PoliticsRe: Atiku Media Organization Attack Buhari On Proposed $2.8billion Dollars Eurobond, by OreMI22: 1:21pm On Oct 11, 2018
Buhari just wants the future generation of Nigerians to be slaves to white people from all these unnecessary debts he is accumulating without any plan whatsoever about how to repay them.

The level of GRAND THEFT of Nigeria's resources under Buhari is mind boggling.

Oil is above $80 per barrel, our budget is $45 per barrel, - Yet Buhari is borrowing
All our national assets have been sold by Buhari - Yet Buhari is borrowing
Whistle blowers have returned huge amounts of money which have been unaccounted for - Yet Buhari is borrowing
MTN, Foreign companies and Nigerians have been slammed with taxes under false pretenses - Yet Buhari is borrowing
Excess crude account is not rising, our Foreign reserve is being depleted - Yet Buhari is borrowing
Not even one notable infrastructural project that Buhari has completed - Yet Buhari is borrowing huge debts

May God save Nigeria from the sweet tongue THIEVES we have in power now.

MrJanuzaj:
Willie Obiano picks Catholics in almost all his cabinet members in Anambra marginalizing Anglicans

IS IT A COINCIDENCE OR A DELIBERATE MANIPULATION AGAINST OTHER DENOMINATIONS?

While the lgbo nation are complaining about President Buhari's lopsided appointments, the governor of Anambra state,Chief Dr. Willie Obiano (who followed the footsteps of his predicesor in this area) did the same thing in Anambra state with his appointments.

Almost all the members of his principal officers, commissioners and Advisers are from the Roman Catholic Church. It was the same assumption made the last time that by one Chieftain of APGA that 'Apga is Catholic and Catholic is Apga'.

How can we be accusing President Buhari of marginalisation while our own governor has marginalised other denominations to this extent?

It is time Anglican bishops and other Preachers of the gospel begin to speak out to stop this absurdity. We are all one and the Government should not be dividing us through this parochial appointments. It should be corrected.
This is like a Yoruba person arguing that Igbos make up the appointments in Anambra when Yoruba constitutes <1% of the state's population

Therefore, To get an accurate estimate, we need the proportion of the population that is catholic and the proportion that is Anglican

Somebody who is desperate to be appointed by government so that he will go and chop Public money is definitely behind this mischief.

i won't speak much on that issue.
But i interact with IPOB leaders on the western hemishpere. But they are mostly like NK in reasoning. "I want to die for Biafra kind of mindset". If we all want to die needlessly before the fight even starts, who will be alive to lead the fight?

I even advised them to ask NK to leave Nigerian after his May bail because if they realize they couldn't incarcerate his through the courts, they will find a reason to invade his home and murder him. They all said it was impossible because Nigeria will burn if that happened. I don't know why it's so hard to reason with my brothers.

Nna, you must be kidding if you think IPOB has NO legal or intellectual framework.

Just recently the UN invited them for a hearing. They have gone too far to change their strategy. Just so you know.

I like the way they are being underestimated, so that they wont be restrained in pushing ahead.
Look, here in the US, i am one the IPOB strategists.

Having Judicial officers isn't the same as having a proper strategy. What i am talking about is how to EXPOSE all the Nigerian atrocities and the imbalance of the federation by speaking about the facts of the issue without saying one insulting word to anyone- even Buhari. Just say what he is doing, don't waste precious time calling him a jihadist or Pedophile. You achieve by stating the facts and lose by insulting anyone.

This is the approach IPOB must adopt. "SPEAK ABOUT THE FACTS & INJUSTICES, DON'T WASTE TIME ON INSULTING ANY POLITICIAN"

I have said in futility here that we must emulate what the Jews did in post WW2 Europe. The jews didn't have guns, but they nicely articulated what they suffered under Hitler and the Nazis and it was clear to the entire world that they needed their own homeland. They didn't waste time trying to show Hitler was an occultist or hiding his homosexual nature.

Now, it is not something you can do in a minute, but learn to gather and present evidence as FACTS! Don't say 200 people were killed if 20 were killed. Once you do that, Nigeria will present their counter evidence and your effort will simply become "Propaganda"

We have to listen and change tactics. It is so painful, when you hear our people simply saying just keep making noise. For what??

We have to be strategic and make the noise in a way that we can articulate what Nigeria is doing to Biafrans and WHY we want Independence. Unless you articulate these, Nigeria will always have the upper hand because they articulated their position nicely.

In this world, you MUST let people see the injustice done to you and not just keep shouting "Injustice, Injustice, without articulating what your struggle is all about"

Those groups didn't waste time to give press statements from their various cultural unions in all newspapers in this country, denouncing how they aren't Igbos and for those who are definitely not Igbos, how they aren't Biafrans.
See them talking of how people died in Rivers for IPOB. No be Eastern Igbos wey dey live there die so? The others were accidentally killed.

Those people are looking for who to exterminate , not me. The only thing that organization will achieve with their modus operandi is continuous extrajudicial killings of Igbos till our numbers deplete.
If you ask them they will say that the FG can keep on killing, that the international community is watching. Watching gini? They haven't finished watching Syria and now Cameroun.

Always adamant to all forms of useful advice.
You don't want election and you want referendum? Onye ga enye gi ya etu ahu?
I am pro Biafra mana m si gi na m ghotara ndi a, kpoo m onye asi .
Biafra will come but in the most reasonable way.
Say no to Multiethnic Biafra, not even for Referendum sef.
IPOB has a point, but they lack the proper intellect to pursue it.

Unfortunately, they were led by Nnamdi Kanu, with typical Igbo behavior of i know it all and i will listen to nobody.

IPOB asking for referendum is proper but not doing so in Nigeria. They should seek for audiences with governments and members of partliament abroad to table their cases. They also lack proper presentation skill. They keep saying, they pedophile, the islamic mallam is killing us and all sorts of childish talk -WITHOUT GIVING FACTS AND FIGURES!

Somebody should help them gather facts and figures so that when they say we are not members of country's security, they immediately back it up with a statement as "Among the 7 service chiefs, none of them are Igbo. Yet, Igbo is one of the 6 geopolitical zones in Nigeria.

They will say, they are killing us extra-judicially and immediately back it up with a statement of fact: "In May 2015, The Nigerian army killed 30 people in a church in Nkpor Anambra state where they had gone to PRAY for the restoration of Biafra", In January 2016, Nigerian army killed 15 youths in streets of Aba, jubilating on the street when they heard the court had granted bail to nnamdi Kanu. In July 2017, the Nigerian army under it's infamous operation Python dance
murdered 21 pro-Biafra youths arrested in a bus driving from Aba to Umuahia. The murdered youths were neither armed nor violent. In September 2017, Nigerian army invaded the home of Nnamdi Kanu killing 30 people and taking away Nnamdi Kanu and his parents. Their status is still unknown right now. In February 2018, Nigerian Police killed two women protesting the continued incaceration of lack of information on whereabout of nnamdi Kanu and kept the others in jail for 10 days without bail or visitors......

You have to STATE THE FACTS EVERYTIME and not just keep saying Buhari is a pedophile, he is a fool or some childishness. I have told them that if people from Catalonia simply said Spain is killing us the President of Spain is a pedophile because he is 20 years older than his wife, will you take them seriously? Is the issue Buhari's pedophilia or Biafra's freedom?

The problem with most of our Igbo guys is just always talk, talk, talk without thinking or even ready to back up their talk with action.

I know this Igbo guy here in the USA, his specialty is JUST TALK- AND- COMPLAIN!

He will complain how Igbo gets nothing in Nigeria and how he wants Biafra so much and how he isn't a Nigerian and how he wouldn't go to Nigeria's independence day etc. Yet, this dude flies to Nigeria every 6 months using Ethiopian airline to Abuja or Lagos, even though his family live in Onitsha! I asked him why not patronize Enugu route because at least he flies Ethiopian which would have been their typical excuse. He said "oh!, that Enugu airport is substandard and i can't be going to such a place!". Yet, the same place is good enough for Ethiopian to fly in B788 3 times a week! He boastfully tells us he is building a house in Benin city, even when he does not have a hut in his village because his village people are evil!

So, our people just LOVE to complain and will not raise a finger to do anything for their region. Build up your regiona and it's infrastructure and even white people will want to claim their Igboness. If you don't develop your region, even the people within the region will deny being Igbo because nobody associates with failure.

Truth is that it isn't those who complain the loudest that have the least patriotism for Igboland.

A sick brother should not be completely neglected. If his reaction to you is what made you change towards other ikwerre, then its unfortunate.

Hear my own story:

I served in birnin-kebbi as a corper. Because the number of Igbo corpers were not much, we valued our day to day meetings. Ikechi, an ikwerre guy openly rejected being called Igbo, unknown to him, a elderly Hausa man heard. The Hausa man called his attention to hear his stance again in order to be sure he heard ikechi correctly. Ikechi repeated it again. The Hausa man laughed mockingly at ikechi, saying "ikechi, I sabi port Harcourt well well, this war and politics don't finish una brain well well.... To us, you be Igbo. We sabi una people tey tey".

Do you know ikechi was so ashamed of himself? He had to begin to explain that it was his parents that told him to reject being called Igbo. That igbos are not well favored in Nigeria.
Most of them did so after the war thinking it would give them so advantage against the defeated Igbos.

Even Sunday Oliseh that denied Igbo so he wouldn't be sacked from the national team, was the shortest serving national team coach on record.

Again, we don't need these people and we definitely DON"T NEED THEM TO PROFESS BEING IGBO.

We need to develop Igboland to the extent that all Africans and peoples will say "Wow!, I wish i were Igbo. Even with all their adversity, they still transformed into a developed nation in Africa".

We can do it if we look for a way to make doing business easy in the SE. The first step is to build an efficient transport system. The second is to tackle epileptic power generation and distribution in the zone.

Sometimes, we need political capital to allow us to build the railway and gas pipelines we need. That is where every ordinary Igbo person has a duty to vote for the right candidates that will allow some limited power to the states to build critical infrastructure. I cannot understand how States can build airports but not statewide railway lines that join up to the national railway network.

This is EXACTLY what we need in Igboland - MODERN DEVELOPMENT!

If you are able to develop yourself, everybody including people from Chad will claim they are Igbos if you meet them in China.

But nobody will accept they are Igbo unless the area is developed and worthy of pride. That is the key underlining factor our young internet warriors have failed to understand. Even people from backward villages deny their village in Lagos, talkmore deny an ethnic group if you know it brings you advantage and respect to do so.

I agreed with him that Igbo should develop our own facilities and homeland. But it does not mean we have to be everyone's enemy. You can very well develop your facility and people will queue up to come and live in Igboland.

People queue up to go to Europe and America because the facilities there are developed. Americans or Europeans don't need anyone to swear allegiance to Europe or America because those places aren't begging them. The only place begging you to swear allegiance to them are undeveloped places because they know nobody wants to be from there. You got it all wrong.
My reason for my stance on Ikwerre, is that it is essential we defined who is Igbo. If we don't do this, the entire Nigeria would take us for a ride and exploit us to the fullest.
Not long ago, GEJ is Igbo, Even Dakuku when he needed Igbo votes, became Igbo. Why do you think they are doing that?
Have you ever asked yourself that? Until we rid ourselves of all these opportunists we would never regain our stand in Nigeria. You make Igbo tag a cheap commodity to groups who openly deride and denounce us, and you wonder why no one takes us serious any longer in Nigeria?

Jim Nwobodo solved nothing. Ikwerres Igbo hate had nothing to do with our coming to Ikwerre land for jobs or to school. If it were, they would have simply enacted Indigene policies to protect and favour their own indigenes in admission processes and job opportunities, which is exactly what state schools in SE do. You will struggle as an Anambra man to get admission in EBSU Abakaliki,, because of their indigenous quota status.
Same thing with getting jobs in any state government institution in any SE state that is not your state of origin.
Indigenous protectionist policies are present in all SE states, yet they are not avenues for Igbophobia or Igbo denial.

You are simply juxtaposing issues here. Infact I'm beginning to wonder if you even understand the fundamental issues in discourse here. You are simply all over the place.

Nobody is dragging PH with anyone. I was born and bred in Enugu, I'm not from Enugu, I know I can't be governor of Enugu State tomorrow, but I also know that Enugu is an Igbo state whose people are Igbo people, and who Harbour no deep seated resentment towards me.
By the way, I don't live in Ph, but I'm glad you know that any Igbo man who had lived in Ph, will never support any idea to add Ikwerre to Igboland. Because they would have come face to face with the scathing reality of the Igbophobia of those people.

Eziokwu bu ndu. We will keep saying the truth, until our people swallow it, and together, we can revive the Igbo nation back to life again, after we must have cut off the current vampires and vultures feeding off us.
Sometimes the senselessness of your post gets me. I have never seen anyone that does anything without a concrete outcome they want to achieve. But for you, you just want to rant for nothing until Ikwerres scream they are Igbo. So what?? If i don't need to use Japanese ports, airports and lands, why do i need to go on a tirade just to get Japanese to accept they are Igbo? You can see why and how you don't make sense at all.

If you don't want to use port Harcourt and you know Igbos can stand without the Ikwerres, why don't you simply ignore them instead of spewing pointless hate on the internet? If you see an Ikwerre man claiming Igbo for a political position and you are tackling him with your points, then it would make sense then.

What you want to achieve with your tirade is for Ikwerre to accept they are Igbo or not. Fine, if Ikwerre say they are Igbo, so what? What does it change?
PoliticsRe: . by OreMI22: 1:18pm On Oct 08, 2018
What is so difficult for our people to grasp is that the quarrel in Nigeria is all about opportunity.

The fear for the Igbo is exactly the fear or hatred you have for a better candidate that shows up to the same job interview as you.

Let Ndigbo look inwards and build their own area. Let Ndigbo STOP focusing on how to count all the things they did to develop Kano or Sokoto!

Let Ndigbo build their own infrastructure, and nobody will deny that you did it! We can get a world bank loan and get Chinese CCC to construct this railway network that will revolutionize the zone and ease the stress of doing business in our zone. But the SE governors must work together and stop acting like thin gods in their tiny states. The must look up and see the bigger picture of regional economic integration as the only viable way to develop the region. The first step is an efficient railway system and the second is a power generating capacity through coal and gas.

Depending on FG to build anything reasonable in the SE is like asking Satan to help you get to heaven. It will NEVER happen!

It's not just politics. Every single Ikwerre man believes that Gowon is their liberator, whereas Ndiigbo were their oppressors. The stadium was named Liberation stadium in the first place, to celebrate their liberation from Igbo oppressors.
This was done after the war, so we could forgive them.
But for Wike to come and rename the stadium, Gowon stadium in 2017, while giving an Igbophobic speech that demonically presented Ndiigbo as oppressors who oppressed Ikwerre people and Rivers people in old Eastern region, you must know that things have not changed.
The story Wike told there, is exactly what Ikwerre commoners echo in their facebook pages. It's all too familiar.

Nazis had apologized for their role in Jewish pogrom, so what? Israelis should now start renaming infrastructures after Hitler?
Please spare me that talk. Non of those Igbo names sanctioned mass starvation against Nigerians. Non of them invaded Nigerians and bombed market places filled with market women and children, in bid to prevent food circulation and maintain starvation policy. Neither did they bomb Northern hospitals. Infact, I doubt you are even Igbo, I guess I'm replying you as an academic exercise.
Oga, you probably live in Port Harcourt and your Ikwerre neighbors have showed you pepper.

Why i laugh at people like you is that your only reason for your crusade is "Revenge" and NOT, let Igbo build their own industrial complex at home so we stop depending on anybody. I just told you how Jim Nwobodo solved the issue of lack of higher education placement for people of old Anambra state by creating his own University right there in Enugu, Abakaliki, Awka and Nnewi. In truth, that is the solution Igbos MUST imbibe in Nigeria.

Part of the reason for the thread is to proffer solutions on how this could be done. If Igbo concentrate more on how to develop Igboland than how to drag Lagos, Port harcourt and Abuja with the natives, they will be ok and others will soon enough begin to relocate to Igboland.

But we always want to be dragging Port Harcourt and Kano with these people instead of developing our homeland. A sense of inferiority complex makes the Igboman living in Ibadan feel more successful than the person in Enugu or Awka. We MUST learn to build our homeland and STOP expending energy looking for who hates us or not.

HOW THE EMIR SAVED THE IGBOS

1st october was approaching, there was a plan to attack and kill and attack Igbos merciless. The King of Igbos in Nasarawa heard this and immediately told the Emir who assured him that nothing will happen. For me, I was scared though I had to be careful.
On first of october, I totally forget about things. I went out with my bike and everywhere was peaceful and cool, I heard that the Emir ordered that nobody should touch Igbos or face punishment. We thank God but I was very sad because this quit notice made Igbos sell off their properties to fellow Igbos. We(my family) sold our shop many after running after returning and had to start life all over, the returnees were mocked by some Nasarawa people.

There are many Igbos in the north, I was born and brought up in Nasarawa. Let me tell you something, every election Igbos run back to their homeland to prevent death because they can just start killing Igbos over any unwarranted little annoyance like the quit notice. I will focus on how we escape death in north even though it is good for business e.g the october quit notice

2017 was the first year I hear about Nnamdi Kanu and how serious agitation for Biafra was but I showed less interest until the quit notice. Most Igbos were scared to death and most just smiled and we went about our normal business and work without fear. We are used to been butchered and nothing will happen, the only thing we controlled there is the economic. Many people sent their wife and children home, many returned, my mum was scared to death. She got thinner of this because of how she lost her father during the pogrom in 1966 and grow up an orphan, I wanted to return with her but changed my mind. Many Igbos urged their brethren to calm down and that nothing will happen. When I go to the street you see people discussing this matter, some felt bad for us but most wanted us out of their lives. They believe we have dominated them enough, you will see little children less than 12 discussing how they will stab Igbos with knife and take whatever they wanted from our shops

please note that not all of them hates Igbos but all of them suffer from Igbophobia.

I will continue when I get your permissions, I need Igbos in east and west to see how things are with Igbos here.
Oga,
Any Igbo in the north has partly sacrificed his life already. It is like enlisting in the army in a wartime. You should be prepared for it.

But i say to you guys again, make money and relocate to Burkina Faso or Niamey instead of living in northern Nigeria. Stop living only in the present. You know nothing about the future.
I think that guy's problem is that he tried unsucessfully to date an Ikwerre girl.

But seriously, we know there are squabbles in every clan including the Yorubas or Fulanis.

I agree that the SE igbos should not always turn their back to be used. If a negotiated benefit cannot happen with our Ikwerre brothers, then everyone should go it alone. But not to come to nairaland to spew hate against othe Igbo groups.

I also agree the SE should not be made to depend on facilities in the SS - including the SS airports. Igbos should LEARN to build their own facilities than agree to attach to anybody's facilities. I vividly remember in 1980s, Igbos used to queue up for admission at Uniport, and it brought unprecedented tension with Ikwerre and Ijaw people.

Gov Jim Nwobodo as an astute administrator got Prof Kenneth Dike (1st U.I Vice Chancellor) and other notable professors and set up a State University with Campuses in Abakaliki, Awka and Nnewi ! That school satisfied the urge for Igbos to go to Uniport and UNN. Soon enough, Sam Mbakwe did the same thing in Uturu, Imo State.

Igbos should learn to build facilities they need in their land. If Igbos can do that, they will solve 80% of their problems in Nigeria because the other people simply want to use Igbo numbers to run their facilities. While reminding Igbos at every juncture that they don't belong.

What we don't have in the east are cash crops like cocoa, cashew, kola nut and I think the State and Local Govt have a role to play here, we already have palm trees which in turn produce palm carnels, udara, ube
are everywhere in the village.
What has happened since the end of the civil war is that the Igbos were brainwashed to simply accept food from other tribes in Nigeria and refuse to develop their own agriculture.

The tragedy of that situation is that hunger and unemployment quadrupled in the SE and led to massive emigration of Igbos. We must change the narrative that Igbo cannot even feed itself. We failed to realize that no country could ever really develop if it could not feed its own people.

If we can convert some empty hills and bushes into some productive piece of land such as cashew plantations. Palm plantations and other cash crops, it will create enough economic base for most of our states to develop sustainable IGR and employ youths gainfully. We are not even talking about producing for export yet. Each time you see any unproductive land in any village and people are complaining about hunger, unemployment and poverty, it is because we would rather have bush growing around us, than convert the empty spaces to productive lands.

Igbos are not so divided in real life.

Pay no attention to impostors here who are trying to create the impression of division in Igboland, by hiding behind Anambra tags.

Every where you see Igbos, they quickly close ranks and form an Igbo association.

I served in rural community in Yoruba, yet the few Igbos there from all parts of Igboland had an association, and immediately One of them saw me, he started speaking Igbo to me, without asking me if I were Igbo. I was amused and asked him how he knew, he told me that it's all over me.
There is this Igbo in every Igbo man, that is unmistaken.

No group unites and form "Porapo" groups faster in foreign lands than Igbos. Our unity even scares other Nigerians many times. Many accuse us of being tribalists, because we look out for each other.

@bolded GBAM!

What they are doing here is EXACTLY to prevent Igbo unity.

They will create one moniker and claim to be Anambra, then attack Ebonyi and Enugu.
Then create another moniker and pretend to be Anioma, then attack Anambra and other Igbos.
Then create another moniker and pretend to be from Enugu and attack SS and others they fear we might unite with.

They know their game of divide and rule tactics is collapsing in Nigeria, so they are frantically trying to use a general hatred for Igbos to unite Nigerians and maintain their status quo.

What shocks me is that respectable people in this forum fall for such dirty tricks and join them in naively attacking different parts of Igboland. Exactly what they hoped some naive people among us will do. The people behind these monikers are sophisticated propagandists. They know what they are doing and how to work the psychology of an ordinary Igbo person to attack his brother based on primordial instincts.

Igboland must develop. Eyes are finally opening to the reality of Nigeria.
I am hoping that we get past the stage of discussing all these side groups and concentrate on how to create a vibrant economy.

Igboland is still s shameful net importer of food. The saddest part of this tragedy is that foodstuff we import from fish to poultry to yams, tomatoes, rice, cassava, beans, etc can all be grown in Igboland! Everything agricultural product you import into Igboland, you have enriched someone and impoverished Igboland.

Yet our youths are jobless and land is uncultivated in many villages! We need to find a way to get our land in the villages useful to us economically by cultivating them. We need more unemployed youths to consider fish tanks and how to make well packaged smoked fish. We need the government of SE to consider making cashew plantations, orange plantations, palm tree plantations etc so that these products of these plantations help to generate IGR and keep many youths employed.

These international airports are acceptable to me an IGBO..

Abuja International airport

Lagos International airport

Kano International airport

Port Harcourt International airport
There should be one standard international airport in each region of Nigeria
The functional International airport in Nigeria are:

1. Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport, Abuja
2. Murtala Mohammed International airport, Lagos
3. Akanu Ibiam International airport, Enugu
4. Mallam Aminu Kano International airport, Kano
5. Port Harcourt International airport, PH
6. Kaduna International airport, Kaduna.

I have heard they gather here to lament their western existence and pour resentment to all Igbo achievements. Such a bitter set of afonjas.
Let them regret, they won't stop nothing. Most Igbos are gradually having a little bit of sense to understand Nigeria for what it truly is, not what they hoped it was.

You know i met a lot of Afonja that said they voted Buhari so as to ruin Igbos for them? Just think of that level of hatred for once. You voted someone not to help you better your life, but because you perceive his hatred for Igbos should take priority over your own well-being?

There is nothing like SE/SS.
What we have is Igboland. Ndiigbo have no synergy with many groups in SS.

Ndiigbo needs Enugu International Airport working.
You are not more Anambra than Stella Odua who battled hard to make Enugu international Airport work.
That onuebonyi is not even from Anambra! It's the same chino unemployed nuisance.
I don't know he finds it so easy to deceive you guys.

That is a pure Afonja that you are discussing with. Nothing pains them more than the determination of Igbos to develop their area just as they are helping other Nigerians to develop Lagos, Abuja and Kano.

Enugu city beats PH in Everything. PH is just trying be half of what Enugu has become. Please post the stats for them to learn.
PH beats Enugu in number of multinational companies, businesses and expatriate living in the city. But in terms of urban sprawl, Enugu beats PH.

Enugu must learn how to bring and keep businesses in the city.

However, you can be sure that the Nigerian FG will try to frustrate every effort in that direction. They will prefer that Enugu remains a village.
