Romance › Re: My Bitter- Sweet Love Story Of 2024. by Onegai(mod):
Topbrass:
This is spot on. As I knew, I actually mentioned this to her. Women are a funny kind though. So much experience from those ahead of them but yet they don't connect the dots
Well, I know somewhere down the road, she will look back and have a tinge of regret. She actually confessed she's never met a much nicer person than me. Thanks brother.
She doesn't love you.

She's very clear about that. You're like an Uncle to her (ouch) and this is Nigeria, older men stealing kisses in exchange for favours is nothing new. Worse, her mum is probably encouraging it because you're a Poverty Alleviation program to her and her family.

She won't regret you, she will one day talk about that nice and generous Uncle who sponsored her but she won't regret you the same way she will regret a 30 yr old banker guy she dated.

Our Father in Heaven is rolling His eyes at you and your arrogance and conceit thinking you're the best thing since sliced bread.

Dude, you're pushing 50, your peni.s is slowing down, your knees are buckling, you have a back that hurts you once in a while, you'd rather be asleep at 12 midnight than in a bar, you can't tell the difference between Darkoo and Victony grin and you're a few years away from your first cholesterol medication being prescribed.

I'm being harsh but we really need to be honest here.

2 weeks ago, I met a young woman (a baddie) at the airport and as we were chatting, a man in his 30s stopped us and pulled her aside to hit on her. And I had to laugh. Because that is the first time in my life that has ever happened (20 years ago, I was winning awards for Most Sought After Female in the most popular uni in Nigeria cheesy). Now, I'm still pretty but men's eyes are drawn to the hottie beside me.

And that's life and I can talk about "OMG they're missing out on my experience!" Or I can be real with myself (don't worry I have 60 year olds who act like lecherous Uncles to me grin).

She's not your wife. You're not her husband. But we can talk about this and I think you'll find your woman.
Romance › Re: My Bitter- Sweet Love Story Of 2024. by Onegai(mod): 7:23am On Aug 16, 2025
You're not in love with Mira and she's certainly not in love with you. At best, she's grateful for what you've done for her and her family. At best.

What you're feeling is Limerence. Last time you felt like that was when you were young. And it feels wonderful and you've put Mira on a pedestal, she's this beautiful untouched angel in your mind... Because there's something in her that triggered that emotion in you. You feel the need to protect her and steal kisses, just like a teenage boy feels.

But it's not love and unfortunately Limerence can last at most 3 years. It may end up as love but most times it doesn't.

So ask yourself "what exactly was it about her I liked so much?". And then go find it in a more calmer matured way.

And I will say something a poster said earlier: go talk to your ex-wife. I know this is crazy but I assure you, there's a huge chance that wetin you dey look for in Sokoto, dey your shokoto.

(An old song lyric, that last line).

There's an empty-ness inside you that you're struggling to fill up with the wrong things and the wrong people. And only one being can fill it up: our Lord.

(Before you write me off, please go through my posts and decide for yourself if you'd like to keep talking. I understand well what you're going through).
Romance › Re: Have I Cheated On My Husband? by Onegai(mod): 6:41am On Aug 16, 2025
Preciousgirl:
It's hard for me but I will confess here. My colleague of course male colleague playfully held my waist at the workplace and I got aroused. I have never had feelings for him though. I was a little wet. Have I cheated? Should I confess this to my husband? What really happened since I don't have feelings for the guy? Could that me juju at work?
No you haven't. You're human, being attracted to another person will happen.

What you NEED to do now is to start treating that colleague like he has leprosy, in your mind. The devil will try and use him and he will come and be asking you "what's wrong nau, are we quarrelling?". Smile and say "no" but let that be the absolute last time you are ever alone with him or speak to him privately. I'm dead serious, don't even THINK of downplaying this and saying "there's nothing going o, let me be matured". The devil will laugh and realize you're No 2,637,879th victim he's just caught.

Go home to your husband and become playful with him. Why? Because your colleague gave you 20% of what you wanted (Playful Affection and Attention) and you're about to throw away 80% of what you have for that 20%.

And that's just bad Math for life undecided

So go and get that playfulness from your legal man: buy some lingerie (lacy nonsense), tight mini jeans shorts, rub your body on your hubby anyhow, share jokes with him, wear perfume and lipgloss around the house.

Sirchiboy:
I am wounded , my mental health is worsening due to a traumatic childhood.
I tried but my best was not good enough.
If you're in Lagos, please go to General Hospital Odan, Lagos Island. It's on Broad street, Lagos Island. They have a department of Psychiatry and Psychology, with trained and certified Doctors. Plus it will be the cheapest place you'll find, as private Psychologists will charge up to N30k per session.

When you get to their front desk, tell them you want to be referred. They'll sign you up for a card for the entire hospital first. Which means you have access to every other department.

They're one of the few hospitals with consultants, left in Nigeria (I'm speaking from experience, they're better than LUTH). So you have access to Dermatologists, Physiotherapists, Paediatricians, OBGYNs and every other medical specialty including Psychiatry.

Try and go in the mornings.

You will see the foreign couples of 15,20,25yrs, they have pictures of every year. Nigerian couples would have 2025, the next slide 2020. Then 2018. When they die, they will tell us that they have been in love for over 4 decades, yet their pictures would be 4 with angry faces.

- Mama at the omugwo of her first daughter.
- Papa learning carpentry at Okija.
The only picture you see them standing together would be their wedding ceremony and that of their kids.
grin grin grin grin grin crying with laughter at this. Very specific examples.

It's true sha. We should be more loving whilst we have time to. And document that love as well.

Kalulu44:
In as much as I don't believe in that theory too, but according to them they say if you sleep with the woman after knowing she cheated you will die. But in all the scenarios you talked about, the women only left and there was never a chance for their ex to sleep with them which might have brought the repercussion if what they believe is true
Well, the first scenario, the woman was still sleeping with the 2 men until she left her husband for the 2nd man. That, I'm very sure of (please don't ask me how). And nothing happened, so... undecided

I do believe in Spiritual battles, because I believe in God's existence (He is real). Which means there must be an opposite force to Him. Every religion states it: yin and yang, good and evil. Balance. Good will eventually win but evil exists. And evil does have powers.

But I just don't think, looking at how the devil operates, that he'll kill a man whose wife is cheating. Because that situation is already awful, yet he can use that cheated-on man to wreck even more havoc and cause more sin (down to the next generation). It's like chess: why get rid of a pawn that will be useful?

It's why, no matter what, forgiveness is the best way. It is a gift you're giving yourself: you're releasing your pain to the Lord, who is just and merciful (trust me, He will deal with all parties involved smiley, without causing you to fall into sin trying to get revenge.

Now reconciliation, that's up to the Lord as well. The book of Hosea shows what is possible. And men expect women to forgive adultery but won't forgive hers, yet can't understand why marriages keep shaking. Maybe we should stop being hypocrites?

Have a good morning. smiley

Romance › Re: Why Are Chinese Men More Willing To Marry Black Women As Their Wives? by Onegai(mod): 7:31am On Aug 11, 2025
1. Because China's One Child policy means that there are not enough Chinese women to go round. So it has become expensive to marry one (you literally have to have a house before you marry in their culture).

2. Because China is also having population slowdown (like almost all developed countries are suffering, Japan, America, Hungary, South Korea etc) and their govt is now pushing marriage and pregnancy.

3. Because Chinese men who have money and status marry Chinese women. Chinese men who have money but not a lot of status marry Russian and Ukrainian women (most of whom are "Instagram Models" wink)

4. Because Chinese men who are lower income used to buy/kidnap Asian women (from Laos etc) from poorer countries for a long time to have babies for them. But there was small public outcry and the govt stepped in to make sure the women don't mistreated.

5. Because the even poorer Chinese men are now heading to Africa to marry African women. Before, they were abandoning the African women and their half-Chinese babies (Uganda, Kenya etc) because China prioritises white skin but now they're taking them home.

Most likely Chinese Govt (who plan by decades and centuries, unlike us Africans cry) have reasoned that everyone can bring their families back to the Mainland and the half-Chinese will intermarry with full Chinese and their kids will become 3/4 Chinese, thus solving their population problem neatly.

After all, China is a country that has centuries of multi-ethnic tribes under one roof. They've done this several times before.
Romance › Re: Virginity doesn't guarantee a Successful Marriage by Onegai(mod): 11:23am On Aug 10, 2025
Folks, gather here let me tell you a tale of 2 women, a virgin and not-a-virgin.

Once upon a time (almost 17 years ago cheesy), I had a family friend, who we will call Mike. Mike's mother and mine were best of friends to the point that they will call each other and spend hours gossiping on the phone. Mike's mum wanted our families to be joined permanently, so she started pushing me and Mike together. Then unfortunately, she passed away... cry

We all grieved and Mike and I got close. He asked me out, but mentioned that his brother had met this young NYSC babe named...Crazy Igbo Chic (CIC for short) and had introduced them, they were in talking stage but long distance. They had never met in real life. He would call it off for me.

Now, MIke was doing very well, young and had just bought his house (thanks to his job). And there has never lived an Igbo woman who sees money...errrr I mean a good man wink and leaves it alone. CIC (who had never met Mike in person proceeded to burst into tears on the phone and declared she had fallen in love with Mike after one month of chatting with him on the phone and NEVER meeting him in person. When Mike laughed at that absurdity, CIC dropped the ultimate bomb:

"Mike, I am a Virgin! And I will give my virginity to you"

Go on, laugh. But guess what? IT WORKED!

Men arrogantly think they're very clever and immune to Manipulation. They boast that they're in charge, on top of the matter but meanwhile Manipulative women have spun a trap and the man is squirming inside. Flies don't realise the spider web is sticky till they're caught and it's too late. A humble man is one who fears the Lord and realises he doesn't know much.

Mike, olodo like he was, was very arrogant (money gives you false pride and belief in your ability). Even though he liked me more, he wanted to eat Virgin puna. So he played us against each other, CIC played him and I withdraw from the race. CIC travelled to his location, promptly moved her "Virgin" puna into his house and started acting as wife. Just like a good, godly woman would do: cohabition and fornication grin

Even from her pictures, you knew CIC was lying but you men are easy to manipulate sha. Mike's former classmates were laughing at him but nobody told him because they all thought he was an arrogant arse and deserved to be messed with.

A year later, I had moved onto another relationship, Mike and CIC were apparently cooling off because relationships based on deceit no dey last. How did I know? One day, I got an anonymous email insulting me in vulgar language, about Mike. It was clearly CIC and she thought that Mike was about to break up with her and come back to me. Real good, godly woman behaviour there. I blocked her, told Mike's family (who, ashamed, had to save face and defend her actions because she was their son's babe) and moved on.

CIC manipulated some more and I guess it worked, Mike married her.

I later heard that Mike's sisters disliked CIC because she was so awful, which made my mum laugh. Because someone who started with so many red flags, you were all expecting her to be a Good person? C'mon nau...

As for Mike, who knows if he's happy? But at least he got his "Virgin".

And what advice will I give my sons?

"My dear boys, any woman who tells you she is a virgin, assume she's trying to manipulate you. Because whilst her virginity is good and is a sign of discipline towards God, you have NO idea of knowing if she's lying and even if she's not, that doesn't negate her other flaws. So shine your eye".

As a traditional man, you should know realtime when an unfortunate man attempts to visit your garden. In some traditions, the husband would die in 7 days if he sleeps with the wife or eat food prepared by her. A lot of innocent men don go like animals.

If you know say you be spiritual person, marry well or stay single to live long and consolidate on your powers.
Hmmm, my cousin's stepmother is still alive and her ex-husband lived even longer than the man she left him and her kids for o...🤔

Even the one that came home from abroad with a biracial baby, the Nigerian husband didn't die in 7 days o...🤔. Natural causes of old age got him.

Even the Ghanaian one that packed herself and her child into a wealthy Yoruba man's house, her ex lived o...🤔

Has anyone checked on Yul's baby Mama's ex-husband? Itzz laike he's alive o...🤔

Infact, when I think of all the Grandmothers I know who left their husbands for another (usually richer) man, most are alive. Sure, the relationship built on Infidelity and Greed failed and the consequences affected their children and everyone regretted it (because God is a God of mercy yes, but also justice), but nobody didn't die in 7 days o...🤔

E be like say the juju no dey work in Igbo land, South South and Yoruba tribes 😔 (because that's not how the devil works, he loves sin and won't kill anybody when he knows that the longer they live, the more likely they too will join the cheating wife to sin, which is a win-win for the devil).

I am the type that buys whatever I come across deemed good for the family, especially while on road trip.

I noticed each time I tell my wife the actual price of the items I bought, she always complain I was cheated by the seller.

These are items you hardly can get within the city center.

The issue now is that, I'm now scared of telling her the true worth of the items I recently got while returning from South South. It was a road trip so I bought plenty cheap food stuff.

Madam say I no Sabi price. I just tire.
These are stuff I considered very very cheap.

Who the experience the same thing abeg ?
How about we ignore all the bad advice dished out here and try and communicate like adults, hmmm?

Tell her "babe/madam, I know you are the Ogbongbe Gbana of pricing, after you na you! I like doing these things to please you but when you complain about the price, it's like you don't appreciate my effort. So why not ignore my pocket and praise your baby for thinking of how to please his woman?"

If she complains after that statement, come and report her to me and I give you permission to chase NL girls wink

(No, I won't give you permission sha, everyone on this site is crazy, myself included).

PS: my mum and dad had that same issue almost 40 years ago, over cooking pots. After their talk, she stated going "you paid N20,000 for this meat (which I know is actually N8,000 but I won't mention it)?!! Woooowwww kiss!!!"

Hey guys

So I added Shea butter to my facial skincare routine, as a sealant (after serum, toner and moisturizer) and only at night. I used to have oily skin but now it's matured, drier skin. I'll be using an SPF during the day so hopefully I won't tan (as shea butter is a butter, a solid oil which is why you get darker, it helps the sun darken your skin, white people use oils to tan).

So let's see how this works out.

Please note before, before I always get early morning erection strong and hard, but when it comes to my wife, my body system will just collapse instantly.
No, I'm not going to ask you to go and check if it works elsewhere angry

What I will ask is, how's your health these days? Morning wood is a sign that most parts of the body are working. So if you're losing that, better go see a Dr.

Now, for your wife, let's look up some intimacy. What have you been doing to rebuild that?

Thank you so very much for this advice. Seriously I have never been touched by words of advice like this. I'm amazed! Before now I have been thinking of seeing a therapist or something. I will do exactly as you have said. Thank you!
Submission is easy when you know the man you're submitting to loves you and has your best interest at heart. And it's hard to submit and it's hard to love another like Christ loved the church.

But God is a God of love and romance smiley, he even made our bodies to enjoy pleasure. So you need Him to help you

PS: today, go and buy her lunch or dinner (fried rice and turkey, with salad and dodo smiley), get a scrap of paper and write "Songs of Solomon 1:15", put it on the food. Drop it beside her, don't say anything.

Another day, when she's done bathing and is dressing up, creaming her body, make sure you're in the room always. But act like you're not looking. Then send her Songs Of Solomon 7:1-9 after she's done dressing. So she knows you were admiring her nekkidness to the point that you needed to go and read Bible grin

You'll be messing with her small small, wink working on yourself, showing her you're a better man now, who's completely in love with her.

It'll work. smiley

You want her to remember the smile in her heart again.

AfahaAbia:
Mine is the other way round. I use to be abusive to her, slap her sometimes which I'm not proud of. This led to our separation although she came back she finds it hard for intimacy stating the trauma is her problem
There's a book I'll recommend and please take reading it VERY seriously:

Stormie Omartian "Power Of A Praying Husband".

Read it, Pray every single prayer at the end of each chapter. Open your Bible and start studying Scripture on Forgiveness and Love. The Bible is a book about Love. Ask God to show you your wife's heart the way He sees it. She's shut down emotionally from you.

Then you need to work on your anger and need to resort to violence. Love means submission and Apostle Paul tells us to submit to each other. So you need to find out who you are in Christ Jesus (because change is very hard and we don't want you resorting to violence ever again).

I'm glad you regret it, next step is repentance.

When you get home, phone should be on silent or vibrate, you sit with your woman and do whatever she's doing. Gist with her. If she says she wants to eat grilled fish, don't buy it and bring home, tell her to go make herself pretty because you want to take her out.

Treat her like a fresh new bride, because your old marriage NEEDS to die. It wasn't a good one.

When you feel the anger and impatience rising (violence is the last resort of a weak man), you walk away and turn to prayer. Then come back calmly. She needs to give you Respect, not Fear. A lot of men think they're the same, they're not: Respect is rooted in Love, Fear thrives in Hate. And Fear means she will be waiting for the right time to strike you back, one day. So make her love and respect you, slapping her around breeds her fear.

Tell yourself "she is mine, my church and I will love her like Christ loved the church". That means when she's getting on your last nerve, you tell yourself and her "I love you, I'm not going to let the devil use me to destroy my blessing. You're my blessing!". Keep saying it till you believe it.

It will take time and patience, which is good training for you to learn how not to resort to quick anger and violence.

The intimacy will come back. Better than before sef, you won't have time for us on Nairaland smiley

Brother, you're going to make your wife fall in love with you again. Doable and possible, the love will even be sweeter. Commit it to God and come back with your testimony.

PS: today, go and buy her lunch or dinner (fried rice and turkey, with salad and dodo smiley), get a scrap of paper and write "Songs of Solomon 1:15", put it on the food. Drop it beside her, don't say anything.

All of you are happy. I refused to read anything about this valuejet and K1 issues because I know K1 being a YORUBA would be at the receiving end. This is the first time ever I will check any thread on Valuejet and K1 saga on both print and electronic media.

Few years ago, Professor Wole SOYINKA was at the receiving end on a Flight just because he sat beside the Window interchanging his seat with the young man besides him and the young man rudely refused to leave the seat despite the Pilots and passengers appeal. Nairaland, as usual was full of insults against Professor Wole SOYINKA for several days across many threads. So, being a YORUBA, I know Otunba Wasiu K1 will be at the receiving end.

I know why it is always like that. Baba Ayo Adebanjo and Dr Doyin Okupe never knew there is a problem on the ground and created
a greater problem and died with the problem.

Time would tell. What transpired in the plane is known to the Supreme God and the IJEBU gods. Late AWUJALE and other IJEBU Ancestors and gods would fight if OLORI OMOBA AKILE of IJEBU LAND is cheated. AGEMO would fight. The Land, Sea and Air will fight.

My advice is that for now, IJEBU indigenes both in LAGOS and OGUN States should avoid Valuejet planes until the issue is resolved.
The owner of Valuejet is Kunle Soname, indigene of Ijebu Remo, Ogun state.

So I guess your gods and ancestors are going to have to go home and fight their son grin

With the way she moved the plane the anger was very obvious.
There's nothing in that video that shows she moved in anger. I can drag Airbus engineers, Maintenance engineers and even a pilot here and they'll say the same thing. I won't, because we're all busy.

If she radioed ATC and they cleared her for take-off, she's done nothing wrong. The people that should be held accountable is AVSEC staff, who were scared of Big Man-ism and didn't arrest an unruly passenger and cart him off the tarmac. Their boss should be fired for that. I've been saying it from the very first video I saw, they left Kwam 1 on the tarmac once the plane doors were shut and crew had readied the plane for take-off (they won't open it again and let him get on board, as their job is to radio ground and tell them Kwam 1 is no longer on the passenger manifest as boarded). Their job ended once he was kicked off the plane.

AVSEC should have radioed ATC and told them "the baba is refusing to move o" or "we have not cleared the tarmac" and then ATC will radio the cockpit to sit tight.

Have a good morning.

Plane isn't a car you can't rev it up. Stop misleading people you don't know anything about planes.
You better read to educate yourself.
I know quite a bit more about plane designs and flying. Though my knowledge is on Airbus and Boeing, than smaller Embraer jets.

Increasing power is standard for take-off. The context for the person I was replying was wrong (he was implying she revved off in anger).

In car terms (I'm using car terms for easier understanding please), plane is on but in parked mode when passengers board, the pilot radios ATC for clearance, ground crew signal and plane taxies in gear 1(drive if it's automatic car). Then during take-off, they put the plane in gear 2. Smaller planes need shorter runway and less speed than bigger planes but it will feel like they're moving faster than bigger planes.

She didn't do any job! She didn't act professionally. Yes what Wasiu did was totally wrong but the pilot ought to have cancelled the flight and de board everybody while the plane will be inspected. Imagine him resting on the pitote tube one of the most sensitive parts of an aircraft that measures speed. If something had happened to that tube the plane would have crashed. In addition she was obviously angry with the way she rev the plane as if she was on the runway taking off, angry pilots are not allowed to fly a plane.
This particular pilot flew me almost 2 weeks ago, same plane, same leg, night flight. And that's exactly how it sounded then. The engine seemed to sound louder than the regular 737s I'm used to, even the take-off speed felt faster (I'm used to bigger planes). Smaller planes need less of everything.

She walked through the plane to get something and then headed back to the cockpit, about 30mins before we landed.

And yeah, it was a pretty good flight, good takeoff and a good landing (she knew her onions). Very little turbulence.

Plane isn't a car, you can't revve it up. Pilots are trained to keep calm in any situation so she wasn't using vex to take off, okay.

If Kwam 1 is so rich he should do what other rich people do and hire a private jet. It costs only a N1mil or N2mil. Then he can act as he feels like. Jay Z owns his own private jet.

All the women calling him "baby" are actually addressing his wallet fondly. They're kissing and caressing his bank accounts, not him. If the wallet falls to the ground and he has a heart attack and falls into a deep gutter, the women will save the wallet, dust it, kiss it and pet it whilst asking the wallet: "are you okay, are you hurting, pls be okay baby kiss".

midlife crisis dey wire the guy. smalley wey wan rip am dey wind the man and he dey swallow am
They seriously need to be having annual lectures about Mid-life crisis to men. It's so ridiculous. And the shame and guilt they feel internally once it has passed and they're looking at the destruction and havoc they've wrecked but are unable to admit to because of pride... undecided

Feel sorry for the Captain and Co-Pilot. Because they should have been in communication with ATC to confirm they were clear for taxi-ing.

And AVSEC should have dragged Kwam 1 off that tarmac, if he was resisting moving out of the way. That's their job, even if it is Atiku, Obi or Shettima, whoever should be escorted or dragged off once they've been deplaned.

Kwam 1 should have been on the No-Fly list the minute he poured a liquid on the crew.

Valuejet is a very good airline, amongst one of the pricier domestic airlines. I sincerely hope the pilots get a short suspension and some training. They should leave this sort of agbero behavior to the kabu-kabu of domestic airlines: Air Peace angry

Omg! We are at the opposite end. I have four and I now realized I spent almost all my life raising kids with few time spent on myself. In retrospect, I would be better with just one plus, I have an itch to travel the world and learn new languages. I want ro live six months in every country of the world and just experience things out of this world. I can't because I have teenagers to raise. Hehehehe

Whatever you want now is the real you and borne out of a careful self scrutiny. It means you understand yourself better now than before.
I like visiting new places but I'm a very nervous flyer so I don't know how to make that work. I do feel I would be very happy moving to Asia to live there, however when I was in my 20's I felt nothing would make me happier than living in Europe. So who knows what will happen in 2 decades, maybe I'll finally fall in love with the Americas.

It's why I don't trust my choices that change with Time. So I look out for what remains constant in my life.

I'd rather ask myself "what was it that I loved about Europe and now Asia and how can I find it?", then make a choice.

@DIVINEEVIDENCE

Bros, all I'll say is:

There's no such thing as "Peace of Mind from Another Person".

Mother didn't give me peace of mind, none of my kids are giving me peace of mind. Why would I expect my spouse to give me peace of mind?

When that peace comes from the Lord and Him alone.

And dead that talk about marrying a younger woman for "controllability and peace of mind*. Again, move to Festac, Ago Palace Way and Amuwo Odofin areas of Lagos state and go drinking at beer parlours and listen to men who made that choice.

Honestly, I don't get men. Y'all see millions of men make decisions that don't work out well in the long run yet keep parroting and repeating that same advice, hoping that your case will be different. (Deep negro sigh)

I see what you mean and I do appreciate your input. I wouldn’t do a second marriage and would just have one child. I realized I didn't believe in marriage and the Chinese lady was desperate to have a child for me. I will only have friends with benefits situation and would never re -marry after the first.
I have in-laws and relatives who have one child and one who has chosen to be childless. Everyone finds out what the Lord wants for them. I always wanted 4 children but didn't believe in Marriage. Now I do.

what if the 35 year old is a virgin and is truly down with you?
Forget Virginity.

Seriously, I need men to FORGET THIS WHOLE CONCEPT OF VIRGINITY AS A YARDSTICK FOR JUDGING CHARACTER.

I'm a Christian, I believe in Sex.ual purity.

But I've seen far too many women lie, eyes wide, shining with manipulation, about being virgins, to ever use it as a yardstick. They'll bring out bible and be crying and praying daily, writing on their Facebook pages about being godly women...whilst moving in and living with a man (sometimes he'll be married) for a whole year. Nobody will know about their whereabouts. When that relationship doesn't work out, they come back outside, continue being "virgins" and "godly women" to another unsuspecting man.

That's like doing a business deal with a man who swears he's a Pastor and would never cheat you, so no need for caution, just give him a loan of N2million with no guarantors.

In this Nigeria, that term is a Manipulation Technique.

Tell any woman who tells you she's a virgin that that's between her and the Lord, we are all to work out our own salvation. Watch how once she realizes that manipulation doesn't work on you, she'll reach for another tactic.

PS: for a weird reason, all the girls I knew who claimed virgin and holy, always moved in with a man they were determined to marry. And they're all from the same tribe. Apparently it's a tactic they've seen work a lot. Go to Festac, Amuwo Odofin and Ago Palace way, a lot of suffering husbands will have stories to tell.

You know yourself more and the world around you the more uou grow, interact with others and ha e real world experience. In my late 30s, I later met women that matched 100% with my personality, goal and I would have been more happier with them. One was Chinese from Taiwan and the other was white but I was already in a marraige.
I won't invalidate your experiences. I too, believe that I would have been happier with my ex from 20 years ago (I was certainly more committed to making things work with him, till I messed up cry).

But that's the thing about Life: nobody knows how the road and the journey will be till they are more than halfway through it.

So whilst I feel I would have been happier, the truth may be different.

I have far too many male relatives who took 2nd wives, or got a divorce and remarried their specs (some UpTo 4 times).

30 years down the line, almost none of them will ever let their own sons make that same choice that they made. One of them, when he heard I was thinking of divorce, called me and warned me not to do it. He's been remarried for 34 yrs.

If men who have walked down the path I was thinking of, were telling me to turn back, telling their sons not to repeat their mistakes, then maybe, just maybe, whatever they saw on their journey made them realise that the road they took wasn't worth it.

Heck, even abroad, statistically 2nd marriages fail more but most people on Divorce forums would rather not be honest and tell you that, they'll swear they've never been happier.

Which seems to track biblically too.

So you may have been happier with a foreign lady, I used to be attracted to white guys too. But again, I have no idea what would have happened. I'm pretty sure every couple in divorce court once thought they had married someone who matched them and suited them perfectly.

Judging from the video, there's no evidence he obstructed the flight. Let's say he did, the authorities should've informed the security agents to escort him out of the run way and then take appropriate action on him.

But from the video, the pilots are to be blamed here because they could've killed the people on ground
Not true please, planes are actually somewhat high off the ground. So the pilot can't see things close by, they can only see in the distance. And rely on Air Traffic Controllers (the tower) and ground crew to make sure they can taxi to the runway safely.

AVSEC and Kwam 1 are to blame for this. They ought to have dragged him off the tarmac back to the terminal once he was deplaned.

And that's something I noticed about domestic flights vee recently: you can saunter on and off the tarmac and even ground vehicles fit clear you. They have jet bridges but the airport staff won't put them to use.

Honestly I'm not sure how the designs of the domestic wing of the terminals work. Everyone disembarks on the tarmac and whilst there are buses to ferry people, some people can decide to walk to the terminal, which is a hazard.
