It Appears Reno Omokri is having none of the explanations provided by Buharis handlers as regarding the massacre of Nigerian soldiers by Boko Haram which the adminiatration earlier tried to cover up.

He just shared a throwback tweet by Buhari in which the current President accused President Jonathan Of ignoring deaths. Reno wrote
"Read @MBuhari’s 2015 tweet accusing @GEJonathan of ignoring the deaths of soldiers killed by Boko Haram because of elections and retweet this if you agree that President Buhari is the greatest hypocrisy of all time.

Buharis 2015 tweet read :

" it is unacceptable to ignore or minimize the death of citizens because of election. It is heart breaking. things must change"

Unfortunately Buhari who promised before the elections to lead the fight against Boko Haram from the front has been cought severally doing thesame thing he criticized others of doing. Despite several claims by Lai Mohammed and the president Boko Haram continues to wreck havoc.

National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress ( APC) , Adams Oshiomhole , on Wednesday, took a swipe at the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP), saying that the only integrity they have is the reputation of share the money .
Oshiomhole spoke when he inaugurated the 42- man National Peace and Reconciliation Committee at the party secretariat , in Abuja , emphasising that only Nigerians with short memories can compare the APC and the PDP.
The former governor of Edo State expressed surprise that the attack from certain aggrieved persons in the APC did not have the effect the opposition expected .
Extolling the committee members , Oshiomhole said , “ On behalf of the NWC , I want to appreciate each and every one of you who , despite your very crowded schedule as governors , senators, ministers, at short notice , honoured us by accepting your appointment to serve in this committee we set up your help us as a party find in - house solution to our problems by restoring peace , enduring internal unity and harmony within the APC family .
“We have gone through very crucial state in the processes leading to the next presidential, National Assembly, governorship and State Assembly elections . I think by my own record , of the 36 states and the FCT , we have done exceedingly well.
“It is impossible even for the most gifted child to score 100 per cent in every subject and the more questions you have to answer, the higher your chances of missing some of them .
“One thing I learnt early in life in trying to lead people of equal is that once you become the chairman of a logo association , you automatically become the logo dustbin to which everybody empties everything that is dirty.

President Muhammadu Buhari and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), have been asked to within seven days desist from using Next Level logo allegedly stolen from Rex Institute.

The order was handed to President Buhari and his ruling APC party, by Rex Institute, whose logo was allegedly stolen.
Supporters of Buhari had unveiled Next Level as the campaign logo and slogan for his re-election campaign on Sunday.
Soon after the unveiling of the logo at the launch of Buhari 2019 campaign, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, had accused the President and his campaign organization of plagiarising the logo of a thesis authored by Kelly Costner, an Associate Professor of Winthrop University in South Carolina, USA.

Responding through a letter dated November 19, 2018 and addressed to the National Legal Adviser at 40 Blantyre Cres. Wuse 2 Abuja Nigeria, the institute vowed to drag Nigeria President and his party to court should they not respond to their order.


“Dear Sir Without prejudice, it has come to our attention that the All Progressives Congress Party of Nigeria has stolen the intellectual property right of our client, The Rex Institute.

“As you can see from the attached visuals, the logo your Party has just unveiled and which is being promoted by the Leader of the Party and the President of Nigeria on his Twitter feed is a direct copy of that of our client, with just a small colour change in the arrow.
“However, every other element from the name, font and design is identical. In fact, in my entire legal career, I have never seen such a blatant piece of plagiarism.


“We, therefore, demand that you immediately cease and desist in any use of the logo and make every effort to recall and destroy all materials which have already been disseminated.

“Failure to do so within 7 days will leave our client with no other option but to seek full legal redress via the Nigerian Courts. I look forward to your immediate reply. Yours faithfully Sue Lavache Attorney at Law,” the letter read.

Inflation rate in Nigeria declined to 11.26 percent in the month of October 2018 after rising for two consecutive months; August and September.

According to data released on Wednesday morning by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the inflation dropped to 11.26 percent from 11.28 percent recorded in September 2018.

Business Post reports that on month-on-month basis, the headline index increased by 0.74 percent in October 2018, down by 0.09 percent points from the rate recorded in September 2018 (0.83) percent. The percentage change in the average composite CPI for the twelve months period ending October 2018 over the average of the CPI for the previous twelve months period was 12.78 percent, from 13.16 percent recorded in September 2018.

The urban inflation rate increased by 11.64 percent (year-on-year) in October 2018 from 11.70 percent recorded in September 2018, while the rural inflation rate increased by 10.93 percent in October 2018 from 10.92 percent in September 2018.

On a month-on-month basis, the urban index rose by 0.76 percent in October 2018, from 0.86 percent recorded in September, while the rural index also rose by 0.72 percent in October 2018, down from the rate recorded in September 2018 (0.82) percent.

However, Nigeria’s Statistician General, Mr Yemi Kale, disclosed on Wednesday that food inflation jumped to 13.38 percent year-on-year in October from 13.31 percent in September, with the core inflation increased to 9.9 percent year-on-year in October from 9.8 percent.

This rise in the food index was caused by increases in prices of Fruits, Meat, Vegetables, Potatoes, yam and other tubers, Bread and cereals, and Oils and Fats.

On month-on-month basis, the food sub-index increased by 0.82 percent in October 2018, from 1.00 percent recorded in September. The average annual rate of change of the Food sub-index for the twelve-month period ending October 2018 over the previous twelve-month average was 15.36percent, from the average annual rate of change recorded in September (15.92) percent.

2) NNPC might own refineries, but it doesn't refine because they don't work hence the crude oil swap/subsidy.
3)Shell, Chevron, Total et al all operate joint ventures on behalf of themselves and the NNPC. The NNPC operates nada. The only thing NNPC does is contribute Nigeria's share of the money and it's something the CBN can do.

Brief explanation of how the JV's work because I'm in a good mood.

When a new oil field is to be developed, the NNPC takes a percentage (usually 60%) while the rest of the companies involved share 40%. All parties involved usually contribute funds according to their share and when the field starts producing, the operator of the joint venture first takes its operating expenses first before the profits are shared according to shareholding.
NNPC contributes no technical expertise at all.
