maynia:I have a question for you... who sold the slaves to the European settlers to take to the new world i.e America? |
maynia:Did he physically come down to kill the kids... I guess he probably floated down from the sky and strangled them to death or perhaps he shot them with divine lasers or heat rays?? The prophet killed the kids because he was human... period |
maynia:What was he supposed to do, hurl down lightning bolts and send flying horses to the slaves... the slaves that were sold off by their own people? Let's talk about the greed of mankind another day... for now I am talking history. |
Beehshorp:The way Saudi Arabia was built on Islam and cannot be separated from it, is the way America was built on Christianity, unfortunately that fact is trying to be erased by political correctness... It's a simple truth, which one be religion on top matter again? |
iwaeda:Then you must be very Naive... |

Getsaved:I will be honest with you, if you meet any agent that tells you he/she would "work out a Canadian work permit for you for a price" please walk away... The way Canadian immigration programs are designed, at some point you will need to do something yourself, (An Agent will not write IELTS or TEF exam for you, you need to do it yourself) and achieving an 8Band overall IELTS score is something awesome that only you can do for yourself. So please figure out how you can do it yourself for the most part... What they don't emphasise enough for this Canadian Express Entry/PNP et al, is Canada is looking for a specific set of skills, not just your job experience (basically they know what they want)... 1- The system lays emphasis on young people (above 30 years, you lose points) 2- Language adaptability (simply score 8 and above in the IELTS and you gain precious points) 3- Educational skills (Msc and above from accredited universities gives you extra points) 4- LMIA -Get a Canadian job offer and you get monster points If you know your profile doesn't match or can't relate to nos1-4, then please don't bother doing it, forget agent abi secret agent ni, or find another decent country to migrate to, it must not be Canada. Don't let any agent take advantage of your desperation and hussle up wahala for you (and you pay for it). |
Dantedasz:What stopped Enyeama from getting into big clubs was actually his height... coaches were not convinced but that guy was one of the best in the world no cap |
AwesomeStormy00: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=biKYYW7lYxY Please rate this Enyeama in this game... dude frustrated Messi hands down |
I remember a certain worldcup when Enyeama stopped a certain Argentina from scoring 8 straight goals ... that dude was using some serious sorcery in that match |
tplayer:Yeah because he is strong, he wins aerial duels easily, contrary to his size, he is very fast so he is really good at open play, and lastly he is a good finisher... He fits inters style of play Currently. However Lukaku is not a target man, he simply lacks that first touch to be a classic target man and that's where strikers like even Olivier Giroud or Morata are better than Lukaku, they are classic target forwards with very good first touch and capable of holding play and creating linkup(why do you think coaches love playing Giroud despite the fact he is slower than a slug?... because his first touch is 100%) If Man City wants to bring Lukaku to be a target forward holdup play and linkup with Sterling ... they will be surely disappointed |
Angelfrost:You know very well Lukaku is not a player with that "world class first touch" ... He is a very good striker but that hold up play, and creative forward tag is not his thing, let them not expect him to replace Sergio Aguero overnight |
Why bother? I thought the government said youths are better off learning a trade? The Nigerian government strongly discourages university education so what sort of question is this? Abeg they should open trade centres sef ... |
feedthenation:I loved the documentary, thanks for sharing |
segun18:Iginla was also specific(about the certain governor 17), then again his 23 Prophesy about Uganda came to pass yesterday... anyway I am just watching |
79733139:You are right it's not only about the genes, however talent (enhanced physicality) plays a very crucial role in sports. For instance, in Korea, Japan and China, training academies for athletes are taken very seriously (trust them Asians when they want to train), The hi tech equipment obtainable in those academies outclass what you would typically find in Jamaica or the Bahamas but in the end, who constantly pours out the talent for both genders? This was actually a research question... |

ednut1:It's a case of settling for Oats because there's no refined flour to bake bread... In the long run, the overall standard would be reduced significantly. The effects of Brain drain is seen after a long while... Lemme give you an example, most of the best specimens of physicality and athletism were identified, selected and shipped out for slavetrade hundreds of years ago cutting out that genepool from Africa. In the Olympics today which countries dominate physically explosive sports- Athletics for example 100 Meters 200 and 400Meters? African/black Ancestry right? Now trace the origins of those Athletes... then ask yourself how come original west Africans (for example Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast etc) are nowhere to be found in that sport? Simple, because the best Physical Genes were selectively picked out.... Apart from the technicalities of the sport which can be taughtby good academies, raw physical talent is important because it can't be taught. Thats how brain drain works, in the long run the effects will be evident. |
ecolime:Apparently, "Prediction 23" has just come to pass... check the news |
Only the best of Nigerians are absorbed into the express entry pool. I.e "The young bright ones". Only intelligent Nigerians are given admissions into Canadian universities. "The innovative and brilliant ones" As for visit visa's and Canadian TRV's, most people know Canada doesn't give it to every regular Nigerian Joe, and of course seeking Asylum in Canada or converting a visit visa is almost impossible. So if Nigerians are moving there en masse, then you can be very sure that the best are moving en masse... there's no cap on taking the best of the best. Actually Nigeria should feel bad that slowly and steadily, the best are drifting out ... |
TheChameleon:Its a small Island, so in every city in TRNC, there's that pattern where every one knows everyone... So with the prejudice on black people that is present, if word gets around that "one black man is eying one of the local women" you may be jealously hunted down by the local men. |
Yup... Elon Musk the modern day Nostradamus |
Our darling president ❤ He is the most Qualified President like eveeeeeerrr... All Nigerians are soooooooo in love with Buhari... |
PenName55:I was going there for a vacation, so I didn't need to know anyone but my hotel reservation. Secondly If you have certain visas/residency permits or citizenship you would be eligible for an Evisa or you wouldn't need a visa for visiting the Bahamas (which is my case). Please go through their consular services and foreign affairs website; https://mofa.gov.bs/evisa-online-services/ Thirdly the last time I checked they have no consular representation in Africa(they have a presence in the Gambia, but its mainly for trade relations not consular affairs), but I know they have consular representation in Brussels and the UK. As for flights, there are no direct flights to the Bahamas from Nigeria so transit visas would be required. Most Caribbean zones do not have direct flights from Nigeria so transit visas are very important. Hope it helps |
PenName55:Had planned to visit Nassau last year, but thanks to Covid it wasn't possible. The Bahamas is truly an incredible paradise. |
Steveraw:If it took her 19/20 years to aquire citizenship from Canada since the 2000's... then it speaks alot already. She may not have the right social standing to file in for her sons who are already grownups. As much as there is the general hype for Canada these days, Canada is not an "anyhow" country, in otherwords "if you pay peanuts, you'll get monkeys". What if she declared earlier that she had no children during some earlier refugee paper work in the phase when she was desperate for asylum, do you fink all of a sudden if she brandished grown up men from the blues calling them her sons, it would sink in well.... the system has a way of tracing these things. (Many people have been hit by this reality and families were broken unfortunately). The best she can do is support the boys financially to perhaps pursue college education in Canada from Nigeria. But let's call a spade a spade, she must have lied during the asylum process and it has probably caught up, that's why she's literally helpless in bringing her sons over. Otherwise she could have done it since. |
Awww ... Buhari is really a hardworking, diligent and intelligent president, he is the best president in Africa. He deserves a third term. So incredible in his ways of thinking, such a rapid thinker who is soooooo dynamic. A technocratic democrat... such a compassionate man indeed, however his raw intelligence steals the show ... exceptional. #OurDarlingDaddy |
This is where the power of the collective youth will be seen... in the case new technologies are introduced... The death of ancient politics and political parties as we know it |
To me, they are all the same... All Scandinavian countries have that distinct similar rhythm... Though Sweden gives the most when it comes to multicultural flavour, however they are all similar. How you may ask, I'll break it down in keywords... "Democracy, freedom, parlamentary system, separation of power, welfare state, basic agreement, high taxes, constitutional monarchy, eguality, scandinavian language, human rights, common history and politics, religious freedom, peace, safety, bureaucracy, happiness, wealth per capita, open economy to Europe, EU directives, winter with snowfall/rain, high alcohol consumption, northern agriculture and nature, temperate climate, coastline, jokes about “the Dane, the Swede and the Norwegian”, English as secondary language, the letters æ/ä, ø/ö, å/aa, many soccerplayers, Nordic Council, identity, culture, crowns as currency, many churches, lutherian-evangalism and secularism, Europeans, Nordic, Scandinavians" Quora extract |
foster33:Madagascar .... by road?? ?? ?? Bro, you cannot get to Madagascar by road, because it's detached from mainland Africa. |
