But U said earlier he has a divine nature, or U want to back track on your earlier statement?

Is this not what U wrote below....what do U mean when U wrote the screenshot below
Why do you take a phrase out of the total quote and misunderstood It?

Ohyoudidnt:
Do you not see the similarities between this and Greek mythology. Perhaps this is where the connecting transformation takes place.

In the Gospel of John where Thomas refers to Jesus as "my Lord and my God" (John 20:28). This statement by Thomas has often been used by Christians to affirm the divinity of Jesus. However, it is interesting to note that throughout the New Testament, Jesus himself refers to God the Father as his God. For example, in the book of Revelation, Jesus says, "I ascend to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God" (Revelation 20:17).

Isn't this a contradiction where the one referred to as God refers to another. Is the truth if any not that Thomas made the declaration as a statement of faith rather than a direct assertion of Jesus' divine nature?

It is worth mentioning that in Greek mythology, gods and goddesses were often depicted as having their own hierarchies and relationships with one another. For example, Zeus was considered the king of the gods, while other deities such as Athena and Apollo held their own positions of power and authority. This complex pantheon of gods and goddesses in Greek mythology contrasts with the monotheistic beliefs of Christianity, where there is only one true God who is worshipped and revered.

In light of this, the passage in John where Thomas calls Jesus "my Lord and my God" can be seen as a recognition of Jesus' authority and divine nature, rather than a literal assertion that Jesus is the one true God. It highlights the profound relationship between Jesus and God the Father.
Can be seen in the English language, the phrase is commonly used to indicate that something is visible or observable.

However, the meaning of this phrase is not always definitive and can vary depending on the context in which it is used. This ambiguity can create confusion for readers and listeners, as well as challenge their understanding of a given situation.

The following words rather than a literal assertion that Jesus is the one true God. It highlights the profound relationship between Jesus and God the Father.

Can be seen or can not be seen?

The physical manifestation of God in the temple is a privilege not a right.

God doesn't need to the present in the temple to receive worship or forgive sins.
God's presence wasn't physically with Noah or Abraham when they offered sacrificed yet their offerings were accepted.

The nation of Israel was a theocracy with God as the Head. God wanted to be with them physically as a manifestation of his authority over the Israelites.
But for these to happen, the Israelites had to adhere to the constitution given to them by God as a sign of agreement btw the subjects and YHWH.

Unfortunately the Israelites didn't regard the covenant and repeatedly broke the agreement. There was disobedience, rebellion and idolatry. Finally, they rejected God and demanded for a king.

It was only a matter of time the glory of God departs the temple.

This has nothing to do with God accepting their worship. He doesn't need to be in the temple for him to accept their worship.
.

This is now very interesting.

How exactly did God manifest in the temple before?

𝜙𝑚 is the latitude of Mecca.

How's that possible in a a spherical planet?
Does the North or South pole change?

This practice is possible geographically through the use of mathematical calculations based on spherical trigonometry to determine the correct direction from any location on Earth to Mecca. While it may seem challenging due to the curvature of the Earth, Muslim scholars have developed methods over centuries to accurately calculate the qibla from anywhere in the world.

The qibla is determined as the shortest path on a great circle passing through a specific location and Mecca. This method allows for precise calculations using coordinates and mathematical formulas. Despite living on a round planet, Muslims are able to face the Kaaba by understanding this mathematical concept and aligning themselves accordingly during prayer.

The glory of God departed the temple in the time of ezekiel. Malachi was the last prophet who experienced the spirit of God prior to coming of John the baptist.
This was long b4 the destruction of the temple in 70AD.
That was why Jesus Christ never took temple worship serious during his time on earth. The tabernacle was empty.
Following this submission of yours does this then imply that the Biblical God allowed people to just worship in the temples in vain pending it's destruction?

Where does this put God's mercy? If his glory departs from the temple in response to man's sin, does this mean that his mercy is lost as well?

Do you imply that before this time there had not been worse or mores sinful acts?

In Islam; Allah's mercy supersedes his anger.

When the believers in Our revelations come to you, say, “Peace be upon you! Your Lord has taken upon Himself to be Merciful. Whoever among you commits evil ignorantly ˹or recklessly˺ then repents afterwards and mends their ways, then Allah is truly All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” Q6:54

Say, ˹O Prophet, that Allah says,˺ “O My servants who have exceeded the limits against their souls! Do not lose hope in Allah’s mercy, for Allah certainly forgives all sins.He is indeed the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Q39:53

"And [mention] when We made the House a place of return for the people and [a place of] security. And take, [O believers], from the standing place of Abraham a place of prayer. And We charged Abraham and Ishmael, [saying], "Purify My House for those who perform Tawaf and those who are staying [there] for worship and those who bow and prostrate [in prayer].Q2:125

This verse indicates that the Kaaba was established as a place of worship and security for all people. Despite the sins of mankind, the Kaaba has remained a focal point for Muslims around the world to turn to in prayer and unity.

How can your God's glory be driven away by his creation?

My friend sacrificial offering was discarded. Who are we offering sacrifice to? A God that already departed the temple.
So who's accepting your sacrifice. Those who continue to sacrifice now practice paganism.
From one view maybe but you fail to consider the destruction of the temple in 70 AD by the Romans further changed the practice of worship and sacrifice among the Jews. Without a central place of worship, Jewish religious practices shifted to synagogues and homes, emphasizing prayer, study of the Torah, and acts of kindness as ways to connect with God.

Despite these changes, worship and sacrifice remain central themes in Jewish religious practice. The Jewish people continue to observe traditional rituals such as the Passover seder, Yom Kippur fasting, and the lighting of Shabbat candles. These practices serve as reminders of the importance of faith, community, and connection to God.

Jesus' teachings and actions brought about a shift in the way early Christians perceived sacrifice and worship, yet he did not completely eliminate the traditional methods of worship.

His teachings and actions of sparked a significant change in the understanding of sacrifice and worship among early Christians, while still acknowledging the importance of the existing worship practices.

Early Christians experienced a transformative shift in their perception of sacrifice and worship due to Jesus' teachings and actions, without completely discarding the traditional modes of worship..

Stop lying, Jesus did change how we worshipped when on earth.
First, after the glory of the LORD departed the temple, the building became void.
Anybody could enter the holy of holies and nothing would happen to them.
In fact some Hellenistic Jews during the Seleucid period sacrificed pig on the altar in the temple and nothing happened to them.

Jesus made it clear Jerusalem and the temple is no longer necessary for worship.

Luke 21.5
Then, as some spoke of the temple, how it was adorned with beautiful stones and donations, Jesus said, 6 “These things which you see—the days will come in which not one stone shall be left upon another that shall not be thrown down.”

John 4
19 The woman said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship.”
21 Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

No where it is written in Bible that stone was worshipped by the people of God as you're worshiping and bowing down for kaaba
Read again what I wrote.

Where do you derive your misunderstanding that a stone is worshipped?

The Kaaba and the Black Stone hold significant importance in Islamic practices, they are not considered objects of worship for Muslims.

Muslims direct their prayers towards the Kaaba during the five daily prayers. The act of touching or kissing the Black Stone is a symbolic gesture of unity and is not a requirement for the faith.
Christianity Etc › Re: Abu Discussed With A Christian About Muslims Worshipping Kaaba by Ohyoudidnt: 1:07pm On Apr 29, 2024
in the Old Testament there was a specific place for sacrifices and worship in Jerusalem.

Jesus, as a Jewish rabbi and religious figure, operated within the Jewish religious framework of his time. In his teachings, Jesus emphasized spiritual renewal, repentance, and love for God and others. He challenged traditional interpretations of the Law and focused on matters of the heart rather than mere external observance.

Ancient Judaism holds Jerusalem as a central place and the location for sacrifices and worship. The Temple in Jerusalem was considered the holiest site in Judaism, where various rituals and sacrifices were performed according to Mosaic Law. The sacrificial system was an integral part of Jewish religious practice, with offerings made to atone for sins and express devotion to God.

Jesus did not change the specific place for sacrifices and worship from Jerusalem during his earthly ministry, his teachings and actions led to a transformation in how early Christians understood sacrifice and worship. The divinity of God is unparalleled by any other entity and nothing comes close. It is important to note that Jesus is not regarded as being equal in divinity to God.

The Qur'an is the literal word of Allah as revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) through the Angel Jibreel (Gabriel). The Qur'an consists of 114 chapters, and each chapter is considered a complete and perfect revelation from Allah. Any additional prayers or supplications outside of the Qur'an are not considered part of the Qur'an itself.

If you are referring to the additional prayers or supplications that may have been compiled by Ubayy ibn Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him), it is important to note that these are not part of the Qur'an. Ubayy ibn Ka'b was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) known for his expertise in reciting and understanding the Qur'an. He was among the scribes of the revelation and had a deep knowledge of the Qur'an.

Ubayy ibn Ka'b may have compiled additional prayers or supplications, these are not considered part of the Qur'an itself. The Qur'an is distinct and separate from any other compilations or writings.

The mus-haf of Ubay b. Ka'b (ra), included two additional chapters and one additional ayah. The first one is entitled "Al-Khal'" or "The Separation" and translates as:

O Allah, we seek your help and ask your forgiveness, and we praise you and we do not disbelieve in you. We separate from and leave who sins against you.

The second one, "Al-Hafd" or "The Haste" translates as

O Allah, we worship You and to You we pray and prostrate and to You we run and hasten to serve You. We hope for Your mercy and we fear Your punishment. Your punishment will certainly reach the disbelievers.

The forms for these two pieces are clearly like the prayers in du'a qunut that have been narrated from the Prophet pbuh (in fact, parts of the above are verbatim in known adhkar).

Don't I get that you are failing in a pathetic attempt to lie against Islam. Has the one I have desisted from responding to not shared that in

Even more disturbing is the fact that ibn masud is not the only Muhammed's anointed reciter that rejected the Qur'an compiled by Zaid. Ubay also rejected uthman codex and held on to his own version of quran.

Muhammed had told his companions to learn Qur'an from 4 people- these include ibn masud and ibn Ubay. Both of them rejected the uthman codex.

4719. It is related from Ibn ‘Abbas that ‘Umar said, “Ubayy was the one of us with the best recitation, yet we leave some of the words of Ubayy. Ubayy said, ‘I took it from the mouth of the Messenger of Allah and WILL NOT LEAVE IT for anything.’ Allah Almighty says, ‘Whenever We abrogate an ayat or cause it to be forgotten, We bring one better than it or equal to it.’ (2:106)” (Aisha Bewley, Sahih Collection of al-Bukhari, Chapter 69. Book of the Virtues of the Qur’an, VIII: The reciters among the Companions of the Prophet)

Islamic scholars know that Ubai Ibn Ka’b had a compilation of the Quran that differed from the current version, which was compiled primarily by Zaid Ibn Thabit.
Among the differences we know of between Zaid & Ubai’s Qurans, was the fact that Ubai’s Quran had two additional surahs, al-Hafd and al-Khal'.

This problem is acknowledged by Umar in the Hadith. In Sahih Bukhari, Vol. VI, #527, Umar noted that, despite the fact that Ubai was called the greatest reciter of the Quran by Muhammad, two of the Surahs in Ubai’s Quran were not put in Zaid’s codex.

Sahih Bukhari, Vol. VI, #527 “Narrated Ibn Abbas: ‘Umar said “Ubai was the best of us in the recitation (of the Quran) yet we leave some of what he recites.” (2:106)’”

Ubai’s codex of the Quran was the standard version used in Syria before Uthman ordered all manuscripts that did not agree with the one compiled by Zaid et al. to be burned. Many still know Ubai’s surahs today! These surahs have not been lost, they have been REJECTED by the Muslim leaders!

According to Surah 3:3-4, these leaders bring a heavy doom on themselves and their followers.

Ubai surahs were not abrogated by Allah, they were abrogated by Zaid and those who chose his text.
The Quran promises abrogated or forgotten things are replaced by Allah with something similar or better (Surah 2:106). How could this be done after Muhammad has passed away?

Zaid et al. should have accepted Ubai’s surahs even if they were only found with Ubai, since they accepted portions found only with Abi Khuzaima Al-Ansari (Bukhari, Vol. VI, #509, #510), and Ubai’s credentials exceeded that of Khuzaima bin Thabit Al-Ansari.

As we can see the so called preservation of the Qur'an is intellectual dishonesty.
Ubai Ibn Ka'b indeed had his own collection of
Quranic material. Early Islamic sources indicate that there were slight variations in the readings and arrangements of the Quranic text among some of the companions, reflecting a diversity of transmission during
the early period of Islam before the standardization process.

Ubai Ibn Ka'b was known for his deep knowledge of the Qur'an and was one of the few individuals whom the Prophet pbuh specifically mentioned as being excellent in Quranic recitation. His compilation
included a few additional phrases and different wordings, which are considered part of the early textual history of the Quranic text.

Zaid Ibn Thabit was chosen by Caliph Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) to lead a committee to compile an official, standardized mushaf (written copy of the Quran) to preserve the integrity of the Quran and ensure
its uniformity across the rapidly expanding Muslim world. This standardized mushaf omitted the variants and personalized annotations from individual companions codices, focusing on the Quranic text that was agreed upon by consensus to be recited by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

These early codices did not represent different Qurans but rather different methods of transmission and teaching within the scope of what was allowed in Quranic recitation and memorization practice. The Uthmanic codex reflects the community consensus and is the basis for the Quran used throughout the Islamic world today.

Did Ibn Masood have any complains about the compilation at Abu Bakr's request?

Lousy talk about number of breastfeeding and adults or and child are baseless. Quran 2:233 mentions 2 years not number and is for the infant baby to young toddler. All other talk is rooted in mischief so get a rest or study critically the reasons for the council's of Nicea and all excesses therein

Inform clearly if this is no longer valid.

On Zaid's completion of the collation of the Quran for the generality and purpose of this discussion called the Uthmani codex, he compared the Mushaf prepared then with the suhuf prepared during Abu Bakr's time.

He then stated:
I compared the Mushaf with those manuscripts and they did not differ in anything- Mushkil al-Athar; Hadith 2645

Ibn Ḥajar writes:
The difference between the ṣuḥuf and the muṣḥaf is that the ṣuḥuf are the separate parchment sheets on which the Qur’an was compiled during the era of Abū Bakr. They contained the surahs [chapters] separately, each surah arranged independently with its verses, but the surahs were not arranged sequentially. When they were copied and arranged in a sequence, they became a muṣḥaf

StillDtruth:
This is where the confusion is.

Jesus is our own God that is God of heaven and earth and man and all that is in them.

But His Father is "The Highest and The Greatest, and The King Sitteth on The Throne" Who Gives Command eg "Let their be Light"
Grand commander and second in command system? Really? What position is the holy spirit?
