how he cudnt get thru the process?

No. Sorry to say, but this is the way it works in Nigeria and unfortunately in only part of our dear country. Stop complaining and pick urself up.

A lot of ppl have gone through ur path and dropped their experiences, u might learn one or two tricks in dealing/escaping the thieves.

@ shallypop, you can bring your kids along with you if you need their support or need them to have a little time with mummy.

However do keep in mind the effect this will have on you and your studies..and settling in also.. and then find out your options with airlines and they going back as unaccompanied minors.
U won’t have to go back with them if you choose this option.
Different airlines have their different policies with age restrictions and all that but this service is top notch and stressless for them. Google unaccompanied minors for each airline you might want to use for them and check the policy.

When they land in Nigeria, they will also only be handed over by the airline to whosoever you have designated as their pick up person. Only this person. Goodluck

Once there is an error on a self application, can it corrected instead of making another payment online.

I didn't include my middlename while applying since the field was optional.

Getting to the Alausa office, after the document coupling process was done. The officer (Mrs Ayeni) insisted that the middlename must be included because I have the middle name on my NIN. I wrote an application for it to be included she has suggested.

After a day of submission, she said it was frowned by her boss therefore I need to make another payment before capturing.

I checked for the correction of name on the website but it's only applicable to those who have a passport already.

Right now I'm thinking of giving the capture a try or make another payment and resubmit the necessary document again.

Hmm they can edit it for you before printing. I dnt know why you have met such a mean person... anyway with NIN in place I dnt know if it’s possible to bypass for now. Paying another application fee is a lot in this economic situation... i suggest u revisit the centre and possibly head to servicom or find the customer care line of NIS that was posted on this thread few days ago and ask for further guidance.

Non straightforward email is for when decision has NOT been made and they are just letting u know as they are behind time on making the decision. Go and prepare for ur interview

7. Mother’s letter as above.. separate. Not joined with father’s own
8. Baby’s birth certificate copy and original for sighting
9. Driver’s licence of either parent (optional)
10. 2 pssport puctures of baby
11. Applicatipn form printed from online platform, paymenlt slip and acknowedgmt slip all bearing baby’s name
12. Office grey and black file.
13. If mother changed surname on her passport, marriage certificate, change of name and newspaper publication.. or if she has a different surname on her passport.

Who else did his/ her passport at festac, I did my capturing on the 14th of November, 2 months now and I'm yet to receive my passport. They initially told me in 2 weeks time, I called and they said it wasn't ready.
I called again and they told me the booklets aren't ready but if I can part with some money, they will get it for me before Friday.
Who else is having same issue?

If you are doin your passport in Lagos, Abuja or Ph you need NIN.

I don’t know the test is free. My friend who visited Nigeria paid about 40k naira online @ncdc website before he boarded flight to Nigeria. After the payment he was given appointment to take the test at 54gene Lab Abeokuta.

private labs are not free.

It is 26k. Read the thread or u click on my name and find out steps to renewal. Al the information u need is on the immigration portal + application letter for renewal, application form, acknowledgmnt slip, payment slip, passport photographs and nin slip.

I also did mine early last year before COVID-19 issue but mine was a lost case. I hope you still know your passport number. And I’ll advice you head to Ikoyi cos I did all the process by myself and got it in a week. Tho when I got to servicom, they asked me who is processing it for me and I told them I’m doing it myself. They told me it might take forever and they weren’t attending to me. I had to check online and get the customer care line in Abuja, I spoke to someone and reported their conduct and I was asked to give the phone to the office at Servicom, he was angry after the conversation but processed my file and it was signed same day. You’ll also write a letter and attach too. They wrote on my file “SELF PROCESSED” and I stil got my passport in a week. They don’t like it when you process it yourself. It cost me less, cos I paid for it myself, their is a lady at a cafe beside that gave me a form to fill cos I did my print out there.

Pls can you give us the customer care number?

U can do *346# to retrieve ur national identity number sha if your phone number was registered to it

The amount you saw is for fresh passport application, since it's renewal you want to do kindly direct your questions to Oggg. Yes Ikeja is DIY friendly just be smart don't go and sit down too much under the canopy

Fresh or renewal all adults and children applyin in Lagos, Abuja and Rivers will pay 26k

For other centres, adults pay 17,800 And then old people(60 and above) and children pay 11,300

Please I want to renew my passport and I have been following the discussion here so as to do DIY on lagos. I logged into the immigration website and filled all the necessary information.

When it was time to pay the amount was 25,000 as against 17,000, I want to ask if that's the correct amount for passport renewal.

And please is Ikeja centre DIY friendly and what are the procedures there,do they waste time?. I plan to do it there as that's closer to me.

All centres in lagos pay 26k. 1k extra is for bank charge and yes thats cause it’s the enhanced passport.
