Amastermovic: This is nice I will research more extensively on it pls provide d company name or product name. When welding is done it may reduces the strength of steel when not properly done reason we don't advise such but on some of the project have work on we usually template on ur rebar for it. Not to move out of position Staslhandel Van Zijl NV, Rotterdam. Metalhandel Christiaens, Eeklo, Belgium. MetaalGaller also in Belgium to name a few. They are big metal warehouse/factories where you can order base on your requirements, it will be produced and delivered to your site. They also produce for known brands. If you need reinforcement rebar all they need is the measurements, specifications or project drawing. I have been in these warehouse, the choices are too enormous, there you realise how advanced human technology has gone.

Amastermovic: This will mostly not be recommended because we can't satisfy the welding requirements which is used to connect d bars together if it can transfer the stresses received
The general arrangements of the panel may not conforms with this template and may not satisfy anchorage , lap length from one members to the order..
Don't know if this is easy to move between floors because still is heavy during construction
The bar spacing requirements also will be an issue
This maybe suitable in composite construction of slab though , To reduce crack on a lightly loaded pedestrian crowd walkway The welding are mostly factory done with computer assisted and precision, they also personally do the welding on site with a special spacing tools that give precise results. I noticed it commonly used in foundations, decking, load bearing floors, light roads(on heavy load roads they uses bigger sizes) and concrete roof.

Dennis3D: Its not used for decking because it's not the right reinforcement for decking concrete works. Check your structural design for reinforcement details.
It might look beautiful in the eye but doesn't poses the structural integrity to carry the load that it's meant to carry. I am not a building engineer but I have to disagree with you on this,....that reinforcement rods and pattern are widely used all over Europe till date for decking, foundations and load bearing floors. 5 building on my street that went up recently were the same pattern. I will speak to one of the structural engineer one day, I want to know the advantages behind the double iron rod mat layer.

Just wondering why are these type of iron rod mats not being used for decking and concrete work in Nigeria? They are readily available for installation, cost less time and work to install.

bixton: You can keep up with your graphic curve. Probably you'll get a foreign acceptable vaccine from 2023.....if it's even possible. Nigeria joined COVID-19 international experimental vaccines trial, I am sure Nigeria ministry health through WHO must have conducted a trial to see how it work with us because it's top secret, trial drugs are tested over wide range of volunteers base on race, location and different groups of individual to see how effect in combating the disease and it side effect. Trials goes through several phases before being certified safe for use, these are serious and hectic procedures base on structured medical ethics, not like our molue drugs or agbo style! Sure, with a doctor prescription I can walk into a pharmacy to get covid-19 vaccine from March 2021, that's not a big deal, the vaccine is almost ready to be presented for approval because it has met most of the requirements specified. |

bixton: There's an existing vaccine of the bold already in Nigeria but most of us are waiting for WHO vaccine. Covid-19 is just an extra illness that affects aged people having symptoms of other underlying diseases. It's obvious you are ignorant to what vaccine is and the safety procedures it goes through before approval for safe use,.... Nigeria don't have the laboratory to certify vaccines nor develop an ingredient to make one. You haven't seen a covid-19 patient, so that assertion and assumption is complete rubbish. Grafic curve shows infections in age groups.

WelcomeToBiafra: You see why I'm calling Nigeria a poultry republic and so called Nigerians reasoning like senseless chicken in the poultries!
These old men and women in government are there stealing our money and killing innocent people on daily basis; yet all these senseless chicken called Nigerians are here talking senselessly. Can you imagine that? The young one should respect the elders destroying their life with bad and timid governance but the young must not protest or make comments. Nigerians are not ready to liberate themselves. |

Wizkid acted like a fool, for whatever reason never act or speak rudely to your elders especially as an Omoluabi
Burna boy dodged everything
Davido flew to Ghana to flex
But the drug addict Naira Marley and his Marlian thugs have pulled more publicity than anyone else in this EndSars saga, they surprised me by getting a dialogue with the IG and Police PRO
. But the same elders can and are rudely destroying the future of the young ones and running the country aground? Respect is not a right dude!, who want respect must earn it, tell me what Buhari and his administration has done to deserve respect? |

n3xt: Yeah!
Unfortunately, we have far too many example of what happens when decency fails.
If we can become more intentional about decency, I believe it can become a healing force our nation need right now.
A nation driven by decency don’t consider just what’s being created they consider what’s being destroyed. We are too selfish, public decency is about respect for fellow citizens, public order and decorum. Certain things are created to protect or avoid a situation, intelligent ignorance wouldn't make us to intentionally adapt to decency. |

The guy was parked on that lane and the grass verge trying to figure out what to do before the other car ran into him. Trust Nigeria drivers, they will use emergency lane as a normal driving lane, the same with driving through traffic lights on red...... Nigerians are not alone in that habit though, I had to really laugh hard when I saw the same in Turkey. |

BennyDon: If you can't sell any part of your body for money, dare not sell plots of land where your parents were buried.
Keeping the land for your family is an indicator that you love and cherish them.
Times are hard yes but I want you to know tough times don't last. There's always light after the tunnel. Some people are just after free money they can get....they wouldn't consider how hard the parent worked to acquire the land.....parent house should be a legacy not an opportunity to get rich or make money. Only lazy people without life plan does that. |

rotecch77: My motive of showing all these is just to remind us all that we have so many beautiful places in Nigeria here where you can live and establish business without much fear once you do your feasibility studies of the area(mainly for visitor or diaspora people who only visited there home town once in a decade. As you can see Nigeria is not a shit hole.
Here we go again
Anambra state: Igbo kwenu” I hail oo
List of few cities/ towns in Anambra Awka ; capital Nnewi Onitsha Omor Agulu Ihiala Etc
Anambra; light of the nation “ formal known as “ home for all”
Total Area; 4,844km2 The issue is not about beauty or how clean the place is but security. Tourist want come over to see and enjoy how we live, do things, transportation (good or bad it doesn't matter), environment, weather, culture etc.....There is no guarantee that an American or European or potential tourist will visit a remote area without been seen as a potential target for ransom, 419 or been robbed of his valuable. I have visited places less better or equal to Naija without fear of been harmed or seen as a target because they have a trusted security system that fight and punish crime accordingly. |

Footstradamus: I don't think i am. You argue against properties up for rental having ensuite bedrooms with a visitors toilet, but then willfully ignore the fact that renters are also entitled to taste and generally you can always charge more for a house with all ensuite bathrooms. So far you have not acknowledged any merits of a house having all ensuite bathrooms and your only demerits are cost and overkill.
You actually showed your hand when you agreed with the poster who said "if the tenant has high tastes he should go and build his house" which is an unfortunate mindset to have. Renting doesn't strip an individual of taste. Probably you have been reading my comments anti-clockwise . To set the record straight.....like I already said somewhere I pointed out that 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms in a 2 bedrooms apartment is an overkill demand/design, that I believe 2 toilets and 1 bathroom will be more than enough to function properly will all needed comfort and privacy. I also said I am not a fan of all bedrooms ensuite (my choice) because I can't imagine the duration it will be put to use before the kids leave the house, even with guest coming the frequency can never be daily/weekly occurrence, I don't believe in wastage. I believe anyone is entitled to their opinion or taste but if a renter have an outrageous taste and demand I will politely recommend @true2home idea too: If a tenant is too big for what I have to rent, they are way too big to be a renter; I always advise them to go build their own house. #peace |
