PoliticsRe: Atiku Should Stop Fooling Nigerians by OreMI22: 3:53pm On Dec 01, 2018
The choice before Nigerians in 2019 is between peace & prosperity versus poverty & war.

Atiku has been a strong manager of human and financial resources.
Atiku is a dedicated and patriotic Nigerian who has created employment, quality education and a lot more for Nigerians.

On the other hand,

Buhari has not managed anything or being successful in anything EXCEPT PLOTTING COUPS.

Nigeria has drifted to the bottom of all human development indices under Buhari

Buhari is the 1st sitting President where the other former Presidents unanimously agreed that he was roundly incapable of leadership.

Nigeria deserves a change and Nigeria must change the disaster called Buhari in 2019.

afroniger:
Even at that, it still can't be true. Onitsha proper has a very small landmass and population. The last census attests to that. And even with the addition of the so-called neighboring cities, nothing suggests what is being peddled in that report. No way Onitsha can be larger than Abuja, Kano, Ibadan, or PH, be it in landmass or population. No concrete data supports that. This report's conclusions are baseless.
Did you say Nigerian Census? LOLLLLzzz............ grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
Even the mentally insane know Nigerian census is the MOST FRAUDULENT allocation of numbers to deserts just to steal oil money because of Nigeria's method of sharing revenue from other people's territory.

The true population is there for anyone to see. Even satellite imagery of the so called big cities in Nigeria reveals the huge SCAM called Nigerian census.

I have asked Buhari this same question. I am wondering as to the magic wand they use to stem Fulani Herdsmen from killing and taking over areas. Buhari is responsible for those attacks.

They will use oil money to build hydroelectric power stations., then turn around to sell the power to other African countries while southern Nigeria is in pitch darkness without electricity.

Those still doubting if Buhari is actually from Sudan or Niger Republic need not to worry. Just watch how he plots to use Nigeria's resources to develop his native country. While keeping Nigeria undeveloped.

PoliticsRe: Isreal's Advisory Committee report on Igbos, For its Ongoing Jewish Research by OreMI22: 8:46pm On Nov 29, 2018
wafersoc:
There is an ongoing Government research on the Jewish diasporas that will bring israel and her diaspora closer. i read this >>> Report of the Public Advisory Committee for Examining Israel’s Approach Regarding Worldwide Communities with Affinity to the Jewish People on the isreali Ministry of disaporan affairs government's website.

http://www.mda.gov.il/antisemitism/documents/eng200818.pdf

The igbos are considered by the Israelis as the major Jewish group in Africa. but because of certain hurdles and the fear of them being major targets in Nigeria, research has been done at a slow pace albeit being the most researched African Jewish group.

Excerpts below.

In recent years, there has been a growing awakening of various groups with affinity to the Jewish people or to Israel, even though they are neither Jews, nor are they entitled to the Law of Return. This is a fascinating trend with strategic potential for the Jewish people and the State of Israel, since these are tens of millions of people who can constitute circles of contacts, affinity and support for the Jewish people and the State of Israel.

The existence of these groups and their desire for a contact with the Jewish people raised the need to investigate the phenomenon and formulate operative recommendations pertaining to the State of Israel’s treatment of this phenomenon, as well as thinking about the attitude of the Jewish people in the Diaspora towards these groups. As a rule, we do not have a distinct category to which they can be associated, having the Law of Return on the one hand, and the Entry into Israel Law on the other.

That is why I have established a public advisory committee that will be tasked with examining the matter comprehensively and in a far-sighted
manner, and with clarifying both the factual aspects of the existence of these communities as well as the possible long-term implications for any policy that will be formulated regarding them. The committee is also required to formulate policy recommendations to the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs in order to lead their implementation within the government of Israel and among the Jewish people.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dr. Daniel Lees, Basel University, Switzerland, researcher of Jews and Judaized Africans, mainly the Igbos:

Lees has been studying the Igbo tribe (also called Ibo) since 2006 when he traveled to Nigeria and found four substantial communities of Judaized Igbos. Since then some of the communities have split and new ones created. The Igbo is an ethnic group numbering about 30 million members and is concentrated mostly in South-Western Nigeria, but its members are also scattered in other regions. Owing to the slave trade, some of the blacks in the USA and in the Caribbean are descendants of the Igbo. In recent decades many Igbos emigrated to Europe. Almost all Igbos hold the belief that they are of Jewish descent. The Igbos today are Christians, but even a minority of Igbos who remained faithful to their pre-Christian pagan religion believe in their Jewish origin. Dr. Lees’ impression is that the belief in Jewish origin does not stem from economic motives, since the 20,000 Igbos currently living in Switzerland who hold to this belief do not benefit from it at all. Judaized Igbos currently number several thousand at most.

The Igbo’s belief in their Jewish descent is nothing new, as early as 1840, when a British scientific delegation went out to research the Igbo tribes, the Chief Rabbis of London sent with them a letter of inquiry to the Igbo tribesmen, under the assumption they were of Jewish origin.
Early 1840, Olaudah Equiano, a freed slave who became one of the first and most prominent spokesmen for the rights of colored people, authored a book which noted the many parallels he had found between beliefs and customs of the Igbo tribesmen and those of the Jews. In 1840, when a British scientific delegation set out to research the Igbo tribes, the Chief Rabbis of London sent a letter of inquiry with them to the Igbo tribesmen, under the assumption they were of Jewish origin. It would be advisable to establish an Igbo research and study center, send representatives from Israel to regularly meet these groups, and invite representatives of communities like this one to activities organized by Israeli embassies.

..

Mr. Danny Limor, who was active in bringing Ethiopian Jews to Israel via Sudan, and directed a study program about immigration:

Limor is mainly active in helping the Igbo communities in Nigeria interested in converting, and also other groups like the Lemba in South Africa. He visited Nigeria several times, accessing communities with an active synagogue run by Igbo tribesmen. He estimates some 10-15 communities total up to 5,000 people. The Igbos’ overt process of closer links to Judaism began about 50-60 years ago. Currently these communities include a generation born and wholly living according to a “Jewish” identity. “The people of the Igbo communities and similar groups are interested first and foremost in receiving an adequate Jewish education.” These communities’ main source of information regarding normative Judaism is the internet. Limor helped students from the community establish a Jewish student organization in Nigeria. He organized two weeks of intensive studies on Judaism and Israel for the youngsters of these communities, but this is just a drop in the ocean compared to what is really needed. The people of the Igbo communities are interested first and foremost in receiving an adequate Jewish education. It would be very helpful to establish a school or institute in Israel for Igbo communities and similar groups, allowing the communities’ youngsters specified study sessions offering meaningful materials about Judaism, Israel and leadership so that they can return to their countries and lead
their communities.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The disregard and continued inaction vis-à-vis these communities may have devastating consequences for the future of Israel and the Jewish People, among them: the creation of parallel communities which will be recognized in various countries as Jewish but will have no relation to the Jewish People or the State of Israel, forming a parallel, alternative Judaism; distancing those whose Jewish identity is weakening; missing important opportunities in cultural, economic and informational levels among those who wish to draw nearer and be of help to Israel; creating antagonism among those who could be Israel’s best friends.

Omooba77:
The Nigerian Army has said that it has discovered that Boko Haram terrorists have started using drones and foreign fighters. The Army in a statement by Brigadier General Sani Kukasheka Usman on Wednesday said ‘we have noticed daring moves by the terrorists, increased use of drones against our defensive positions and infusion of foreign fighters in their ranks. These potent threats require us to continually review our operations. Isreali Aerolight The Army also expressed gratitude to the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR) for visiting the troops including some of the wounded officers and soldiers in the hospitals saying ‘we thank His Excellency the Executive Governor and good people of Borno State who have taken the brunt of the nefarious activities of the Boko Haram terrorists. Our gratitude also goes to the Honourable Minister of Defence, the Chief of Defence Staff and the Service Chiefs, who have all shown concern and visited the troops. The Nigerian Army also thanks all patriotic and concerned Nigerians who have sent in messages of goodwill and support for the Nigerian Army.’
Read full statement below In continuation with our resolve to keep Nigerians well informed of the activities of the Nigerian Army, I will be briefing you on the recent happenings in the North East of Nigeria. In the recent weeks, Nigerian troops deployed in the North East of Nigeria under Operation LAFIYA DOLE have come under series of attacks by large numbers of Boko Haram Terrorists. Photos: Buhari in Maiduguri Specifically, the Nigerian Army troops deployed at KUKAWA, NGOSHE, KARETO and GAJIRAM came under attack at different times within a 2 week period from 2 – 17th November 2018. Each of these incidents were successfully repelled and several members of the terrorists were killed. However, a total of 16 personnel were killed in the course of these attacks while 12 soldiers were wounded in action and are receiving treatment at our military medical facilities. As you are all aware, Nigeria is contributing troops to the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) which has its headquarters in N’djamena, in the Republic of Chad. One of the Nigerian battalions (157 TF Bn), deployed under the auspices of the MNJTF was attacked at their Base on the outskirts of a town called METELE on 18th November 2018. During the attack, the troops were forced to withdraw and several casualties were recorded. As at date 23 personnel were killed in action and 31 personnel were wounded in action and have been evacuated to several medical hospitals within Borno State. The Nigerian Army commiserates with the MNJTF at this difficult time and wishes to state that all necessary support will be rendered to the MNJTF to reverse this resurgence of the Boko Haram Terrorists.
The Nigerian Army wishes to further commiserate with the families of the gallant officers and soldiers that paid the supreme price in the course of defending their fatherland. The sacrifices of these fallen heroes will not be in vain. We also wish all those wounded in action speedy recovery and assure them of our continued support and care. The incident of 18th November 2018, happened at a time when the Nigerian Army was planning to hold the Chief of Army Staff Annual Conference for 2018 in Benin City, Edo State.
On account of this incident, the Conference had to be moved from Benin City to Maiduguri to enable the Nigerian Army leadership get closer to the troops on the ground and to better appraise our activities, assess our performance and identify our shortcomings as an Army. We are also sensitive to the fact that the nation is approaching an election year and thus we must be prepared to assist in providing security for the peaceful conduct of elections. Accordingly, the theme for this year’s annual conference is aptly titled, “Optimizing the Operational Efficiency of the Nigerian Army Towards Safeguarding Democracy and National Security in Nigeria”. Let me at this juncture assure all Nigerians and indeed the international community that the NA will work optimally, in conjunction with other security agencies to provide a secure environment for peace and unity in Nigeria. Since 2015, the Nigerian Army in conjunction with sister services and other security agencies have systematically degraded the capabilities and capacity of Boko Haram terrorists and many successes were achieved. However, in the last 2 – 3 months, we have noticed daring moves by the terrorists, increased use of drones against our defensive positions and infusion of foreign fighters in their ranks.
These potent threats require us to continually review our operations. At this point permit me to implore all of us to spare a thought for the brave men and women of the Nigerian Army who paid the supreme price for the security of Nigeria. The Nigerian Army will continue to support the families of these brave officers and soldiers and pray that their souls rest in perfect peace. Let us also not forget the men, women and children who have been killed or affected by the atrocities of the terrorists. It is for their sake that this war against terror must be won. The Nigerian Army wishes to express its gratitude to the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR) who has visited the troops including some of the wounded officers and soldiers in the hospitals. We also thank His Excellency the Executive Governor and good people of Borno State who have taken the brunt of the nefarious activities of the Boko Haram terrorists. Our gratitude also goes to the Honourable Minister of Defence, the Chief of Defence Staff and the Service Chiefs, who have all shown concern and visited the troops. The Nigerian Army also thanks all patriotic and concerned Nigerians who have sent in messages of goodwill and support for the Nigerian Army. Finally, the Nigerian Army, wishes to reiterate and pledge its total commitment to the defence of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We wish to reassure all Nigerians of the commitment of the Nigerian Army to defend our country at all costs. We shall also continue to remain apolitical, professional and responsive in the discharge of our constitutional roles.

It Appears Reno Omokri is having none of the explanations provided by Buharis handlers as regarding the massacre of Nigerian soldiers by Boko Haram which the adminiatration earlier tried to cover up.

He just shared a throwback tweet by Buhari in which the current President accused President Jonathan Of ignoring deaths. Reno wrote
"Read @MBuhari’s 2015 tweet accusing @GEJonathan of ignoring the deaths of soldiers killed by Boko Haram because of elections and retweet this if you agree that President Buhari is the greatest hypocrisy of all time.

Buharis 2015 tweet read :

" it is unacceptable to ignore or minimize the death of citizens because of election. It is heart breaking. things must change"

Unfortunately Buhari who promised before the elections to lead the fight against Boko Haram from the front has been cought severally doing thesame thing he criticized others of doing. Despite several claims by Lai Mohammed and the president Boko Haram continues to wreck havoc.

Just this week Channels reported that the army refuted the reports on the massacre of our soldiers until Reno, Salkida and Foreign media provided irrefutable evidence that over 150 of our ill equipped but patriotic service men loss thier lives in a cruel manner to terrorists. See source : https://www.channelstv.com/2018/11/23/after-attack-on-nigerian-soldiers-is-claims-it-killed-118-persons-in-west-african-province/

The Buhari regime is intent on massacre of southern peoples in the army.

While he sends Fulani people to go and relax on southern Nigeria streets to collect bribes from motorists, he send southern and Igbo soldiers without proper equipment into Boko Haram battles so that they are killed.

Why can't all Nigerian military units simultaneously go to the northeast and liberate the area from Boko Haram?

Agritech:
National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress ( APC) , Adams Oshiomhole , on Wednesday, took a swipe at the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP), saying that the only integrity they have is the reputation of share the money .
Oshiomhole spoke when he inaugurated the 42- man National Peace and Reconciliation Committee at the party secretariat , in Abuja , emphasising that only Nigerians with short memories can compare the APC and the PDP.
The former governor of Edo State expressed surprise that the attack from certain aggrieved persons in the APC did not have the effect the opposition expected .
Extolling the committee members , Oshiomhole said , “ On behalf of the NWC , I want to appreciate each and every one of you who , despite your very crowded schedule as governors , senators, ministers, at short notice , honoured us by accepting your appointment to serve in this committee we set up your help us as a party find in - house solution to our problems by restoring peace , enduring internal unity and harmony within the APC family .
“We have gone through very crucial state in the processes leading to the next presidential, National Assembly, governorship and State Assembly elections . I think by my own record , of the 36 states and the FCT , we have done exceedingly well.
“It is impossible even for the most gifted child to score 100 per cent in every subject and the more questions you have to answer, the higher your chances of missing some of them .
“One thing I learnt early in life in trying to lead people of equal is that once you become the chairman of a logo association , you automatically become the logo dustbin to which everybody empties everything that is dirty.
“I have had my own unfair share of people , who in anger , chose to attack me as a person, but unfortunately it does not coincide with what the opposition , the PDP had always wanted.
“Bringing on board my past reputation was by itself a challenge to the PDP that has no reputation.
“If they had any, it is only the reputation of share the money . They shared it as recklessly as they could and these are no longer in the realm of speculation because they are the subject of litigation in the courts across the country.
“Four years ago , around this time , we were in opposition and the value of our tickets , if we have a political market where tickets are awaited, were certainly not near they are today.
“Only men of conviction and of vision can subscribe contesting election on our platform .
“I believe that our collective verdict under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari, who is our presidential candidate have all worked hard in the last four years.
“We have not solved all the problems of Nigeria but those who have good memories will have no difficulty in comparing the previous 16 years of the PDP rule with the three and half years of the APC.
“Our people voted for change because they want to change the way the country is managed , the way governance is approached, eliminate corruption in the process of governance and reconcile efforts with rewards and eliminate the trend where people who work hard earn very little while those who have no business address are the billionaires .
“We wanted to address the situation where a Nigerian is buying a private jet every other week even without any business address.

ochejoseph:
President Muhammadu Buhari and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), have been asked to within seven days desist from using Next Level logo allegedly stolen from Rex Institute.

The order was handed to President Buhari and his ruling APC party, by Rex Institute, whose logo was allegedly stolen.
Supporters of Buhari had unveiled Next Level as the campaign logo and slogan for his re-election campaign on Sunday.
Soon after the unveiling of the logo at the launch of Buhari 2019 campaign, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, had accused the President and his campaign organization of plagiarising the logo of a thesis authored by Kelly Costner, an Associate Professor of Winthrop University in South Carolina, USA.

Responding through a letter dated November 19, 2018 and addressed to the National Legal Adviser at 40 Blantyre Cres. Wuse 2 Abuja Nigeria, the institute vowed to drag Nigeria President and his party to court should they not respond to their order.

“Dear Sir Without prejudice, it has come to our attention that the All Progressives Congress Party of Nigeria has stolen the intellectual property right of our client, The Rex Institute.

“As you can see from the attached visuals, the logo your Party has just unveiled and which is being promoted by the Leader of the Party and the President of Nigeria on his Twitter feed is a direct copy of that of our client, with just a small colour change in the arrow.
“However, every other element from the name, font and design is identical. In fact, in my entire legal career, I have never seen such a blatant piece of plagiarism.

“We, therefore, demand that you immediately cease and desist in any use of the logo and make every effort to recall and destroy all materials which have already been disseminated.

“Failure to do so within 7 days will leave our client with no other option but to seek full legal redress via the Nigerian Courts. I look forward to your immediate reply. Yours faithfully Sue Lavache Attorney at Law,” the letter read.
