I find this stat amazing. Does this say anything about promiscuity in some states?

Meanwhile Nigerians can expect a very difficult match against Catalunya on January. Catalunya has named a squad of SIX Barca players and some strong la Liga players. Stephen Keshi has said he will only play the local players. Last time, Catalunya beat us 5-0. I hope they dont double that this time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gOs1wIdAsE |
Keshi, the boss, has left out Nigeria's star striker Oba Martins, but has picked Bright Dike of Portland Timbers in USA! The full squad: Goalkeepers: Vincent Enyeama (Maccabi Tel Aviv, Israel); Austin Ejide (Hapoel Be’er Sheba, Israel); Chigozie Agbim (Enugu Rangers); Daniel Akpeyi (Heartland) Defenders: Elderson Echiejile (FC Braga, Portugal); Juwon Oshaniwa (Ashdod FC, Israel); Benjamin Francis (Heartland); Joseph Yobo (Fenerbahce, Turkey); Efe Ambrose (Celtic, Scotland); Solomon Kwambe (Sunshine Stars); Azubuike Egwuekwe (Warri Wolves); Danny Shittu (Millwall FC, England); Kenneth Omeruo (ADO Den Haag, Netherlands); Godfrey Oboabona (Sunshine Stars) Midfielders: Mikel Obi (Chelsea, England); Nosa Igiebor (Real Betis, Spain); Ogenyi Onazi (SS Lazio, Italy); Raheem Lawal (Adana Demirspor, Turkey); Obiora Nwankwo (Calcio Padova, Italy); Fegor Ogude (Valerenga, Norway); Gabriel Reuben (Kano Pillars); Rabiu Ibrahim (Celtic, Scotland) Forwards: Ahmed Musa (CSKA Moscow, Russia); Emmanuel Emenike (Spartak Moscow, Russia); Brown Ideye (Dynamo Kiev, Ukraine); Victor Moses (Chelsea, England); Uche Kalu (Rizespor, Turkey); Bright Dike (Portland Timbers, USA); Shola Ameobi (Newcastle FC, England); Ikechukwu Uche (Villarreal FC, Spain); Ejike Uzoenyi (Enugu Rangers); Sunday Mba (Enugu Rangers) |
solomon111: WTF!Refute me by naming that Nigerian president who has fought corruption as much as OBJ. Which Nigerian president has had the 'balls' to jail high class thieves? |
nku5: I've been pondering on the role of these two men in the descent of Nigeria to where it is today.Almost everything said about OBJ is false! Name one national asset OBJ sold to himself. If you can find more 'REAL' and honest accusations against OBJ, then I can compare. OBJ's pseudo-military civilian government is so far Nigeria's best. His biggest minus was election manipulation. His biggest plus is anti-corruption |
OYINBOGOJU: Islam was founded on a solid rock of violence. You've made your point and exposed your thoughtlessness. Point noted. Waiting for more intelligent admission from sensible posters |
There are thousands of them so called Naija/British boys roaming about London with no parental care.
Father dey do security 12 hour shift, sometimes asking for overtime (dawn to dusk) Mother dey do care at random hours. Parental care only offered by few phone calls a day. God help Nigerian parents in UK |
Please let the presidency go to the North in 2015. We all owe ourselves a duty to fairness. A northerner in 2015, and Fashola in 2019. Nigerians who are shouting 'Hossanna, Hossana' today will shout 'crucify crucify' tomorrow. Fashola, please concentrate on Lagos. In 2019, Nigerians will have seen that you're the crown prince. |
The Ogun State Government has suspended the Principal, Ajuwon Senior High School, Ajuwon, Ifo Local Government Area, Ogun State, Olufunke Oladeojobi, for allegedly conducting virginity test on her pupils. Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Segun Odubela, told our correspondent on the phone on Wednesday that Oladeojobi had been suspended. Odubela said, “A five-man committee comprising officials of the Ministry of Education and the state Teaching Service Commission has been set up to investigate Oladeojobi. “The committee has been mandated to report back to the government in 14 days. Right now, all I can tell you is that we have suspended her pending the conclusion of investigation.” PUNCH Metro learnt that the government’s resolution came after Odubela and senior officials of the ministry quizzed the principal for over two hours on Wednesday. A source told our correspondent that she was summoned to the ministry after the publication of the story by The PUNCH. Our source said, “We were embarrassed when we read the story in The PUNCH on Wednesday. Immediately, relevant parastatals were asked to contact her and ensure that she appeared at the ministry. “She was quizzed for over two hours and she denied carrying out the test. Rather, she said she only threatened the pupils. “In view of this, we want to appeal to pupils and their parents to come forward whenever they are invited.” Odubela, in a statement, added that the government was always concerned about the welfare and interest of students and therefore would not tolerate any act that would compromise their fundamental rights or jeopardise their future. He said, “We equally believe in the need to maintain discipline in our schools and to follow due process in the handling of this particular case. “We appeal to the parents of the students involved to be patient and allow us to handle the case as dictated by the law of the land and service rules.” Oladeojobi, a reverend, was said to have on December 10 invited a nurse to the school to carry out virginity tests on a group of 10 students. The principal, who the pupils described as a strict disciplinarian, did not seek the consent of the parents/guardians of the pupils before conducting the test. During the test, it was alleged that the principal and the nurse whose name could not be ascertained dipped their fingers into the pupils’ private part. But the matter got out of hand when one of the pupils started bleeding after she had been ‘tested.’ Parents of the pupils later stormed the school in protest resulting in the invitation of policemen from Ajuwon Division. The Divisional Police Officer, Ajuwon Division, Mr. Waheed Yusuf, had on Tuesday confirmed that Oladeojobi was quizzed last week Thursday and Friday. A police source said she confessed to carrying out the test, saying ‘she was trying to help them.’ When our correspondent contacted Oladeojobi on the telephone on Wednesday, she refused to speak on the matter. “I don’t have time to give any explanation, please I have a meeting,” she said and hung up. The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr. Muyiwa Adejobi, said he had yet to be briefed on the incident. Adejobi, who spoke with our correspondent on the phone on Wednesday, said, “All efforts to reach the DPO to brief me on the incident have proved abortive. So, I can’t give you any update but as soon as I am briefed, I will let you know.” Source: Punch Newspaper. |
Big Business if we have all these stadia. Just make Nigerian premier league marketable. Imagine gate fee of 1,000 naira per person in Liberty Stadium. Thats like 40m every week for a full house. Plus sponsorship money, plus media. Nigeria is a place with many untapped mines. Cool pix though |
For fairness and equality, a Northerner for presido and Southerner for vice. Best Northerner to govern Nigeria is tough. No Buhari, but a Buhari mentored 40-something year old honest Muslim is fine with me. NO El-Ruffy, no Lamido. I will say the immediate past governor of Kano will do well with Oshiomole. Final Answer: Shekarau for President, Oshiomole for Vice in 2015 2019 best for BRF |
Our brothers from the East have taken their Jewish attachment to the open world ooo. Here's a BBC report on a new film. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-20721014 |
But how can someone win a beauty competition with fake hair? I dont get how they judge these things. Black women who use fake hair should be ashamed of themselves. If you are not pretty with your own hair, you have no business being called a beauty queen. |
So what? Even here in UK, last year our graduate recruitment got about 300 'strong' applications for 4 positions. Looking at the ratio, it is almost within the same range. Moreso, you will find out that not all the 500k applicants meet the criteria. Once those are weeded out, you will prolly get an effective application ratio of about 1 in 100 or even less. |
Dailymail and its sensationalism. Clearly they do not understand the Nigerian life in UK. There is absolutely nothing religious in this murder. If the man killed because of Islam, did the woman cheat because of Christianity? Is cheating allowed in Christianity? Problem with most people is that they view religious issues with one eye only. This man was clearly frustrated. It is not a new thing in UK for a woman in a stable marriage to start looking out for more companionship. This is just the waywardness of the society and not religious. In fact, most of those who cheat meet each other in religious places ; the churches and the asalatus. The most hit victim of this murder is the 2 year old daughter they left behind. That baby will now be raised by people who care less about her moral development. My fear is that she may end up like most people raised in UK foster homes ; not good. I pray that the Almighty Allah help the innocent baby through the difficult life ahead. She will be at least 23 years before she sees her dad again. |
OH no! |
Smells like MI6, feels like MI6, sounds like MI6. Royal insult from a bloody non royal blood, you know it won't go unpunished. The people who killed Diana surely should be investigated. Reading the statement from the hospital board is enough for me. That was a statement written in a rush to affirm suicide, but one wonders why will suicide come after a prank call. Well done the boys at Vauxhall. |
Dee60: The Commander-in-Chief has decided. Let us leave it at that. In the military you do not protest routine postings and that is what those gentlemen signed for.OH really? Abu Boko deserves that title more than our arindin presido |
We need more than 10. I pray Jonathan buys at least 10 more. When the messiah president arrives, we will make all of them commercial, and Nigeria Airways can be back to where it belongs. |
This is NOT Boko Haram. putting one plus one together tells me Boko Haram does not act like this. Maybe some other people are pursuing vendatta. |
Unknown Member: https://imostate.blog.com/files/2011/06/hex.jpgWharrisdis?? Whats Mazi Okorocha doing? or what does he think he's doing? Also did I just see Mrs Adamawa wear a lab spec? Surely that is a plastic 'goggle' |
confusion247: If you are a yoruba muslem, you are a true muslem and a good representative of peaceful Islam. If you keep quite on the evil going on in northern Nigeria in the name of Islam then you are worst than boko haram. Yesterday four people died and a church burned because someone pronounced a word wrongly and the meaning was labeled as blasphemy. Please call evil evil no matter who is involved. What is evil is the insults to Islam I see on this thread and others on Nairaland. As you have labelled me 'Yoruba Muslim', I will tell you that the Igbo Christian fanatics on Nairaland are getting more and more pathetic. They are mostly literary challenged but can type a few words of insult. They do not think properly and are easily deluded. Terror is appalling. Islam is against it. I have said this time without number on this forum. The Quran forbids killing. Most ignorant ones on this website chose not to look at that. They are quick to type without thinking. Muslims are killed by Boko haram, but it is Islam that is blamed for it. Racism and Islamophobia on Nairaland is getting pathetic. Grandstanding by christians here is sickening. I will adopt a siddon-look approach henceforth. |
Nigerian youths are intelligent. But the ones commenting on this story are disappointing. So some killers went from house to house at night, killing ladies wearing mini skirts. Who wears mini skirt at night? Having said all that, the people who come here to bash Islam pathetically distort their own judgement. It fruitless trying to argue anything. I feel there is a new wave of Islamophobia on the internet in Nigeria, with this dodgy Vanguard story and the response accompanying it. It is pathetic, and I will refrain from commenting on such threads henceforth. If you believe Islam is violent, and all, its your burden. Muslims do not need to prove to anyone. Internet is enough to inform people who want the truth. |
Asiwaju9ja: AND 90% OF MUSLIMS WOULD NOT CONDEMN THIS WICKED ACT.If not that I'm fasting, I would have said something to you, which though is the truth, will really offend you. You lot all forget that the victim is a Muslim family, trying to score cheap silly points with unitelligent assumptions and inferences. |

So pathetic that NONE of the ladies in the pictures actually has natural looks. They are over 60% FAKE. Big ups to our mothers who never needed pancake or photoshop to look pretty. |
Israeli spokesman..He is afraid of coming on British TV anymore. Just saw him on CNN now. Thats where he can get away with lies.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8ZynJF5NMs |
Leadn: WW3 prepping up... I hope Gaza would be able to handle God/Israels wrath??so God = Israel. I ask you which Israel? The Zionist Israel or the Israel of the bible and Quran? Zionists are the worlds last racists, oppressors and war mongers. They will assasinate anyone they dont like. Is that how God wants it? Does God want more orphans in Gaza? Does God want oppression of innocent civilians? Think well before giving me answers. Dont come back here to repeat the zionist propaganda implanted in your head over time. |
The person who wrote this article is obviously blinded by patriotism or favouritism. Of over 130 rockets, the 'world famous' iron dome intercepted 27! Thats as ineffective as it gets. Israel need to realise that it is not longer as effective in propaganda wars as before. In England, they've been caught out. Sarkozy calls Bibi a liar. The world will soo be pushed to the wall by Israel and its zionist war mongering. Only Israel wants to fight Iran, Palestine, Egypt, Syria, Jordan. KILODE! Hezbollah was able to decimate the Israeli advance in 2006. Hamas has effectively taken out 3 people within the strongly fortified Tel Aviv. Israel can tell the story as much as they want, what an intelligent mind sees is a stronger and determined freedom fighting Hamas and an increasingly outdated Israeli tactic. God the almighty will disgrace all oppresors. |
