I experienced this too. You don't need to start afresh wt d application. Jus log on later and select the book appointment again and click "Pay for Application, just continue like that. If the "book appointment" is already in green, select the next one. aibisoye: Hello House, Im having an issue, Im getting this response back from the payment platform.

That's how the Consular will look at it, although nothing is impossible and other factors are being considered as well, for every application |

There is no problem with that. I chose another hotel when I travelled. The ECO just checked to see that I indeed booked a hotel where am staying. If the ECO asks you, u can say u found out Ibis is a better hotel, better review or somethn sha, tho I don't tink they will ask. Again, if the time u stated in ur application is not the time u re travelling, then dats enof reason. Fret not As u re travelling alone and hv no one in the UK, the ECO will be very interested in why u re travelling alone and what u came to do, so have those places u want to visit in mind, since u re going for tourism. Be jovial, dey will ask u why didn't come wt someone to make d holiday more fun, u shud have a reason, don't cook up stories. In my own case, I told them my friend was supposed to apply when I was applying, but for some reason she didn't, and as d year is winding up, I have to go on vacation and can't carry my leave days till d next year. I even told dem not to worry, that I will be fine . Later another one came up to me asking how I made d flight payment, I said bank-transfer. Those ppl eh, dey sha want to fish out something even when nothing dey. Pls don't be tense. savemysoul: Hello House kindly sort me out. I applied for UK visiting visa with hotel reservation; Lonsdale lodge to be precised and i was granted the visa after which i cancelled the reservation.now i need to be in UK later this month;so i had to make another hotel reservation with ibis Leyton London.I want to know if there will be no issue with this at the port of entry as i don't have anybody in UK but to stay in a hotel which was already mentioned on my application?. |

The £35 is average living cost in Nig, not UK. For UK, it's £170 poster put. True, the acct balance veeveezu mentioned is not that impressive, esp for someone dat has been denied already based on finances. He/she needs to have more than enof balance when applying again. For me, over a million is better. Tho nothing is impossible. You said "At least £35 to feed daily..."? Haba! Ontop wetin na No no no. Again, what is poster emailing/calling you for? Advise him/her here na, make we learn too shegsteperz: Living cost for 9days in the UK at 35pounds is unrealistic UNLESS you claim you are staying with someone who will cover your transportation and feeding expenses. As a foreigner here you need atleast 35pounds to feed daily excluding transportation fee because you have to eat out all the time.Cost of accomodation 330 pounds for 9days isnt realistic also. I will advice you google some of this statistics on average living cost in London, etc. If you claiming to stay with someone that will ease you alot of financial requirement but other than that. If you are claiming to stay in the hotel, paying for your flight and all you will need to have excess of 1.5m naira in your account considering the effect of the recent exchange rate between pounds and naira. Most importantly, it is not convincing that you are looking to spend all of this money for a 9days visit and then fall back to Nigeria with very little account balance. email me on samuelakinbaleye at gmail or call plus four four seven four three two two five zero seven eight seven |

Living expenses include ur T-fare, feeding, waka-waka. So for 2 of you staying for 9 days, I suggest something btw £300 - £450. 150k is OK, for one person ooo. You shud chk airfares for ur travel date and pick an average amount. Ur accommodation budget, that's almost £40 a night. Considering it's a room for 2 ppl, Double bed, I tot it may be higher dan that. Anyway you are submitting a hotel booking doc for d visa applic, so if it's £352 deal you got, then that's fine teana4040: Hi just wise and all d gurus...pls am filling the income and expenditure part of the form... I am the one sponsoring for I and my hubby
1.For cost of aeroplane, boat and train....pls what do I fill...is it realistic to fill 150k for flight? Or shld I increase it?
2. Cost of accommodation...I booked a hotel for 352 pounds for 9days 3.cost of living expenses...am a bit confused as to what to fill?
Pls help a sister!!! Thanks while awaiting your responses |

800,000 vs 300000, not bad. If your monthly income is tight, you are good to go. If I were you, I will save up more before January reaches, to have a million plus. veeveezu: @ogreene I have liquidated the investment and transferred the funds to my account |

Hi, this is what I have to say. - ur cost of living is quite low, also when compared to amount given to dependants. So you give out double of what you spend in a month? - you can take down cost of accommodation to £270 and add the balance to airplane fare making it £470, like N155,000. You can get hotels for £40± multiply it by 6 is about £270. It's very okay. - cost of trip is £910, over 300k. Hope you have enough fund in ur acct. House, I hope changing the number of days poster will be staying wouldn't raise eye brows at the POE. I remember it was more than 6 days before sha. As a first-timer without immigration history... veeveezu: @frontpagelawyer thank you for your response so far, please see the breakdown for my 6 Days trip in Jan Please will appreciate responses from all the gurus on this too Living costs 35 GBP Income to dependants 70 GBP Cost of trip to me 910 GBP Total amount available 950 GBP Cost of aeroplane 410 GBP Cost of accommodation 330 GBP Cost of living expenses 170 GBP Regards |
