mindgamers:Unfortunately you can't do the Canadian thing, reasons why; 1. Your age is beyond the prime productive years (as deemed by the CIC list) 2. You have no academic skills that can fetch you points 3. Your spouse too has none You can't even go through the study route... So it's a very thin line. The only migration options for you and your whole family ( if you can cope with language) are Mexico and Brazil. |
Looool this brought back hilarious memories... ![]() When I was a teenager(about 16) on one particular US visa interview, the consular officer interviewing me was soooo darn cuuute, her eyes were like hypnotic stones , her voice was like running water and mheeeeeeeen did that chic have massive jugs (I don't even know why the US embassy kept that lady there that day) ... I basically forgot why I came for the interview and started staring at her jugs sheepishly... Anyway I got a boner from all the simulations my mind was running and as soon as I realised my rocket had lifted off, I started trying my best to conceal it from people around me, since I was standing in front of the consular window situated like in the middle of the salon, I literally was acting soooo fidgety, anxious, totally weird and the whole thing got awkward for me that I couldn't even answer her simple questions, I was making incoherent statements, stammering unnecessarily... heck! I forgot my own name... long story short, I was denied by the same woman I was crushing on... it was when I came out of the embassy that I realised what happened, gosh I felt sooo dumb... I had neverfelt that dumb (till today it still turns me inside out) . Anyway I just told my family that I was denied... though I didn't include why ![]() I learnt a big lesson from that day ![]() P.S Las las Fear women o ![]() |
whogatti:Thanks for the info bro |
CBN on the verge of making the Naira crash even further... I wonder when they will finally decide to wake up ![]() |
IWillRiseAgain:A predator may eat it. If you can keep it and care for it, thats not a bad idea to have pet birdie |
This is why understanding the context of a language is very important... That's not what the headline connoted in German... They are literally hailing her as "Big-Mama Nigeria" |
Incognito403:Beckham's strengths were his playmaking abilities, technique, passing ability, vision, and dead ball situations. He was not the modern winger like CR7 or Robben et al, he didn't need to dribble because he understood formations, all he needed to do was get the ball and make a pinpoint pass. I also thought he was overrated till I saw his game statistics in one game where England played against Argentina.. this dude had 100% for pass completion both long and short... basically he did not waste possession... now that's efficiency. Especially in those days of football using the classic 4-4-2 with a diamond midfield... football has really changed though, because then technical players were favoured over dribblers on the wings- Denilson of Brazil despite his insane dribbling always started from the Bench. Apart from Pirlo, Xavi and Iniesta which modern player has attempted such a feat(100% pass completion)? Beckham legit had the ability to make Ighalo look like Lewandowski... ask Peter Crouch. |
MufasaLion:I would not say they are useless, that's a huge No ... I would just say they are regional specific. The demand exists, however its for homegrown talent. Who do you think runs the affairs of government in many countries, the scientists? Exactly... that's the point. |
Bodyodour:Heres the problem with such courses; for instance, as a Nigerian, you are looking for a job in France but you studied Philosophy in English the dynamics have completely changed, why? Because studying a course like Philosophy in French is a different ball game entirely from studying it in English, concepts are altered, lingo and terminologies are different, perspectives are different due to political and cultural views etc if your degree was not obtained in a French speaking module, even if you speak French, it is still different. Such courses are regional specific, Philosophy in Japan also takes a very different twist, meaning you have to study Philosophy in Japanese to work in that feild in Japan. Your Nigerian Philosophy degree in most cases do not have the outlook for other countries. I mean just imagine what political science would look like in a country like China? Not to mention licences and memberships to local bodies that such courses require in order to practice. However when it comes to science, 1+1=2 and 2x2=4 anywhere in the world. Same goes for IT, this technical concept is pretty much the same worldwide Garbage in <=> Garbage out Except for SI units and metrics of measurements, language does not affect universal concepts that are practical. |
hybridblood07:Bros you never see something I currently speak 4 foreign languages asides English, however Japanese is one language that in the absence of a spiritual intervention, I don't think I can attempt it... infact the writing alone is a 19 year pregnancy. Some languages just make you appreciate the fact that you speak English. |
tensazangetsu20:You can say that again... its like the system was specifically designed for Americans and Canadians. |
Today is February 15th and Prophesy 30 has just happened, Ebola was found in Guinea. So I decided to carry out an evaluation of these prophesies monthly, just to see if they were accurate |
richestjozy:This is unbelievable |

whogatti:Bros nothing o... this thing is a real problem, as it stands now, money can't be sent to Nigeria from DK through these popular methods. |
One of my favourite female athletes... Congrats Blessing. |
osuofia2:Why does he have to... is he not the petroleum resources minister? He is in direct command of the petroleum portfolio, why can't he control corruption without tampering with revenue, or is he afraid of his superior? |
Something is about to happen |
This is why most of us who know, expressed concern during America's elections, because their political outlook indirectly affects the whole world... This is just the beginning. Nigeria as a major aid beneficiary, will soon start tap dancing to America's beats |
Penguin2:The sad truth... |
Kelvin3476:Please It's worth an honorable mention... since when you started playing video games apart from Rema(Fifa 20), which Nigerian artiste has a soundtrack on any official released video game? I am waiting... |
Honorable mention; First Nigerian artiste to feature on Grand Theft Auto PlayStation 4, "GTA The Cayo Perico heist" track "getting money" |
Skyfornia:Better ![]() |
thebosstrevor1:So what was I ringing out since my first post? Did you read properly... man, its enough. |
thebosstrevor1:. |
erico2k2:Denmark... with all these covid restrictions in place, looking for such is quite a hassle. |
thebosstrevor1:At first I was wondering who is this ![]() I just had to reply because you could be either Garba Shehu or Emiefele, operating under the illusion that the USD is the standard for transactions everywhere, all around the world, so USD transactions will be seamless globally. The answer is a clear no... I tried to send money just recently on multiple occasions to Nigeria and it was not possible because my bank cards rejected the transaction, I was informed I have to open an account that allows dollar transactions since Nigerian transactions only accept US Dollars or get a Mastercard from PayPal or any of these services, that support direct conversions. The issue is for money transfer services and payment to Nigeria, not all banks in Europe will support a USD payment, except you get a cash service credit card or a usd account. Which I never thought about having until now. So if you have to set a policy to streamline fx transfers, include Euros or GBP don't clip it on the USD alone, its actually causing lots of service inconveniences. If USD must be operated why don't Nigerian banks do the conversions to USD? |
Wiseandtrue:Yes it is somewhat true, especially for countries that do not use USD$ for debit or credit card transactions... For example Transferwise, PayPal(xoom), and I.money transfer, have all suspended transfers to Nigeria from Denmark, and for on-counter transfers, local payouts do not allow USD transactions except in euros, so it's a bit of a mess... Though if one really looks hard there may be a way, but for now ... it's not worth the hassle, if CBN likes they can block everything and allow kobo and shillings payments, strange set of people. If they wanted a free flow of FX in the economy, mainstream FX consist of GBP, USD, Euro, CNY, JPY, RSHR and CHF... why did they restrict it to only USD? #edited Even the Nigerian embassy in some European countries make life simply difficult by requesting consular payments to be made in USD, just imagine, Square pegs in round holes ? in countries where the official currency is the Euro... sometimes I just get fed up with the foreign exchange policies Nigeria pops up with sometimes. |
HeadShot:Google "Top 15 dribblers" in la liga 2020 season... then tell me if this 21 Yr old compared to the rest is overated. In a league that boasts of the likes of Messi, and Nebil Fekir... this kid comes in 14th place. Dribble frequency and success rate |
