Messi has the chance to go elsewhere to cement his legacy by winning major trophies with another club, before the sunsets finally on his illustrious career. At age 32, he is close to retirement both for his form as a player at the highest levels, and retirement from the game of football altogether. Any error now and he has a nagging injury his form might be lost forever. So this is the perfect time for him to go. Human wants are insatiable. Really he is not leaving because of trophies, because as per club level, he has won it all. Sometimes we humans just want a new challenge, or fresh breeze elsewhere. When we are tired we are tired. Everyone can understand that. It is normal. And then it is good for Barcelona, because if they sell Messi now, they can raise the kind of money they need to build another formidable squad. Once in a while, one man Army like Pele, like Marco Van Basten, like Messi etc show in the sport, people who can single handedly win major trophies for their club and perform at the highest levels on a regular basis. But no matter what, football is a team sport and having a good team will always surpass individual brilliance or extraordinary ability. So if they sell Messi, they can get money to assemble an excellent squad that will push the club to greater heights. Messi alone can't do it all the time and this reality is showing because for some time now, Barca hasn't been focused on building a solid team. They have been putting all the load on Messi. If they wait too long, Messi will get too old and his value will be dropping the older he gets at this time, for major European clubs, except they want to sell him to China as a trophy player, which I doubt Messi wants to end his career in such a place or way. And the club buying him too, they can still gain from the huge money they spent to buy him now that his legs are still fresh, and not a waste when he gets too old mentally and in good form-cally and his legs are too tired to dribble again.

I don't know whether he paid contractors full or not, but I know Ambode started many critical projects but couldn't finish them cuz of the gluttonous powers dat b in Lagos State felt he took d food they chop from their mouth. And he actually did, he blocked many loopholes they were using to steal Lagos dry without a conscience. Ambode had a conscience and he was a Governor of the people, a Governor of the masses, not the political elites and they hanged him for it. Oshodi has become Lekki cuz of Ambode, Airport road has turned to Garki and Maitama, cuz of Ambode Ikeja to Sango don turn to Abuja airport expressway. it's just sad they didn't let him do a second term. And they frustrated his govt and sabotaged his efforts from within. From d agency heads to Civil servants, all because he no let them dey chop Lagos and Lagosians. Under Ambode, many agencies were Santized, like Lastma, VIO, teaching hospitals. Do anyhow and get sacked immediately, Ambode no dey waste time. But they sabotaged him, especially for road construction and dirt collection across Lagos, that was his error. He shouldn't have embarked in too many road projects at once. He should have started with the critical areas, finished those ones then continue like that, batch by batch.
