It's even cheaper to send TOEFL score with d Access bank visa card because it costs just 6,500. For GRE score ordering, Mafit is cheaper.

I visited the company today. It's located along No. 77 Obafemi Awolowo road (one access bank like dat) around ikeja. Their promo is still on:
GRE is 50k including a free Kaplan material
TOEFL is 45k including a free Kaplan material and a one month free lecture(every Tuesdays and Thursdays).

Send at the test centre. The department still knows how to link the official copy with the online application. If you send the scores after the application you'd pay $27 for each score report which is above N14k.

The same way you create an account on ETS website, pay for an appointment and select a date, is what BY MAFIT will do. You either create an account and let them do the reg or they create for you, book the appointment and you log in from the official ETS site.
They have nothing to do with the test venues. I believe JKK is a popular venue. I have used Surulere venue too, okay.

My opinion, going through them will make more people partake of the promo. I registered with them and it was a smooth ride.

Whatever you decide to do, is fine.

Sure, some top schools waive TOEFL, bear in mind that TOEFL and GRE serve diff purposes. Some schools would request for both. So check the school's requirements well. If its not clear on their website, mail them and ask.

Awesu122, so you dont want to apply to other top schools because of essays and resume. But most of us provided these na. Thats a normal thing for grad school application. You conquered the GRE, the essay shouldn't a problem Just ask for samples to get a hint of how to write yours. Please do a search on the net, you will gain alot and even jam other student fora. Remember that the essay must match your profile, the course and the school you are applying to. Don't just dub ooo.

April 2017 is late. Few schools have Feb - April deadline which is for Fall 2017. Am not sure you will be considered for funding.

I read your posts, eagerly looking for where you said you searched for schools and came up with this, this and that school. Choosing a school is not a days job, you need to check the websites, note down stuffs, mail or call the dept, deadline, curriculum, tuition, location, requirement, funding etc...get to know every every. It was fun for me.

People can suggest schools for you, but you MUST DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. If someone told me to apply to School A and B, i will still go on the internet to see what other schools are like and make comparison.

If i had your GRE score, i will apply to top schools as well as safe schools. So do you have the schools now? You can list them here so people can tell you what they think. At the end, it still depends on you because its your career, your money and your moniker . But pay attention to their opinion about schools, i believe many people here have schooled or live in the US

I was at US Embassy for EducationUSA orientation last month, the VO spoke with us. He said there is nothing wrong in applying to attend a community college. He said people should not be scared to do that if thats what they want.

1. Get someone in the abroad to pay 4 u and u reimburse accordingly
2. Fund ur PayPal account with 205$. You can use 5different accounts with $50 monthly slot(i knoow of gtb n access)

Folks, if you have multiple admissions with funding,please try and differ your other admission.
Something happened here at tech,the school lost 70% of her funding and it's been a hard time for grad students here. In situations like this, some folks have left for other schools ,some dropped out of school while others are still struggling to get funding.Funding is contingent upon availability.
So please, don't throw away all your eggs.
Things like this don't happen often but we never can tell what would happen.

Hello. First of all, applying to one school is too risky oooo. Why put your eggs in one basket? Please you must choose more than 1 school.

Have you taken GRE and TOEFL? What session are you looking at?

People will suggest some schools for you. But you must also google that, so you can see all the other schools that offer the program. Try msinus.com, usnews.com, gradschools.com, thegradcafe.com etc.

Write down the schools, go to their website and read the requirements, curriculum, tuition, funding opportunity, deadline etc. Does it match what you want? Then you can mention the schools here so people can give you their opinion about some schools.

By the time you are done, you will have like 4 schools on your list. Then you can decide whether to pick 2, 3 or more

Are your last 2 years better? The CGPA. Try calculate for year 3 and 4. If much better, please state that in your application, the optional statement, even if they didnt ask you.

I did that in all my applications because my last 2 years result was really good.
