For all the support Mike has gotten from BNP Paribas over the years, this is the least could do to thank the French Republic. |
Hello, I am sorry guys but I may have to hold off on new enquiry concerning this sale as I have been inundated with a flurry of interests already and I am finding it difficult to joggle too many balls at a time. Many of the items are sold out already. I will update the house by this weekend if any item is still available for sale. Many thanks for the responses. |
chrispapi11:Coming shortly. I apologize |
Ordinarily, I would ignore questions of this nature. However because some people need to be educated, I will respond. A man relocating is starting a new life and he needs a lot of money to settle down where he moves to. He still needs to replace these items all together. Moreover, If you are relocating, you give out some items and sell others. Most importantly, the decision on what to do with your belongings is entirely YOURS! Thank you! |

Make we just s(elect) this Dangote to be our President, abi? Seriously, this guy is just in a class of his own! We need technocrats to run this Country not politicians married to nepotism! |
Match fixing at its best. |
AREWA! Yes, you are correct. For that reason, can you please teach those Southerners a lesson by pulling out of Nigeria. You can even take the name ''Nigeria' while they become Southern Nigeria. This is the best thing that can happen to the South. We can then build a Trump wall to separate both regions. You may even join forces with Niger republic to become a stronger nation. Please, can you do this for us? |
yeyerolling:Guy, If you become President and I hope you do, give the oil block licenses to your enemies or your wife's enemies instead of your friends. For the records, it was an OPL (Oil Prospecting License) NOT OML (Oil Mining License) So it means a lot still had to be done on geological data, drill an exploratory well to confirm presence of hydrocarbon, then appraisal well(s) to ascertain lateral extension of the reservoir, before development wells would come in. She could have sold the block for peanuts and no one would know her today but with God's leading, she brought in Chevron (Not Total) as partners and today she gets proceeds of 20,000 bopd from the 240,000 bopd produced from the Agbami field of what is now OML 127. She wasnt the only friend that Mariam or the Babangidas as a whole had, so if God favoured her (a Tailor), to be one of the benefactors of the indigenization policy and she used it well, we must thank God for her life and learn a lesson from it which is "Use your opportunities wisely and never forget God" Thank you. |
And polithiefians are walking free? Sad poetry! |
I think Britain has seen something in Nigeria we have not seen. Its about future prospects. |
Thought he l be mourning his nephew who was buried only yesterday. |
That is O & G business for you. The same oil that crashed to $30 per bbl is now hovering around $70. It still would have made business sense to buy it notwithstanding the drop in oil price. Companies survived the price crash and today operations are looking up in the industry. What many did was to renegotiate service rates and cut down on luxurious spending to stay afloat. Buying an O & G asset is not just about the production rate at the time but the prospects in the block in terms of proven reserves. You may choose to drill when oil price is down at low cost and sell when price goes up. |
I worked with Paddy in the upstream business. Yea...the OML 30 / 42 experience was something else and he was spot on with that. You've got to give it to Paddy, he is extremely intelligent and always on the ball. He would go far! |
CHARLOE:The prayer is all encompassing... |
Anyone who wants those blocking his way and refuse to repent to continue, should disregard the prayer..no problem. The prayer is for those who genuinely want to succeed. If my enemy; Whether a relative or not refuses to repent, let him/her die today..today! |
Well, its called Faith. I am entitled to my religious belief and you should respect that. Sometimes, the blind actually think same of others. BTW, hope you are not the Inspired guy of Autos section? Inspire08: |
So unfortunate that Nairaland brings you in contact with people you ordinarily would not share a forum with due to intellectual disparity. Imagine this one who cant read and understand..... jacyhelen: |
Daddy Freeze & his cohorts should just do their homework well before ranting. Yes, Pastor Adeboye did make this announcement, I watched it live and honestly I didnt feel too comfortable with it. Let me also correct the impression that it was a recent service. No! This was actually well over a year ago; maybe 2 years. The noble thing Pastor Adeboye did which Daddy Freeze and co can not do is that the next holy ghost service, Pastor Adeboye did come out publicly to state that he made the call in error and that God did not ask him to. He went further to say that God reminded him that they executed previous projects together without asking for public donations hence the current project would not be different. Yes, he humbly owned up to his error and for that he has my respect and admiration FOR LIFE! |

Truth is cost of business in Nigeria is extremely high. As long as we continue to have epileptic power supply, prices of items like these will be high at cinemas. An average hotel in VI is more expensive than comparative one in Dubai! |
If this story is true that the Church currently runs free schools for the poor and he still rejected the car, offering to use the money to build more free schools, then this is worthy of commendation. If he called the Press to make a show of it like someone opined, it might just be necessary to do that. Maybe other Pastors can borrow a leaf from him. |
What a shame! A big Nollywood Star CELEBRATING acquiring US citizenship Seriously? |
A number of factors. Are you meeting her financial needs? if your wife knows you are rich and as such will get overtures from ladies outside, she will be do all she can to keep you to herself only. Do you satisfy her sexually? If you do, she will be looking forward to the next one. Try to be adventurous too...sex in bathroom, kitchen etc. Then, you also have to be tactical about it, nice pre sex activities like massage to get her in the mood. Also ensure good hygiene, shower every evening, brush your mouth, you could try body spray too...make yourself attractive. However, you cant overrule the fact that some women just dont like sex. She may have had a bad experience before or something. Find out and try to offer support. Also women generally have a lower libido than men. I hate to say this but it is also possible she is attracted to someone else hence doesnt love you anymore. I pray this is not the case. |
I have always disagreed with people when they cast aspersions at education in Nigeria. While I acknowledge the obvious deficiencies due to poor government funding and generally poor economic standard, education in Nigeria is not totally bad. Some of the issues I see are; 1. The new lecturers we have in the last 20 years, most of them are in the profession not because they are passionate about imparting knowledge but because they could not get the kind of jobs they want in oil and gas, banking etc therefore resort to lecturing. Hence their priority is the salary NOT the students. 2. Poor funding: Lecturers are not well remunerated and like everyone else, they have responsibilities. The consequence is that they are forced to seek additional means of income at the expense of imparting knowledge. Who suffers? The students. 3. Further to 2 above, inadequate infrastructures also hinder knowledge transfer However despite all these and other factors not mentioned, Nigerian students will always excel especially out there because here we study and understand things even with little or no aids, books, facilities etc. We learn and still understand in abstract! Thats why when we go abroad where you have facilities, learning aids, passionate lecturers...everything, an average 2.2 student in Nigeria will easily make 1st class and I have very many cases of such whom I know personally. What this suggests to me is that if education in Nigeria is as terrible as being made to look, those students who go out there and excel would not have had a good foundation to build on. These days with the help of internet, we have almost the same information as available to other students in the Western world so the gap is getting bridged in that area. |
Atiku is the most desperate Nigerian for the post of President. This desperation dates back to 1993 when he was forced to step down for MKO Abiola during the SDP primaries. Lets see how it all pans out..... |
