Everything about 2020 has been overshadowed by Covid-19. The business environment has been challenging, many businesses have fold up and employees sent home.

But it is not all gloomy, the government (like others all over the world), in her effort to revive the economy has rolled out several intervention funds to help households and businesses back on their feet as life gradually returns to normal. As at last count CBN has provided funding for;

AGSMEIS (out of which N50 billion was for households loans)

N200 billion housing loans for low income earners

N10 billion for the transport sector

N75 billion Youth loan

N100 billion Healthcare Sector Research and Development Fund

And by next week government will roll out N2.3 Trillion Economic Stimulus Plan(EPS). This is the big one, at least 35000 business per state have been targeted to benefit from this.

My advice is that every able bodied taxable business person who has been affected one way or the other by the pandemic should try to access these funds.

If you don't know how to go about it, ask questions. I understand the processes and if you retain my services, I can walk you through the process from application to approval and disbursement.

Be wise, do not join the naysayers that call everything they do not understand a scam. This year must end well.
