I've been following this thread for a while now. I was at NIS office in Gwags today. An officer told me it will cost me N35,700 to get my epassport (32 pages) ready as against N25,500 currently mandated online.

U can renew up to 6 months before it expires without explnation. Anything before this you would explain and explain and possibly bribe or at least have connection.

Pls read this thread. All the information is online on this thread. U can do it urself, it costs only 26k to renew passport in lagos. U dnt have much to provide sef as u have an old passport u want to renew. Pls check here

How do I get a guarantor and when I go for capturing? I applied online.

Pls log back into your application using ur application id and reference id and print out ur guarantor’s form with ur name below

Thanks so much for the quick response. However while filling the form, it was only 5 years option that was available for both 32 pages and 64 pages. I thought there is a 64 pages - 10 years option. Can you please clarify this?

Have u got passport before? I dnt think 1st timers are allowed to choose 10 years or people less than 18 years.

U wont see enhanced passport. Enhanced passport is the name given to it by the Nigerian govt to differentiate it from e-passport.
For now, there is no form on the immigration website that writes enhanced passport.
Pls go ahead and choose standard passport.

That’s the wrong rate. Bureau de change use bdc rate on same abokifx not parallel rates and thats what we should be using.. not high rate always... That’s why people are running..

Post office in Uk or those money exchange shops close to post office in Startford, London.
But u will lose twice as u are buying currency twice. Kindly purchase pounds from Nigeria. This is the best option that saves u from massive loss

Paga’s rate is better. Try and go that route. Flutterwave on the other hand uses blackmarket rate.

I responded on how to make the correction he just going back and forth of the offence and penalty.

I suggest u write it this way. Think well, come up with a cogent reason to explain the discrepancies in the date of birth and how u tried to do a correction legally.
U were told only this officer in Abuja could help.. ... you have the name of this officer, write a petition addressed to the Comptroller General Immigration HQ Abuja, sign it and put in pdf format and send to nis.complianceteam@immigration.gov.ng with all details.
How can ur money go like that. Report it officially please.


OR you start with the person that linked u up to this fellow, get on a bus to Abuja and find him and collect ur money one way or another. Go to his office or his home and display and get ur money!!!! 100k is a lot in this time and day.

Early this morning, I used NetPost to pay online for my Nigerian International passport renewal and just before I could print out my payment slip and acknowledgement slip, I was taken back to the previous page.

I need help and need the aforementioned slips to enable me process my International passport renewal as soon as possible at Asaba, Delta state. I've also been debited already. Please kindly advise on what to do..

not a problm. search a few pages back. Three people had same issue, reach out to them as they got it sorted and were even contacted by NIS AND told when to proceed for capturing. Read back on this thread

I have issue of age correction on my passport for that reason i approach a friend who introduced me to one Immigration officer man in Abuja. I called this man and he gave me assurance that is not big issue that it will cost me 150k which I beg to 140 I made a transfer of 100k and I promise that if I come down to Abuja for capturing I will balance him, He said know problem I live in one Southwest state i traveled to Abuja on the 9th of December (it was not easy at all very costly going by flight ) to do the capturing and balance him 40k now the man keep posting me to wait, shortage of booklet, he lose his sister, he will get back to me and he's busy right now these are excuses he's giving me anytime I call him. please advise me on what to do because I need the passport badly this January

Go onto NIS page on twitter and narrate the way you did here. Everything. Make sure they see ur tweet, he will be fished out and u will be called by the ogas and ur issue rectified. Go on twitter and make sure NIS page sees ur tweet and u will be settled. Tag consumer protection page as well. Write the officer’s name and number. Pls hurry
This correction is 30k and then when approved u pay for passport 26k. There is no shortage of booklet in Abuja office. He wants to run with ur money. Pls also print out the transfer information showing his name if it was his account he used. Pls do quick.

Pls i have listed the requirements for a guarantor over and over again; sadly you do not meet them. The rules are rules and must be followed. She shud seek someone else with complete documents or u look for how to print ur nin slip from nimc office. It is free

U wont use birth certificate again pls as the name is not same with ur NIN.
U can use ur NIN inplace of LGA certificate and then ur age declaration pls. What I understood from u is that these two bear same names. That is ur age declaration and ur NIN

Ur nin will be a testament that u are a Nigerian and then ur age declaration serves in place of ur birth certificate. Finish.
Except u want ur passport to carry emmanuel?? So explain to me which u want on ur passport...

My wife has her nin slip, 2 passport photographs, her marriage certificate and newspaper publication.
I am the guarantor i don't have my nin slip. I have my data page.

Let ur wife find guarantor with NIN or driver’s licence PLUS data page of passport. If u dnt have, u cnt be her guarantor.
Ur wife might need sworn affidavit of change of name incase her age declaration/birth certificate names are different if this is a fresh passport application.

Then u dnt get guarantor form, it is linked to her own application. After she has paid successfully, she wud get application id and reference id, with those numbers she will log on to the below link and be able to download her own guarantor form.
