InfoNow: These are not the best of times for famous billionaire and chairman of Doyin Group of Companies, Prince Samuel Adedoyin, as one of his grandsons, Subomi Olabayo, on Tuesday, committed suicide.
The 28-year-old Subomi is the son of Lola Olabayo, a daughter of Prince Adedoyin and Managing Director of Royals Fast Food, Ilorin.
According to First Weekly, the body of Subomi was reportedly discovered around 5pm in the backyard of their Ilorin residence, while he was said to have left the house around 11am.
Sources close to the family revealed that Subomi had been depressed for sometime and ...
Depression is not fully understood in Nigeria. Mental illness is not fully understood in Nigeria. They will be taking people for prayer etc, saying that its somebody doing it.
Even a lot of our so called leaders are mentally unbalanced and will be sectioned and locked up in a saner country
Amuluonyenaego: These guys are really cashing out in this football thing.
When you organise your country, organise your system and organise your government based on reality where everyone has a say and everyone is included, where economic and financial considerations are paramount, people and organisations within that country will cash out big time. They don't need to have political relevance or government connections. The opportunities are there for anyone with entrepreneurial abilities, creative acumen and willing to work hard.
When you organise your country based on stone age religious and ethnic sentiments, then you have a shit hole with fantastic poverty, fantastic crime, fantastic insecurity, fantastic corruption, fantastic insanity and fantastic of everything negative under the sun. Here you need to be politically relevant and connected to government to prosper.
Source: https://dailypost.ng/2021/06/23/nnpc-efcc-dss-others-go-after-oil-thieves-smugglers/[/quote]I know for a FACT that the big crude oil smugglers work with the military (Army/Navy) to conduct their business. This is a largely untouchable and very deadly cartel. They once got a GOC in Warri relocated because he was not cooperating well.
Therefore all this noise is audio. They will probably go after some inconsequential small fry and use them as example.
Infolenka: This is the kind of female body most Nigerian guys want.
I've been carrying out a long term research on Nairaland for over a year. I've posted different pictures of different types of women and read multiple responses from different men. I've come to realize that on the average there is a type of female body majority of men want and I scoured Instagram and found a girl that fits this description.
The key word that suits this girl is Moderate, but on the plus side of moderate
Ass is big but not too big Boobs is big but not too big. She's has curves but they aren't too much She's average height No fat arms Thighs are thick but not too thick Flat tummy.
Body wey go scatter after one or two children? By then there will be no much difference between her and the women with what you might consider to be not hot body wise. Everyone will be reset to grassroots after children.
I'm actually quite baffled as to why afrobeats had not been able to penetrate popular charts worldwide? When it was the time for Jamaican dance hall music, they where regularly in the top ten charts from uk to Europe to North America and Australia. With people like Shaggy, Sean Paul, elephant man, Wayne wonder etc. They were competing directly with rap/hip hop and not being given their own special "world" or "African" category for token awards.
It's very puzzling. Especially now that charts are compiled from streams and downloads.
Without size, Nigeria is nothing. Absolutely nothing. Even the success of our musicians in Africa is based on the clout and hyping by our massive population home and abroad. Our standing in Africa is based on size.
The significance of crude oil in world finance is alarmingly dwindling. North America has more than enough crude oil from shale. Western countries are seriously pursuing renewable green energy and in Australia a whole region (Tasmania) has 100% renewable electricity. The UK has outlawed petrol and diesel cars from 2030.
Crude oil will be just like coal in about 20 or 30 years and our leaders have no viable plans for its replacement. We are still borrowing and investing billions in an apparently failing business, soon to go extint? Just because certain leaders and their business associates will make billions from contracts and kickbacks?
So you can see, our size is everything. Without size, nothing remain again. That's why they'll fight to the death to keep that size. Biafran and Oduduwa movement does not have FULL backing from their indigenous population, neither are they working together to create a viable force.
FG is now busy showing force in the North and bombing bandits and ISWAP locations. What do you think will happen after they have ticked the box to say that they have spoken "strong military language" in the North? They will move down south and bomb SE after which Oduduwa agitators will just keep quiet
Indomixx: Hello guys I've noticed over time that I'm a huge fan of graphic images. Anytime I see a post on nairaland where "graphic image" is, I rush to view it so I can see the graphic images. Those bandit stories where people are killed, bomb blasts involving dead victims actually thrill me, even accident scenes where people died . I don't know if something is wrong or I'm possesed. I need help, I don't think it's normal.
You need to join Buhari's team then. You wouldn't be out of place there.
BigSarah: Probably his main message is he won’t cede power.... I’m sure majority of Nigerians would be happy with that since it means more Trains!!! That’s all that matters trains.
Starzo: shut the fvck up...I guess men of God are the reason the country is in such terrible state and why your life is the way it is. Your hatred will consume you
I just stated a fact here. I did not insult or name call.
Simple fact.
In fact, those insecure women are even giving the pastors the pvssy for free sef. Throwing their whorish selves at them. Pastor go just chop obonge sumtin clean mouth
In a chat with ABN TV, he highlighted that almost at the states in the South East, including Bayelsa state have airports, saying Abia is nowhere near it equals in infrastructure.
Actress, Uche Elendu and Blessing Okoro made comments on his post. See below.
1000% correct!
Women can be very unnecessarily insecure and competitive sometimes, especially amongst themselves. It's this flaw that some men (including men of God, spiritualists and herbalist) exploit to sleep with women that are supposed to be intelligent, God fearing or financially/socially secure.
sinkhole: This is the reason why some people will always stay away from helping other! Which will you prefer: 1) the woman striped and run naked on the street 2) the woman striped and a good Samaritan (man or woman) quickly looked for cloth, pinned her down and forcefully put a cloth on her. Please, which will you prefer?
Please cover the woman and guard her till help comes. Which one is "pin her down and forcefully put cloth on her"? Can't you even see how that sounds?
