washing d face doesn't save any one frm blindness sir

A brother shared this testimony in the church today.

He was travelling to Warri and he had a very busy night and was feeling dizzy while driving but the trip is a must because he must catch up the appointment in warri.

He said he is not in the habit of picking people on the highway, but he needed someone whom he will be discussing with to prevent him from sleeping while driving.


Luckily for him, when he got to Choba brigde he saw two young ladies standing by the roadside waiting for car they waved at him and he quickly stopped.


The lady: Good afternoon sir


The man: yes good afternoon


The lady: Sir please will you get to Mbiama junction?


The man: Yes but I can only carry one person


The lady: Ok no problem sir, I just met her here we are not together.

The lady claimed.


She joined the man and they drove off, along the line she started acting restless, looking at the man, pressing her smart phone chatting and after a while she started answering calls, though she never said anything in the phone just mmh, mmh uhh, yes, no.

During the calls the man reduced his speed, and started observing the lady. At some point the lady started talking to the man seeking attention and all, he kept quiet and was observing her.

They got to Ahoada, the lady said she want to buy something and the man said he can't wait.

She went down and the brother drove off and told her good bye, along the line he decided to buy fuel and drove into a Total filling station, while waiting something told him to search the car especially the area the lady was sitting because she might mistaking drop a feminine object that he can't explain to his wife, while search he saw bunch of Indian hemp wrapped in a brown paper he quickly picked it up, asked for their rest room, went in and empty the content of the paper inside the toilet, flush and threw the paper inside the waste bin there, bought his fuel and continue his journey this time around the sleep cleared from his eyes.


They got to Mbiama bridge at the police highway patrol checkpoint before the army check point his car and one other car was thoroughly search they didn't find anything in his car yet they never allowed him to go as they continued with unending search. 

Inside the other car they find Indian hemp under the seat, the man couldn't explain how it got in their, later he said he over had the man pleading and telling the police man he picked one lady at Choba bridge, probably the lady never knew it fell off from her bag.

Later the brother excused the man and asked him the cloth the lady was wearing and where she dropped, behold it's the lady standing with the one he picked and she stopped at the same Ahoada but he was smart enough to search his car after she dropped and discovered bunch of Indian hemp wrapped in the same paper similar to the one he thrashed in the toilet at the filling station.


He realised it was a set up but to avoid paying for what he cannot substantiate he kept quiet until they asked him to go and took the other man to their station, only God knows how they settled.


For the single men and married men driving on the high way do not pick strangers.

why didnt he anonymously report d case nd request there b an investigation into it....no body wld do gud in dis country anymore ....it's dis bad

that's cause u re hvin an uncorrected refractive error. u ll b needing glasses most likely...pls go fr an eye exam

For​ over four years now ,I came back from market and notice that I cannot see clearly and notice some black movement like thread or cobwebs in my vision and​ I can't see properly with my left eye,I have been to the hospital and the Dr said is hormones no major causes,pls what could be my problem and solution pls

i ll suggest u go to an eye clinic to hv an eye exam to ascertain d cause of the reduced vision ....buh at tyms noticing cobwebs in one's vision could b due to vitreous degeneration associated wit ageing nd it doesn't pose any threat to one's vision....so tk out tym for an eye exam to know d actual state of ur eye health

Pls Doc, i'm short sighted and have been wearing glasses for some few years, but I've noticed that i am becoming so dependent on glasses, and when i'm not wearing glasses my vision becomes blurry,pls are there supplementary drugs to be taken to correct short sightedness or could it be corrected only with an extended use of corrective glasses? drugs cannot cure refractive errors nd myopia is one of such ....ur glasses doesnt actually mk ur vision worse..it's just dt u re now used to seeing better(tnks to d glasses) hence wen u take off ur glasses, evritin now seems odd (u re now aware or d great difference btw d clarity in vision u nw enjoy wit glasses nd d way u used to see without glasses)....but it doesnt worsen ur vision ....most spectacle wearers actually complain abt dis....u cn actually try contact lenses or sm special glass type dt wld nt mk d lens thickness obvious

I had a blow to d eye approximately 5years back or so..there wasn't swelling or bleeding at the time of the incident,only pain. Well my eye started generating and me in my nonchalance didn't go for medical checks. well of recent situation has gotten stinky

- I have been getting a lazy eye
-Blurry vision (When I look at light e.g emitting from a tiny source I see rings with smthn like pix attached)
- When I close d good one so as to use d affected 1 to read my phone screen at night...I end up becoming quite blind as I can't see anythn under low light
-My eyeball feels hard and my eye lid skin feels lifeless

frm ur xplanation, i ll suspect u hving cataract associated wit an increase in intraocular pressure..cnt b certain until u go for an eye exam,....u may b lucky enough nd have some improvement in vision or save d remaining vision in dt eye....do not delay in health matters especially ur eye health...

I went to the opthamologist specialist...did an ultra sound scan,nothing was found....i'm now at ease..the flashes have eased a bit too

ok.. Went to upth yesterday,they couldnt trace it so i they referred me to an opthamological lab to carry out more screenings..
I'm really freaking out.what are the chances its not a retinal tear if i may ask?
And also how much is the treatmeant/surgery....hope it doesnt come to that tho.

d chances re slim based on d history ....nd d procedure fr treatment is quite xpensive...it's good u adher to recommendations fr further tests ...al wil b wel ...gud luck

How this came about was because of a hit in my eye. Went to d clinic yesterday... Maybe i should visit anoda clinic.. But will this flashes ever stop... What kind of treatment is required?

wz abt asking u sm questions but decided not to cos frm ur post , it wz stated u went to an eye clinic nd hence a qualified professional might hv attended to u ....since therez a history of trauma to d eye , pls go to an eye clinic dts wel equipd xo u can carry out more comprehensive test to rule out a retinal tear. yes it wld stop wen d cause is identified nd d treated.....

Doctors in the house..... This past week i have been having flashes in my right eye,the outer part. I went for checkup at an eye clinic today... The doctor said there was no damage to d retina,gave me an eyedrop too.....also advived me to do checkups if it persists.... Should i be concerned?

yes it's a tin for serious concern..flashes usually is as a result of pull/ thug on the sensory retina observed in cases of vitreous detachment or retinal tear which could lead to retinal detachment nd can cause visual impairment if not handled properly. if d flashes re persistent, u ll nid to go bk fr more comprehensive eye exam

good evening opticians, I am 20yrs old i do have frequent itching of the eyes but not both at a time and its been so for nearly 10yrs I do rely on VISINE and BETADRONE eye drops but the relief they give is for a short time.This itching last for the duration of 2-3 days before it disappear and returns again.
Aside from that I do get blur vision and watery eyes when I try to focus.
DO I NEED PRESCRIPTION GLASSES?

stop abusing drugs....the betadron contains steroid which cld damage ur eyes on prolong use nd cld even cause blindness.....itching as a symptom could be caused by refractive errors...go fr an eye exam nd i think glasses is wht u actually need

Good day doctors in the house. I am 26 years old and I have a squint in my right eye which has been there from birth. My elder sister had the same issue and a surgery was performed on her at the age of 27 in a mission hospital in 2011. I went back to the hospital but the doctors that performed the surgery are no longer there. After examination, I was told that that my left eye is sleepy while the right eye is good. The squint is at angle 40. I was given glasses with the following details (R pl -1.25, /40).
I was told to wear the glasses for a while and come back for medical check up to see whether the angle has adjusted or corrected itself. I was also told to do a path test everyday for 1 - 2hours for the sleepy eye to make it active. I wanted a surgery but the doctors do not consider it an option for now.

patching may not really yield improvement at this age of lyf......notin much could be done to improve ur vision fr now as the amblyopia (which resulted from the squint) has been long standing . surgery isnt usually recomended in dis type of squint but may b considered fr cosmetic reasons nd there cld arise a nid fr a repeat of d surgery ...but fr now just comply to the recommendations at least fr trying sake u may b lucky but success rate is slim...

I'm a student and a freelancer and I spend most of my time studying and working on my phone and pc. I can feel I have slight issues though already, but I think having an anti glare glasses is just the best to solve this...

Morning docs
I got hit on the eye with handkerchief. The next day I noticed the eye aches anytime the light intensity changes. it go worse the following day. I have gone to the hospital, the doc gave me eye drop and some drugs but there is no change, I think it is worse now. He said I should get shade because of the sun. I'm afraid o , I hope its not something serious. I'm also have slight headache at that side of the eye. thanks.

it happened on Sat, that's just three days ago.
the doc gave me amoxicillin capsule - 500mg and paracetamol.

hez supposed to give u a topical anti inflammatory drop ....nt treating wit systemic antibiotics....pls go to an eye clinic ASAP fr proper management nd i ll advise u nt to self medicate as an eye exam wld b needed to rule out oda possible complications...wish u quick recovery
