So this news is not true then EEDC promises 20-hour electricity supply in Imo By Chinonso Alozie – Owerri The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, EEDC, yesterday, said it has concluded plans to provide electricity supply up to 20 hours a day in Imo State. The EEDC, head of communications, Emeka Ezeh, disclosed this to newsmen in Owerri. EEDC, said it was made possible after the commission has completed two power projects to the tune of N200 million to up the power supply in major parts of the state, one of which was the Oguta 33KV double circuit line. Ezeh narrated: “In line with her commitment towards improving the socio-economic state of the South East region, the Enugu Electricity Distribution PLC (EEDC) recently completed two major projects in Imo State. “These projects, which is estimated at over N200 million are: a dedicated 33KV line constructed for one of the company’s industrial customer, Alex Aluminium Company; and Oguta 33KV double circuit line. Both lines will radiate from Egbu Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) Station
The news is true. It's just that the community where I live hoards the light from us. And I thought the EEDC could look into it and I'm sure my community are not remitting money to them. Modified Tag me I said! |
LosC:Any tips from you? |
cRobo:Learned mine early enough. |
helinues:Not when money is involved. As EEDC will make a whole lotta money. |

lonikit:I'm not trying to discourage you, you have made your decision and that's cool. So long as you have peace, that's awesome. But on the part of testing her and she passed them all, you can not test those who invented the word test. Women invented "test" as a word in the world of gaming. Wish you a happy married life bro. So long as it's your decision and no one forced or manipulated you into marrying her. |

So, What's up with the shaking of head?! ![]() Please make your message clear before we go further. Thanks!
I want to report the community where I live for mismanagement of light and to make sure the meter gets to us. We are under EEDC. So I called you in because you are conversant with politics and I thought maybe you could point me in the right direction. Any tips? |
Martinez39s:This reminds me of the story of The scorpion and the frog. For those who don't know about it, here it is [/sup] The scorpion and the frog met at the bank of a river, and both wants to cross to the other side of the river. The frog obviously could swim whilst the scorpion couldn't. The scorpion begged the frog to help him cross over to the other side since both are headed same way, the frog refused saying "you will sting me". The scorpion replied "how can I sting you since you are helping me cross the river, besides if I sting you, you will die and I will drown" The frog refused still. And some how the scorpion managed to convince the frog to help it cross over to the other side with the promise of never to sting the frog. The frog later agreed. Whilst they were crossing the river and right in the middle of the river, the scorpion stung the frog.. To death.. And while both where drowning, with the last breath the frog had, it asked the scorpion "why did you sting me, you promised you will never?" And the scorpion replied the frog "it's in my nature. You can never change me" Both drowned and died. Morale lesson, you cant change the nature of anyone, and one shouldn't fall for their frail promise. SM and evening newspapers are always nice to men whom they view can be their suitor. Don't fall for that. |
LilMissFavvy:Noice story. Very touching. |
CAPSLOCKED:I do not wish to be in your area rn. |

Currently I stay in Imo state, and in my neighborhood, we've had enough of the indigenes and their bullsh.it with how they are maltreating we the tenants via light. They are in much control of the light. They heaped heavy bills on us the tenants yet we still pay without complaints and I got to find out that they indigenes don't pay too tho that is not my problem. My problem is, we pay 2k (two thousand naira) per month (depending on the house and if you borehole), yet we may only use 2wks of light when calculated. Sometimes we stay for over a week without lights yet we pay electric bills. If you don't pay, they cut your wire and you will pay reconnection fee. Now they have imposed another bill on us up to 5k (five thousand naira) a month on us! How do I report this so that where I live everyone gets a metre? Martinez39s CAPSLOCKED anyone? |
