Maybe sha... I feel much better now.
I know cuisine hygiene is an issue in Nigeria, but I really think you have a food allergy, go and find out what you are specifically allergic to... in the United states an allergy test would have been ran on you first and foremost, before any blame on food poisoning would be considered...
Many Nigerians are allergic to certain substances but due to ignorance, carelessness and the "African pikin na iron, we fit chop anything" mindset, many people endup either abusing drugs, blaming witches and wizards or claim they were poisoned just because they consumed something they have a severe allergy to and were affected.
A friend of mine for example is Lactose intolerant but he never knew until recently he had an allergy test... before then anytime he took anything with milk, depending on the quantity -Zaaaap he has to go, if he did'nt findout about his lactose situation he'd keep blaming poor kitchens anytime he consumed any product with milk and got a stomach upset.
Some of you may even have an allergy to maggi and you dont know...
Think about it

TravelRe: DEPORTED From The UK!! by optimusprime2(m):
My brother after carefully reading your post, I am sorry to say this, but "Your travel credentials have been screwed up" esp to Schengen Zones, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, basically countries which share info with UK embassies, lets put it this way, English Speaking countries.
You are now limited to Asia (except Japan and South Korea), Russia, Kazakstan, Turkmenistan(I doubt if Turkey will issue their Visa to you under such circumstances, because Turkey really considers Visa's and travel document remarks from OECD countries) and African countries.... oh yeah and the middle east (Except Israel) sorry man, you should have followed the rules.
A Visa Cancellelation is the highest screwup you can offer your passport.
Just run your things in Nigeria.

laroux:
Please my fellow nairalanders do any of you have any idea of schools in the US, Canada, UK or any school in Europe that accept second class lower for masters degree programmes in business administration. A friend of mine who is serving badly needs it.
Your question is rather vague... what do you mean by 2.2??
You wont tell the Uni that you had a 2.2 Diploma because they dont care, what they'd want to know is your CGPA on your transcript.
3.4 in Nigeria is 2.2 and so is 2.5, so what are you talking about? because if your friend had a 2.5 CGPA which is a 2.2, the best bet is to take GRE to stand a grad admission chance, because 2.5 is weak...

TravelRe: Becoming A Tourist Attraction Because You Are Black; Experiences Abroad? by optimusprime2(m): 2:16am On Nov 09, 2014
Flytefalls:
Do you ever feel you must purposefully act nice?

Negative stereotyping of black people is ignorant yet internationally pervasive. When you find people who are intrigued in you because you are black, do you ever feel it's your responsibility to represent well? Just asking smiley
An attribute of proper literacy, upbringing and civil decency, is representing well regardless of colour or case scenario's...
Thats what I feel basically.
TravelRe: Becoming A Tourist Attraction Because You Are Black; Experiences Abroad? by optimusprime2(m):
Its incredibly common in Turkey, I have taken tons upon tons of photo's with random people who always approach me with this look of awe... and if you dare speak Turkish@that point looool ol boy you don become superstar be that.
I remember once@Magusa K.K.T.C last year, I practically took photo's from a queue of tourists in a supermarket, there were some Kazakstani girls who literally begged to touch my hair, lol I felt like Snoop Dogg.
Once I had an awkward moment with a Ukrainian lady who calmly asked me if my package was... errrrh... you know really large, because she was curious-I wonder what she'd heard about Afro packages lol.
At Kyrenia still @K.K.T.C I was crowded by curious children who were all eagerly trying to speak english with me and when I responded "Hello! how are you guys?" that was it, they were all jumping around thrilled and excited like I was a movie star loool.
But there were also times I was ostracized like I had a disease, sometimes peolpe ran away from me lol, prolly because they've never seen a black person b4. The Asians are particularly fond of this.
anyway they were all pleasant experiences.

Russia kehuh?
it amazes me to see a sane minded "Nigerian" individual list Russia as a potential study Destination... dont you read travel posts on Nairaland about Russia?? assuming you have no forehand knowledge of Russia as a country- and you boldly list Russia as an intending stud...
like seriously who does that??

*Final Beam*
If you intend to travel to a country where English is not a 1st language,
1. you should make sure that you are adequately prepared mentally, to learn the language.
2.The language will be of relevance to you, i.e you aint just going to Japan or Portugal for the sake of travelling abroad, but because you want the proficiency of Japanese or Portugese to be added to your CV due to your professional or career requirements or future goals.
3. The interest of the language must be there, otherwise that country go taya you, even if the country is heaven... and on that note, in the absence of financial constraints, nobody can best pick or select a country best for you, you should know why you are going there, not because "Them say"
Barış, Sonra.

Cos Flights from the U.S to Canada are considered domestic flights.
God Bless you...
thats why some airlines belong to alliances.
with Delta Airlines a US transit Visa to Canada is not necessary once you have a Canadian Visa (ESTA requirements have to be met), otherwise you would'nt even be checked in the flight in the first place(Delta pour vous).
ignorance is a bane
