Aba, Igbo people are like a woman in an abusive relationship, the husband doesn't want to say go, but hoping that she will park up and leave. Did you read article at all to understand the message or you are just programmed like a robot to attack anything Igbo. Is she an Igbo woman? Why make a useless comment on a public fora? |

bigpriik: I am not being tribalistic here because I am Igbo myself from imo state.most Nigerian ladies have entitlement mentality but that of Igbo women is worse I lived in Lagos almost all my life, I have mostly dated yoruba girls but I must say only few of were materialistic yoruba girls are the only ones that date because of love , if a Yoruba girl doesn't like you she will rather not date you than date you for your money I talking based on the ones i I have dated aha but you see ibo girls they always want to claim smart and exposed. my advice if you are not redpilled avoid Igbo girls only exposed and emotionally matured guys can handle then they are not recommenfable for newbies.
On the other hand I don't really blame Igbo ladies for their attitudes towards relationships its all their mens fault an average Igbo man especially the ones brought up in the East believe in spoiling their women with money and gifts they see it as normal some rich Igbo men are usually after a womans beauty not really what she can offer in relationship they never realise the mistake they are making until they go broke you see that story of "she left me when i was broke" are mostly from igbo men. here in Lagos I have lived with both yoruba and Igbo guys I believe the Yorubas are smarter when it comes to dealing with women than Igbo guys. You are a broke guy. Tell that to the well offs. Even in US, the rich guys gets the best! Stop lamenting and posting false narratives on a public forum. |

otipoju: There are laws and there are executive orders. Then in Jurisprudence there is something called "Desert " It simply means that the punishment must be commensurate with the crime that was committed.
Running business during a pandemic should not be punished by demolition of property....it is just so wrong.
Arrest, fines, sealing of premises okay but destroying someone's sweat without due process is a call for anarchy.
If Wike destroys some people's property over something as flimsy as this...he will finish his tenure and they will deal with him in a devastating fashion eye for an eye. No one supports what he did but similar things happened in Maroko, Abuja etc. Nigeria has always been a lawlessness country governed by tyrants who pretend they are patriot and have the interest of the people at heart. |

Simplyleo: You don't need fossil fuel to manufacture batteries.
The working mechanism of a battery is the movement of charges between the electrodes through a medium called electrolyte. The Electrolytes are inorganic acid such as H2SO4, HNO3 and HCl. Neither the electrodes nor the electrolytes are made from fossil fuel.
Though, electric batteries can't take the place of fossil fuel, never. Plastic components incorporated in batteries include separators and casing components. Plastics have good shock absorbing characteristics (Polypropylene has good shock absorbing characteristics) and prevent damage to the basic cell unit from minor accidental shocks. And all these are derived from petroleum in petrochemical plant. |

packagerz: WHY TOLERANCE IS NOT AN OPTION
Dear Friends, In the face of the kind of divisiveness that we face as a nation today, I consider the application of logic as illogical. My position is based on the premise that abnormal situations brings about abnormal measures.
It is not logical to apply logic when illogical things are happening. When people take up arms and slaughter other humans who are defenceless, harmless, and most times innocent, that is illogical. When our security forces rely on vigilantes to protect our societies, that is illogical. When you can’t make a phone call in a “NEPA” office because of the loud sound from generators, that is illogical. If we want to apply logic, then it is an eye for an eye, and soon enough, all of us will be blind.
Now, I am not advocating that we ignore veritable threats to lives, especially now that our security forces seems overwhelmed, No! Everyone has a right to life and security, even when it means safeguarding those rights by oneself.
What I am advocating is that we imbibe the spirits of restraint, from engaging in rhetoric that will escalate an already dicey situation. I am advocating the bridging of gaps that could enable our nation’s best minds to come together and work together to create ground breaking innovations in science, technology, the arts, and importantly, governance.
Recently, I learned that China has about 56 ethnic groups. Who knew? But see where they are! Today Rwanda is becoming a beacon of development and progress because of what I may describe as an enforced National policy of tolerance. Rwandans after emerging from one of the most brutal ethnic conflicts in history, realized that the only way to move forward is through tolerance. Do you know that in Rwanda, it is criminal to identify yourself on the basis of your ethnicity? Everyone is Rwandan.
If we must move forward as a people, we will have to start looking beyond where our leaders should come from, and start focusing on what they can do. And in other to achieve that, tolerance is not an option. It is a vital necessity at the moment. One day, let’s learn to and preach tolerance.
God bless us all.
Dr Ramon Adedoyin Maye of Yoruba kingdom Good points you raised sir, but in the case of Nigeria, it is impossible to unite everybody because our political leaders are benefiting from the division. Remember Sunny Okosun's "which way Nigeria" in the early 80's then you will understand my view because some people want to lord it over the rest of the country and of course it would fail like it happened in many other climes in the past. |
