When we x-ray the problem of this country, properly and honestly, it will dawn on all of us that it is not a "Geographical Problem" but a "Human Problem" and people like me dont understand why the Igbos ALWAYS reduce the problem of Nigeria to "Let Biafra Go". I am not against Biafra going but l can say with confidence that it does not solve the problem we see among Igbos in Alaigbo nor anywhere in Nigeria, Problems which will also raise their ugly head in that Biafra. I agree that Nigeria is not properly governed and it is even worse, under the current Jihadist in Aso Rock but 96% of Nigeria's problems are caused by Nigerians, these Problems are in every Local Govt Area of Nigeria and among every Nigeria, from the North to the East to the West and South South. Just look at the sheer evil going on in NDDC right now? Can we blame restructuring or "Let Biafra go" for that? Can we blame Northerners for that? Can we blame Buhari for that? If we say let the South South be a separate country today, is it not the Akpabios, the Daniel Pondei, Cairo Ojugo, the Joi Nunnehs of this world that will be Rulling the place? Will the looting and under-development had stopped? What about the South East, is it not the same Rogues representing you at the National Assembly, as Governors, as LGA Chairmen, etc, the same Rogues in the Public Service, that would be governing the place? Ditto for all other regiosn of the country and that is why l said, "Geaographical Expression called Nigeria" is not our major problem, if it is at all but it is THE PEOPLE, (Nigerians) that are creating the problems for us. Granted, the terrorists "foreign" Fulani Herdsmen, especially under this Buhari, has become a very unsustainable Parasite and a danger to life in Southern Nigeria. But that is just one of the many problems. Having the right people in Power, is the first step and this cannot be achieved without a Revolution, reason being that the leeches are from every tribe and every location in Nigeria. If we can get rid of the leeches in power, it wil be a starting point to a sustainable Regionalism that will solve our problem and yields required results. But just asking for Balkanisation of Nigeria at every opportunit and problem, makes it look like an unreasoned fixation borne out of lack of understanding of the real issues at stake. The earlier that we all realise that using tribalism and the barometer for our thinking and decision making will not help us, the better and faster we can all sit down together and chase away dem Babylonians making life diffuclt for everyone, including those who think they live in Banana Island. May God help us. |

frankmoney:Read the Post properly, the Landlord is to be held responsible for remittance, if he does not enforce and collect it from his Tenants. Do you think a Landlord will want to go to jail, for a tenant who refuses to pay the Tax? He will just throw you out and if you go to Court or Police, he has a valid reason: You refused to comply with Govt directive and put his own liberty/freedom in jeopardy. What we should focus on is how to unite to frustrate the criminality of the Buhari Govt, by banding together to disobey the law, not turn on ourselves or the Landlord, who was not responsible for such stupid law. |

Where was the Govt when Landlord was buying Cement, Sand, gravel, Blocks, Cables, Iron, etc, at astronomical Prices? Where was the Nigerian Govt when the Landlord has to pay for his own Borehole, do drainage Gutter, do the road to his house, buy Nepa Pole and Cable, etc..... things that Govt provides in other foreign countries! Did Govt advice Market Women to reduce the price ofgroceries that has TRIPPLED between March and today, during this Covid-19 Pandemic? Has the Govt adviced Transporters to reduce the astronomical increase in transport fare, during this Covid-19? Ordinary 'NEPA' (the DIscos) that promised that it would not disconnect consumers during Covid-19 has not only started carrying diconnection Ladder all over the place but it has sort to even increase, the Tarrif, never mind that it did not give us the free electricity it promised. So, the Nigerian Govt is a failed Govt. Buhari has failed miserably. The Leaders in those countries that are advicing Landlords to reduce or forgo Rents have ensured that they give free food, a basic amount fo weekly income and so many other incentives for such citizens and Landlord such that the Landlord will find it "reasonable" to follow such directive. How can a Landlord buy a Bag of Rice for #16,000 in January and then buy the same thing for #26,000 in June, and you want to advice him to reduce or forgo his Rent, will he not ask you whether you will pay for the Rice he bought at an extra #10,,000 increase or is it not from what someone is 'selling' that they buy other things and feed themselves from? Nigeria has become a "Dog-Eat-Dog Country", a totally failed system, especially under this useless Jihadist in Aso Rock. |

Why collect 185K from him? Why is Bail of 50K collected from him when it is supposed to be free, once he can provide Sureties? Those who collected both monies are criminals, should be arrested and made to face the wrath of the law and his money refunded back to him. I have NEVER PAID for Bail on anyones behalf, not to even mention myself (Lawyer or self recognition does it) and l will drag any Police Officer who demands such from me to free anyone l know, to the Pit of Hell. Give than money to your Lawyer, instead of giving the Police for Bail. |

Poorly educated (those who went to the University but learned nothing! ) and stark illiterates are jumping up and down trying to riddicule Degree holders.The CERTIFICATE is just a Small Piece of Paper, a very, very important piece of Paper that Certifies to others, that you have put-in the hardwork of acquiring knowledge in a structure environment of a University and anyone you show it to, can work on the initial assumption that you are a graduate, then you have to prove to such person that you actually learned something useful in that University. They forget that it is not the Certificate that is the problem in Nigeria, it is the corrupt leaders that fail to provide the enabling environment for such graduates to prosper! It is the DUTY of the Govt, through POLICY and IMPLEMENTATION, to provide Basic Inftrastructure like Electricity, Roads, Water, Network Backbone (in conjunctio with Telecoms Compnaies) Safety and Security of Lives/Property. Thats all. Then let the people blossom and use their acquired knowledge to pruduce goods and services. That is how it is done in other places where you will never hear one idiot come online to write rubbish about education. In sane countries, even people who have made a lot of money, are still clamouring to get a University certificate or its equivalent. I watched where an old woman in the USA makes Face Masks and Posts it out in an ORDINARY ENVELOPE, to friends and customers and they recieve it intact. The whole process is SAFE AND SECURE. Now, if you do that in Nigeria (where you can still find a Post Office ) it will certainly be stolen at the Post Office or by a Post man.So, if that Successful woman in the US is brought to Nigeria, she would become a Failure, tha is how Govt Policies and Actions affects the success of her citizens. No one is expecting the Govt to baby-feed them but nstead of these brazen looting as we have everywhere, from EFCC to NDDC, to COVID-19 PTF, to Governors, to the President and his fronts, etc............ play your part and stop calling them lazy Yoots. Even small, small African countries are leaving us behind. |

Most of what he wrote are just unrealistic and not for the Nigerian environment, apart from students needing to apply themselves properly to their studies in the University. Maybe he just copied it from somewhere and wants to impress. Otherwise, is it in this Nigeria that a lot of University students have to forgo classroom and go find a job outside Campus, just to buy books or pay for handouts, is when they will have time to do any extra curricula activity or volunteer or do a double major. How would most students not struggle, in an environment where the Laboratories are empty, where even the lecturers are not intune with modern technoly and developments and just recycling what they were taught thirty years ago! How many Lecturers go into Industry and apply their knwledge to develop tolls and services that we need in everyday life, not to talk of their students? Is it Lecturers that are owed for upwards of six months salary or students of schools that are on strike 59% of the year, that will excel in future or compare favourably with their mates from Private Universities or foreign schools? Abeg, the educational system is rotten, the few people who are able to excel are just those who are particularly determined and have the support of parents or relations who are of help. It never ceases to amaze me when illiterates and poory or half educated illiterates condemn highly educated people! Their examples are always from the few half-baked degree holders around, they never see the first class Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers, Aeuronautics and Space Scientists, Software Designers, Chartered Accountants, CyberSucurity Engineers, etc who are making six dollar figures monthly You illiterates thinking buying and selling iwhtout regulation as obtained in Nigeria, is wealth, right? Dont justify your lack of education by comparing yourself to someone who did not apply him/herself properly in School and came out fo the University not knowing what to do. Those ones are just suffering the consequences of their laziness and truancy. Education is the best legacy! Education is about KNOWLEDGE, the Money is just a "natural", addded advantage People hav ebeen seeking knowledge and wisdom in form of education, since the ancient days because they know how important it is. All these are just SMOKE-SCREEN, Jagaban Tinubu knows that he wont be President, though there is nothung wrong in aspiring to be one but since we operate a Democracy, as against a Military Coup, a few thousands of Area Boys and Agberos in Lagos, cannot Tinubu the President of Nigeria, that is a FACT! It will take majority of Nigerians to achieve that Presidential ambition and if things are as they are TODAY, that ambition, if he is even nursing it (bceause l think all these is just a "game of bargaining" for future contracts and other perks)...that ambition is DEAD ON ARRIVAL. The South West and indeed Southern Nigeria knows that right now, only the Candidacy of the current V.P, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and that of the former Governor or Lagos and current Minister, Raji Fashola, can "fly nationally" and win a National election, Tinubu can only support or oppose these two people.
