post=99966358:I wish we can take this area by area so that it is very obvious to even the blind which governor performed greater feats. Take it point by point, so that it is obvious that even in physical development (Roads, bridges and flyover), Obiano still beats Umahi. Yet, in other areas of development, Umahi practically scored zero! In any case, let us take these projects one by one. Start with; 1, security, then 2, agriculture, then 3,roads, 4. flyovers and bridges. 5.Then community choose your projects, then 6, malls, hotels, 7, Traditional rulers emoluments and upgrade, 8, Anambra infrastructure for Police games, 9. real estate development, 10. then education / schools development / buses & internet access to all secondary schools, 11. then SMEs clusters 12. New markets development 13. Electricity enhancement projects ( 4 power grids around Anambra) 14. Rural Communities Development, Light up Anambra project etc 15. before we come to the present things like airport, ICC, Stadium etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ykg5hLkeAgc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=raS4bOMzscY It is beyond contest that Obiano transformed his state in every thinkable sphere of development. Take your time to document these things well by each segment above. Let us see how Umahi performed in each area above. Let this thread finally put the rest the lie by APC urchins about Umahi being this and that. |

AsomughaChuks02:Oga AsomughaChuks02, You submission and generalization of every Ebonyian in one bucket is totally ignorant and tasteless. I am sure you are personally poor because every wealthy person knows they are wealthy from hardwork not which village they were born. Only poor people in the village tend to believe that only people from their village are rich merely because they come from there, not because they worked hard. Ebonyi state has indeed transformed and we are all proud of it! Just as we are proud of the developments in Anambra. I don't know where you guys come from that you will think an Anambra person will be unhappy to see development in Ebonyi state or elsewhere in Igboland. Infact, Anambra people even go to Gusau, Kafanchan to develop the place. Why would any true Anambra person be sad or deny the progress we have witnessed in Ebonyi state? Ohaozara:Oga Ohaozara , Your words is too harsh. Ebonyi people do not hate Anambra people as Anambra people donot hate Ebonyians. You can hate Anambra people and try to convince yourself that every Anambra person is the same. Na you sabi. But, it is not true. Infact, two Nnewi people or two Abagana people are not the same, talkmore of an Ufuma person and an Umueri person or Okija person. But you can believe what you like and hate who you love to hate. It is your personal burden and weakness and life that nobody can save you from. They will similarly hate you once they notice you hate them. There are things both Anambra and Ebonyi states have comparative advantage in doing. Commercial development and Agricultural development complement eachother in sane societies. But not in Nigeria or Africa in general. Africans often don't understand that two people can complement eachother rather than pull eachother down. Like the case of a foodstuff seller and the farmer. If the farmer does not produce, the foodstuff seller goes out of business and vice versa. But Africans inherently lack the capacity to build on eachother's strength for the overall good of everyone. That is why they continue to fight eachother and perpetually remain in poverty. Ebonyi state should aim to develop like Europe or America and not use Anambra as its yardstick. Just as Anambra aims to develop into a modern place without using Ebonyi or Lagos as yardstick of development. |
post=99884138:Someone mentioned that the space reserved for the 5 star hotel could be encroached upon in the future and i totally agree. It is like how the entire land around the Enugu ICC was later given to private estate developers by the Chime regime. I agree that the best strategy to ensure the hotel planned with this conference center is built where it is meant to be, the foundation block of the hotel should be laid now. Even if its a simple design that can be finished quickly.

[s] mktinsight:[/s] Please stop quoting me! We are not mates that you think your little clever intrigues will get you anywhere. We all know you unfathomable hatred for Anambra. Yet, you have no hatred for your state that receives so much more than Anambra from Federation account with absolutely nothing to show for it! Go to Ogun thread and suggest to them! Leave Anambra people alone! Even a dundee know that Peter Obi performed better than Ngige and Obiano performed better than Peter Obi. You have carefully inserted Ngige there to give the impression that people in APC know anything at all. By the way, have you seen that the Anambra International airport is about 70% completed? I know a seller of sniper if you would like to order some before the next round of pictures next month that will show you tiled floors inside the terminal building, completed runway with night landing and ATC tower that is already functional. ![]() Clearly you are blind not to have noticed the large sloping corridors leading to the upper levels and the large areas in the upper level. There is no way you make corridors that wide if the upper levels are not for passengers. In any case, your wicked thought for the airport has come to naught. It is progressing and the government is right to have kept their project out of the wicked eyes of anumanus. We know your type in Nigeria. If you want to find out about the project TRAVEL TO UMUERI AND TAKE SOME PICTURES! Stop hoping on someone's else's pictures while you refuse to leave your abode in Osogbo! Gov. Obiano promised Ndi Anambra that the airport will be a parting gift to the people and he wants it to be a surprise to us. We are happy that he is keeping it a surprise gift to us so that we will be wowed when we see the final product. We like it how our Governor has planned it. Go and tell your own state governor to give your people a surprise parting gift too! Slow poison. ![]()

Rocksvibes234:What i love most is the three levels of the airport! This shows the structure is indeed massive. Looking at it, each level should be able to accommodate up to 250 - 300 seats! Thus, it will be able to hold a good number of passengers and even a little space for, toilets, food or gift shops on each level! The ground floor can host the airline check in counters, the luggage claims carousel, Security clearance gate for travelling passengers, toilets and a few shops! Thus it will take several years before expansion of the terminal building will be needed.

PROUDIGBO:It looks like the land location for the lift. Although it could be anything. |
OBALOLA55:The so called "Camp" was inside someone's farm! This is the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1a7OOzWTQu8 The amazing thing is that you can clearly see the mounds for yams and ridges on the farm! These wicked herdsmen deliberately take their cattle to graze on planted crops to ensure they ruin the farmers and perhaps make them die from hunger! If the farmers are too scared to confront the herdsmen and be butchered. Wicked agenda ! |
post=9:After collecting compensations for parcels A,B,C and D lands acquired by Anambra state government for the airport project, it appears some members of the community want to play 419 by selling the same lands to unsuspecting private individuals who want to benefit by presence of an international airport in the area to own properties there. Ordinarily, i would have suggested that the state government fish out these bad eggs, drag them through the courts and totally deal with them. Until they exhaust all the money they collected from illegal land sales. But since this is such a joyous project for the entire state, the current agreement to pay even more compensation for already compensated lands, and release some previously compensated and acquired lands back to the community is a very magnanimous decision to keep the community and every onye Anambra happy with the project. |
etokhana:Buhari and El Rufai should quickly pay the ransom demanded and save the lives of these innocent people. I know those evil Nigerian rulers in Aso rock will be counting those among the captives who are either Fulani or Muslim to decide if they should save their lives or not. |
Priscy01:That Oby Ezekwesili is the husband and the man is actually the wife in that relationship. She just runs the poor, quiet man like a maiguard without respect. Especially during her romance with OBJ to remain the minister of education during an impending cabinet reshuffle. |
PROUDIGBO:Concrete buildings alone will make a place appear modern, but can never make a place beautiful. It is blending the concrete building around well positioned trees and flowers (LANDSCAPING) that makes the place both modern and beautiful. It is something that will take a while for many to understand. However, since this is a catholic school, i am sure the Reverend Sisters will ultimately transform the environment with nice trees and flowers because they understand the importance of serenity. Generally, I think it will take the next generation that never had to live in a hut to appreciate that merely building a concrete structure better than a mud hut is not the only improvement needed. Greenery with landscaping and upgrading the ambiance of the environment through planting of trees, flowers and grass is an equally important part & parcel of moving away from the village mud house era without effort to improve ambiance of the environment. It will indeed require the next generation who will become accustomed to seeing concrete houses in order to develop the mentality that the environment equally needs to be upgraded apart from just the physical building structure.

Nairaland mods will not see fake news to take down. If I type dullardinno, they will censore that one. ![]() Anyway, wetin kwancern me? |
If you want "peaceful co-existence" with Fulani, then just surrender your land to Fulanis and go into exile with your people. That is the bottomline of the entire Fulani agenda in Nigeria. |
donmixc: ![]() Hehehe....lol... you think anyone is scared of that? Nigeria is going down unless it addresses this issue fairly. They can send Fulani army as they have done, the problem will only escalate and the resistance will stiffen to involve even Fulanis living in the towns and cities like LoKpanta, Ugwuoba etc, who have been left alone to do their business because they are not destroying farms or camping illegally in the forests. The herdsmen destroy people's livelihood & farms, thus you limit your action to their own livelihood and allow them to escape with their lives. There is a reason they spare the lives of the herdsmen. The minute that reason does not hold again, you will see it too. |
bobogoat91: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1a7OOzWTQu8 It is the same area. I know that area very well. The amazing thing is that you can clearly see the mounds for yams and ridges on the farm! These wicked herdsmen deliberately take their cattle to graze on planted crops to ensure they ruin the farmers and perhaps make them die from hunger! If the farmers are too scared to confront the herdsmen and be butchered. Wicked agenda ! |

The community had been pleading for weeks to the herdsmen to stop destroying their farms. In Nigeria, you plead with herdsmen at your peril. You just need to protect your farm and your crops in any way you can. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbKu4bI4D6I |
Very likely the handiwork of Fulani herdsmen! That is what Fulani shakes have reduced this country to. A mere killing field. |
The Unity Park is a fantastic and exclusive idea of developing world class relaxation areas in Enugu to boost tourism. No matter how we feel about the Governor, he must be commended for putting this great idea to reality. I hope they find a way to add children swing area and a good way to fill up those artificial ponds to add the added beauty of boat sailing in the park for children. I hope the government will finally contract the management of the park out to a private firm who will make sure the toilets are washed and clean, will probably sink a bore hole or a well there to ensure toilets are flushed and water is always in the artificial lake. Also, if they air-condition the conference room inside the roaring lion, it could easily be rented out for meetings or even small parties etc. I hope they contract out the management of the park to a private company that pays a fixed rate every month to the state government similar to the management of the Port Harcourt pleasure park. The company will maintain the park in a pristine state, and improve the facilities specific facilities named in the contract in the park. A gate fee of N500 naira for adults and free for children less than 10 years will be reasonable if they install those fun outdoor activities for children. If the unity park is carefully developed and fun activities especially for children are introduced in a secluded part of the park, it has a huge potential of becoming a major tourist attraction and huge source of revenue for the state. By the way, this vlogger has lots of nice Enugu content in her channel. You will see A LOT about Enugu through the eyes of a foreigner when you subscribe to her channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xx33Fsstc7E

Obdk:Nnewi, Ichi and Oraifite will say ahu aduho ghu If you know you know. |
The location name of Anambra Airport will be "UMUERI" This was resolved as the community ends protest and gets back 288 Hectares from the state government, and more compensation for the project. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwB0VIZC28o |
Obdk:Oga, you are pathetic in telling lies ![]() My father is Gen. Tony Muomah! |
Takes you forever to simply name your village and one person from there? Ndo! ![]() Keep searching online. I will show you where you got your lies from. |
Obdk:Blah blah, blah...... Nnewi also has a market called Nkwo Nnewi and all sorts of distractions you have posted. Tell me where in Nnewi you are from and one prominent neighbor in your village. |
Obdk:I simply asked you" Where in Nnewi are you from? Because i know you are a liar! Don't ask me how i know Nnewi so well. Just answer the question. |
