I will say,self determination is the best option for him now.
Try to know his friends, ASUU is no strike now. Take to him about his dreams,how he plan to achieve them. Make him feel comfortable around you to get the best information from him that's if you are a guy.
Or pay someone mature who bet too,so they can work a go story on how to manage betting. I believe with this steps it will reduce the heavy booking and focus more on reality result.

Or are they meant to be laminated and kept in the library?
What I'm saying is, attendant sheet are use as accessment and in some case use as test score.
This is a prove a student attended you lectures. Why make it look useless.
Institution should make student effort seen,even if after school na connect you need to get work.
