What took so long? |
These days with the level of dark information available plus craziness all over...@ even 5 years old they need to be introduced to sex education if not society will and there are usually consequences when society does that... Today a child of 7 years old already debates about sexual orientation because of some cartoons they watch... Ol boy this generation of kids aren't smiling one bit. I am very sure that many of us in their 30's, At 11 years old, didn't know what the word gay meant, but ask a 6 year old child today especially in the west what gay means and perhaps you'd have an idea that the society of today is indeed something. |

kings38:This post struck a chord, so I just had to reply... I had a colleague way back, who brought his wife to Holland straight out the village (complicated Family arrangement). Very cute, industrious and respectful lady, however... aside the fact that then, she could only speak a very raw form of pidgin English and her native language, she was also not exposed, did not know a lot of things which was evident whenever they went to social places like church etc. The thing is, her Husband (despite the stark contrast in their upbringing and qualifications-Her Husband was British born and a PhD holder) was very supportive to her and never bullied her or disregarded her naivety in any way, of course there were the occasional laughs when she would do some funny village stuff (like eating snow during her first snowfall experience) but it was all in good humour. I can attest to the fact that this man grew to love his "village wife" the way she was, and sure enough something remarkably distinct happened upon time... When they started having children and later moved to Germany, Her spoken English didn't drastically improve (though it did-as she understood and read better) However she became very fluent in Dutch and German which she now speaks effortlessly with the children, funny enough her husband struggles with German being a native English speaker, the children speak mostly English with him but when they speak to their mother, it's a completely different vibe, they chatter in Dutch switch to German back and forth... like it's sooo cool to listen to them chatter away. The unique thing is she speaks German with a solid Bavarian accent, and how she learnt that is a mystery till today, because she stayed home as a housewife for the most part. Today, my colleagues village wife that was the subject of jokes is now an inspiration, because she literally can do everything, she integrated well into the European setting and she works a decent job currently (before the covid19 restrictions, she was running an African restaurant/catering business)... guess who is the proud husband now? Just imagine if he gave up on her and dumped her like many advised him to? Change is a constant factor, it's up to us to make it positive or Negative. |

@OP, you are an excellent writer! |
WriterX:Bros compare Haaland and Lewandowski's chance conversion rates minus penalties, then you'll see who is the efficient Football these days are down to stats, we don't argue. |
JidennaJason:Bro, it's obvious you have not watched Haaland play, if you are comparing him to a static player like Giroud, like are you serious... How can you compare both Haaland is literally a monster remix version of Ruud Van Nistelrooy, and the scary thing about Haaland is that he is quite a big lad so he literally terrorizes defenders physically, asides his searing pace(Haaland is incredibly fast I.e one of the top 5 fastest footballers Currently), to make matters worse Haaland is a poacher striker(like Van Nistelrooy)but with incredible speed and ruthlessness. I keep saying it that these days, we use data in analysing football, and current data shows if Haaland kicks 7 shots at goal 6 are going in (his conversion rate is all sorts of insane! check it up).... that's how freakishly deadly that guy is in front of goal. https://www.bundesliga.com/en/bundesliga/news/top-5-players-chance-conversion-rate-haaland-sancho-schick-embolo-stindl-10679 Basically at this rate, Haaland will Surpass Lewandoski by a long shot if he keeps this run up next season. Why do you think they put such a price tag on his head?? |
No doubt he is in form, but Tactically I rate Oshimen the better striker |
Olawamiwale06:You are welcome |
Olawamiwale06:I have not personally done that, but people I know who did it mentioned that you take any of the bus shuttles that go from Nigeria to Accra then from the park in Accra you take another bus to Abidjan... but also find out if there are any direct Abidjan shuttle services from Nigeria. It should not be that pricey as well. |
Remains Nigeria's sharpest striker... Very pacy, plays off defenders shoulders very well, interpretes space properly, very good on 1 v 1 situations and funny enough is still a target forward... |
GOOOGLE504:It's Tomori's case that's the most painful one because that lad is good, the Nigerian team lacks versatile defenders. At least Tammy's case can be consoled with an in form Victor Oshimen, the team also has a lot of attacking players who are currently in sizzling hot form. |
moonbender:I am just pointing out that you should be careful... |
moonbender:You have got to be kidding me... 3 variables in this story 1- 2019 Application answered in 2021 2- Rejected 2019 application decision overturned in 2021 3- an Alien residing in another country hired in UK police force ?? ?? ?? By all means this doesn't make sense on various levels Maybe they are messing with you...perhaps some clever detective feels he is onto a "Nigerian" scammer, so he's trying to reel in the "scammer" with bait on a hook. |
Inspiration007:Victor Oshimen is Nigeria's sharpest striker at the moment, and the coach was not wrong to start him... I watched the match and except for the fact that Benin had a very good keeper Oshimen should have scored two. I guess there are good days and there are bad days. Paul Onuachu does not fit a tactic of speedy counter attacking football and that's Rohr's tactic now (he plays a tactical 5-2-3 formation that requires very mobile frontmen), the whole offence of Nigeria move very sharply which makes Oshimen a perfect striker, because that lad is as sharp as a tack. When Onuachu comes on, he's the target man -he requires midfielders who have vision and send him homing passes and that slows the game down but gives him advantage, however speedy midfielders/wingers like Chukwueze, and Sanusi become inefficient because Onuachu is not that kind of striker, more importantly at Genk Onuachu plays with support strikers on 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 and this changes the coaching plan, I believe every coach has a plan/system that should not be distorted because of a player's preference. What was played yesterday was perfect, Rohr is alright to me... he just needs more time with those boys. Congrats to the boys. |
MufasaLion:Boss I was being sarcastic... I have said this thing countless times that Europe has very strict immigration rules but whenever I try to point these things out, most folks usually think I am trying to discourage raw progress. So allow him, hopefully he will tell us how it went. |
Nodeydopass:Guy leave her alone... if she isn't your cup of coffee then move on. Don't be that complacent in real life issues. Very soon you'd complain here again if you force it... perhaps she is not single. |
DuBLINGreenb:You just said my mind... I won't be surprised if half of the team get unfit tomorrow |
