SIRTee15: Then explain to me why Jews would want to crucify their Messiah as stated in the Qur'an. The Quran does not explicitly address the reasons why the Jews wanted to crucify Jesus ('Isa a.s). However, the Quran does reject the claim that they succeeded in crucifying him. Instead, it states that it was made to appear as if Jesus was crucified, but he was not. The relevant verse is Quran 4:157 The authoroties of the Jews not all Jewish people are not accused specifically of wanting to crucify Jesus because he was their Messiah. It is the case that their rejection of Jesus in Islamic tradition would be more about their disbelief in the message that Jesus brought and perceiving him as a threat to their power and interpretation of Mosaic Law. Islamic tradition suggest that Jesus came to affirm the Torah and to make lawful some of what was forbidden to the Jews (Quran 3:50), which may have caused opposition among certain Jewish authorities of the time. |

SIRTee15: Do not contradict yourself. In one sentence U said anthropomorphism is a sin in islam, yet in another sentence U said all physical attributes of human given to Allah is anthropomorphism. Make up your mind, which is which.
Anyway what I'm asking for is evidence in the Koran that all human attributes of Allah is anthropomorphism. Within the context of discussing anthropomorphic language used in describing Allah in relation to body parts, it is crucial to acknowledge that such language is often viewed as symbolic rather than literal. The use of anthropomorphic language in describing God, including references to body parts or physical attributes, is a common feature in religious texts and theological discussions. However, it is essential to approach these descriptions with caution and understanding, recognizing that they are symbolic representations intended to convey deeper truths about the nature of God rather than literal descriptions of His being. Ohyoudidnt: Hadith hold significant value as a source of guidance and understanding in Islam but their interpretation should be approached with caution, scholarly scrutiny, and contextual awareness to ensure their relevance and applicability.
The Shin signifies a moment of divine unveiling or manifestation where believers are able to acknowledge and prostrate before Allah in complete submission and reverence. It holds symbolic significance.
Interpreting the Shin of Allah literally, as a physical body part akin to human anatomy, may lead to anthropomorphism or attributing human-like qualities to the divine being.
The Shin of Allah is symbolic or metaphorical, representing aspects such as power, authority, or manifestation of divine will. These interpretations emphasize the spiritual and abstract nature of Allah’s attributes without reducing them to mere physical characteristics. When considering the anthropomorphic language used in relation to Allah or God, it is important to remember that these descriptions are not meant to be taken at face value. Instead, they serve as metaphors or symbols that help human beings grasp aspects of the divine nature that transcend human comprehension. For example, when attributes such as “God’s hands” or “God’s eyes” are mentioned, they are symbolic representations of God’s power, knowledge, or presence rather than literal body parts. |

SIRTee15: Show me evidence of anthropomorphism in your Koran. Yes I agree the shin of Allah is fake thus we humans cannot describe or imagine it. But the fact is he has a shin- whatever the shin is.
My question remain Is that thing called the shin of Allah one with Allah. The shin is not one with Allah. I will say that what is meant by the revelation of the shin is more in relation to the believers than Allah. In Islam, anthropomorphism, known as “tashbīh” in Arabic, refers to the act of comparing God to created things. This concept is considered a sin in Islamic theology, along with its opposite, “taʿṭīl,” which involves divesting God of all attributes. The understanding of the nature of God in Islam stems from the Qur’an’s descriptions that on one hand emphasize God’s uniqueness and incomparability to anything imaginable by the human mind, while on the other hand use anthropomorphic language such as attributing eyes, ears, hands, face to God, and depicting Him sitting on a throne and engaging in actions like talking and listening. |

SIRTee15: U just dancing in circles to avoid the obvious - Koran has no idea what Messiah ais all about. Running to the talmud won't safe U.
First things first. Show me the meaning of Messiah in your Koran or hadiths. I don't want your definition and pls don't go to the bible or Jewish texts. From your Koran, tell me the meaning of Messiah.
Quran mentioned Messiah 11 times, it's gross incompetence to keep using a word or terminology U don't know it's meaning. Tell me the meaning is Messiah according to the Qur'an. Quran 3:45-˹Remember˺ when the angels proclaimed, “O Mary! Allah gives you good news of a Word from Him, his name will be the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary; honoured in this world and the Hereafter, and he will be one of those nearest ˹to Allah˺. Messiah (Masîḥ) means the “anointed one.” It is used in the Quran exclusively as a title for Jesus Christ. Jesus is referred to as “al-Masih” multiple times, emphasizing his special status and mission. Surah Al-Imran (3:45) mentions the angel’s announcement to Mary about her son being called al-Masih, a title signifying his anointed nature and special purpose ordained by Allah. Jesus is portrayed as a righteous prophet and messenger chosen by God to deliver his message to the Children of Israel. Various narrations highlight his miraculous birth, his role in the end times, and his return before the Day of Judgment as a just ruler who will establish peace and justice on earth. The Hadith affirm Jesus’ prophethood, emphasize his virtues, and clarify his position within Islamic eschatology. Muslims believe in Jesus as a mighty prophet, born miraculously without a father, and endowed with various miracles by Allah. While recognizing him as the Messiah, Muslims reject the Christian doctrine of his divinity or crucifixion. Instead, Islam teaches that Jesus was raised alive to heaven by Allah and will return in the future to fulfill his final mission. |

https://www.nairaland.com/8019021/jehovah-witnesses-believe-god-speaks#128760867 For the umpteenth time, Jesus Christ in Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46 declared Himself God over all those who are of the Kingdom of God. He said He is the Judge and Ruler to determine the end for every one of those who are born-again — the eternal fate of all goats and sheep is in His Hands. He is God over them all. . So why do you need Him to First have to say "I am God in the Kingdom of God" before you even realize the place He occupies over the lives(and souls) of those who submit to becoming part of a Kingdom that belongs to Him? This ain't rocket science for Pete's sake! No other human or angel can lay claim to such power of authority over other beings. No other human or angel being has ever been written as occupying such a place over the eternal realities of other human beings. Really? Did Jesus actually declare himself God? That he is established as ruler and Judge on earth doesn't make him God. The ruler of Egypt in the time of Moses also judged and ruled but that didn't make him God. He may have tried to assume such status but never was he equal to God. Be cautious of your translations or understanding besides he still referred to himself as the son of Man. Is this a case of repeating a previous folly? |

In contrast, Trinitarian Christianity posits the existence of three co-equal persons within the Godhead: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. While still maintaining monotheistic beliefs, Trinitarian doctrine introduces a complex unity within God’s nature, encompassing three distinct persons in one essence.
Arianism’s emphasis on the supremacy and singularity of God aligns more closely with traditional monotheistic principles than Trinitarian Christianity, which introduces a triune concept of deity. By highlighting the subordination of Jesus and maintaining a clear hierarchy within divinity, Arianism presents a theological framework that resonates more directly with classical monotheistic views. |
Christianity Etc › Re: How Christianity Moved Away From Monotheism. Is Trinity a monotheist principle? by Ohyoudidnt(op): 7:48pm On Apr 01, 2024 |
In understanding the theological differences between Arianism and Trinitarian Christianity, it becomes apparent that Arianism is indeed closer to monotheism than Trinitarian Christianity. This distinction arises from the core beliefs of each doctrine regarding the nature of God and Jesus Christ.
Arianism emphasizes the oneness of God in a more direct manner compared to Trinitarian Christianity. In Arian theology, God the Father is considered the sole eternal deity, while Jesus Christ is viewed as a created being, albeit divine in nature. This perspective aligns closely with traditional monotheistic beliefs that uphold the unity and singularity of God without incorporating complex notions of a triune nature.
One of the key tenets of Arianism is the subordination of Jesus Christ to God the Father. According to Arian doctrine, Jesus is distinct from and subordinate to God, implying a hierarchical relationship within the divine realm. This hierarchical structure reinforces the idea of a singular supreme deity (God the Father) with a subordinate divine entity (Jesus), reinforcing monotheistic principles. |

Since you brought mathematics/science absurdity into this: Is an Electron a Particle or a Wave? Please I need a clear answer?
But you also agree with them that Jesus is the Creator of Everything (as a servant of God)?
You are the one confusing yourself because the Christian God is ONE
As ONE: He could be in the Heaven and on the Earth and Everywhere at the same time simply because He is God. We call Him the Father, We call Him the Word and we call Him the Holy Spirit
How can one explain "color Red" to a man born blind?

If Allah = Messiah, is it true that Messiah =Allah?
So, who then is the partner of Allah or who is the partner of Messiah?
Perfect Monotheism where God is Omnipresent, Omniscient and Omnipresent.
Of course, we have demonstrated clearly to you from your Quran and Hadiths how Allah is neither Omnipresent, Omniscient nor Omnipresent.

Aemmyjah: Noah and his son (Remember) Noah, when he cried (to Us) aforetime: We listened to his (prayer) and delivered him and his family from great distress. -- Sura 21:76
So the Ark floated with them on the waves (towering) like mountains, and Noah called out to his son, who had separated himself (from the rest): "O my son! embark with us, and be not with the unbelievers!"
The son replied: "I will betake myself to some mountain: it will save me from the water." Noah said: "This day nothing can save, from the command of Allah, any but those on whom He hath mercy!" And the waves came between them, and the son was among those overwhelmed in the Flood. -- Sura 11:42-43
I am certain cos I accept the scriptures. Even Torah says so Yours is different Mine isn't different. There's a misunderstanding. In the Islamic narrative of Noah(as) and the flood, his son who perished in the flood is not explicitly mentioned by name. The Quran does mention that Noah(as) had a son who did not believe in him and thus did not board the ark, leading to his demise in the flood. Some exegesis give a name but I often am not inclined thus. The Bible says Noah and all his family survived but Ham dishonoured his father who then placed a curse on Canaan his son. |

TenQ: My Question was: 1. Is it true that in Arianism, Jesus Christ is seen as the first and greatest of God's creations, through whom God created the universe?
Again: Is it TRUE the Arians teach that Jesus is the means by which God created the Universe? Going with the argument you are bringing what essence is Jesus being the greatest or the one through which creation was done? Does it make him equal to God or co-divine with God? TenQ: Islam has nothing to stand up upon except falsehood, this is why to answer simple questions is impossible for you. Really. Do you see the lie of your 1 is 3 and 3 is 1? What abstract mathematics is this? TenQ: You were the one who started with how Christians Derailed from Monotheism : specifically ("How Christianity Moved Away From Monotheism; The Difference From Arianism"
According to you, are Arians not practicing the monotheism from which the mainstream Christians derailed? So, if you do not understand the phrase "monotheist Christianity", too bad.
Again the Question was: 2. Is Arianism the correct version of monotheist Christianity of Jesus Christ? Yes I say Christians derailed from Monotheism. I put the difference with Arianism on purpose because regardless of the honour they give Jesus they don't commit excesses by equating Jesus with God. I know monotheism and a monotheist but don't understand the phrase monotheist christianity but ask you if there is polytheist christianity. You should have the other if the former exists? TenQ: And I quoted the Quran Qur'an 5:72 They surely disbelieve who say: Lo! Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary. The Messiah (himself) said: O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Lo! whoso ascribeth partners unto Allah, for him Allah hath forbidden paradise. His abode is the Fire. For evil-doers there will be no helpers.
Pardon me sir: Who are those who Allah claim that Allah is the Messiah, ?
I hope you have corrected your English language comprehension: if you have done so, The Question Again: 6. If Allah is the Messiah (according to the christians), who then is the partner with Allah?
In saying Allah is the Messiah the Christian and those who say such have partnered Allah with the messiah. May Allah forbid. So is the trinity belief of Christianity monotheism? 2. Why did the followers of Jesus allegedly form a new religion despite Jesus asking they obey the priests in the scripture but not their ways? Did the priests not practice Judaism? Where did Jesus disagree or disaprove Judaism? |

Lawag3: Ok still doesn't change the fact Jesus called himself God. A man cannot behold God In all his glory and live. But Jesus is God he became a man a human being. And you can't die from just looking at the face of a person.
You don't understand do you. Let me act it out for you.
Philip: Jesus please show me the father
Jesus: have I not been with you this whole time and yet you don't know who I am. Any one who have seen the father have seen me so why are you asking me to show you the father?
So let me break it down for you. Jesus answered the question with a question he was like don't you know who I am this question is key here Philip was asking Jesus to show him God and Jesus don't you know who I am? In other words don't you know I am God. If you've seen me you've seen God showing him and God are One and the same.
Also keep in mind the kind of question Philip asked he wanted to see God so all you mumble jumble about essence and purpose doesn't hold water. Jesus then told him when you see me you have seen the father.
I know you know how to read and you're not dumb . Don't misinterpret the Bible.
What's even your bases of your conclusion Why does John's Gospel alone say so amongst the Gospels? In the Synoptic Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, Jesus does not explicitly refer to himself as God. Instead, he primarily focuses on teachings about God, the Kingdom of God, and living in accordance with God’s will. However, in the Gospel of John, Jesus makes several statements that imply his divine nature. Interpretations of biblical verses vary regarding whether these statements signify literal divinity or metaphorical unity with God. It is most likely that it is metaphorical as Jesus acknowledges the father sent him and is greater than him. |

In John 1:1, the absence of the article before θεός (God) in the last phrase and its presence before θεόν (God) in the second phrase have led some scholars to argue that the Word is distinct from, yet closely related to, God the Father. The traditional Christian doctrine of the Trinity affirms the divinity of the Word (Jesus Christ) as equal to God the Father and the Holy Spirit. In this view, the Word shares the same divine essence as God the Father, and the absence of the article in John 1:1 does not undermine this equality. On the other hand, non-Trinitarian interpretations, such as those held by Jehovah’s Witnesses and some Unitarians, argue that the Word is a distinct divine being, but not equal to God the Father. |

TenQ: I have not asked you any question about Islam, if you cannot give the courtesy of answering my three questions, there is no point arguing endlessly.
Again : Arians reject the divinity of Jesus but Since you insist of adopting a heretical sect to judge Christianity, kindly answer these questions as truthfully as possible. 1. Is it true that in Arianism, Jesus Christ is seen as the first and greatest of God's creations, through whom God created the universe? 2. Is Arianism the correct version of monotheist Christianity of Jesus Christ? 3. Do you consider it right and okay for me to use the doctrine of the Ahmadiyya or Shia muslims to set the standard of faith for you Sunni Muslims?

Answer : Divinity of Jesus, when and where? The divinity of Jesus was established by Jesus Himself during His earthly ministry in Israel and recorded in the Bible by His Disciples! John 14:6: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me."
John 11:25: "Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:"
Is it untrue that part of the reasons the Jews wanted to kill Jesus was for this apparent blasphemy? John 10:33: "The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone you not; but for blasphemy; and because that you, being a man, make yourself God."
One of the reasons for the council at Nicia was to correct a false doctrine being spread by Arius within the church.
4. Can you show with evidence a single Christian doctrine that asserts two or more distinct God's (Different from the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit being the same God)? 5. Is it untrue that Even your Allah says we Christians assert that Allah is the Messiah and not Jesus is a second or third Allah Qur'an 5:72 They surely disbelieve who say: Lo!
6. If Allah is the Messiah, who then is the partner with Allah?
Islam has nothing to stand up upon except falsehood, this is why to answer simple questions is impossible for you.
I promise you no further response UNTIL you answer truthfully Each of my SIX Questions here Hmm, where do I start? Can you authoritatively tell me who the author of the Gospel of John? Remember it is recorded in some Bible copies as the Gospel according to John. Is this not what a said John recollects however right or wrong? Arianism specifically denies the divinity of Jesus Christ and instead considers him to be a created being, distinct from God the Father. According to Arius, Jesus was the first creation of God and not God Himself. He believed that there was a time when the Son (Jesus) did not exist and that Jesus was a high-ranking created being but not equal to God. Arians do not view Jesus as a prophet at all; instead, they see him as a unique created being who holds a significant position in their theological framework. While some may argue that Arians elevate Jesus above other prophets due to his role in creation and his status as the highest created being, it is essential to understand that Arianism fundamentally rejects the traditional Christian understanding of Jesus as fully divine. Therefore, within the framework of Arianism, Jesus is not regarded as a prophet or even compared to other prophets but rather seen as a distinct entity with a unique status as a created being. Another important aspect of Arians' belief in Jesus' role in creation is the idea of Jesus as the Logos or Word of God. Jesus is seen as the instrument through which God brought the universe into being. They see Jesus as the Word of God and the agent through which all things were created. Remember though this word is created. |

Aemmyjah: What about the original Hadiths that were burnt? How did even know the authentic ones?
Let's forget the issue of Aisha and Mary I have sincere questions since you seem fair-minded
1. Does the Quran promote freedom of worship? 2. Who is the first Muslim? Abraham? Jesus or Muhammed? 3. If the Koran says something that is also an account ij the Bible but somehow different or contradictory? Which one should he accepted as accurate. Koran or Bible? For instance, regarding the flood. Bible says that Noah, his wife, his three sons and their wives were saved in the ark. Koran says that one of Noah sons was destroyed? How do you reconcile that? You lay so much emphasis on hadith because you lack understanding. Simply put the satan and enemies of Islam cannot corrupt the Quran and resort to using hadith for those who are not rightly guided. 1. Yes it does 2. By definition the first Muslim is Adam 3. How many sons did Noah pbuh have? You feel certain that each one was saved. You however have a narration about Noah's grandson who wasnt saved in your Bible. |

Aemmyjah: 😂 Many Muslims are saying that Aisha marrying at that age was quite normal for Arabs those days You say it's fabricated Is that an abjugation? This is due to the depth and age of the lie. More people are becoming aware that this isn't the case. It is a fabrication from the 8th century. |

Think before responding When and where was the Divinity of Jesus established? The false claim to divinity of Jesus indeed contradicts the principles of monotheism. In monotheistic religions such as Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, the belief in one supreme deity is central. Monotheism asserts that there is only one true God who is to be worshipped and honored above all else. The concept of monotheism emphasizes the oneness and uniqueness of this divine being, rejecting the idea of multiple gods or deities. The claim that Jesus is divine or part of a trinity challenges the core tenets of monotheism by introducing a multiplicity within the divine essence. This is a divergence from strict monotheism . |

Lawag3: What did they charge him with? Blasphemy right? How did he blaspheme not because he called himself king of the Jews that's not blasphemy not because he called himself Messiah . Many before Jesus claimed that title.
So if someone ask me where is Allah. Then I told that person as long as you've seen me you've seen Allah.
When he was ask to show them the father, Jesus replied have I not been with you don't you know me
In other words Jesus was like why are you asking me to show you the father I'm right here with you.
This was Jesus reply
New Living Translation Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you Disappointed you don't even know your religion. The charges brought against Jesus by the Jews before Pilate revolved around his claim to kingship and his assertion of being the Son of God. The accusations included subverting the nation, forbidding payment of tribute tax to Caesar, and claiming to be Christ, a king. The Jewish leaders emphasized that Jesus needed to die because he claimed to be the Son of God, which they considered blasphemous.
You don't see how it was made out as he being a threat to established Roman governance. Did Pilate find him guilty? No but the pressure from the jews forced his hand according to your narration.

Jesus was not claiming to be God the Father but rather expressing His unity with the Father in essence and purpose. He was revealing that through Him, people could come to know and understand God the Father. |

Elizabeth addressed her as woman
Will you say a 9 year old is a woman? Facts! Provide an authoritative age of Mary when she bore Jesus. I am driving at a point here and you are mixing up useless sentiment. Can you prove outside these fabricated hadith that Aisha was 9? |

"...Christianity Moved Away From Monotheism..." ??
Do true believers in CHRIST / GOD, Christians... ever do?!
"For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one." - 1 John 5:7
"There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." - Ephesians 4:4-6
"You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!" - James 2:19 You quoted the Comma Johanneum from the Bible. Do you know that this verse is primarily found in later Latin manuscripts and was likely added to the text at a later date. Many modern translations of the Bible omit or include a footnote regarding this verse due to its absence in early Greek manuscripts |

Mary well knew the scriptures She was to become mother to Jesus She traveled on her own to visit Elizabeth Aisha didn't? Is this your claim? Can a young girl or teenager not travel? This end of your argument is pretty strange |

advocatejare: 😂 😆 😆 😂 It was literal when Jibreel told Muhammad that he could sleep with any woman that offered him sex, but it’s not literal when Allah is exposed to have a shin that Muslims must worship.
You don’t need your brain once you’re in islam Did Angel Gabriel or the Holy spirit guide the numerous council meetings? Why was the council of Ephesus in 431AD held? You cannot answer because you hide from the truth that a lot of what is Christianity is governed lies. |
