President Buhari was reportedly furious on seeing a Financial Times report credited to President Trump. President Buhari reportedly boasted that when he was president in 1983 that President Trump was still in college.

However President Buhari had last night called on Nigerian allies across the world to intimate them on possible sanctions against America. One of the aides in the villa who spoke to us but pleaded to remain anonymous said that President Buhari is set to cut all diplomatic ties with America to punish President Trump.

More details were still being expected as American diplomats were sighted trooping into the Nigeria's seat of power to lobby Nigerian government to stand down on its hard stance on America.
Lol....at Nigerian allies around the world.

It is sad that NBS has confirmed again that Nigeria's GDP shrank again in the last quarter.

Egypt however is continuously growing at 5%.

We have totally lost the hope of wearing the crown of Africa's largest economy. Let us hope the equally lethargic South Africa does not overtake us soon.

Since this post a few weeks ago, Poland a country of 37 million people has overtaken Nigeria; 180 million people economy.

Nigeria's economy is truly dying. We need emergency measures now to save our economy.

I don't care what you believe nwokem but the truth can set us all free. Have you asked yourself why it is just one flight Ethiopia land at the airport for almost 5 yrs? In the eyes of FG the airport is not recognized in Nigeria as an international airport.. because they only consider Lagos, Abuja, PH and Kano as the only international airports in Nigeria. Even Kaduna stands a better chance right now because it has been recently equipped.
Oga,

Whether in the eyes or nose of Buhari, Enugu is a local airport, you just confirmed to me that Ethiopian airline flies into Enugu using some of the biggest and most modern aircraft's in the world.

All the time I flew into Enugu. It was a boeing 787 dreamliner. The same plane that will fly you to Los Angeles or Chicago if you fly ETHIOPIAN from Addis Ababa to Chicago or Newark.

Nigeria is a laughing stock in the aviation world because they equip airports in the desert such as Katsina or Sokoto while leaving airports like Enugu and PH which have growth potential. Unless the FG is prepared to pay foreign airlines to land in Katsina, making the terminal of gold or paving the runway with diamond changes nothing.

PASSENGER volume is what makes an airport viable not glass buildings. So all those white elephant airports in Katsina, Sokoto etc, remain empty testimony to Nigeria's tragic mismanagement, while Enugu and others abandoned tell the story of Nigeria's poor infrastructure. Even if Buhari abandon AIIA, Enugu for the rest of his life. It changes nothing. The so called "Air Nigeria" they want to use to serve northern airports will still fail because nobody will fly in those coffins they won't maintain due to toxic Nigerian politics. If they ask private companies to manage Air Nigeria, then the companies will go to southern airports.

I applaud Ndigbo for their determination to support their own. We all know the wicked plans of the present regime us to return the SE into stone age thru violence and neglect. As in everything they do, they will still fail.

That's the problem with our people. We like sentiment than reality. There are only 4 international airports in Nigeria and these airports were the ones being Concessioned. Enugu airport is not part of it. Forget the building, because building does not make an airport to become international.
Oga,
Enugu is an international airport whether you believe it or not.
I have flown from Enugu to Washington DC too many times to count
You can feed yourself with lies, but it does not change reality.

The sixteen female members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) who were arraigned earlier today at the Magistrate court in Owerri, Imo state, discharged unconditionally. Their release sparked celebration among fellow pro-Biafran supporters.

The IPOB women were arrested and remanded in custody for demanding to know the whereabouts of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

The women, who protested on the streets of Owerri last Friday before they were arrested and arraigned in court on Monday, also asked the Federal Government to conduct a referendum for the creation of the Independent State of Biafra.

They threatened that the 2019 general elections would not hold if the referendum was not conducted.

They are just harassing peaceful people in Nigeria.

Soon someone amongst them will decide it is better to plant IEDs and it will start.

I don't know why Buhari hated peace. The things preventing Pro Biafra organisations from having an armed wing is that people have urged them to simply protest peacefully.
Those who make peaceful protests impossible in a democracy. Make violent protests the only way

So I must join you guys in accepting that Dangote cement is fake before you believe I am Igbo? The company I work for has been using this dangote cement since 1995 to construct houses and there has never been any case of collapse. This same cement is currently being use to build the Lagos lite rail pillars, even Nestoil tower was constructed with dangote cement same with over 95% of the towers built within the last 20 years in Victoria Island and nothing bad has happened to them. Like I said before, show me the buildings constructed with dangote cement that have collapsed in the East. If can't show me, then you have no evidence to proof to me the dangote manufactures fake cement. I also want all of you to stop being biased when judging matters because calling dangote cement a fake cement without proof is a sign of jealousy and hate which is what we always complain about other tribes towards us. How will you feel if a Northerner asks other northerners to boycott Innoson cars and calls them fake cars?
If Dangote were not supplying the market with fake substandard cement, nobody would be mentioning it here.

For my new building, i also use BUA cement because of its high quality. Dangote deliberately makes fake cement and then uses government protection to muffle people from saying the truth.

Anyone that likes himself today buys BUA which is slightly more expensive but much better quality product. Incase you don't know, BUA is owned by a Fulani guy, but he makes excellent quality cement. So speaking the truth about Dangote cement isn't anything to do with tribe. Dangote is killing people through making adulterated low quality cement in Nigeria.

Only contractors of projects where the owner is not close-by to inspect the work use Dangote to do cut price and quality. If you are building a bungalow, Dangote cement is okay, but if you building a storey or multi storey building, you better use quality cement and runaway from low quality Dangote cement.

That NnamdiJonathan is a yoruba, very likely and most probably a DSS spy sent here to see if Igbos are plotting Biafra in this forum.

They always think everything Igbo does is because they want Biafra. What they dont know is thst most Igbos will prefer a restructured, working and decent Nigeria to Biafra.

it is now very clear that buhari is using his bokoharam terrorist to kill all the igbo soldiers in the nigerian army!

who soever is still doubting this should check the casualties from 2016 to date and see that 70% of the dead are igbos VERY VERY VERY FEW or no any yoruba and hausa fulani in the list of dead soldiers from 2016. the other 25% are northers from benue, taraba, kaduna and adamawa and they are all christians with muslim names as is rampant in those areas then just as few as 5% are yourba and hausa fulani whom were felled by mistake!

pls if you feel this assertion is wrong, kindly post a link to any dead yoruba or hausa fulani soldiers who died in the war against bokoharam from 2016 to date.

UMU IGBO PLEASE RESIGN FROM THE NIGERIAN FULANI/YORUBA ARMY AND COME BACK HOME! LEAVE THEIR ARMY FOR THEM BEFORE THEY KILL YOU. THERE IS A PLAN TO KILL ALL THE IGBOS IN THEIR ARMY!

PLEASE RESIGN AND COME BACK HOME - I CAN BET YOU THEY WILL SURELY KILL YOU. IF YOU DIE IN THE FULANI YORUBA ARMY JUST KNW YOU KILLED YOURSELF!
That is EXACTLY what those Fulanis are doing.

They are murdering Igbo soldiers through sending them on missions and giving Boko Haram intelligence report on their number, location, level of ammunition etc so that Boko Haram can attack them and wipe out the unit.

This is the preamble to their effort to fight the Igbos in a second civil war by first wiping the Igbo officers in the Nigerian army either through retirement or set-up Boko Haram ambushes.

Nairobi is regional HQ for UNEP, UN habitat, IBM, Coca Cola, World Bank, Standard Chartered, Merck, GE, Airtel, Visa, Mastercard Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, Cisco, CDC and lots more. Nairobi is far better planned than Lagos:

Lagos is an overrated dump that foreigners cannot wait to run from. You suffer power shortages, congested roads, lack of space.

As for Anambra the cities are still small but planning should start now before lawlessness and disorganization permanently sets in. Onitsha should be a lot better than it is. Showcasing the Awka express when the inner city is chaos is disingenuous. The state government needs to do a lot more for those two cities in terms of roads and controlling street trading.
A size-able population of Anambra residents and businesses are located in Nnewi.

That city has had the worst neglect compared to even Onitsha and Awka.

Nnewi needs A LOT of intervention in helping it become a decent place for living and investment.

Don't know your intention with this post.

The Niger Delta militants have never been Igboman's problem, nor did they target Igbo people.

Whatever intention behind your mischief, you will fail to achieve it.

We have a bunch of those Afonja people here.

Their mission is simply "DIVIDE and CONQUER" !

If they are not pitching Anambra against Imo, Enugu or Ebonyi, then it's against the Niger Deltans.

Yet, they see what Ambode is doing to Igbos in Lagos, they see Fulani herdsmen killing and raping village women, they aren't interested because it's their people doing it.

They are terrified that Igbo and Niger Deltans have united against their oppressors.

Just ignore him, he will get tired when he realizes that everyone knows his silly game.

If you want to fix Abia State, fix Aba first. It is the heart beat of that state. 16 years of neglect is no joke. BUT Inspite of everything Aba has been through, I am very optimistic about its future. Aba still has the fundamentals of a successful city and economy. It has manufacturing and retail on point.

Once Aba gets its infrastructure challenges right, it will have one of the biggest economic revitalization that we have ever withnessed in Nigeria.

The Proposed Enyimba Economic City will give it the energy boost that it desperately needs. The plan looks solid. I hope to happens as planned.
I hope Aba recovers and pulls Abia state up to become the giant it was meant to be.

One unfortunate mindset of Abia rulers had been to neglect Aba in preference to Umuahia, which had no industrial or economic capacity possessed by Aba.

I hope the successive governments of Abia will recognize that Aba is where they need to fix to pull the state up. Just like Anambra recognized that Onitsha was very important in pulling the state up than Awka. Imagine if Onitsha was abandoned as a sh*thole and Awka is made a London, the entire state would still be a sh*thole because its biggest city is terrible.

Aba must be planned in a way that all it's roads are tarred with gutters on both sides of the road.Trees and greenery must return to Aba the way Owerri has taken greenery with planting of trees seriously for a few years now. If we eliminate the flooded streets of Aba due to lack of gutter system, and make the entire city accessible and decent, the people will naturally reclaim their manufacturing ingenuity and enterprise.

To fix Aba might require two or more dedicated construction companies permanently stationed there to go from street to street repairing the roads and fixing gutters that are well interconnected to other gutter systems of adjoining streets. Tarring one street and leaving the town isn't a strategy to fix Aba because of the many decades of neglect the city has suffered.

One thing Rochas will be remembered for is the new Owerri area which he implemented to the letter according to the master plan and tarring of the World bank housing area.

Personally, i don't think Imo state did badly under Rochas. He was definitely better than Ohakim, Udenwa or other visionless folks the state had produced since 1999. Although i am not aware if Rochas accumulated debts for the state. But, nobody can deny that Rochas left Imo state better than he met it.
